Effect of electroacupuncture on behavior and hippocampal inflammatory factors in rats with chronic fatigue syndrome

    • Effect of electroacupuncture on behavior and hippocampal inflammatory factors in rats with chronic fatigue syndrome

    • Electroacupuncture treatment has a significant effect on the behavior and hippocampal inflammatory factors of rats with chronic fatigue syndrome. The study established a CFS model by improving the chronic multifactorial composite stress stimulation method and intervened with electroacupuncture. The results showed that electroacupuncture can reduce the fatigue level of rats, improve their learning and memory abilities, improve the morphology and structure of hippocampal neurons, and regulate the levels of inflammatory factors. This provides experimental evidence for the treatment of CFS with electroacupuncture, and also offers a new perspective for the study of the mechanism of CFS.
