      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of transcutaneous otopoint electrostimulaiton(TCOES)on seizure frequency,immunoreactivity of hippocampal gliocytes and expression of proinflammatory cytokine interleukin-6(IL-6)and anti-inflammatory cytokine IL-10 in chronic temporal lobe epilepsy(CTLE)rats,so as to investigate its antiepileptic mechanism.Methods Thirtysix SD rats were randomly divided into control,model and TCOES groups(n=12in each group).The CTLE model was established by intraperitoneal injection(i.p.i.)of lithium chloride(127.2mg/kg),scopolamine(1mg/kg,20 hafter the 1st injection)and pilocarpine(10mg/kg,30 min after scopolamine injection).Rats of the control group were treated by i.p.i.of normal saline.TCOES(1mA,20Hz)was applied to bilateral otopoint"Heart"-"Lung"-"Subcortex"region for 20 min,once daily for 6weeks.The epileptic attack was observed by a video monitoring system.The numbers of ionized calcium-binding adapter molecule-1(Iba 1)-labeled microgliacytes and glial fibrillary acidic protein(GFAP)-labeled astrocytes in the CA 1and CA 3regions of hippocampus were counted under light microscope after immunostaining,and the expression levels of hippocampal IL-6and IL-10 proteins and genes were determined by immunofluorescence and quantitative real-time PCR,respectively.Results After TCOES intervention,the seizure frequency was significantly decreased in comparison with pre-treatment(P<0.05),modeling-induced dramatic increase of the numbers of microgliacytes and astrocytes,IL-6immunoactivity in the hippocampal CA 1and CA 3regions,and IL-6mRNA expression in the hippocampus were significantly suppressed(P<0.05),and hippo-campal IL-10 immunoactivity and mRNA expression were considerably up-regulated in comparison with the model group(P<0.05).Conclusion TCOES intervention has an antiepileptic effect in CTLE rats,which may be associated with its effects in suppressing gliocyte proliferation,suppressing the expression of proinflammatory cytokine IL-6,and up-regulaiting the expression of anti-inflammatory cytokine IL-10 in the hippocampus.

      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of manual acupuncture stimulation of"Quchi"(LI 11),"Hegu"(LI 4),"Zusanli"(ST 36),etc.with"spleen-stomach harmonizing"technique on insulin resistance index(ISI)and the expression of insulin receptor substrate-1(IRS-1),IRS-2(two upstream key proteins)and glucose transporter-4(GluT-4,downstream key protein)of the phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase(PI 3K)/Akt signaling pathway in insulin resistance type 2diabetes(IRT 2D)rats,so as to explore its mechanism underling improvement of type 2diabetes.Methods A total of 35 male Wistar rats were used in the present study.The IRT 2Dmodel was established by feeding the animal with high-fat and high-sugar diet for 8weeks,and subsequent intraperitoneal injection(i.p.i.)of a low dose of streptozotocin(25mg/kg).Using the stratified random sampling method,20 successful IRT 2Drats were equally divided into model and acupuncture groups.Ten normal rats were used as the control group.The bilateral acupoints of LI 11,LI 4,ST 36,"Xuehai"(SP 10),"Fenglong"(ST 40),"Yinlingquan"(SP 9),"Diji"(SP 8),"Sanyinjiao"(SP 6)and"Taichong"(LR 3)were punctured with filiform needles,followed by manipulating the needles with"spleenstomach harmonizing"technique.The treatment was given once daily for 4weeks except the weekends.Fasting blood glucose and serum insulin levels were measured using ELISA.The quadriceps muscle of thigh of each rat was sampled to test the expression levels of IRS-1,IRS-2,and GluT-4proteins and genes with Western blot and quantitative Real-time PCR,respectively.Results Following 4weeks' acupuncture intervention,the modeling-induced remarkable increase of ISI,and considerable down-regulation of expression levels of IRS-1,IRS-2and GluT-4proteins and genes in the quadriceps femoris were significantly reversed relevant to the model group(P <0.01),suggesting apossible activation of PI 3 K/Akt signaling after acupuncture administration.Conclusion Spleen-stomach regulation needling can improve insulin resistance and up-regulate the expression of IRS-1,IRS-2and GluT-4in the quadriceps femoris in type 2 diabetes rats.

