摘要:Objective To observe the effect of electroacupuncture(EA) of "Guanyuan"(CV 4) and bilateral "Housanli"(ST 36) plus acupuncture stimulation of "Baihui"(GV 20) [an acupoint recipe for "Shuanggu Yitong"(strengthening both congenital foundation and the acquired constitution and regulating the yang-qi of the body] on the anti-fatigue ability and liver mitochondrial respiratory function in yang-deficiency ageing rats.Methods A total of 48 male SD rats were equally and randomly divided into normal control,model,EA and EA control groups.The aged yang-deficiency model was established by subcutaneous injection of D-galactose(125 mg/kg,once daily for 40 days) and sequential muscular injection of hydrocortisone(1.5 mg/100 g,once daily for 7 days).For rats of the normal control group,subcutaneous injection of same dose of normal saline was gi-ven.EA stimulation(2 Hz,1 mA) of "Guanyuan"(CV 4) and bilateral "Housanli"(ST 36) and manual acupuncture stimulation of "Baihui"(GV 20) were given to rats of the EA group.For rats of the EA control group,EA of "Zhongji"(CV 3) and bilateral "Yinlinquan"(SP 9),and manual acupuncture stimulation of "Yintang"(EX-HN 3) were given.The treatment was conducted once daily,6 time a week and continuously for 4 weeks.Rats of the normal control and model groups were grabbed and fixed in the same way.The anti-fatigue ability was evaluated by using the time of exhausted swimming task and liver mitochondrial respiratory function was detected by Clark oxygen electrode.Results In comparison with the normal control group,the exhausted swimming time was significantly shortened in the model group(P<0.01).Compared with the model group,the exhausted swimming time was evidently prolonged in the EA group(P<0.01) not in the EA control group(P>0.05).As for the liver mitochondrial respi-ratory function,the oxygen consumption rate Ⅳ was obviously higher in the model group than in the normal control group(P<0.01),and significantly lower in the EA group than in the model group(P<0.01).Both liver mitochondrial respiratory control rate(RCR) and ratio of phospho-rus/oxgen(P/O) were significantly lower in the model group than in the normal control group(P<0.01),and considerably higher in the EA group than in the model group(P<0.01,P<0.05).Comparison between the EA and EA control groups showed that the effects of the former group were evidently superior to those of the latter group in prolonging the exhausted swimming time,lo-wering oxygen consumption rate Ⅳ and upregulating RCR and P/O(P<0.05).Conclusion Electroacupuncture of CV 4 and ST 36 plus manual acupuncture stimulation of GV 20 can improve the anti-fatigue capability in aging rats with yang-deficiency,which may be related to its effects in reducing liver mitochondrial oxygen consumption and increasing liver mitochondrial RCR and ratio of P/O.

摘要:Objective To observe the effect of electroacupuncture(EA) intervention on expression of Slit 2 and its transmembrane receptor Robo 1 in the cortex tissue of cerebral infarction rats so as to study its mechanism underlying improvement of cerebral ischemia.Methods Ninety male Sprague Dawley rats were randomly divided into control group(n=10),model group(n=40) and EA group(n=40),and the latter two groups were further randomized into four subgroups: 1 d,3 d,7 d,and 14 d(n=10 in each subgroup) according to the cerebral ischemia duration.Cerebral infarction model was established by occlusion of the middle cerebral artery(MCAO).EA(80-100 Hz,1-3 mA) was applied to bilateral "Neiguan"(PC 6) and "Zusanli"(ST 36) for 30 min,once daily for 1 d,3 d,7 d,and 14 d,respectively.The animals' neurological defect was assessed using Zea-Longa scoring.The expression of Slit 2 and Robo 1 proteins in the cerebral cortex on the ischemic side was assayed using immunohistochemistry and Western blotting,respectively.Results In comparison with the control group,the neurological score was significantly higher in the model group(P<0.05),and reduced considerably on day 7 and 14 after MCAO in the EA group compared with the model group(P<0.05).Immunohistochemical results showed that in comparison with the control group,the immunoactivity levels of cerebral Slit 2 and Robo 1 were remarkably upregulated on day 1,3 and 7 after MCAO in the model group(P<0.05,P<0.01),and backed to the control levels on day 14(P>0.05).While compared with the model group,the immunoactivity levels of cerebral Slit 2 and Robo 1 were further obviously upregulated on day 1,3,7 and 14 after cerebral ischemia in the EA group(P<0.05,P<0.01).The results of Western blotting about the expression levels of cerebral Slit 2 and Robo 1 proteins were nearly the same to those of immunohistochemical outcomes in the 4 subgroups apart from that the expression levels of both Slit 2 and Robo 1 proteins were still obviously higher on day 14 after MCAO in the model group(P<0.01).Conclusion EA intervention can significantly improve cerebral ischemia rats' neurological function and obviously upregulate the expression of cerebral Slit 2 and Robo 1 proteins,which may be one of the mechanisms of EA therapy for relieving cerebral infarction in clinic.
