摘要:It is reported that the dichotomizing afferent fibers supply both the peri- cardium and the brachium in rat. This finding provides a possible morpholo- gical explanation for short reflex which transmits messages only through the connection of peripheral nerve dichotomization. The animals utlized in this study were 15 male or female wistar rats (235 ~360g).Rats were anesthetized with 26% urethane (100mg/100g b.wt,i.p.) and then, acute myocardial ischemia (AMI)was produced by pituitrin (1.0~ 1.5u/a rat,i.M.).Following anesthetization and AMI,The Ⅰ lead of ele- ctrocardiogram (ECG)was recorded, the superficial electrical resistance and cutaneous temperature of the acupoint Neiguan and Zusali were measured. In order to break off the long reflex which invokes some effects through central nervous system, the dorsal roots were removed of spinal cord segments cervical 6(C6)~thoracic 1(T1).In this condition, the AMI can decrease in superficial electrical resistance and cutaneous temperature of the acupoint Neiguan (P< 0.01).Acupuncture at Neiguan can also influence the superficial electrical re- sistance of the acupoint Neiguan, improve in the ECG,increase in the heart rate, but acupuncture at Zusali has no these effects. It suggists that acuooint Neiguan and heart can connect ed through a short reflex.
摘要:Experiments were carried on rats.We applied capsaicin topically on sciatic nerve and used the techniques of extracellular recording and nerve trunk recording. Our results showed that the size of C compound action potentials in nerve trunk and C fiber response of spinal cord WDR neurons were decreased by at least 70% (mean)after topical application of capsaicin (250μg)on the nerve, but A compound action potentials and A fiber response did not change signifi- cantly. It indicated that capsaicin blocked C fiber conduction selectively. Electroacupuncture (EA:100 Hz,0.1ms,3V)applied on left Zusanli (S36) and Sanyinjiao (Sp6)points inhibited C fiber response of spinal WDR neurons in the right side. The effect was similar to animal behavior analgesia elicited by EA.After applying capsaicin (250μg)topically on left sciatic nerve, the inhibitory effect of EA on WDR neurons remained essentially intact (from 61.3±12.0% to 59.0±11.6%,n=6,P>0.05).It indicated that C fiber was not important in EA analgesia. Noxious heat (NH)applied on left hind paw by immersing the hind paw into 52℃ water inhibited C fiber response of spinal WDR neurons in the right ide.It was called diffuse noxious inhibitory controls (DNIC).After applying capsaicin (250μg)topically on left sciatic nerve, the inhibitory effect of NH on WDR neurons was dramatically decreased (from 77.7±8.5% to 8.1±8.9%, n=6,P<0.001).It indicated that C fiber was important in DNIC. Both inhibitory effects of NH and EA were not changed by vehicle tre- atment. EA is different from DNIC,at least in afferent fiber.

摘要:The purpose of this study is to observe the effect of intracerebroventricular (iv)and intra-PAG injection of substance P (SP)on serotonin(5-HT)conte- nts of hypothalamus, hippocampus, striatum and its relation with the change of pain thre shold, electroacupuncture (EA)analgesia,The results were as follows:(1)After icy injection of SP,the pain threshold and the 5-HT co- ntents of hypothalamus, nippocampus were significantly increased,After de- pletion of the 5-HT contents in brain by pCPA,the inhibitor of 5-HT synthe- sis,the effect of SP on elevating pain threshold and the 5-HT contents of hypothalamus, hippocampus were markedly attenuated, bud did not prevent the analgesic effect of SP (2)The pain threshold and the 5-HT contents of hypo- thalamus, hippocampus were dose-dependently increased by intra-PAG injection of SP.(3)The intra-PAG injection of SP introduced simultanously with high or low frepuency EA did not affect the change of 5-HT contents of three brain regions, but caused a more marked elevation of pain threshold,These results suggest that the serotoninergic system may be activated by PAG for the medi- ation of SP induced analgesia. There is a synergic action of analgesia bet- ween the effects produced by intra-PAG injection of SP and those by high or low frepuency EA.
