摘要:Objective To observe the effect of electroacupuncture(EA)stimulation of"Neiguan"(PC 6)-"Jianshi"(PC 7)on ischemic myocardial injury in myocardial ischemic(MI)rats,so as to explore its mechanism underlying improvement of MI.Methods A total of 48 male Wistar rats were randomly divided into normal,MI model,PC 6-PC 7,Sanyinjiao-Diji(SP 6-SP 8)groups(n=8in each group for physiological experiments,n=4in each group for immunoflorescence stain).The MI model was established by occlusion of the anterior descending branch of the left coronary artery.Electrocardiogram(ECG)of the neckthoracic lead was recorded and the heart rate variability(HRV)analyzed by using aphysiological signal collecting system(MP 150)and PowerLab software.EA(2Hz/15 Hz,0.5mA)was applied to bilateral PC 6-PC 7or SP 6-SP 8for 30 min every time,on the 1,2,3day after modeling.Serum creatine kinase-MB isoenzyme(CK-MB)and lactate dehydrogenase-1(LDH 1)and endothelin(ET)contents were assayed by ELISA.The expression of choline acetyltransferase(ChAT)and vesicular acetylcholine transporter(VAChT)and c-fos proteins in the nucleus ambiguus(NA)region of the medulla oblongata was detected by immunofluorescence stain.Results Compared with the normal group,the ECG J-point height(1h),serum CK-MB,LDH 1and ET contents(1dand 3d),HR(1hand 1d)and LF/HF levels of HRV(1h,1dand 3d)and the number of c-fos positive neurons(3d)in the NA region were significantly increased in the model group(P<0.01,P<0.05),while HF levels(1h,1dand 3d)and ECG J-point height(1dand 3d)were considerably decreased after MI.After EA intervention,the ECG J-point height 3dafter MI was close to zero in both PC 6-PC 7and SP 6-SP 8groups,being better than that(negative value)of the model group,and serum CKMB,LDH 1and ET contents(1d,3d)of both EA groups,and HR(1d)and LF/HF(3d)of the PC 6-PC 7group were obviously down-regulated(P<0.01,P<0.05),and the decreased HF 3dpost-MI and the increased number of c-fos positive neurons were significantly up-regulated in the PC 6-PC 7group(P<0.01).No significant differences were found between the two EA groups in raising J-point height and in down-regulating serum CK-MB,LDH 1and ET contents(P>0.05).Compared with the model group,no significant changes were found in HR 1dpost-MI of the SP 6-SP 8group,3dpost-MI of both EA groups,in HF3dpost-MI of the SP 6-SP 8group,in LF/HF 1dpost-MI of both EA groups and 3dpost-MI of the SP 6-SP 8group,in the number of c-fos positive neurons of the SP 6-SP 8group,and ChAT and VAChT positive neurons of both EA groups(P>0.05).Conclusion EA intervention may improve ischemic myocardial injury in MI rats,probably by activating neurons in the NA region,and enhancing the cardiac parasympathetic tension,and balancing cardiac sympathetic/parasympathetic nerve activities,but the effect of cholinergic neurons of NA needs being studied further.
摘要:Objective To observe the effect of electroacupuncture(EA)of"Zusanli"(ST 36)on myocardium ischemic damage following intestinal ischemia-reperfusion(I/R)in rats.Methods Thirty SD rats were randomly divided into five groups:sham,I/R-1h,I/R-4h,EA-I/R-1hand EA-I/R-4h(n=6in each group).The intestinal I/R model was established by occlusion of the superior mesenteric artery.EA(2Hz/100 Hz,2-3mA)was applied to bilateral ST 36 for 30min.In rats of the sham group,only the stomach was opened.Plasma dopamine(DA)and tumor necrosis factor(TNF)-αcontents,and myocardial myeloperoxidase(MPO)activity and methane dicarboxylic aldehyde(MDA)content were assayed using ELISA,and plasma creastine kinase isoenzyme(CK-MB)and lactate dehydrogenese(LDH)activities were detected using a fully biochemical analyser.Myocardial pathological changes were observed under microscope after H.E.staining.Results Compared with the sham group,plasma DA content was significantly decreased in both I/R-1hand I/R-4hgroups,while plasma TNF-αcontent and CK-MB and LDH activities,and myocardial MPO activity and MDA content in both I/R-1hand I/R-4hgroups were obviously increased(P<0.05).After EA,the decreased plasma DA and the increased plasma TNF-αcontents and the increased plasma CK-MB and LDH and myocardial MPO activities and MDA contents in the EA-I/R-1hand EA-I/R-4hgroups were reversed(P<0.05).The inhibitory rates of EA on myocardial MDA content and MPO activity were 9% and 13%in the EA-I/R-1hgroup and 30% and 15%in the EA-I/R-4hgroup,respectively,suggesting a better protective effect of EA intervention on myocardium in the EA-I/R-4h group.Conclusion EA of ST 36 has a better protective action on myocardium in intestinal I/R injury rats,which may be related to its effects in up-regulating plasma DA level and down-regulating circulating pro-inflammatory factor TNF-αcontent,and reducing myocardial oxygen free radicals.