      摘要:Objective To explore the specific mechanism of heat-reinforcing needling(HRN)for rheumatoid arthritis(RA)rabbits with cold syndrome based on metabolomics.Methods A total of 40 healthy rabbits were randomly divided into a normal group,a model group,a reinforcing-reducing needling(RRN)group,a twirling-reinforcing needling(TRN)group and a HRN group(n=8rabbits/group).The RA model with cold syndrome was established with ovalbumin and freezing.Except the normal and model groups,RRN,TRN and HRN were given at"Zusanli"(ST 36)in the corresponding acupuncture groups for 30 min,once a day for 7days.After the interventions,the pain threshold and the local skin temperature of each group were observed.The endogenous metabolites in the serum were analyzed by the gas chromatography mass spectrometry(GC-MS)technology combined with the pattern-recognition method.Results The pain threshold and the local skin temperature in the model group were lower than those in the normal group(P<0.05).The pain thresholds and the local skin temperatures in the three acupuncture groups were higher than those in the model group after interventions(P<0.05),and those in the HRN group were obviously higher than those in the RRN and TRN groups(P<0.05).The serum metabolites of leucine,valine,isoleucine,and arachidonic acid in the model group were increased compared with those in the normal group(P<0.05),and the metabolites ofα-ketoglutaric acid,citric acid,succinic acid,glucose,inositol,palmitic acid,stearic acid,lactose,d-ribose,and D-mannose were decreased(P<0.05).The above-mentioned metabolites in the three acupuncture groups were significantly reversed relevant to the model group(P<0.05),and the effect of HRN group was significantly superior to those of the RRN and TRN groups in regulatingα-ketoglutaric acid,citric acid,succinic acid,glucose,inositol,d-ribose,and D-mannose(P<0.05).Conclusion HRN for RA with cold syndrome is effective,which may be related to the specific regulation for the krebs cycle and glycometabolism.

      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of twirling-reducing needling on changes of profile of differentially-expressed genes in the hypothalamus in rats with stress-induced prehypertension(SI-PHT),so as to explore its mechanism underlying improvement of prehypertension.Methods Wistar male rats were randomly divided into blank control group(n=12),model group(n=12)and acupuncture group(n=10).The SI-PHT model was established by planta-electric-shock stimulation(30V,5s)plus noise stimulation(80-100 db,50ms),twice daily,continuously for 11 days.Manual acupuncture stimulation(twirling-reducing needling)was applied to bilateral"Taichong"(LR 3)and"Quchi"(LI 11)for about 1min(60cycles/min),followed by retaining the needles for 20 min during modeling preparation,once daily for 11 days.The systolic blood pressure(SBP)and behavior changes were recorded before intervention and on the 3rd,5th,7th,9th and 11 th day during modeling.The expression(Fold change,|FC|≥1.5)profile of genes in the hypothalamus was analyzed using Affymetrix GeneChip Rat Gene 2.0ST Array,followed by analyzing the differentially-expressed genes involving the related biological process,molecular function,and signaling pathways by using Gene Ontology(GO)and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG),separately.Results After modeling,the systolic pressure levels were remarkably increased from the 3rd day to the 11 th day in both model and acupuncture groups relatively to their respective baseline levels(P<0.01),and were significantly lower in the acupuncture group than in the model group(P<0.01)from the 5th day to the 11 th day.Meanwhile,93 genes were up-regulated and 153down-regulated in the model group relative to the control group(P<0.05,|FC|≥1.5),while in comparison with the model group,59 genes were up-regulated and 86down-regulated in the acupuncture group(P<0.05,|FC|≥1.5).The expression levels of the 40differentially-expressed genes(24up-regulated and 16down-regulated)in the model group were evidently reversed after acupuncture stimulation(P<0.05,|FC|≥1.5).After acupuncture stimulation,the expression of acyl-CoA synthetase medium-chain family member 3(Acsm 3)gene was down-regulated,and chorionic gonadotropin-alpha(Cgα),crystal(Cry)αB and thyroid stimulating hormone beta(Tshβ)genes and the autoimmune thyroid disease(AITD)pathway were up-regulated(P<0.05,|FC|≥1.5),suggesting an involvement of fatty acid biosynthetic processing,G-protein coupled receptor protein signaling,and hormone activity,etc.in acupuncture-induced blood-pressure lowering.Conclusion Twirling-reducing needling of acupuncture can lower blood pressure in prehypertension rats,which may be related to its effects in regulating expression of Acsm 3,Cgα,CryαB,Tshβgenes and in activating AITD pathway.

