“A study on the combination of moxibustion and benazepril in the treatment of chronic heart failure (CHF) has made significant progress. This study replicated a CHF rat model and observed the effects of moxibustion "Xinshu" and "Feishu" combined with benazepril on heart function and key proteins in myocardial tissue. The results showed that moxibustion combined with drug therapy can effectively improve the cardiac function of rats, reduce the levels of B-type brain natriuretic peptide (BNP) and angiotensin II (Ang II) in serum, and decrease the expression of phosphorylated PERK and eIF2 α proteins in myocardial tissue. This discovery provides a scientific basis for the combination of moxibustion and medication in the treatment of CHF, and offers new ideas for future clinical research and application.”
