Abstract

25 cases of tinea pedis patients were treated with moxibustion. Among them, 17 cases of blistertype fully recovered after moxibustion 10 times and more, 8 cases of erosion type complicated by infection were highly improved. It suggested that the mechanism of moxibustion treating tinea pedis probably relied on its functions of anti-inflammation immunity, dredging meridians and collaterals andstrengthening the body resistance to elimlnate Xie Qi (pathogenic factors)
