摘要:The other of every pair was as the control. All experiemental procedures were the same as the electroacupuncture group except that the sciatic nerve wasn't stimulated. The contents of SP of NST(at the area postrema segment) of both the electroacupuncture and the control were measured with the micro-spectroscopic image analyser. The results obtained were as follows: 1. The distribution positions of SP-like immunoreactive nerve fibers in the electroacupuncture group were the same as in the control group, That is, SP-like immunoreactive nerve fibers distributed from the candal part to the rostral part in NST. 2. The contents and the area of SP-like immunoreactive nerve fibers. of the electroacupuncture were more than the control. There was a significant difference between the two groups. The results mentioned above suggested that the role of NST is involed in the acupuncture analgesia.

For nearly half a century, the research has been concentrated mainly on the channel detection, the phenomena of channels and the relationship between channel-point and viscera, etc. In the research on the principle of acupuncture, Experimental Acupuncturology has accumulated a lot of information to prove that therapeutic effect of acupuncture is credible. The effect of acupuncture is influenced by many factors. Thus, it is also one of the basic tasks for Experimental Acupuncturology to programme the experimental procedure according to the principles of diagnosis and treatment bascd on an overall analysis of symptoms and signs, so that the best wring scheme can be chosen out. summarily, Experimental Acupuncturology has, at beast, three important significances in training modern specialists of acupuncture medicine. Firstly, it can make it possible for students to get deeper understanding on tue thought of traditional acupunctnre and realize the advantage of acupuncture, thus, encourage their faith on this medical means. Secondly, it can enrich the contents of acupuncture medicine and broaden the outlook of students, because it introduces mod- ern science, technology and experimental method into traditional theory. Finally, it can training students' ability in scientific researches through streng thening the practicability of acupuncture, therefore, its active significance in acupuncture education has been granted by acupuncture specialists in our country, Nowaday, more and more college of TCM has offered this subject which were welcome widely. We suggest that the course of Experimental Acupuncturology is put into acupuncture education system and further improved so that it can serve acupuncture education better and better.
