60 cases with secondary pneumonedema after acute cerebrovascular disease were divided into two groups namely Western medicine treatment group

and Western medicine plus acupuncture treatment group

each group was in 30 cases

PA-aO2 was measured by means of blood gas analytical meter

the results showed the improvement rate of Western medicine plus acupuncture group was better than that of Western medicine group. It means that acupuncture can promote effectively ventilation function of lungs

and improve pneumonedema.