摘要:Objective To observe the influence of Electroacupuncture(EA)stimulation of different distal-proximal acupoints combination groups on pain reaction,spinal p 38mitogen-activated protein kinase(p 38MAPK)expression and cyclic adenosine 3',5'-monophosphate(cAMP)content in experimental lumbago rats.Methods Seventy-eight male SD rats were randomized into normal,model,sham operation,EX-B 2-BL 25(proximal acupoints,PA),BL 40-BL 60(distal acupoints,DA)and DA+PA groups.The lumbago model was established by implanting the autologous nucleus pulposus to the site close to the left L 5dorsal root ganglion and the surface of dura mate of spinal cord.EA(2Hz/100 HZ,1-3mA)was applied at bilateral EX-B 2-BL 25 or BL 40-BL 60 or both for 20 minutes,once daily for 7days.The mechanical pain threshold was measured,and the expression of p 38 MAPK in the lumbar spinal cord was detected by immunohistochemistry and Western blot,separately.The content of cAMP in spinal cord(L 4-L 6)was measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).Results After modeling,the mechanical pain threshold percentages were significantly decreased on day 3,5and 7(P<0.01),and after EA stimulation of DA,PA and DA+PA,the decreased pain threshold was significantly increased at the 3time-points(P<0.01),and the effects of both PA and DA+PA were markedly superior to that of DA(P<0.05,P<0.01).Following modeling,lumbar spinal p38 MAPK immunoactivity and protein expression,and cAMP content were obviously up-regulated(P<0.01).Compared with the model group,the levels of p 38 MAPK immunoactivity and protein expression in the 3EA groups and the sham group,and cAMP contents in both PA and DA+PA groups(not in the DA and sham groups)were considerably down-regulated(P<0.01,P<0.05).Conclusion EA stimulation of distal+proximal acupoints and proximal acupoints near the focus can raise pain threshold in lumbago rats,which may be associated with their effects in suppressing lumbago-induced increase of expression of spinal p 38 MAPK protein and cAMP content.The effects of EA of distal+proximal acupoints and proximal acupoints are better than those of EA of simple distal acupoints.

摘要:Objective To observe the effect of moxibustion and electroacupuncture(EA)stimulation of"Tianshu"(ST 25)and"Qihai"(CV 6)on Th 1/Th 2immune balance in rats with experimental ulcerative colitis(UC).Methods The UC rats were randomly allocated to model group,moxibustion group and EA group(n=10in each group).Another 10 rats were used as the control group.The UC model was established by injection of fresh colonic mucosal tissue-made antigen emulsifier(purified mucosal supernate plus complete Freund's adjuvant,3.5mg on day one,and 7mg thereafter)into the bilateral toes,inguinal grooves,back,and the abdominal cavity on day 1,10,17 and 24,respectively.Medicinal paste(containing Cortex Cinnamomi,Flos Carthami,etc.)-separated moxibustion or EA(200Hz,2mA)was applied to ST 25 and CV 6for 20 min,once daily for 14 days.The mRNA expression levels of interferon-γ(INF-γ),IL-12,IL-4 and IL-10 in colon tissues were detected using quantitative RT-PCR and their content determined using enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).The colon tissue cell ratios of CD 4+INF-γ+INF-γ+and CD 4+and CD 4+IL-4+IL-4+were analyzed by flow cytometry.Results Compared with the control group,the mRNA and contents of colonic INF-γ and IL-12 and the ratio of CD 4+were analyzed by flow cytometry.Results Compared with the control group,the mRNA and contents of colonic INF-γ and IL-12 and the ratio of CD 4+INF-γ+INF-γ+and CD 4+and CD 4+IL-4+IL-4+were significantly higher in the model group(P<0.05),and the IL-4 and IL-10 mRNA expression and contents considerably lower after UC modeling(P<0.05).Following medicinal paste-separated moxibustion and EA interventions,the increased INF-γand IL-12 mRNA and contents and the increased ratio of CD 4+were significantly higher in the model group(P<0.05),and the IL-4 and IL-10 mRNA expression and contents considerably lower after UC modeling(P<0.05).Following medicinal paste-separated moxibustion and EA interventions,the increased INF-γand IL-12 mRNA and contents and the increased ratio of CD 4+INF-γ+INF-γ+and CD 4+and CD 4+IL-4+IL-4+,and the decreased IL-4and IL-10 mRNA and contents were reversed(P<0.05).No significant differences were found between the moxibustion and EA groups in the levels of all the indexes(P>0.05).Conclusion Both medicinal paste-separated moxibustion and EA interventions may regulate the balance between Th 1and Th 2cells in the colonic tissues of UC rats,suggesting an improvement of the immune function by down-regulating INF-γand IL-12 levels and up-regulating IL-4and IL-10 levels.