      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of electroacupuncture(EA)on expression of cerebral cortical interleukin 4(IL-4),signal transducer and activator of transcription 6(STAT 6)and NF-κB family subunit p 65 in focal cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury(CIRI)rats,so as to explore its mechanisms in reducing cerebral ischemia.Methods Forty-five male SD rats were randomly divided into sham group(n=15),CIRI model group(n=15),and EA group(n=15).The CIRI model was established by middle cerebral artery occlusion/reperfusion(MCAO/R).EA(1mA,2Hz/100Hz)was applied to"Baihui"(GV 20)and the left"Hegu"(LI 4)-"Taichong"(LR 3)for 20 min,once every 12 h,three times altogether.The expression levels of p-STAT 6,STAT 6and NF-κB p 65 in the ischemic cortex were detected by immunohistochemistry and Western blot,separately,and the content of IL-4was detected by ELISA.Results Compared with the sham group,cerebral IL-4content and the expression levels of NF-κB p 65 immunoactivity and protein were significantly up-regulated in the CIRI model group(P<0.001,P<0.01).Following EA intervention,the levels of IL-4,p-STAT 6expression and ratio of p-STAT 6/STAT 6were notably increased in the EA group than in the model group(P<0.01),while the levels of cerebral NF-κB p 65 immunoactivity and protein expression were significantly down-regulated(P<0.01,P<0.05).Conclusion EA of GV 20 and LI 4-LR 3can up-regulate cerebral cortical IL-4content and p-STAT 6expression,and down-regulate NF-κB p 65 expression in CIRI rats,which may contribute to its effect in improving cerebral ischemia by reducing inflammatory injury.

      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of"Xingnao Kaiqiao Zhenfa"(acupuncture technique for restoring consciousness)combined with enriched rehabilitation training on motor function and expression of growth-associated protein-43(GAP-43)of peri-ischemic cortex in ischemic stroke rats,so as to investigate its mechanism underlying improvement of ischemic stroke.Methods SD rats were randomly divided into sham operation,model,rehabilitation and comprehensive rehabilitation groups,which were further divided into 3time-points:7,14 and 21d(n=6in each).Cerebral ischemia(CI)model was established by occlusion of the middle cerebral artery with heat-coagulation.The rehabilitation group was treated by enriched rehabilitation training,once a day.The comprehensive rehabilitation group was treated by acupuncture combined with enriched rehabilitation training.Acupuncture was applied to bilateral"Neiguan"(PC 6)and"Shuigou"(GV 26)for 30 min,once a day.The neurological function score,balance-beam walking test and rotating-rod walking test were evaluated at the end of the corresponding treatment time.The expression of GAP-43 in peri-ischemic cortex was detected by immunohistochemistry.Results In comparison with the sham operation group,the scores of neurological function,beam walking test and rotating-rod walking test were significantly higher in the model group(P<0.01).There were no significant changes in the scores of balance-beam walking and rotating-rod walking tests in the rehabilitation group compared with the model group on day 7(P>0.05).Compared with the model group at the other time points,the scores of neurological function,balance-beam walking test and rotating-rod walking test were significantly lower in the rehabilitation and comprehensive rehabilitation groups(P<0.05).Compared with the rehabilitation group,the scores of neurological function,balance-beam walking test and rotating-rod walking test were significantly lower in the comprehensive rehabilitation group(P<0.05).In comparison with the sham operation group,the number of GAP-43 positive cells of periischemic cortex was significantly higher in the model group(P<0.01).Compared with the model group,the numbers of GAP-43 positive cells of peri-ischemic cortex were significantly increased in the rehabilitation and comprehensive rehabilitation groups(P<0.01).The number of GAP-43 positive cells of peri-ischemic cortex in the comprehensive rehabilitation group was significantly higher than that in the rehabilitation group(P<0.01).Conclusion "Xingnao Kaiqiao Zhenfa"combined with enriched rehabilitation training can promote the recovery of nerve function in ischemic stroke rats,which may be associated with its effect in up-regulating the expression of GAP-43 in the peri-ischemic cortex.