摘要:Objective To observe the effect of electroacupuncture(EA) of "Baihui"(GV 20) and left "Hegu"(LI 4)-"Taichong"(LR 3) on levels of hippocampal IL-1β content and I kappa B kinase(IKK) β protein in focal cerebral ischemia/reperfusion(CI/R) injury rats so as to reveal its mechanism underlying improvement of cerebral ischemia.Methods One hundred and ninety-eight male SD rats were randomly divided into sham group(n=54),model group(n=72) and EA group(n=72) which were further randomized into 12 h,24 h and 48 h subgroups according to the duration of CI/R.The focal CI/R injury model was established by middle cerebral artery occlusion(MCAO) and reperfusion.EA(1 mA,2 Hz/100 Hz) was applied to "Baihui"(GV 20) and the left "Hegu"(LI 4)-"Taichong"(LR 3) for 20 min,once every 12 h.The level of IL-1β content in the right hippocampus tissue was detected by ELISA and the expression levels of hippocampal IKKβ protein were detected by immunohistoche-mistry and Western blot,respectively.Results Compared with the 3 subgroups of the sham group,the levels of hippocampal IL-1β contents at time-points of 12 h,24 h and 48 h after MCAO were significantly increased in the model group(P<0.01).In comparison with the model group,the contents of hippocampal IL-1β at the 3 corresponding time-points in the EA group were significantly reduced(P<0.01).The expression levels of hippocampal IKKβ protein at the 3 time-points after MCAO shown by immunohistochemistry and Western blot analysis were significantly higher in the model group than in the sham group(P<0.05),and considerably lower in the EA group than in the model group(P<0.05).Conclusion EA of GV 20 and LI 4-LR 3 can obviously reduce CI/R injury induced increase of IL-1β content and IKKβ expression level in the hippocampus,which may be responsible for its effect in alleviating cerebral infarction by reducing inflammatory injury in the hippocampus.

摘要:Objective To observe the influence of electroacupuncture(EA) on serum ghrelin content and bone mineral density in ovariectomized(OVX) rats so as to explore its mechanism underlying improvement of postmenopausal osteoporosis.Methods Thirty ovariectomized SD rats with osteoporosis were randomized into model,EA and estrogen groups(n=10) and other 10 rats received sham operation were assigned to be control group.For OVX rats of the EA group,EA(2 Hz,1-3 mA) was applied to "Sanyinjiao"(SP 6) + "Guanyuan"(CV 4) or "Shenshu"(BL 23) + "Housanli"(ST 36),alternately for 20 min,once daily for consecutive 3 months.For rats of the estrogen group,subcutaneous injection of estradiol benzoate(0.1 mg/kg) was given once a week for 3 months.The bone mineral density(BMD) of the lumbar vertebrae and femur were detected by using a bone densitometer,and serum ghrelin content was assayed by ELISA.Results In comparison with the sham operation group,serum ghrelin level of the model group was significantly increased,and BMD of both lumbar vertebrae and femur were significantly decreased(P<0.05).Compared with the model group,the serum ghrelin levels were considerably decreased in both EA group and estrogen group,while BMD levels were significantly upregulated in the EA and estrogen groups(P<0.05).The effects of the EA group were obviously inferior to those of the estrogen group(P<0.05).Conclusion Acupuncture intervention can improve bone density and lower serum ghrelin level in OVX rats,which may contribute to its effect in improving osteoporosis.