摘要:Objective To observe the effect of electroacupuncture(EA)intervention on inflammatory reactions and articular synovial nuclear factor kappa B(NF-κB)and TNF-αconverting enzyme(TACE)protein expression in rheumatoid arthritis(RA)rats,so as to elucidate its anti-inflammatory mechanism.Methods Forty Sprague-Dawley(SD)rats were randomly divided into normal control,model,EA,and non-acupoint groups,with 10 rats in each group.The RA model was established by intradermal injection of bovine type II collagen emulsified in incomplete Freund's adjuvant for 21 days.EA(2Hz,1mA)was applied to bilateral"Zusanli"(ST 36),"Xuanzhong"(GB 39)and"Shenshu"(BL 23)for 15 min,once daily for 19 days,starting from the third day on after modeling.The sham acupoints(5mm lateral to the above-mentioned acupoints)received the same stimulation to EA group.Paw swelling volume was detected using a water-filled glass mug,the serum C-reactive protein(CRP)and rheumatoid factor(RF)contents were assayed using velocity scatter turbidimetric method,and the plasma erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR)was assayed with Westergren method and VES-MATIC 20 ESR auto-analyzer and the expression levels of TACE and NF-κB proteins in the synovial tissue of knee joint were detected by Western blot.Results After RA modeling,the hind-paw volume was significantly bigger in the RA rats than in the normal rats(P<0.01),and remarkably lower in the EA group(not in the non-acupoint group)than in the model group(P<0.05).In addition,the plasma ESR,serum CRP and RF contents and the expression levels of NF-κB and TACE proteins in the synovial tissues were significantly increased in the model group compared with those in the normal group(P<0.01),and were obviously down-regulated in the EA group(P<0.05),but not in the non-acupoint group(P>0.05).Conclusion EA can effectively improve the severity of articular inflammatory swelling and lower ESR,serum CRP and RF contents and suppress synovial TACE/NF-κB protein signaling in RA rats.
摘要:Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of acupoint injection of mixture solution of lidocaine,dexamethasone(DX)and transfer factor on symptoms and serum histamine contents in allergic rhinitis(AR)rats,so as to differentiate the role of acupoint stimulation or drug factor influencing the therapeutic effect.Methods SD rats were randomized into normal(n=8),model,non-acupoint-drug injection,acupoint-drug injection and acupoint-saline injection groups(n=11in each group).The AR model was established by intraperitoneal injection of suspension of ovalbumin(0.3mg)and aluminum hydroxide(30mg),1mL,once every other day for 7days,followed by nose-dripping of 5% ovalbumin(50μL)for other 7days.The AR scores for rhinocnesmus severity(1-2points),sneezing times(1-3points)and nasal discharge quantity(1-3points)were assessed by cumulative quantification scoring method."Yintang"(EX-HN 3)and bilateral"Yingxiang"(LI 20)were used for acupoint injection of mixture solution of 1% Lidocaine,DX and transfer factor(1∶1∶1,0.1mL/acupoint),once every other day for 7days.The non-acupoints were located at the bilateral sub-costal regions and the mid-point between the left"Houhai"(GV 1)and"Huantiao"(GB 30).The same dose of saline was injected into the aforementioned acupoints for control.Serum histamine content was detected by using ELISA,and the nasal mucosal pathological changes were also observed after H.E.stain.Results After the treatment,AR modeling induced increase of symptom scores and serum histamine contents were significantly decreased in both acupoint-saline injection and acupoint-drug injection groups(P<0.01)but not in the non-acupoint-drug injection group(P>0.05),and the effects of acupoint-drug injection were markedly superior to those of non-acupoint-drug injection group(P<0.01).Conclusion Acupoint injection of mixture solution of Lidocaine,DX and transfer factor is effective in relieving the allergic symptoms and reducing the nasal mucosa inflammation in AR rats,which may be related to its action in suppressing histamine releasing,mainly by acupoint stimulation.It suggests that the therapeutic effect mainly derives from acupoint-injection stimulation,then the injected drugs.
