Effect of acupuncture on arthritic pathological injury in rats with type Ⅱ collagen-induced rheumatoid arthritis
“Researchers have conducted in-depth exploration on the treatment mechanism of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) in CIA rats by needling "Yanglingquan", "Zusanli", and "Xuanzhong". The study aims to observe the effects of acupuncture on the arthritis index, synovial pathology, serum immune inflammatory factors, and related protein expression in these rats. The experimental results showed that acupuncture treatment can effectively reduce the arthritis index of CIA rats, alleviate joint swelling, and regulate the expression of inflammatory factors such as TNF - α, IL-6, and IL-17 in serum. Further research has also found that acupuncture can affect the expression levels of proteins and mRNA such as mt-p53, NF - κ B p65, and PPAR γ in synovial tissue of joints, providing a new perspective for understanding the mechanism of acupuncture treatment for RA. The research results provide new ideas and methods for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, and also provide strong support for the application of acupuncture and moxibustion in modern medicine. This discovery not only helps us to deepen our understanding of the mechanism of acupuncture and moxibustion, but also provides a scientific basis for the clinical application of acupuncture and moxibustion in RA treatment.”