      摘要:Objective To observe the changes of brain rest-state functional connectivity following electroacupuncture(EA)stimulation of right Xia-Jiquan(HT 1),Shaohai(HT 3),Lingdao(HT 4)and Shenmen(HT 7)of the Heart Meridian and non-acupoints in healthy volunteers so as to provide an imaging basis for clinical treatment of some related disorders.MethodsA total of 20 healthy volunteers who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into HT-acupoint group(n=10cases)and non-acupoint group(n=10cases)according to the visiting sequence.EA(2Hz,2-5mA)was applied to the right HT 1-HT 3,and HT 4-HT 7(two outputs of the EA stimulator being connected to two acupuncture needle handles)and non-acupoints(4spots on the imaginary mid-line between the HT and the Pericardium Meridian apart from the 4acupoints HT 1-HT 3,and HT 4-HT 7)for6min.All the subjects underwent resting-state(rs)fMRI using an Achieva 1.5Tmagnetic resonance image(MRI)scanner before and after EA stimulation.The bilateral posterior cingulate was used as the seed point and the functional connectivity data was analyzed by using DPARSF software and rs-fMRI data analysis toolkit.Results After EA stimulation of both acupoints and non-acupoints,a similar functional connectivity change was found in the bilateral postcentral gyrus,right inferior parietal lobule,and right inferior frontal gyrus.After EA of acupoints of the HT Meridian,an enhancement of brain functional connectivity was found in the left inferior temporal gyrus and right parahippocampal gyrus,and the newly activated brain regions were the left precentral gyrus,right precuneus,left angular gyrus,left inferior occipital gyrus and the left insula.After EA stimulation of non-acupoints,an increased functional connectivity was found in the left superior temporal gyrus,which was different from EA of acupoints of HT Meridian.Conclusion EA stimulation of acupoints of the HT Meridian can enhance the rs functional connectivity in some brain regions as the postcentral gyrus,inferior temporal gyrus,etc.which is related to mediating information of somatosensory,cognitive,affective,memory,cardiovascular activities,etc.in healthy volunteer subjects.The only difference between the two EA groups is an enhanced functional connectivity found in the left superior temporal gyrus after EA of non-acupoints.

      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of grain-moxibustion on serum interleukin-6(IL-6)and signal transducers and activators of transcription 3(STAT 3)in inflammatory microenvironment of Lewis lung cancer mice,so as to explore its possible mechanism underlying relieving Lewis lung cancer.Methods C 57BL/6 mice were randomly divided into blank control group,model group,and moxibustion group(n=10in each group).Lewis lung cancer model was established by hypodermic injection of Lewis tumor cell suspension.Mice in the moxibustion group were treated by grain-moxibustion at bilateral"Housanli"(ST36),5 zhuang each acupoint,once a day for 10 days.The body weight,survival state score,volume of tumor,and survival rate were observed.Serum IL-6level was detected by ELISA,and the expression of STAT 3in tumor tissue was determined by Western blot.Results Compared with the blank control group,the body weight was significantly increased in the model group(P<0.05).The volume of tumor increased significantly in the model group,while it markedly decreased in the moxibustion group after 8and 10 days treatment compared with the model group(P<0.05).The survival state of mice deteriorated companied with decreased survival rate in the model group,however,after 6,8or 10 days treatment,the survival state scores were increased in the moxibustion group than in the model group(P<0.05).Compared with the blank control group,both serum IL-6level and STAT 3expression in tumor tissue were increased significantly in the model group(P<0.001).Compared with the model group,both serum IL-6level and STAT 3expression in tumor tissue were decreased significantly in the moxibustion group(P<0.001).Conclusion Grain-moxibustion has remarkable effect on Lewis lung cancer,by improving survival state,reducing death rate,and controlling growth rate of tumor,which might be associated with its function of inhibiting the activation of IL-6and STAT 3in inflammatory microenvironment.

