摘要:Objective To investigate the underlying mechanism of electroacupuncture(EA)in anti-apoptosis effects in cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury(CI/RI)rats.Methods Forty-eight SD rats were randomized into sham-operation(sham),model and acupuncture groups with 16 cases in each.CI/RI model was established by occlusion of the middle cerebral artery for 2 h and reperfusion for 24 h.Neuronal apoptosis and expression levels of the cerebral bcl-2 and caspase-3 after administration of EA(MS 6,MS 7)were detected by immunohistochemistry.Whole blood viscosity,erythrocyte deformability and erythrocyte agreeability in rats after local CI/RI were assayed by using Automatic Blood Rheometer.Results In comparison with control group,bcl-2 and caspase-3 immunoactivity of the ischemic cerebral tissue,high,medium and low shear rates,aggregation index and rigidity index of the erythrocytes in model group increased significantly(P<0.05),while the erythrocyte deformity index reduced strikingly(P<0.05).Compared with model group,bcl-2 immunoactivity and erythrocyte deformity of acupuncture group increased remarkably(P<0.05),and caspase-3 immunoactivity,high,medium and low shear rates of the whole blood viscosity,and erythrocyte aggregation index and rigidity index decreased considerably after acupuncture(P<0.05),suggesting an improvement of the erythrocyte deformability and agreeability after acupuncture.Conclusion Acupuncture can resist neuronal apoptosis during CI/RI,which may be closely associated with its effects in upregulating bcl-2 expression,downregulating caspase-3 expression.Moreover,acupuncture can significantly improve the erythrocyte deformability and reduce blood viscosity and erythrocyte agreeability.
摘要:Objective To observe the effect of electroacupuncture(EA)of acupoint recipe for "dredging Governor-Meridian,regulating vitality and strengthening the kidney" on learning-memory ability and pathological changes of cerebral minute blood vessels and hippocampal structure in hypertension-hyperlipmia-vascular dementia(HH-VD)rats.Methods Forty SD rats were randomly divided into sham-operation(sham)group(n=8),EA-Ⅰ group [n=8,EA of "Baihui"(GV 20),"Dazhui"(GV 14),"Pishu"(BL 20)and "Shenshu"(BL 23),80 Hz,1 mA,20 min/day,15 days],EA-Ⅱ group(n=8,EA of non-points,5 mm lateral to the abovementioned acupoints),medication group(n=8,intragastric perfusion of Nimotong,0.6 mg/mL,20 mL/kg,15 days),model group(n=8).HH-VD model was established by feeding the rat with high fat forage and by occlusion of the left renal artery and carotid artery.The animals' learning-memory ability was detected by Y-maze test,the synaptic structure of the hippocampal CA 1 region,and the pathological change of the cerebral cortex were observed by electronic microscope and light microscope,respectively.Results After modeling,the blood pressure,serum total cholesterol and triglyceride(TG)levels,and the error number(EN),total reaction time(TRT)and standard number(SN,number of paw-electric-stroke for reaching correct reactions)of Y maze test increased significantly in comparison with sham group(P<0.05).After EA,the EN,TRT and SN of EA-Ⅰ,EA-Ⅱ and medication groups decreased significantly in comparison with model group(P<0.01),suggesting a striking improvement of the learning-memory ability after the treatment,and the EN,TRT and SN of EA-Ⅰ group and medication group were significantly lower than those of EA-Ⅱ group(P<0.05).Under electronic microscope,the number of synapses in hippocampal CA 1 area of HH-VD model rats reduced obviously,its postsynaptic density(PSD)was lighter,and the synaptic vesicles were fewer.Whereas in comparison with EA-Ⅱ and medication groups,the synaptic number and density in EA-Ⅰ group were more and bigger,and the width,length and color of PSD increased clearly.The synaptic number of EA-Ⅱ group was relatively smaller compared with the other two treatment groups.Under light microscope,the vascular walls of the cerebral minute and small arteries of model group were obviously thickened and their lumina narrowed.While in EA-Ⅰ group,these pathological changes were mild.In medication group the thickening of vascular walls of partial cerebral minute and small arteries were also seen.Conclusion EA of acupoint recipe for "dredging Governor-Meridian,regulating vitality and strengthening the kidney" can improve pathological changes of the synaptic structure of hippocampal CA 1 region and the vascular walls of cerebral minute and small arteries,which may contribute to its function in improving the learning-memory ability in HH-VD rats.

