the author introduces some contributions of book Sheng Ji Zong Lu (Imperial Medical Encyclopedia) to acu moxibustion medicine. This book is a voluminous work compiled by a staff of court physicians of the Northern Song Dynasty Government. It has a very rich content covering every branch of medicine and the Volume 191 to Volume 194 are specialized in expounding acupuncture and moxibustion which summarize Gu Du (bone length measurement)