摘要:Objective To observe the effect of electroacupuncture(EA)intervention on pain thresholds(PT)and contents ofβ-endorphin(EP)in the hypothalamus and spinal cord,and the expression of 5-HT in the dorsal raphe nucleus(DRN)in rats with pelmatic incisional pain,so as to investigate the underlying mechanisms of acupuncture in reducing post-operative pain.Methods Wistar rats were randomized into normal control,model,EA and non-acupoint groups(n=8/group).The pelmatic pain model was induced by making an incision(about 1cm in length,to the fascia and muscle layers)from the heel towards the toes.EA(2Hz,1.5-2V)was applied to "Zusanli"(ST 36)and "Kunlun"(BL 60)or non-acupoint(about 3mm beside the ST 36 and BL 60)on the affected side for 20 min,once daily for three days.The thermal PT and mechanical PT were measured before and after operation and after EA.The contents ofβ-EP in hypothalamus and L3-S4 spinal cord were detected using enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)and the expressions ofβ-EP in hypothalamus and 5-HT in DRN were measured with immunohistochemistry.Results After EA intervention,the markedly decreased mechanical and thermal pain thresholds on day 1and 3after paw incision were significantly increased in the EA group(P<0.05),but not in the non-acupoint group(P>0.05).The hypothalamicβ-EP content was significantly higher in the model group than in the normal group(P<0.05),and further up-regulated in the EA group(not the non-acupoint group)than in the model group(P<0.05).In addition,the hypothalamicβ-EP immunoreactive(IR)-positive cell number and 5-HT immunoactivity level in DRN were also considerably up-regulated in the EA group(P<0.05)but not in the non-acupoint group(P>0.05).No significant changes were found in the lumbar spinalβ-EP contents in the model,EA and non-acupoint groups(P>0.05).Conclusion EA stimulation of"Zusanli"(ST 36)and "Kunlun"(BL 60)has an analgesic effect in pelmatic incision pain rats,which may be related to its effects in raising the level of hypothalamicβ-EP and the expression of 5-HT in DRN.
摘要:Objective To observe the effect of electroacupuncture(EA)combined with administration of Polysaccharide of Gastrodia elata Blume(PGB)on stem cell proliferation in the basolateral amygdala(BLA)of focal cerebral ischemia(FCI)rats.Methods A total of 40Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into normal control,model,EA,PGB and EA+PGB groups(n=8rats in each group).The FCI model was established by occlusion of the right middle cerebral artery.EA(2Hz,3V)was applied to"Baihui"(GV 20)and the left"Zusanli"(ST 36)for 30 min,once daily for 14 successive days.Rats of the PGB and EA+PGB groups were given with PGB(100mg/kg)by gastrogavage,once daily,for14 successive days.The Zea-Longa's method was used to determine the animals' nerurological dysfunction score on day 1and 14.The expressions of Nestin and brain derived neurotrophic factor(BDNF)of the right BLA were measured by immunohistochemical staining.Results Following modeling,the neurological score,and the numbers of Nestin-and BDNF-immunoreaction(IR)-positive cells were significantly increased in the model group(P<0.05).Compared with the model group,the neurological scores were considerably decreased in the EA,PGB and EA+PGB groups(P<0.05),and the numbers of Nestin-and BDNF-IR positive cells were further significantly increased in the 3treatment groups(P<0.05),and the effect of EA+PGB was notably superior to that of simple EA and simple PGB in down-regulating neurological score and up-regulating Nestin and BDNF expression(P<0.05).Conclusion Both EA and PGB interventions can improve FCI rats' neurological function,which may be related to their effects in up-regulating the expression of Nestin and BDNF to promote the proliferation of neural stem cells in the BLA.
