摘要:In order to analyse the mechanism of acupuncture on the regulation ac- tion of the abnormality of cardio-vascular function and the possible pathwa- ys, experiments were performed on 20 rabbits weighing 2.2-3.5 Kg and were operated under urethane anesthesia. The arterial blood pressure, left ventri - cular pressure (LVP), maximum rate of left ventricular pressure rise time to peak (LV dp/dt) and ECG(Lead Ⅱ) were recorded simultaneously on the model RM-86 polygraph. A bipolar stimulating electrode was stereotaxically implanted into the hypothalamus(P 1-3, R 0.5-2, H-2-4) according to Sawyer's atlas. An electrical stimulation was giv ento the hypothalamus in conscious status. Parameters of the stimulation are as follows: A train of squnre pulse of 50 Hz, wave width 1 msec, intensity 0.5-1.3 mA. Each train was 15-30 sec in duration and separated by an interval of 5-10 minutes. After the stimulation of hypothalamus, changes of cardio-vascular function showed marked ischemic ECG changes such as bradycardia, ventricular extrasystole, ST segment depression or elevation, T-wave peaking or flattening and showed marked rise of arterial blood pressure, LVP, LVdp/dt, then the effects of acupuncturing "Neiguan"or by intravenous injection of β-adrenergic receptor blockade propranolol, adrenergic receptor blockade phentolamine and M-cholinergic blockade on the abnormality of the central cardio-vascu- lar function were observed. the results were summarized as follows: 1. The values of systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, LVP, LVdp/dt induced by the stimulation of hypothalamus were 57.34±6.58 mmHg (mean±SE), 30.8±3.16 mmHg, 40.08±7.05 mmHg, 633.34±101.01 mmHg/sec higher than the basal values obtained before stimulation, re- spectively. But the heart rate decreased by 62.82±11.48 cycle/minute than the basal values obtained before stimulation. Most of the rabaits also showed marked simultaneously ischemic ECG changes. 2. After acupuncturing "Neiguan" points for 20-30 minotes, the rise of arterial blood pressure, LVP, LVdp/dt induced by the stimulation of hypo- thalamus were markably relieved as compared with those before acupunctu- re, and the effect of heart rate decreasing was also weakened. Before and after acupuncturing "Neiguan", there was significant difference. The myo- cardial ischemic changes were remarkably improved simultaneously and the ventricular extrasystole almost disappeared. It appeared to be a modulating action in the acupuncture on the abnormality of central cardio-vascular function. 3. The abnormal changes of cardio-vascular function induced by the stimulation of hypothalamus were partially reversed by intravenous inje- ction of propranolol, phentolamine and atropine. The rise of arterial blo- od pressure, LVP, LVdp/dt induced by the stimulation of hypothalamus were reversed by propranolol. The ventricular extrasystole and myocardi- al ischemic changes induced by it almost disappeared by phentolamine. The decrease of the heart rate induced by it disappeared by atropine. Based on the above results, it could be concluded that acupuncturing "Neiguan" to regulate the central cardio-vascular function might be carried out through adrenergic and cholinergic nervous system.
摘要:Sudden death caused by coronary heart disease threatens human lives greatly, since the prevention and cure of it is very significant. This paper presents several clinical and experimental observations in the treatment of coronary heart disease and preventing sudden death from it with acupunc- ture. The results are as follows. 1. Twenty five cases of coronary heart disease were hospitalized and treated by acupuncture with a effective rate 88%. 2. The cardiac function in thirty two cases of the same disease was fairly moderated by acupuncturing the points "Neiguan" and "Xinshu". 3. The ventricular extrasystoles induced by barium chloride in rabbits were inhibited by electroacupuncture on "Neiguan". The effective rate was 83.3% 4. VFT was increased by the stimulation of electroacupuncture at "Ne- iguan" in rabbits, hence it had certain effect of antiventricular fibrillation. The above results suggest that acupuncture treatment for coronary he- art disease is certainly effective. It may improve cardiac function, corre- ct arrhythmia and increase VFT to preventventricular fibrillation. Rea- lly it plays an active part in preventing and curing some risky factors in sudden death. As electro-acupuncture may prevent or reduce the attack of ventricular fibrillation, it is possible to use this technique to pre- vent the patients from sudden death clinically, but the mechanism and the effe-cts of prevention and cure of it need further investigations.
摘要:In order to detect the properties of PSc, in Meng Cheng county, the authors have made a longe term and periodic observation on 54 cases in channel sensitive persons. Among 39 cases, PSc of relative stability was: in one month 37 cases (94.9%), after a year 29 cases (74.3%), after 3 years 25 cases (64.1%). PSM disappeared or partly disappeared: in a month 2 cases (5.1%), after a year 10 casss (25.7%), after 3 years 14 cases (35.9%). Amo- ng 15 cases, after 5 years, PSc Was relatively stable in 6 cases, absent or partly absent in 9 cases. PSc disappeared year by year and its difference was significant (P<0.05). In 10 cases the PSc disappeared and could not be exci- ted with heat, acupuncture, low frequency impulses. Furthermore, PSc be- came relatively stable in overlaping, symmetry and coincidence with channel On the body surface of PSc sensitive persons, whose PSc partly disa- ppeared, the region of appearance and disappearance of PSc could be di- stinguished. Most of the dis-trition lines of PSc coincided with the cutane- ous segments. All these seem to show that PSc has certain substantial fou- ndation in the peripery. On the other hand, due to the semilateral distribu- tion of PSM on the body surface, its centrifugal disintegration and the independence of the nature of stimuli (pressing, needling or electric impulses) in the exci tation of PSC which may be felt by the one under observa- tion, the relationship between PSCand thalamo-cerebral cortex must be con sidered.
