    • Effect of electroacupuncture on insulin signaling in the substantia nigra of the midbrain in mice with Parkinson’s disease

    • The latest research has found that electroacupuncture at specific acupoints can improve motor function in Parkinson's disease model mice, increase the expression of tyrosine hydroxylase in the substantia nigra of the midbrain, and may inhibit neuroinflammatory responses by regulating the IGF-1R/IRS-1/PI3K/AKT signaling pathway.