摘要:Objective To observe the effect of warm-needle-moxibustion on behavior changes and the levels of tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)and matrix metalloproteinase-3(MMP-3)in the knee cartilage tissue of rabbits with knee osteoarthritis(KOA)so as to explore its mechanisms in relieving KOA.Methods Thirty male Japanese white rabbits were randomly divided into normal,model and treatment groups(n=10in each group).The KOA model was established by using immobilization method.The internal and external"Dubi"(ST 35),"Xuehai"(SP 10)and "Yanglingquan "(GB 34)were punctured with filiform needles first,followed by attaching an ignited moxa column to the handle of each inserted needles.The treatment was conducted for 20 min every time,once daily for 4weeks.The behavioral scores were assessed according to the pain severity,gait,joint motion range and articular swelling severity in reference to the modified Lequesne's methods.The TNF-αand MMP-3contents in the knee joint cartilage tissue were assayed by radioimmunoassay,and pathological changes of the articular cartilage tissue were observed under microscope after sectioning and H.E.staining.Results The Lequesne total score,and the cartilage TNF-αand MMP-3contents were significantly increased in the model group than in the normal group(P<0.05),and obviously down-regulated after warm-needle-moxibustion intervention(P<0.05).Under light microscope,the inflammatory infiltration of the articular cartilage and the disordered arrangement of chondrocytes in KOA rabbits were improved in the treatment group.ConclusionWarm-needle-moxibustion intervention can improve the motor function of rabbits with KOA,which may be related to its effects in reducing the level of TNF-αand MMP-3in articular cartilage tissue.
摘要:Objective To observe the effect of transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation(TEAS)on ileus-postoperative gastrointestinal functions and plasma ghrelin,motilin,and gastrin contents,and heart rate variability(HRV)in patients undergoing gastrointestinal surgery,so as to explore the interaction of vagus-brain-gut peptide.Methods A total of 58 patients undergoing elective gastrointestinal surgery were randomly assigned to TEAS(n=29)and sham-TEAS group(n=29,patients had no subjective sensation to 1mA TEAS,thus,being considered to be sham-TEAS).TEAS(2Hz/100 Hz,6-8mA for LI 4-PC 6,12-18 mA for ST 36-SP 6)was applied to bilateral Hegu(LI 4)-Neiguan(PC 6)from 30 min pre-operation to the end of the operation and to bilateral LI 4-PC 6and Zusanli(ST 36)-Sanyinjiao(SP 6)for 30 minutes twice daily in 3consecutive postoperative days.ECGs of 12 leads were recorded to analyze different parameters of HRV from 2days before and 4days after surgery.Plasma ghrelin,motilin and gastrin contents were assayed by radioimmunoassay,and the patients' first bowel sound,first independent walk,first flatus,first solid food-intake and first defecation were recorded to evaluate the recovery state of gastrointestinal motility.Results Postoperative gastrointestinal motility:compared with the sham-TEAS group,the first bowel sound and the first defecation after surgery appeared apparently earlier in the TEAS group(P<0.05),but no significant differences were found between the two groups at the time of the first independent walk,first flatus and the first solid food-intake in patients undergoing gastrointestinal surgery.Plasma brain-gut peptides:the plasma ghrelin and motilin contents 4days post-surgery were significant increased in the TEAS group than in the sham-TEAS group(P<0.05).No significant difference was found between the two groups in plasma gastrin contents(P>0.05).HRV domains:in comparison with pre-surgery,the levels of low frequency(LF)and high frequency(HF)of frequency domain(FD)and root mean square of successive differences(rMSSD)of the time domain(TD)of HRV 4days after surgery were significantly decreased in the sham-TEAS group(P<0.05),but no significant changes were found in both FD and TD domains of the TEAS group 4days after surgery(P>0.05).Compared with the sham-TEAS group,the HF and rMSSD levels were significantly increased in the TEAS group 4days after the surgery(P<0.05).No significant differences were found between the two groups in the levels of very low frequency,LF and LF/HF levels of FD,and standard deviation of NN(beat-to-beat)intervals,the standard deviation of the average NN intervals and the proportion of NN 50(the number of pairs of successive NNs that differ by more than 50ms)divided by total number of NNs of TD.Conclusion TEAS can promote gastrointestinal activities(i.e.,reducing the time spending of first bowel sound and the first defecation)in gastrointestinal surgery patients,which may be related to its effects in up-regulating ghrelin and motilin contents and parasympathetic activity.
