By reviewing the current research status, experts have found that the existing standards for moxibustion mainly focus on technical standards, such as moxibustion, thermosensitive moxibustion, Du moxibustion, wheat grain moxibustion, medicinal mud moxibustion, etc. However, there are still many gaps in the standardization of moxibustion materials and equipment, equipment construction, moxa purification, and management and work standards. In order to promote the standardized development of moxibustion, experts have proposed further research directions based on the framework of the moxibustion standard system. It is suggested to conduct in-depth research on the standardization of moxibustion methods from the aspects of technical layering operation, selection of moxibustion materials, research and development of new moxibustion equipment, talent cultivation, and equipment management. This research achievement will provide strong support for the standardization and normalization of the moxibustion industry, injecting new impetus into the healthy development of the industry.”
