我The changes of noradrenaline content in the adrenergic nerves of the stomach wall have beeninvestigated by glyoxylic acid-induced fluorohistochemical method.The experimental results revealed that there were more noradrenergic nerve terminals with morefluorescent intensity in the dogs with excellent effect of acupuncture anesthesia
but less noradrenergicterminals with weak fluorescent intensity in those with poor effect of acupuncture anesthesia.These results suggest that there is an increase of storage and a decreased release of noradrenalineduring operation in dogs with good acupuncture anesthetic effects;on the contrary
an increased re-lease with decreased storage in those with poor effects.All these changes are similar to those observedin clincal patients.
