    • Science and Technology News Report: Significant progress has been made in the study of the urodynamic effects of Yiyuan moxibustion on detrusor non reflex neurogenic bladder in rats with sacral cord injury. Through carefully designed experiments, the study revealed the mechanism by which Yiyuan moxibustion regulates the expression of key molecules in bladder tissue, such as transient receptor potential vanillic acid 4 (TRPV4), adenosine triphosphate (ATP), tyrosine protein kinase KIT (C-Kit), and ATP receptor P2X5, to promote the recovery of urinary function in neurogenic bladder rats. The research team first constructed a bladder detrusor muscle non reflex neurogenic bladder model and compared it with different treatment groups. The results showed that Yiyuan moxibustion treatment can significantly improve bladder function in rats, including reducing maximum bladder capacity and bladder compliance, and increasing leak point pressure. Meanwhile, Yiyuan moxibustion can also increase the ATP content in bladder tissue, increase the positive expression rates of C-Kit and P2X5, as well as the expression levels of TRPV4, C-Kit, and P2X5 proteins. This discovery provides new ideas and methods for the treatment of neurogenic bladder. By activating the TRPV4 channel in bladder tissue, Yiyuan moxibustion can promote the release of ATP from bladder epithelial cells, thereby increasing the number of Cajal interstitial cells in the bladder and the expression of their purinergic receptor P2X5, improving the contractility of the detrusor muscle, and enhancing bladder function. This study not only provides a theoretical basis for the treatment of neurogenic bladder, but also offers new insights for the treatment of other related diseases. This study not only advances research in the field of neurogenic bladder, but also opens up new directions for the treatment of this disease. In the future, we look forward to seeing more applications and research on Yiyuan moxibustion in the treatment of neurogenic bladder and other related diseases.