摘要:Objective To observe the effect of electroacupuncture(EA)of different acupoint groups on the expression of NR 2 B subunit of N-methyl-D-aspartate(NMDA)receptor in the cervical spinal cord in rats with thyroid regional pain so as to analyze the analgesic mechanism of acupuncture for performing thyroid surgery.Methods A total of 50 Wistar rats were randomized into control,model,EA-Futu(ST 32),EA-Hegu(LI 4)-Neiguan(PC 6,EA-LI 4-PC 6),EA-Zusanli(ST 36)-Yanglingquan(GB 34,EA-ST 36-GB 34)groups,with 10 cases in each.Thyroid regional pain model was established by subcutaneous injection of 2.5% formaldehyde.Ten minutes after modeling,EA(2 Hz/100 Hz,1 mA)was applied to ST 32,LI 4-PC 6 and ST 36-GB 34 for 30 min respectively.The animals' face-grooming(FG)times and paw withdrawal latency(PWL)of radiant heat irradiation were recorded.The spinal cord tissues of the cervical 1-3 segments were removed for detecting the expression of NR 2 B mRNA and protein of NMDA receptor with reversed transcription-polymerase chain reaction and Western blotting techniques separately.Results After subcutaneous injection of 2.5% formaldehyde,the animals' FG times increased considerably and the PWL was shortened obviously(P<0.05).Compared with model group,the FG times of EA-ST 32 and EA-LI 4-PC 6 groups at 40-45 min and 70-75 min after modeling decreased significantly,and their PWL prolonged markedly(P<0.05).The effect of EA-ST 32 was apparently superior to that of EA-LI 4-PC 6 group in reducing FG times.No significant differences were found between EA-ST 32 and EA-LI 4-PC 6 groups in PWL,and between model and EA-ST 36-GB 34 groups(P>0.05).Results of NR 2 B mRNA and protein detections showed no significant differences among the 5 groups in their expression(P>0.05).Comparison of the phosphorylated NR 2 B among 5 groups showed that EA-ST 32 and EA-LI 4-PC 6 could effectively down-regulate 2.5% formaldehyde induced increase of NR 2 B phosphorylation levels(P<0.05),while EA-ST 36-GB 34 had no obvious effect on it(P>0.05).ConclusionBoth EA-ST 32 and EA-LI 4-PC 6 can significantly suppress thyroid regional pain induced behavior reactions,which may be closely associated with their effects in down-regulating NR 2 B phosphorylated level.The analgesic effect of EA-ST 32 and EA-LI 4-PC 6 for thyroid surgery is relatively more effective in comparison with EA-ST 36-GB 34.

摘要:Objective To observe the effects of acupuncture at acupoints and non-acupoints on the subcutaneous nitric oxide(NO)content and skin electric conduction quantity.Methods A total of 40 healthy volunteers(half males and half females at ages of 25-45 years)signed informed consent for detection of NO(n=20)contents and skin electric conduction quantity(electric current,EC,n=20)of the acupoint and non-acupoint area.The two series of 20 subjects were equally randomized into acupuncture group and non-acupuncture group,respectively.Jianshi(PC 5),Chengshan(BL 57)were punctured with filiform needles,with the needles twirled for 2 min and retained for 20 min.Dermal electric current were detected by using Dermatron(electrodermal screening device),and NO contents in the microdialysis fluid collected from the subcutaneous tissues of Ximen(PC 4),Chengjin(BL 56)and non-acupoints 1.01.5 cm lateral to PC 4 and BL 56 were detected by chemiluminescence technique.Results ① NO contents of PC 4,BL 56 and two non-acupoint regions in acupuncture group were all significantly higher than those of two acupoints and two non-acupoints in non-acupuncture group(P<0.05).In acupuncture group,the NO contents of both PC 4 and BL 56 were strikingly higher than those of two non-acupoints(P<0.05).In non-acupuncture group there were no significant differences between PC 4 and non-acupoint and between BL 56 and non-acupoint(P>0.05).② The skin electric current values of PC 4 and BL 56 were significantly higher than those of two corresponding non-acupoints in both acupuncture and non-acupuncture groups(P<0.05).Following acupuncture stimulation,an increasing tendency was found in the electric current in comparison with non-acupuncture group but without significance(P>0.05).Conclusion Acupuncture stimulation can upregulate dermal NO content and and the skin electric current of acupoint region was significantly higher than that of non-acupoint in healthy subjects,suggesting an increase of potential activity after acupuncture.

