24 cases with neurodermatitis were treated with plum-blossom needle. Of them 13 cases (54.16% ) were recovered

4 cases (16. 67% ) improved and 1case (4. 17 % ) was not improved

the total effective rate was 95. 83 %. It suggested that this therapy might adjust the function of vegetative nerve by stimulating local part of the body

so that it reflexly coordinated the state of excitement and inhibition of cerebral cortex.