      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of point-moxibustion and electroacupuncture(EA)on gastrointestinal motility,and expression of endothelial nitric oxide synthase(eNOS)mRNA and angiotensin 2(ATⅡ)mRNA in gastric antrum in diabetic gastroparesis(DGP)rats,so as to reveal the different effect between point-moxibustion and EA,and explore the mechanism underlying improvement of DGP.Methods Forty SD rats were randomly divided into normal,model,point-moxibustion and EA groups,10 rats in each group.The DGP model was established by intraperitoneal injection of streptozotocin(STZ,2%,55mmol/kg)and fed with high-sugar and high-fat fodder."Zusanli"(ST 36),"Sanyinjiao"(SP 6)and"Liangmen"(ST 21)were chosen to be stimulated with moxibustion at 0,10 and 20min in the point-moxibustion group or with EA for 20 min in the EA group.The treatment was conducted once daily for 15 days.After treatment,blood glucose,gastric emptying rate and small intestinal propulsive rate were measured.The plasma endothelin 1(ET-1)content was detected by ELISA.The mRNA expression of eNOS and AT Ⅱin gastric antrum were detected by Real-time PCR.Results Compared with the normal group,the blood glucose in the model group was significantly higher(P<0.01).Compared with the model group,the blood glucose decreased significantly in the point-moxibustion group and EA group(P<0.05).In comparison with the normal group,gastric emptying rate and small intestinal propulsive rate were decreased,the content of plasma ET-1was increased,the expression of eNOS mRNA in gastric antrum was significantly reduced and the expression of ATⅡ mRNA was significantly increased in the model group(P<0.01).In comparison with the model group,gastric emptying rate and small intestinal propulsive rate were increased,the content of plasma ET-1was decreased,the expression of eNOS mRNA in gastric antrum was higher and the expression of AT Ⅱ mRNA was significantly lower in both point-moxibustion group and EA group(P<0.05),and there were no significant differences between the two treatment groups in above mentioned indexes(P>0.05).Conclusion Both point-moxibustion and EA can effectively promote gastrointestinal motility in DGP rats and improve the symptoms of delayed gastric emptying.The two therapies are effective,and their mechanism may be related to the increase of eNOS mRNA expression and the decrease of ATⅡmRNA expression in gastric antrum.

      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of acupuncture on the expression of T-box expressed in T cell(T-bet)/GATA binding factor-3(GATA-3)in plasma of rats with chronic fatigue syndrome(CFS)and explore the mechanism of acupuncture treatment for CFS.Methods Forty-eight healthy male SD rats were randomly divided into blank control group,CFS model group,acupuncture group,and ginsenoside group(12rats in each group).CFS rat model was established by combining restriction and cold water swimming.Acupuncture was applied to"Baihui"(GV 20),"Guanyuan"(CV 4)and"Zusanli"(ST 36,bilateral)acupoints,once a day for two weeks.The ginsenoside group was gavage administrated with ginsenoside,once a day for two weeks.After 14 days,behavioural changes were observed,and the expression levels of T-bet/GATA-3genes in plasma were detected by RT-PCR.Results Compared with the blank control group,the time for immobility of forced suspensory test was significantly longer(P<0.05)and the time for exhaustive swimming was significantly shortened(P<0.05)in the CFS model group.Compared with the model group,the two indexes above-mentioned were reversed(P<0.05)both in the acupuncture group and the ginsenoside group,and the effects in the acupuncture group were more significant than those in the ginsenoside group(P<0.05).Compared with the blank control group,the expression level of T-cell transcription factor T-bet gene in plasma was higher in the CFS model group(P<0.05),companied with lower GATA-3gene expression(P<0.05).The ratio of T-bet/GATA-3was higher in the model group than in the blank control group(P<0.05).Compared with the CFS model group,all the indexes above-mentioned were reversed(P<0.05)in the two treatment groups.Acupuncture group showed a better effect on reducing T-bet gene expression than the ginsenoside group(P<0.05).Conclusion Acupuncture can decrease the expression level of T-bet gene while increase the expression of GATA-3gene,which may be associated with its role in treating CFS.