摘要:Objective To observe the effect of electroacupuncture(EA)of different acupoints on the expression of brain-derived neurotrophic factor(BDNF)and tropomyosine receptor kinase B(TrkB)in the spinal cord and the excitability of detrusor muscle of the uninary bladder in rats with urinary retention owing to spinal cord injury(SCI).Methods A total of 100 female SD rats were randomly divided into normal,sham-operation(sham),model,EA-Guanyuan(CV 4),and EA-Shuidao(ST 28)groups,with 20 cases in each.SCI induced urinary retention model was established by using weight dropping method.EA(1 mA,2 Hz/15 Hz)was applied to "Guanyuan"(CV 4)and "Shuidao"(ST 28)respectively for 20 min,once a day for 10 days.The excitability(tone,contraction frequency)of the detrusor muscle of the bladder was detected in vitro by using electrophysiological method,and the expression of BDNF and TrkB in spinal cord was determined by immunohistochemistry staining.Results In comparison with normal control and sham groups,the tension and the contraction frequency of detrusor muscle in model group lowered significantly(P<0.05),while compared with model group,both the tension and contraction frequency of detrusor muscle increased pronouncedly in EA-CV 4 and EA-ST 28 groups(P<0.05),and the effect of EA-CV 4 was apparently superior to that of EA-ST 28(P<0.05).In comparison with normal and sham groups,the BDNF and TrkB immunoreaction positive cells in the spinal cord were significantly more in model group(P<0.05).Compared with model group,those of EA-CV 4 and EA-ST 28 groups were obviously further increased(P<0.05),and the effect of EA-CV 4 group was markedly superior to that of EA-ST 28 group(P<0.05).Conclusion EA of CV 4 and ST 28 can raise the excitability of the smooth muscle of the uninary bladder in rats with SCI-induced urinary retention,which may be related to its effects in upregulating the expression of BDNF and TrkB in the spinal cord.The effects of EA of CV 4 were evidently superior to those of EA of ST 28.

摘要:Objective To observe the effect of electroacupuncture(EA)of different acupoints on blood pressure(BP),plasma angiotensin(Ang)Ⅱ,aldosterone(ALD)and atrial natriuretic peptide(ANP)of SHR,so as to observe the relative specificity of effects of acupoints.Methods A total of 60 SHR were randomly divided into model,Quchi(LI 11),Zusanli(ST 36),Shenmen(HT 7),Jianyu(LI 15)and non-acupoint groups,with 10 cases in each.Other 10 Wistar rats were composed of normal group.EA(2 Hz,2 mA)was applied to LI 11,ST 36,HT 7,LI 15 and non-acupoint for 30 min,followed by measuring BP with BP-6 system.Plasma AngⅡ,ALD and ANP contents were assayed by radioimmunoassay.Results Compared with control group and pre-treatment,both systolic pressure(SP)and diastolic pressure(DP)of Quchi(LI 11),Zusanli(ST 36)and Shenmen(HT 7)groups lowered significantly(P<0.05).No significant differences were found in the SP and DP of Jianyu(LI 15)and non-acupoint groups(P>0.05).After EA,the SP of Quchi(LI 11)and Shenmen(HT 7)groups were significantly lower than that of Jianyu(LI 15)and non-acupoint groups(P<0.05);and the DP of Quchi(LI 11),Zusanli(ST 36)and Shenmen(HT 7)groups were markedly lower than that of Jianyu(LI 15)and non-acupoint groups(P<0.05).Compared with normal group,the contents of plasma AngⅡ and ANP of model group decreased significantly,and plasma ALD level of model group increased remarkably(P<0.05).Compared with model group,plasma AngⅡ levels in Quchi(LI 11),Zusanli(ST 36)and Shenmen(HT 7)groups and ALD in Zusanli(ST 36)and Shenmen(HT 7)groups lowered significantly(P<0.05),and plasma ANP content in Shenmen(HT 7)group increased obviously(P<0.05).Conclusion EA of LI 11,HT 7 and ST 36 can effectively lowered both DP and SP in SHR,which may be closely related to its effects in regulating the contents of AngⅡ,ALD and ANP.