摘要:Objective To evaluate the curative effect of electroacupuncture(EA)of Zigong(EX-CA 1)and Tianshu(ST 25)and acupuncture of Sanyinjiao(SP 6)and Guanyuan(CV 4)for perimenopausal syndrome(PMS).Methods Fiftyeight PMS patients were equally and randomized into acupuncture group and medication group.EA(10Hz/50 Hz,30min in duration)was applied at Zigong(EX-CA 1)and Tianshu(ST 25)in combination with manual acupuncture stimulation of Sanyinjiao(SP 6)and Guanyuan(CV 4)by twirling the acupuncture needles with small amplitude and till deqi.The treatment was conducted once every other day,three times a week,8weeks altogether.The patients of the medication group were asked to take estradiol valerate(1mg/time,qd)for 3weeks,then,to have one week's rest and continuously took estradiol valerate(1mg/d)and medroxyprogesterone 17-acetate(8mg/d)for 10 days.The therapeutic effects were assessed by Menopause Rating Scale Questionnaire[MRS,composing of 3areas:somatic(4items),psychological(4items)and urogenital(3items)domain].Serum estradiol(E2),follicle stimulating hormone(FSH)and luteotrophic hormone(LH)contents were assayed using ELISA.ResultsAfter the treatment,the scores of the MRS and the contents of serum FSH and LH were significantly decreased in both the acupuncture and medication groups(P<0.01),and serum E2 contents significantly increased in the two groups(P<0.01).No significant differences were found between the two groups in the total effective rates(P>0.05).Eight weeks' follow-up showed that the MRS score of the acupuncture group was significantly lower than that of the medication group(P<0.05).Of the two 29 PMS patients in the medication and acupuncture groups,3(10.3%)and 2(6.9%)cases were under control,22(75.9%)and 21(72.4%)experienced a marked improvement in their symptoms,3(10.3%)and 4(13.8%)were effective,1(3.4%)and 2(6.9%)invalid,with the effective rates being 96.6% and 93.1%,respectively.Eight weeks' follow-up showed that the longterm effect of the acupuncture therapy was obviously superior to that of the medication(P<0.05)according to MRS score.Conclusion Acupuncture therapy is effective in relieving clinical symptoms of PMS women by regulating endocrine hormones,being similar to medication.
摘要:Objective To observe the effect of acupuncture combined with acupoint application in the treatment of patients with acute exacerbations of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(AECOPD).Methods Sixty-two AECOPD patients were randomly divided into medication(control)group and acupuncture+acupoint application(test)group(n=31in each group).Patients of the control group were treated with inhalation of Draco Lakemedel AB(Budesonide Powder)for 15-20min/time,2times/d for 15 d,and those of the test group were treated by acupuncture stimulation of Lieque(LU 7),Chize(LU 5),Danzhong(CV 17),Fenglong(ST 40),Zusanli(ST 36),and Taixi(KI 3)and application of medicinal cake[containing Xingren(Amygdalus Communis Vas),Sangbaipi(Morus alba L.),etc.]to bilateral Feishu(BL 13),Tiantu(CV 22),bilateral Shenshu(BL 23)and Pishu(BL 20).The lung function[forced expiratory volume in 1second(FEV 1)%,forced vital capacity(FVC),and FEV 1/FVC]was detected using apulmonary detector,the severity scores of symptoms(cough,stethocatharsis,gasp,wheeze,short breath,0-3points)and daily life quality [Client's Assessment of Treatment Scale(CAT,7items)]were assessed before and after the treatment.Results After the treatment,the scores of symptoms,life quality(CAT)were significantly decreased(P<0.05),while FEV 1% and FEV 1/FVC levels were considerably increased(P<0.05)in both groups.The effects of the test group were significantly superior to those of the control group in down-regulating symptom score and life quality score and raising FEV 1% and FEV 1/FVC levels(P<0.05).In addition,of the two 30 cases in the control and test groups,10 and 18patients experienced marked improvement,16 and 10were effective,4and 2failed in the treatment,with the effective rates being 86.66% and 93.33%,respectively.The effective rate of acupuncture+acupoint application was obviously superior to that of medication(P<0.05).Conclusion Acupuncture combined with acupoint application is effective in improving the symptoms,life quality and lung function in patients with AECOPD.

