对机体内环境的调节存在着良性作用。Objective: To observe the effect of acupuncture an d moxibustion on blood lipid l evel in apoplectic hemiplegia patients with omalgia. Methods:9 0 cases of apople ctic hemiplegia patients with omalgia were randomly divided into simple acupunct ure (n=30)
acupuncture+medication (n=30) and simple medication (n=30) groups. M ain acupoints used were Shuigou(GV 26)
Neiguan (PC 6)
Tongli (HT 5)
Jiquan (HT 1)
Zusanli (ST 36)
Juegu (GB 39)
Sanyinjiao (SP 6) and Yongquan (KI 1) c o mbined with other acupoints.These acupoints were punctured once daily
wit h 5 days being a therapeutic course
4 courses altogether. Warm moxibustion was also applied to Zusanli (ST 36) and Guanyuan (CV 4) for deficiency-cold syndrome stroke patie nt s.Hua Tan Tong Luo Tang”(Decoction for Resolving Phlegm and Dredging Meridi an-c ollaterals) composed of Fuling (Poria 茯苓)
Banxia (Rhizoma Pinelliae 半夏)
etc. and Western medicines for pain-relief
lowering blood-lipid
etc. were used in medication and medication+acupuncture groups. Results: After t reatment
self-comp arison between pre- and post-treatment of each group showed that both plasma tot al cholesterol (TC) and triglyceride (TG) levels declined significantly (P<0.01)
but no significant differences among the 3 groups in TC and TG contents (P>0.0 5). The total effective rates for lowering blood lipid and improving clinical sy mptoms (including omalgia
etc) in acupuncture group
acupuncture+medication gr o up and medication group were 81.8%
78.3% and 81.8% respectively. Concl usion: Ac u-moxibustion and medication have a good therapeutic effect in relieving shoul der pain and lowering blood lipid in apoplectic hemiplegia patients.