摘要:Objective To observe the effect of electroacupuncture(EA) stimulation of "Zhongchong"(PC 9) and "Yongquan"(KI 1) on P 300 of event-related potentials(ERPs) in rats with vascular dementia.Methods A total of 48 Wistar rats were randomly divided into sham group(n=12),model group(n=12),EA group(n=12) and medication group(n=12).Vascular dementia model was established by occlusion of the bilateral vertebral arteries and cervical arteries.EA(1-2 mA,2 Hz/20 Hz) was applied to bilateral "Zhongchong"(PC 9) and "Yongquan"(KI 1) for 15 min,once daily for 28 days.Rats of the medication group were treated by intragastric perfusion of Nimodipine(12 mg/kg),twice daily for 28 days.The rats' learning-memory ability was detected by step-down passive and active avoidance tests,and P 300 of ERPs detected by Neuroscan Nuamps system.Results Compared with the sham group,the reaction time and error times of learning performance and error times of memory performance as well as P 300 latency in the model group were significantly increased(P<0.01),and the latency of memory performance and the amplitude of P 300 were markedly decreased in the model group(P<0.01).While in comparison with the model group,the reaction time and error times of learning performance,and the error times of memory performance as well as P 300 latencies were obviously decreased in both EA and medication groups(P<0.01),and the latencies of memory performance and P 300 amplitudes were evidently increased in the EA and medication groups(P<0.01).No significant differences were found between the EA and medication groups in these 6 indexes(P>0.05).Conclusion EA of PC 9 and KI 1 can significantly improve the ability of learning and memory and the latency and amplitude of P 300 in rats with vascular dementia.
摘要:Objective To observe the effect of electroacupuncture(EA) on the expression of blood-brain barrier(BBB)-related functional protein,ATP-binding cassette protein and gene in the cerebral cortex of depression rats.Methods Forty SD rats were equally and randomly divided into control group,EA group,depressive(model) group and depression+EA group.The depression model was established by chronic unpredictable mild stress.EA(2 Hz,1 mA) was applied to "Baihui"(GV 20) and "Yamen"(GV 15) for 20 min,once daily for 14 days.The expression levels of multidrug resistance(Mdr)1a,Mdr 1b,multidrug resistance-associated protein(Mrp)1,Mrp 4,Mrp 5,and breast cancer resistance protein(Bcrp) gene and proteins in the cerebral cortex tissue were detected by RT-PCR semi-quantitative analysis and Western blot,respectively.Results In comparison with the control group,no obvious changes were found in the expression levels of cerebral Mdr 1a,Mdr 1b,Mrp 1,Mrp 4,Mrp 5 and Bcrp genes and proteins in the model group(P>0.05),and only cerebral Mdr 1a gene and protein expression levels in the EA group were evidently down-regulated(P<0.01,P<0.05).Compared with the model group,only cerebral Mdr 1a gene and protein expression levels were obviously decreased in the depression+EA group(P<0.01,P<0.05).No significant changes were found in the Mdr 1b,Mrp 1,Mrp 4,Mrp 5 and Bcrp genes and proteins after EA intervention in depression rats(P>0.05).Conclusion EA of GV 20 and GV 15 can obviously down-regulate the expression of cerebral Mdr 1a in depression rats which might be involved in the opening activity of blood-brain barrier.
摘要:Objective To observe the effect of acupuncture of "Zusanli" and "Zhongwan"(CV 12,front Mu-acupoint) on the expression of hypothalamic gonadotropin-releasing hormone(GnRH) mRNA and SP mRNA in stress-induced gastric ulcer(GU) rats.Methods Sixty male Wistar rats were randomly divided into normal control group,simple bundling group,GU model group,CV 12 group,ST 36 group and CV 12+ST 36(Ho-and front Mu-acupoint combination) group,with 10 cases in each group.GU model was established by binding the rat's four limbs to an animal board and to immerse it to cool water for 24 h.Manual acupuncture stimulation was applied to CV 12,bilateral ST 36 or CV 12+ST 36 for 20 min,once daily for 2 days.The GU index was evaluated by using Guth's method(1979).GnRH mRNA and SP mRNA expression of the hypothalamus tissue was detected by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR).Results Compared with the normal group,the GU index values in the simple bundling group and the model group were significantly higher(P<0.01);while in comparison with the model group,the GU index values were significantly decreased in the CV 12,ST 36 and CV 12+ST 36 groups(P<0.05,P<0.01).Following stress stimulation,hypothalamic GnRH mRNA expression levels in the simple bundling group and the model group were remarkably increased(P<0.05,P<0.01),whereas those of hypothalamic SP mRNA expression had no apparent changes in these two groups(P>0.05).After manual acupuncture intervention,hypothalamic GnRH mRNA expression levels in the CV 12,ST 36 and CV 12+ST 36 groups were evidently down-regulated and SP mRNA expression levels in the ST 36 and CV 12+ST 36 groups were remarkably upregulated in comparison with the model group(P<0.01).No significant differences were found between the CV 12 and ST 36 groups in the GU index,among the CV 12,ST 36 and CV 12+ST 36 groups in GnRH mRNA expression,and between the CV 12 and model groups in the expression levels of SP mRNA(P>0.05).Conclusion Acupuncture of CV 12 and ST 36 can relieve stress-induced gastric ulcer in the rat,which is closely with its effect in down-regulating hypothalamic GnRH mRNA expression.
