    • Effect of electroacupuncture intervention on the spinal cord PPIA/NF-κB signaling pathway in mice with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis

    • A study on the effects of electroacupuncture on mice with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) has made significant progress. Researchers investigated the mechanism of electroacupuncture intervention in regulating extracellular PPIA (PPIA) and related signaling pathway proteins in ALS mice by comparing the motor function, spinal cord cell outer ring affinity A (PPIA), and related signaling pathway protein expression of model group, electroacupuncture group, and liraglutide group mice. The experimental results showed that electroacupuncture intervention can effectively improve the motor function of ALS mice, reduce the damage of spinal anterior horn motor neurons, decrease the expression and positive expression of TDP-43 protein in spinal cord tissue, and reduce the relative expression levels of PPIA and NF - κ B proteins in spinal cord tissue, as well as the serum PPIA content and PPIA immunofluorescence expression in spinal cord tissue. These findings provide important evidence for the application of electroacupuncture in the treatment of ALS, revealing the important mechanism of electroacupuncture intervention in regulating extracellular PPIA on the neuroinflammation of ALS mice. This research not only provides new ideas and methods for the treatment of ALS, but also provides strong support for the application of traditional medical methods such as acupuncture and moxibustion in the treatment of nervous system diseases. In the future, researchers will further explore the specific mechanisms of electroacupuncture intervention in the treatment of ALS, in order to bring more effective treatment methods to patients.
