Aims

To propagate scientific research achievements of acupuncture and promote the integration of acupuncture into modern medical system. To report results of the newest original scientific research about 1) the mechanisms of acupuncture and moxibustion in the treatment of various diseases, 2) the essence of meridian-collateral theory of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), 3) different academic viewpoints about acupuncture, moxibustion, acupoints, meridians, etc. 4) newest academic development.  

Scope

Original articles and reviews of scientific research, clinical practice, literature and theory of acupuncture medicine.

To be specific, the focus of the journal includes, but is not confined to, experimental researches, clinical researches, literature researches, theory researches, reviews, standards and guidelines, thinking and methods, etc. on acupuncture and moxibustion.
