Once your manuscript has been accepted by Acupuncture Research, you are required to submit the editable original files of all figures and charts included in the manuscript. The specific requirements are as follows:

For common charts such as bar graphs and line graphs:

If the charts are created in Excel, please provide the original “.xls” or “.xlsx” file containing both the data used for plotting, and the charts generated from these data. The data here refer not to the raw data, but to the statistical values (e.g., mean ± standard deviation).

If the charts are created using GraphPad, please provide the “.pzf” or “.pzfx” file containing both the plotting data and the charts. If the images or charts are created in Photoshop, please provide the “.psd” file. If the images are created using Adobe Illustrator (AI), please provide the “.ai”, “.eps”, or other editable vector formats.

In summary, for bar charts, line charts, and similar graphs, you must provide fully editable files; for flow charts, mechanism diagrams, and other schematic figures, you must provide layered source files so that the editor can adjust formatting when necessary.

For commonly used images such as morphological images, immunofluorescence staining images, and protein band images, the resolution must be ≥ 300 dpi.

All charts and images should be saved separately, with one indicator (parameter) per file or worksheet. Name each file clearly according to its sequence in the manuscript, then compress (zip) the files and send them to the journal's email address (zcyjbjb@vip.163.com). Please indicate in the email subject line: “Manuscript ID + Author Name + Handling Editor”.
