148 cases of sequelae of apoplexy were treated by acupuncture combined with Chinese herbs

cases treated by only acupuncture or Chinese herbs medicine were used as control group. Results showed that acupuncture combined with Chinese herbs can obtained a better effect than simple acupuncture or Chinese herbs. Furthermore

these results suggested that the treatment of sequelae of apoplexy shouId begin as early as possible