摘要:Objective To observe the influence of different acupuncture manipulations at Zusanli(ST 36) on blood perfusion of skin microcirculation in healthy volunteer subjects.Methods A total of 10 healthy volunteers were recruited in the present study.Acupuncture manipulations of lifting-thrusting reinforcing and reducing,uniform reinforcing-reducing,and simple needle insertion were applied to right Zusanli(ST 36) for 2 min.Changes of blood perfusion in the right Zusanli(ST 36) area were detected 1 min,5 min,10 min,15 min,20 min,25 min and 30 min after acupuncture stimulation,respectively by using a Pericam Perfusion Speckle Imager.The interval between two detections for different needling manipulations was 2 days at least.Results In comparison with pre-acupuncture stimulation,the blood perfusion levels of the skin microcirculation around the right Zusanli(ST 36) region were significantly increased from 1 min to 10 min following simple needle insertion,from 5 min to 30 min after uniform reinforcing-reducing manipulation,from 1 min to 30 min after reinforcing manipulation,and from 1 min to 25 min following reducing manipulation,respectively(P<0.05,P<0.01),and the effects of reinforcing manipulation were apparently superior to those of the reducing,uniform reinforcing-reducing manipulations and simple needle insertion in upregulating blood perfusion level(P<0.05,P<0.01).Conclusion Lifting-thrusting reinforcing,reducing,uniform reinforcing-reducing manipulations of acupuncture needle,and simple needle insertion at Zusanli(ST 36) can obviously increase blood perfusion level in normal volunteer subjects,and the effect of reinforcing manipulation is apparently better.
摘要:Objective To observe clinical effect,feasibility and security of preconditioning of thermopaste application at Shenque(CV 8) for relieving stretch reflex induced by procedure for prolapse and hemorrhoids(PPH).Methods A total of 100 cases of mixed hemorrhoids(stage Ⅲ and Ⅳ) patients were randomized into 1.0 h,0.5 h,0 h and control(no application) groups(n=25 in each group) according to a random number table.Thermopaste was applied to Shenque(CV 8) 1.0 h and 0.5 h before PPH or conducted simultaneously with PPH.The mean arterial pressure,heart rate,blood oxygen saturation of patients before and after anastomose operation,and the incidence of adverse reactions within 24 hours after the procedure were monitored and recorded.The patient's pain degree was assessed by using visual analogue scale.Results After the preconditioning,of the 25 patients in the 0.5 h group(0.5 h G),14 experienced marked improvement(in the stretch reflex during PPH),10 had an improvement,and 1 was invalid,respectively.The markedly effective rate and the total effective rate were 56% and 96%,respectively.The therapeutic effects for inhibiting stretch reflect being from the better to the poorer were 0.5 h G>1.0 h G>0 h G>NG.The heart rate and blood pressure from more stable to lesser stable were 0.5 h G>1.0 h G>0 h G>NG.The patients' pain reaction during operation and their adverse effects of nausea,vomiting,abdominal distention and abdominal pain,etc.occurred during operation also presented the same tendency in the 4 groups.Conclusion Thermopaste application to Shenque(CV 8) can effectively prevent and control visceral reflex in patients undergoing PPH,which effect is significantly better when conducted 0.5 hour before the operation.