摘要:Objective To observe the effect of ginger-partitioned moxibustion in the treatment of patients with primary dysmenorrhea(PD)of cold-damp stagnation type.Methods A total of 209 PD patients were randomized into moxibustion group(n=105)and control group(medication group,n=104).Patients of the former group were treated with ginger-partitioned moxibustion at Shenque(CV 8)and Guanyuan(CV 4),once daily for 3 days in the first menstrual cycle,and 3 days before menstruation and once daily for 6 days in the 2nd and 3rd menstrual cycles,and those of control group were asked to take Yueyueshu Granules(a Chinese herbal patent drug for relieving PD).Clinical symptom scores were assessed before and after the treatment.Results After the treatment,of the 105 and 104 cases in the moxibustion and control groups,the cured,markedly effective,effective and failed cases were 58(55.24%)and 32(30.77%),37(35.24%)and 33(31.73%),5(4.76%)and 24(23.08%),and 5(4.76%)and 15(14.42%),respectively.The total therapeutic effect of moxibustion group was significantly better than that of control group(P<0.01).The effects of moxibustion for relieving mild,moderate and severe dysmenorrhea were evidently superior to those of medication(P<0.01).The symptom scores after the treatment and 3 months of post-treatment in moxibustion group were significantly lower than those of control group(P<0.01).Conclusion Ginger-partitioned moxibustion therapy was effective for PD of cold-damp stagnation type.
摘要:Objective To observe the efficacy of comined administration of acupuncture and anesthetics for mixed hemorrhoids surgery and its postoperative complications.Methods A total of 40 cases of mixed hemorrhoid patients were randomi-zed into acupuncture-assisted anesthesia(AAA)group and narcotic drug group(control),with 20 cases in each.For patients of AAA group,electroacupuncture(EA,2 Hz/100 Hz,9 mA)was applied to Changqiang(GV 1)and Yaoshu(GV 2)for 20 min,and 1% lidocaine(5 mL)was injected into GV 1.For patients of control group,20 mL and 10 mL of 1% lidocaine were injected into GV 2 and GV 1,separately.The patients' pain response,anus muscular relaxion state,and postoperative complications were observed to evaluate their clinical efficacy.Results Of the 20 cases in AAA and control groups,16 and 18 cases had a striking analgesic effect,4 and 2 were effective,respectively.No significant difference was found between two groups in the analgesic efficacy for surgery(P>0.05).Postoperative urinary retention,pain severity Ⅰ and Ⅱ and the cases with intoxic response in AAA and control groups were 1 and 8,16 and 6,4 and 14,and 1 and 9,separately.The effects of AAA group were significantly superior to those of control group in lessening urinary retention and toxication,and in inducing analgesia(P<0.05).Conclusion Acupuncture combined with narcotic drugs is superior to simple anesthetics for mixed hemorrhoids surgery in reducing postoperative complications.