摘要:Objective To systematically review the effectiveness and safety of heat-sensitive moxibustion(HSM)therapy in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation(LDH).Methods Papers of randomized clinical trials(RCTs)concerning the effectiveness and safety of HSM therapy for LDH published in both Chinese and English before November 17,2015 were collected from PubMed,EMBase,Cochrane library,CNKI,CBM,WanFang Data and VIP databases according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria and by using key words of"thermal moxibustion""heat-sensitive acupoint""lumbar intervertebral disc herniation(LIDH)""lumbar disc herniation(LDH)"and "lumbago backache",followed by screening,data extracting and methodological quality assessing.Then,the Meta-analysis was performed using RevMan 5.3software.Results Twenty RCTs were included eventually,containing a total of 1 861 cases treated by HSM therapy in the treatment of LDH patients.The Meta-analysis shows that the effectiveness and safety of HSM therapy for LDH are superior to those of other therapies,which is drawn from total effective rate of treatment group[RR=1.13,95%CI(1.09,1.18),P<0.001],M-JOA score[MD=-3.17,95%CI(-3.88,-2.47),P<0.001],M-JOA score difference of various subgroups:daily life ability effect difference [MD=1.04,95%CI(0.44,1.64),P<0.001],subjective effect symptoms difference[MD=0.58,95%CI(0.23,0.92),P=0.001],objective effect symptoms difference[MD=1.12,95%CI(0.58,1.65),P<0.001],VAS score [MD=-1.17,95%CI(-1.78,-0.57),P<0.001],the recurrence rate[RR=0.54,95%CI(0.37,0.80),P=0.002],and no adverse reactions mentioned in the reported results.The sensitivity analysis showed a greater homogeneity in literature and the results were stable,but funnel plot analysis showed a publication bias.Conclusion The HSM therapy is effective and safe in the treatment of LDH patients.
摘要:The imbalance of autonomic nervous function after myocardial ischemia(MI)accelerates the development of ischemic myocardial injury.The beta-adrenergic receptor(β-AR)and muscarinic acetylcholine receptor(M-AChR)are the main receptor types of the cardiomyocyte and the binding sites of the cardiac sympathetic and parasympathetic transmitters.In the present paper,the authors review recent progress of experimental researches on the mechanisms of acupuncture therapy in the prevention and treatment of MI,mainly focusing on the signaling of β_1-AR and M_2-AChR subtypes.Results showed that acupuncture could attenuate the injury of myocardial ischemia via down-regulating the over expression of β_1-AR and up-regulating the expression of M_2-AChR protein.Correspondingly,acupuncture intervention could reverse the abnormal expression of the intracellular stimulatory G protein and inhibitory G protein caused by MI,and suppress the activity of cellular adenylate cyclase.In addition,acupuncture could also enhance the activity of nitric oxide synthase and the level of nitric oxide in the ischemic cardiomyocytes,and increase the synthesis of cyclic guanosine monophosphate,ultimately reducing the level of cyclic adenosine 3',5'monophosphate,and lowering the activity of protein kinase A and the inward flow of Ca(2+)in cardiomyocytes.In this way,the ischemic myocardial injury is improved at last.However,some results of acupuncture intervention are not identical and need being confirmed further by more approaches.

摘要:Oxygen,an important substance for metabolism,and its related nitric oxide(NO)and carbon dioxide(CO_2)play a key role in regulating physiological activities.The study on the characteristics of oxygen in the acupoint region has been being conducted for nearly 30 years.In the present paper,the authors review recent development of researches on changes of partial oxygen pressure(PO2),NO,and CO_2 levels in the acupoint regions.Some researches demonstrated that the PO2,CO_2 and NO contents are relatively higher in some acupoints as Zusanli(ST 36),etc.in comparison with the neighbor tissues or nonacupoints under normal and pathological states in severe infection patients and rats.After acupuncture stimulation,CO_2 and NO contents were increased,while PO2 content was increased or lowered in some acupoints not in non-acupoints.However,there were also some arguments about the conclusions of acupoint oxygen specificity.In order to verify the results of acupoint oxygen specificity researches,more attentions should be paid to the precise experimental design,repeatable experimental conditions,homogeneity of subjects,human body observation,Deqi effect of acupuncture needle manipulation,etc.in the future studies.