摘要:Objective To observe the synchronism difference of brain region activities in response to acupuncture stimulation of Zusanli(ST 36) in healthy volunteer subjects with different acupuncture analgesia sensitivity,so as to study the central factors influencing acupuncture intervention outcomes.Methods Forty-five healthy volunteer subjects with different constitutions(different sensitivities in response to needling stimulation) were divided into insensitive group,normal group and sensitive group(n=15).The pressure pain threshold(PPT) of the Zusanli(ST 36) region before and after acupuncture stimulation of ST 36 was assessed using visual analog scale(VAS).Two weeks later after acupuncture stimulation of ST 36,resting-state fMRI images were acquired by using a nuclear magnetic resonance imaging system and analyzed by using DPARSFV 2.1 software package,software SPM 8 and REST 1.7.The cerebral regional homogeneity(ReHo) of the subjects was then calculated by Resting-State fMRI Data Analysis Toolkit(REST).Results Compared with pre-acupuncture,PPT levels of the normal and sensitive groups were significantly increased after acupuncture of ST 36(P<0.05),and that of the insensitive group had no significant change(P>0.05).Following acupuncture stimulation of ST 36,the insensitive group only showed a significant decreased ReHo in the left fusiform gyrus,left inferior temporal gyrus,bilateral postcentral gyrus,and left anterior central gyrus.In the normal group,a significantly increased ReHo was found in left brainstem,the right cerebellum posterior lobe,right parahippocampa gyrus,right fusiform gyrus,left angular gyrus,temporal lobe and the left frontal lobe;and a significantly decreased ReHo in the occipital lobes and the right superior temporal gyrus after acupuncture stimulation of ST 36.In the sensitive group,a markedly increased ReHo was found in the left brainstem,bilateral cerebellum posterior lobes,left inferior temporal gyrus,basal ganglia,the left insular lobe,anterior cingutate,frontal lobe,inferior parietal lobule,and the right supplementary motor area,and an obviously decreased ReHo found in the bilateral occipital lobes,fusiform gyrus,posterior central gyrus,the right posterior cingutate,the left temporal lobe and the left paracentral lobule,etc.after acupuncture of ST 36.Conclusion Constitution-associated needling sensation may be an important influential factor for acupuncture analgesia in normal subjects.The change of ReHo in different cerebral areas is probably responsible for the difference of acupuncture analgesia in different constitution people.
摘要:Objective To compare the efficacy differences between acupuncture-moxibustion and physiotherapy interventions in improving proprioception of athletes with lateral collateral ligament injury of the ankle joint.Methods Thirty patients with injured lateral collateral ligament of ankle joint were randomly divided into acupuncture group(n=15) and physiotherapy group(n=15).Patients of the acupuncture group were treated by acupuncture and moxibustion stimulation of Qiuxu(GB 40),Kunlun(BL 60),Shenmai(BL 62),Jiexi(ST 41),and Ashi-points,etc.,and those of the physiotherapy group treated with TDP irradia-tion of the regional lateral malleolus.The treatment of the two groups was conducted once the other day,3 times each week,continuously for 8 weeks.Before and after the treatment,the ankle-joint's active and passive repositioning error angles were mea-sured by using a joint angle ruler.Results The average error angle values of active and passive reposition tests of the injured ankle-joint were 4.98±1.11 and 4.78±1.13 before the treatment,and 3.67±0.58 and 3.51±0.64 after the treatment,respectively in the acupuncture group,being reduced significantly after the treatment(both P<0.01).No significant changes of the average error angle values of both active and passive reposition tests of the ankle-joint were found after the treatment in the phy-siotherapy group(P>0.05).Comparison between two groups showed that the average error angle,average active and passive reposition angles of the injured ankle in the acupuncture group were evidently lower than those in the physiotherapy group(P<0.01).Conclusion Acupuncture and moxibustion can effectively improve the proprioception of the injured lateral collate-ral ligament of the ankle joint in athletes,which is superior to conventional physiotherapy in the therapeutic effect.

