Its function in the ralationship between the meridian and the internalorgan was also assumed.
摘要:To study the analgesia efficacy of drugs combined with acupuncture analgesia fir painless labir,462 normal pregnancy women were observed. During the latent phase in labor, several analgesia meth-ods: acupuncture analgesia, analgesics, magnetotherapy and auricular acupressure, TENS combinedwith dihydroetorphine were used respectively. While the intrauterine pressure and the peripheral con-tent of β-EP were measured during labor, the experiments of SEPS were also performed on healthyadults to demonstrate the analgesia efficacy of those analgesia methods.The combination of drugs with acupuncture is an excellent method for painless labor without anycomplications and all the mothers and babies are safety. The effectiveness is 97. 5%. The resultsdemonstrate that the mechanism of analgesia efficacy should be regulated the incoordinate uterine ac-tion and improve the hypertonic status of uterus, but also can decrease the pain threshold and elevatethe tolerance of uterine contractions during labor.
摘要:Thirty rats were randomly assigned to three groups, control group (10 cases), acute cerebral is-chemia group (10 cases) and electroacupuncture (EA) group (10 cases). The bilateral common carotidarteries were occluded, which caused sharp drop of regional cerebral blood flow and led acute cerebralischemia. Contents of nitric oxide (NO) and endothalin (ET) in the cerebral cortex and boold weredetermined in normal, during occluding and after EA of Du meridian (GV 20, GV 14) point in rats.It was found that in acute cerebral ischemia, the brain contents of NO and ET increased, the plasmelevel of ET elevated and serum level of NO decreased. After EA of Du meridian point, the levels of ETand NO in the brain and blood were returned significantly to normal. It is suggested that EA at Dumeridian have protective effect on neural damage induced by brain ischemia. NO and ET are possiblyinvolved in the regulative effect of EA.
摘要:Using the methods of in situ hybridization (ISHH), ISHH combined with immunocytochemistryABC and image processing, somatostatin (SOM) mRNA level and coexistence of SOM mRNA and 5-HT in the nucleus raphe dorsalis (RD) of rat were studied in the normal group, noxious stimulationgroup, simple electroacupuncture group and electroacupuncture analgesia group (EA).A number of oval and fusiform cells with a weak to moderate hybridization signals were mostlydistributed in dorsomedial subnucleus of RD and concentrated on rostral part. An increase of SOMmRNA positive cells could be seen in noxious stimulation group and simple electroacupuncture groupcomparing with the normal group. In EA group the number of SOM mRNA positive cells increasedmore than any other groups.A few SOM mRNA and 5-HT doubled cells could be seen in RD in the normal group. Most of thedoubled cells were distributed in ventromedial, lateral subnuclei of RD. Chmparing with the normalgroup, doubled cells increased in noxious and simple electroacupuncture group and increased signifi-cantly in EA group. The results suggest: (1) SOM takes part in modulation of pain. (2) SOM playsa role in EA. (3) Coexistence of SOM mRNA and 5-HT in RD suggests that SOM and 5-HT interactsynergically in EA.
摘要:The effects of SP on the electric activities of neurons of spinal dorsal horn and the influence of 5-HT, somatostat in (SOM ) on the effects of SP were observed in anesthet ized rats with multimicropipeteand iontophoresis techniques. It was found that. (1 ) The m icroiontop horetically administrating of SPcould increase spinal dorsal horn unit discharge. (2) The noxious electrical activity of neurons inducedby formalin could be inhibited by microiontophoretically applied SP. (3 ) The mi croiontophoretically ad -ministrating of 5-HT and SOM could inhibit the SP and formalin evoked unit discharge of neurons inspinal dorsal horn. It was suggested that SP took a double-effect part in modulation of pain transmissionand analgesia in spinal cord, 5-HT and SOM inhibited the effect of SP and participated in pain modula-tion of SP.
摘要:30 adult SD rats were divided into 3 groups: normal control goup, SRBC immune group (on 5thday after SRBC injection) and MSG(MSG injection at newborn stage) + SRBC group. The changes ofthe spontaneous firing rates of ventromedial hypothalamus (VMH) neurons and evoked responses byelectroacupuncture (EA) and locus coeruleus (LC) stimulation were recorded. The results were as fol-lows:(1)The spontaneous firing rate of VMH neurons was significant increase in the SRBC group. Thefiring rate in the MSG + SRBC group was higher than that in the control group, and lower than that inthe SRBC group. There were statistical differences between them. (2)EA can increase the firing ratesin all groups. The effect of EA was the most significant in the SRBC group, and more significant inthe MSG + SRBC group. (3)The firing type of most VMH neurons showed first excited then inhibitedbiphasic response following stimulation LC in the SRBC and the MSG + SRBC groups. EA showedsome increase in effect of the excited modulation from LC to VMH in the SRBC group. The results. suggest that VMH might be an important neuroendocrinal link in immunoresponse. EA can increasethe immune function of SRBC on VMH. LC and β-endorphine neurons of arcuate nucleus might partic-ipate in the EA-mediated immunoresponse.
摘要:This work showed that electroacupuncture(EA) could enhance the ability of mhltiple irnmune re-sponses in vehicle-treated animals. To study the role of primary sensory afferent C-fibers in the effectof EA on immume response, the experiments were performed on adult mice treated by capsaicin (cap)(50mg/kg) in neonate, cap is a tool drug selectively impairing afferent C-fibers. We found that thebasal levels of multiple immune responses were changed apparently, showing that except the serumIgG decreased, all the spleen weight, thymus weight, spleen PFC, LTT, IL-2 and hemoagglutinatingantibody titer elevated obviously in cap-treated mice as compared to that in vehicle control group.After the cap-treated mice were given EA, the levels of immune responses were found to be idehti-cal with cap-treated control group. The effects of EA-regulated immune response in vehicle-treatedmice could not be observed in the cap-treated mice. The results mentioned above indicated that the ef-fects of EA-regulated immune response were related to cap-sensitive afferent C-fibers.