      摘要:Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation(TEAS)in treating children with autism spectrum disorders.Methods Forty-one autistic children receiving rehabilitation training were randomized into TEAS(n=21)and control(n=20)groups.The control group only received rehabilitation training.The TEAS group received both rehabilitation training and TEAS treatment[2Hz/15 Hz alternating frequencies through two pairs of skin electrodes placed at Hegu(LI 4)-Neiguan(PC6)on unilateral side,and Zusanli(ST 36)-Sanyinjiao(SP 6)on the contralateral side].The treatment was given 30 min per day for 12 weeks.The outcome assessment was quantified with a series of rating scales including Autism Behavior Checklist(ABC),Childhood Autism Rating Scale(CARS)and Parent Symptom Questionnaire(PSQ).Results(1)The TEAS group showed more significant improvement than the control group in ABC(P<0.01).38.1% effective rate(8/21)was observed in the TEAS group compared to 5.0%(1/20)in the control group(P<0.05).The CARS scores of both groups were reduced(P<0.0001)after treatment.The TEAS group showed significantly lower score compared to the control group(P<0.0001).(2)There was a distinctly reduced PSQ score in both TEAS and control groups(P<0.001)after treatment.(3)TEAS intervention showed better effect in children under 6years old with moderate or severe autistic symptoms.Conclusion TEAS intervention can significantly improve the autistic symptoms.

      摘要:Objective To investigate the therapeutic rule of electroacupuncture(EA)in treating functional constipation.Methods Eighty-eight patients with severe chronic functional constipation were randomized divided into EA(n=45)and shamEA(n=43)groups.Patients in the EA group were treated with EA at bilateral Tianshu(ST 25),Fujie(SP 14),Shangjuxu(ST 37),and those in the sham-EA group were received superficial acupuncture at 1 cunlateral to the identical acupoints without electrical current delivery.The number of patients with complete spontaneous bowel movements(CSBM)was weekly compared between the EA and sham-EA groups at baseline week,during 8weeks' treatment,as well as the follow-up 4th,8th and 12 th weeks after treatment.The Bristol Stool Chart(BSC)and defecation difficulty scores were also weekly compared from baseline until 8weeks.Results The CSBM showed significant differences from 3to 8weeks and at 4th,8th and 12 th weeks post-treatment(P<0.05),but not within the first two weeks between the EA and sham-EA groups.The number of patients who had more than 3times of CSBM per week was increased in the EA group(P<0.05).The therapeutic effect of EA group was superior to that of the sham-EA group in improving BSC over the 4th and 5th weeks(P<0.05).The defecation difficulty score was improved in the EA group than in the sham-EA group since the4 th week(P<0.05).Conclusion EA shows therapeutic effect for functional constipation by improving CSBM and BSC.

      摘要:Objective To observe the efficacy of acupuncture at phenomaxillary ganglia and local acupoints for symptoms induced by allergic rhinitis(AR).Methods Fifty AR patients were randomly divided into treatment group(n=26)and control group(n=24).Patients of the treatment group were treated by needling in phenomaxillary ganglia,and then at Yingxiang(LI 20,bilateral)and Yintang(EX-HN 3)for 20 min,twice per week with a total treatment period of 4weeks.Needling in left and right phenomaxillary ganglia was alternately performed.Patients in the control group were treated with oral loratadine tablets for 4weeks.The clinical efficacy,AR symptoms score and Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)score were assessed before and after the treatment.Results The total clinical efficacy of the treatment and control groups was 76.91%(20/26)and 54.17%(13/24),respectively,the therapeutic effect of the treatment group was obviously superior to that of the control group(P<0.05).In the treatment group,both symptoms and VAS scores were lower after treatment compared with those before treatment(P<0.01)and those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Needling in phenomaxillary ganglia and local points is effective in relieving AR-induced symptoms.

      摘要:Objective To observe the clinical effect of acupuncture therapy in the treatment of postpartum obesity subjects.Methods A total of 71 postpartum obesity subjects were allocated to treatment group(n=35)and control group(n=36).Participants of the control group were asked to receive weekly nutrition consultation(body-weight management)for calorie intake control during 4weeks' treatment,and those of the acupuncture group were treated by manual acupuncture stimulation of Zhongwan(CV 12),Zhongji(CV 3),Qihai(CV 6),Shuifen(CV 9),and Guanyuan(CV 4),bilateral Tianshu(ST 25),Guilai(ST 29),Shousanli(LI 10),Zusanli(ST 36),Fenglong(ST 40),and Yinlingquan(SP 9)in combination with nutrition consultation.The treatment was conducted once every other day,continuously for 4weeks.The body weight(BW),body mass index(BMI),percent of body fat(PBF)and waist-to-hip ratio(WHR)were determined before and after the treatment.Results After the treatment,the BW,BMI,PBF and WHR in the acupuncture group,and the BW and WHR in the control group were significantly decreased(P<0.01,P<0.05),and the therapeutic effect of the acupuncture group was notably superior to that of the control group in reducing BW and WHR(P<0.05,P<0.01).Conclusion Acupuncture therapy combined with nutritional calorie control has a positive role in relieving obesity in postpartum obesity participants.