摘要:Objective To analyze the effectiveness of acupoint application therapy for infantile diarrhea so as to provide an objective evidence for clinical decision making.Methods The authors of the present paper did a literature retrieval using The China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI) database,Chinese bio-medical database and Wanfang database covering the period of January 1,1990-June 30,2012,and made a systemic evaluation on the retrieved randomized controlled clinical trials(RCTs) of acupoint application therapy for infantile diarrhea using Cochrane system evaluation method.Following excluding the repetitive,irrelevant and non-randomized controlled trials,those meeting the standards of randomized controlled trials were collec-ted.Trial quality was assessed using the Jadad score which evaluates the randomization process,blinding,and the description of withdrawals or dropouts.The RevMan 5.1 software was used to make statistical analysis.Results A total of 16 papers(2 151 patients) were included in the Meta analysis.The homogeneity test was better(χ2=8.09,P=0.92,I2=0%),displaying a homogenicity of most studies.Meta analysis showed the merger effect quantity odds ratio(OR)=4.68,and 95% confidence intervals(CIs):3.41,6.42,and the merger effect value test Z=9.58,P<0.00001.Statistical difference indicates a better therapeutic effect of acupoint application group than the control group,providing evidence in favor of acupoint application therapy for infantile diarrhea.Funnel chart displays that the researched object distribution is symmetric,being smaller in the bias.But the potential publication bias still possibly exists.Conclusion Acupoint application therapy for infantile diarrhea has some advantages,which needs further confirmation due to lower quality of the collected literatures.Larger sample,high quality and randomized controlled clinical trials are highly recommended.
摘要:After searching for literature about the specificity of acupoints from China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI) database(in Chinese) and MEDLINE(in English),published by Chinese scholars from June 2003 to June 2012,the authors made a systemic analysis on the retrieved papers.It was found that most Chinese scholars took a positive viewpoint about the specificity of acupoints in morphological structure,biophysical characters,pathological reactions,acupuncture stimulation-induced responses in different brain regions and therapeutic effects.However,the research methods and comprehensive analysis of abundant research results need being improved,and the conclusion should be validated extensively.Moreover,the research on the affecting factors of specificity of acupoints will be one of the major directions.

摘要:The regulative effect of acu-moxibustion on functional activities of the body involves a complex network.Acupoints,the sensors and amplifiers of acupuncture and moxibustion stimulation signals,play an important role in triggering the coo-perative performance of the complex network system.The authors of the present paper make a comprehensive discussion about the interrelationship of the nervous structure,mast cells,calcium ion,relevant chemical substances(SP,histamine,5-HT,ATP,endogenous opioid peptides,etc.),different key nodal joints of the regulative networks for acu-moxibustion intervention,trying to interpret the underlying mechanism of acu-moxibustion as a whole.
摘要:Researches on the specificity of acupoints need a contrast of non-acupoint.However,there have been no uniform standards for locating the non-acupoint in both human body and animals.In the present paper,the authors make a review about the methods for locating the non-acupoint in rats during acupuncture experiments in recent decade.Till now,four methods were frequently used,i.e.,1) selecting a spot beside the known acupoint at the same level,2) selecting the mid point between two meridian running courses,3) choosing a spot at the tail,and 4) choosing a spot below the costal region.The authors hold that of the 4 methods,the last one,i.e.,taking the spot below the costal region as the non-acupoint is probably the most reasonable approach,if it is far from the observed acupoint,and on the same or the adjacent spinal nerve segment.
摘要:Objective To analyze the real-time effects of electroacupuncture(EA) stimulation by means of multiport network theory and measurement of the electric signals transfer coefficient,so as to explore a way for determining the running course of acupuncture meridian and for characterizing its physiological activities in the living body.Methods The body was modeled as a complex inhomogeneous 3-dimensions multi-port network,and the meridians were assumed to be "the most smoothly channels for signal transmission".Experiments were performed in 12 beheaded toads whose forelimbs and hindlimbs were divided into proportional coordinates.A concentric electrode with a conical tip was inserted into the toad leg for electrical stimulation of the local muscle,and another electrode alike was inserted into different spots of the limbs to detect the spreading signals in a 3-dimensional scanning mode.Following detecting the response electric voltage values of various spots and calculating their transfer coefficients,the spots which acquired a maximum signal value were considered to be the "acupoints".The imaginary connective lines passing the "acupoints" were regarded as the running courses of acupuncture meridians.Results A total of twelve 3-dimensional curves were detected based on the connected lines of electric signal transfer function extremum spots 2 mm beneath the skin of the ipsilateral fore-and hind-limbs of 12 spinal toads.Conclusion The present study initially validates the feasibility of electric signal transfer coefficient measurement for displaying the running course of acupuncture meridian in the toad fore-and hind-limbs.
