    • Guasha improves knee osteoarthritis by inhibiting chondrocyte apoptosis and regulating expression of autophagy-related genes and proteins in rats

    • Guasha has a significant improvement effect on joint cartilage damage in rats with knee osteoarthritis. Research has found that guasha can inhibit the excessive release of inflammatory factors and reduce the apoptosis rate of chondrocytes. This is attributed to Guasha upregulating the expression of Beclin-1 and LC3, while reducing the expression of P62 and Caspase-3, promoting the autophagy process of chondrocytes. This study provides new scientific basis for the treatment of knee osteoarthritis with guasha, and brings new insights into the field of arthritis treatment.