      摘要:Objective To observe the efficacy of double-needle winding and pulling combined with electroacupuncture in treating scapulohumeral periarthritis.Methods Sixty cases with scapulohumeral periarthritis were equally randomized into treatment group and control group(n=30in each group).Jianliao(TE 14),Jianyu(LI 15),Naoshu(SI 10),Jianzhen(SI 9),Binao(LI14),Quyuan(SI 13),Quchi(LI 11),Shousanli(LI 10)were selected in the two groups.In the treatment group,double-needles were inserted respectively into TE 14,LI 15 and SI 10,twirling till sticking,then the needles were pulled for 3times.The rest acupoints were manipulated routinely before electroacupuncture apparatus was connected.The control group received routine electroacupuncture treatment.Both groups were treated for 2courses,which comprised of 6days as a course and 1day rest.VAS and Melle were scored and clinical efficacy was evaluated for both groups.Results VAS and Melle scores were lower after treatment than those before in both groups(P<0.001),and the scores in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.001).The before-and-after-treatment difference values of VAS and Melle scores in the treatment group were significantly higher than those of the control group(P<0.01).There were 8cases cured,17 observed markedly effective and 4effective in the treatment group,the rate of cured and markedly effective was 83.3%,which was significantly higher(P<0.01)than that of the control group(50.0%),in which 0cases cured,15 observed markedly effective,13 effective.No significant difference was observed between the two groups in total effective rate(P>0.05).No adverse event occurred during the treatment.Conclusion The therapy of double-needle winding and pulling combined with electroacupuncture has good efficacy in treating scapulohumeral periarthritis,which can relieve pain and improve the shoulder joint function,and it is superior to single electroacupuncture therapy.

      摘要:Rheumatoid arthritis(RA)is a chronic inflammatory disease.Persistent inflammation of the synovial membrane is the main characteristic pathological symptom.Moxibustion for treating RA has achieved significant clinical effect in recent years.A large number of experimental studies have also shown that moxibustion promoted the repair of inflammatory damage induced by RA.Based on summarizing 10 years related literatures,the authors analyzed the repair mechanisms of moxibustion for inflammatory damage in RA from central mechanisms including glucocorticoid receptor,melatonine,hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis,and cholinergic nerve to peripheral mechanisms including local inflammatory mediators,cytokine,and inflammatory cell signaling pathway,so as to provide evidences and reference for further research.

    • Systematic Evaluation and Meta-analysis on Acupuncture for Peptic Ulcer

      摘要:Objective To systematically evaluate the clinical efficacy of acupuncture for peptic ulcer.Methods Randomized controlled trials of acupuncture for peptic ulcer were searched from China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),WanFang Database,Chinese Scientific and Technological Journals(VIP),China Biomedicine(CBM),PubMed and the Cochrane Library from the establishment time of databases to September,2016.Data extraction and quality evaluation were implemented for the literature which met the inclusive criteria.The RevMan 5.3software was used to make Meta-analysis.Results Sixteen papers including 1 570 patients of peptic ulcer were included.The results of Meta-analysis showed that there was no statistical significance between acupuncture and western medicine in the effective rate,the healing rate of ulcer area and the HP negative rate(all P>0.05);the recurrence rate of acupuncture was significantly lower than that of western medicine[RR=0.35,95%CI(0.14,0.84),P<0.05].Acupuncture plus western medicine was significantly different from simple western medicine in the effective rate,the healing rate of ulcer area and the recurrence rate[RR=1.20,95% CI(1.04,1.38),P=0.01;RR=1.29,95% CI(1.06,1.58),P=0.01;RR=0.27,95% CI(0.16,0.45),P<0.00001].The analysis of evidence grade(GRADE)pre-sented that the healing rate of ulcer area and the HP negative rate of acupuncture were "low grade",and others were "extremely low grade".Conclusion Acupuncture combined with western medicine has some advantages for peptic ulcer compared with the conventional western medicine,which needs further confirmation due to the lower evidence grade.Larger samples,randomized controlled trials with high quality are highly recommended.
