Mechanisms of Peitu Yimu acupuncture in repairing intestinal mucosal barrier by regulating CRF/CRFR1 pathway in diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome rats
“The latest research has found that the soil nourishing and wood suppressing acupuncture method can effectively improve the intestinal mucosal barrier function of diarrhea predominant irritable bowel syndrome rats, alleviate visceral hypersensitivity and anxiety depression. Its mechanism of action may be related to the inhibition of the corticotropin releasing factor/CRF receptor 1 pathway and the restoration of intestinal tight junction protein expression.”