摘要:Ultrastructural changes of synapses in the rat substantia gelationsa of the spinal caudal trigeminalnucleus were quantitatively examined following electrical acupuncture at "Sibai" for 30 minutes. Vari-ous structural changes were observed: Spherical synaptic vesicles were clustered toward the presynapticmembrane, the number of the vesicles tended to decrease, the. width of the postsynaptic membrane isincreased and mitochondria were also increased in the bouton. These various types of synaptic alter-ations related to boutons are interpreted as the morphological changes induced by the acupuncture inthe region corresponding to "Sibai".
摘要:Electroacupuncture could induce the convergence and degranulation of subcutaneous mast cells innupoints. After unilateral transection of sciatic nerve, we studied the numbers of subcutaneous mastcells and its degranulation in bilateral Zusanli and Xiajuxu acupoints with electroacupuncture in Zusan-li. We found that sciatic nerve transection could reduce the total numbers of mast cells and the degranu-lation numbers of mast cells in Zusanli. The results suggested peripheral nerves play an important rolein the convergence and degranulation of mast cells in acupoints by electroacupuncture induction.
摘要:The theory Of reinforcement and reduction with acupuncture is one of the important contents ofthe needling techniques in acupuncture. In order to verify the theory, experimental fever caused by ve-nous injection of E. Bacillus coll in rabbits were treated by acupuncture at Quchi(LI 11 ) with differentneedling methods (reinforcing or reducing) and stimulations (acupuncture or electroacupuncture). Theresults showed that each of the three reducing techniques with simple rotating of needle, rotation withliftingthrusting needle and electroacupuncture presented the fever-subduing effects, especially obtain-ing the immediate effect and lowering the peak of fever. Among them, the former two had the betterresult than electroacupuncture.The reinforcing technique with rotating needle did not give rise to thesignificant effect on lowering fever'The result indicates that there exist significant differences in the effect on fever-subduing betweenrein forcing and reducing methods with acupuncture and between acupuncture and electroacupuncture.The simple reducing needling technique share the same therapeutic result with compound one. Thework provides avaluable example for further laboratory study of reinforcing-reducing theory ofacupuncture.
摘要:In this paper, the experimental diabetic rats induced by streptozotocin (STZ, i. p. 50 mg/kg)were divided into three groups, electro-acupuncture (EA group, n = 8), transcutaneous electric nervestimulation (TENS group, n = 8), at bilateral Shenshu and Zusanli points for 20 minutes once every 2- 3 days for five weeks, and without any treatment (DM group, n = 6) respectively. As compared withthe DM group, the increased plasma glucose levels was lowered significantly in EA group (P< 0. 05)and slightly in TENS group(P >0. 05) by the end of the sixth week. And the symtoms of polyphagia,polydipsia and polyuria were attenuated in EA group. The motor nerve conduction velocity slowing wasprevented or corrected after a course of four and six weeks treatment in EA and TENS group respec-tively. In the DM and TENS groups the pain threshold was lowered at 6 - 20 days after injection ofSTZ, but elevated in EA group, their differences were of significance (P< 0. 05). In general, the effi-ciency of EA treatment on experimental diabetes and its neuropathy was better than that of TENStherapy.
摘要:Guinea pigs were acupunctured at "ZuSanli" (ST 36) with one direction twirling manipulationuntil an objective sensantion was felt by operator's hand. Frozen sections and scanning electromi-croscopic specimens were made from the whole guinea leg acupunctured and were observed under lightmicroscope and scanning electromicroscope respectively. In all specimens, a puncturing pore and differ-ent transformation of surrounding tissue were seen clearly. In hypodermis the connective tissue fiberscircling the puncturing pore appeared as whirly form. In muscle layer, the connective tissue fibers ofendomysium circled the pore and the relative muscle fiber were twisted and dislocated. Adjacent vesselsand nerves were' dislocated and transformed. It is infered that various needling sensative tissues andstructures were simultaneously stimulated by twirling needle force, with connective tissue being as me-diator, which is likely of the biological basis of needling sensation and ist complexity.
摘要:In this work we have observed the skin temperature of central line of the back and chest-abdomenon the human body truck by the infrared thermography. Here care the results: (a) 0f all the volun-teers, 57. 1 % central lines of 1he back and 7. 7 % central lines of the chest-abdomen of the volunteersare the longitudinal high thermal lines in normal state. (b) After moxibustion at Mingmen(GV 4)point, the temperature of 70. 4 % central lines of the back is going up. After moxibustion at Zhongwan(CV 12)point, the temperature of 56. 0 % central lines of the chest-abdomen is going up. The highthermal lines are longer and their continuity is hotter after moxibustion. (C) The lines on the backwhich are about 20 50 centimetres are longer than those on the chest-abdomen which are about 10 -30 centimetres. The results suggest that the high thermal lines are the objective display of the tempera-tu re character on the Governor and Conception vessel. The formation of high thermal line may havesome relationship with the cornpact connective tissue or microcirculation.
摘要:Giving electroacupuncture at unilateral "Biguan" and "Zusanli"points, we observed the rat subcu-taneous mast cells of "Tianshu", "Biguan", "Futu", "Zusanli"and "Xiajuxu" acupoints in bilateral Sta-mach Meridian. It was found that the numbers of mast cells in all the acupoints studied were higherthan that in the non acupoint area. The numbers of mast cell in acupoints were increased under elec-troacupuncture, while that in non acupoint area was not changed. The results suggested the mast cellsplay an important role in the functions of the Meridian.