摘要:Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of heat-reinforcing needling combined with modem rehabilitation training on the motor function of ischemic stroke patients.Methods Fifty cases of ischemic stroke patients were randomly divided into rehabilitation(Rehab,n=40)and acupuncture(Acup)+Rehab(n=40)groups.Heat-reinforcing needling was applied to Jianyu(LI 15),Quchi(LI 11),Hegu(LI 14),Zusanli(ST 36),Yanglingquan(GB 34),Yinlingquan(SP 9)and Sanyinjiao(SP 6),once daily for 3 weeks.Rehabilitation training including healthy limb and joint movement was conducted,once daily for 3 weeks.The patient's neurological impairment degree and the motor function(Fugl-Meyer index)were evaluated before and after the treatment.Results After the treatment,of the each 40 cases in Rehab and Acup+Rehab groups,10(25.0%)and 17(42.5%)experienced marked improvement in their symptoms,17(42.5%)and 18(45.0%)had improvement,13(32.5%)and 5(12.5%)failed,with the effective rates being 67.5% and 87.5% respectively.The therapeutic effect of Acup+Rehab group was markedly superior to that of Rehab group(P<0.05).Comparison between two groups showed no significant differences in the scores of clinical neurological impairment degree and the scores of Fugl-Meyer index before the treatment(P>0.05).After the treatment,the scores of neurological impairment degree of two groups both decreased significantly(P<0.05),and the scores of the Fugl-Meyer index of the upper and lower limbs increased significantly in two groups(P<0.05).The score of neurological impairment degree of Acup+Rehab group was significantly lower than that of Rehab group(P<0.05),while the scores of the Fugl-Meyer index of two limbs of Acup+Rehab group were obviously higher than those of Rehab group(P<0.01).Conclusion The therapy of heat-reinforcing needling combined with rehabilitation training is significantly superior to that of simple rehabilitation training in improving neurological impairment and motor function of ischemic stroke patients.

摘要:In the present paper,the authors compare the fits and unfit of different anesthetic methods for thyroid ablation and try to find a better one for it according to their own clinical practice and other scholars'experience.Results indicate that any anesthetic method has its own advantages and disadvantages,while compound acupuncture anesthesia for thyroid surgery is of prominent preponderance not only in the analgesic effect but also in fewer side-effects and less physiological interference.Thus,compound acupuncture anesthesia is a reliable and better anesthetic method for thyroid operation in clinic.
摘要:Clinical studies have shown that acupuncture therapy is effective for certain cardiovascular diseases,especially cardiac arrhythmia resulting from neural dysfunction.The therapeutic efficacy varies depending on types of diseases,acupoints stimulated and acupuncture manipulation(or electroacupuncture parameters).The mechanistic research shows that acupuncture signal initiated at the acupoints is transferred to the brain through afferent nervous pathway and thus modulates the function of neurotransmitter systems.Then,the output signaling cascades relieve the cardiovascular dysfunction through efferent neural regulation.There are also several lines of evidence suggesting that the acupuncture effects involve complex mechanisms at multiple levels,including intracellular signal transduction,gene expression,endocrine secretion,humoral and dielectric regulation.Therefore,the acupuncture effects on cardiovascular disorders are dependent on an integrated mechanism mediated by multiple factors at central and peripheral levels.However,the detail of the mechanism is largely unclear yet.The potential problems in the literature are briefly discussed in this review.

摘要:Objective To assess the effectiveness of acupuncture treatment of chronic fatigue syndrome(CFS).Methods According to the requirement of evidence-based medicine,CFS,fatigue syndrome,acupuncture and moxibustion,acupuncture,electroacupuncture,auricular acupuncture,auricular pellet pressure,plum-blossom needle,intradermal needle,moxibustion,three edged needle,cupping,cup-moving,acupoint injection,etc.were selected as the subject words for retrieving the related papers form domestic and foreign medical databases.The RCT was used as the enrolled criteria,and the clinical cure rate,markedly effective rate,total effective rate,and the scores of the Fatigue Assessment Instrument Questionnaire(FAI)and fatigue scale(FS)were used as the assessment indexes.The statistical package(RevMan 4.2)was used to review management and analysis of 13 papers.Results A total of 28 papers were enrolled.Logistic regression analysis showed that the total odds ratio(OR)was 4.56,with 95% confidence interval(CI)[2.84,7.33] for the total effective rate in 10 studies,the total OR was 2.07 with 95% CI [1.49,2.88] for the markedly effective rate in 8 studies,and the total OR was 2.51 with 95% CI [1.64,3.85] for the clinical cure rate in 8 studies.The weighted mean difference(WMD)was-29.52 with 95% CI [-36.17,-22.88] for the FAI score in 3 studies,and the WMD-1.22 with 95% CI [-1.77,-0.67] for the FS score in 4 studies.The therapeutic effect in the treatment group of CFS was superior to that in the control group(P<0.01).Conclusion Acupuncture therapy is effective for CFS,but still needs being confirmed by more high-quality studies.
