摘要:Objective To observe the effect of moxibustion on the learning ability and expression of neurotrophic factors and Notch signaling in vascular dementia(VD)rats,so as to explore its neurogenesis mechanism underlying improvement of VD.Methods Sixty SD rats were equally and randomly divided into sham operation(sham),model,medication and moxibustion groups(n=15 rats/group).The VD model was established by occlusion of the bilateral cervical common arteries and reperfusion.Moxibustion was applied to"Dazhui"(GV 14),"Guanyuan"(CV 4)and "Mingmen"(GV 4)for 15 minutes,once daily,6 times a week for 4 weeks.Rats of the medication group were treated by gavage of nimodipine(2 mg·kg-1·d-1),3 times a day,6 days a week for 4 weeks.Morris water maze tests were performed to detect the rat's learning-memory ability.The infarcted size of the brain was detected by using 2,3,5-triphenyltetrazolium chloride(TTC)staining,and H.E.staining was used to detect the histopathological changes.The expression level of glia fibrillary acidic protein(GFAP),nerve growth factor(NGF),brain derived neurotrophic factor(BDNF),Notch 1(a receptor),Hes 3(a downstream effector)mRNAs and proteins in the hippocampal tissues were detected by quantitative real-time PCR and Western blot,respectively.Results After 4 weeks' intervention,modeling-induced increase of escape latency was significantly shortened in both moxibustion and medication groups relevant to the model group(P<0.05),and the infarct size was reduced and the damage degree of nerve cells in the brain tissue alleviated.The expression levels of BDNF,NGF,GFAP,Hes 3,Notch 1 genes and proteins were significantly up-regulated in the model group relevant to the sham operation group(P<0.05,P<0.01).After the intervention,the expression levels of hippocampal BDNF,NGF,GFAP,Hes 3 and Notch 1 mRNAs and proteins in the moxibustion group,and NGF and GFAP mRNAs,and BDNF,NGF,GFAP,Hes 3 and Notch 1 proteins in the medication group were further obviously up-regulated relevant to the model group(P<0.05,P<0.01).The effect of moxibustion was significantly superior to that of medication in up-regulating GFAP,Hes 3,Notch 1 mRNAs expression(P<0.05,P<0.01).No significant differences were found in the expression of BDNF,Hes 3 and Notch 1 mRNAs in the medication group relevant to the model group(P>0.05),and between the moxibustion and medication groups in up-regulating the expression of BDNF and NGF mRNAs,and in up-regulating the expression of BDNF,NGF,GFAP,Hes3 and Notch 1 proteins(P>0.05).Conclusion Moxibustion can improve learning ability in VD rats,which may be associated with its effects in up-regulating the expression of neurotrophic factors and in potentiating Notch signaling.
摘要:Objective To observe the influence of suspended moxibustion on neutrophilic asthma related signal factors in asthma rats.Methods Thirty-two SD rats were randomly divided into normal control,model,dexamethasone(DEX)and suspended moxibustion(MOX)groups,with 8 rats in each group.The neutrophil granulocyte asthma model was made by intranasal instillation of lipopolysaccharide(LPS),intraperitoneal injection of ovalbumin(OVA)and inhalation of OVA,once a day for 14 d.After modeling,rats of the DEX group received intraperitoneal injection of DEX(0.5 mg/kg),once daily for 14 d,and those of the MOX group treated by suspended MOX at"Danzhong"(CV 17),and bilateral"Feishu"(BL 13),"Pishu"(BL 20),and"Shenshu"(BL 23)for 40 min,once a day,for 14 d.The total number of leukocytes and Wright's stain-displayed differential counts in the bronchoalveolar lavage fluid(BALF)were counted,and the content of IL-17 in the BALF was assayed by ELISA.The contents of T-helper 17(Th 17)cells in the spleen and peripheral blood were detected using flow cytometry,and the expression of retinoic acid-related orphan receptor gamma t(ROR-γt)mRNA and protein in the inferior lobe of the right lung were detected by quantitative real-time PCR,immunohistochemical stain and Western blot,respectively.Results Compared with the normal control group,the total number of leukocytes,the percentages of neutrophils,eosinophilis and lymphcytes and IL-17 content in the BALF,and Th 17 contents in the peripheral blood and spleen tissue were significantly increased in the model group(P<0.01).After the treatment,the total numbers of leukocytes,the percentages of neutrophils,eosinophils and lymphocytes and IL-17 contents in the BALF,and Th 17 contents in the peripheral blood and spleen tissues were down-regulated considerably in both the DEX and MOX groups(P<0.05,P <0.01).Immunohistochemical stain,real-time PCR and Western blot measurements showed that the expression levels of ROR-γt protein and mRNA in the lung tissues were notably higher in the model group than in the normal control group(P<0.01),and significantly down-regulated in both DEX and MOX groups relevant to the model group(P<0.05,P<0.01).No significant differences were found between the DEX and MOX groups in all the aforementioned indexes(P>0.05),except plasma Th 17(P<0.05).Conclusion Suspended moxibustion,being comparable to DEX treatment,can reduce the inflammatory reactions of neutrophilic asthma rats by down-regulating the expression of ROR-γt in the lung,and lowering IL-17 and neutrophils levels in the airway,and Th 17 in the peripheral blood and spleen.
摘要:Objective To study the effect and mechanism of electroacupuncture(EA)combined with treadmill training in rats with skeletal muscle contusion.Methods A total of sixty Sprague Dawley rats were randomly divided into normal,model,EA,treadmill,and combination groups(n=12/group).The self-made striking device was used to establish skeletal muscle contusion model.EA was applied at"Zusanli"(ST 36)and Ashi point in the EA group.Treadmill was applied to train rats in the treadmill group.Rats in the combination group were received the above two methods.All the treatment was given once a day until the 3 rd and 14 th days after injury.The cross-sectional area and diameter of neonatal gastrocnemius muscle cells 14 days after injury were observed by HE staining.The expression levels of mammalian target of rapamycil(mTOR),myogenin(myoG)in gastrocnemius 3 days after injury and gastrocnemius mTOR,Fast myosin skeletal heavy chain(Fast MyHC)14 days after injury were observed by Western blot.Results The cross-sectional area and diameter of neonatal muscle gastrocnemius cells in the model group were significantly lower than those in the normal group(P<0.01),and those in all the intervention groups were significantly higher than those of the model group(P<0.05),with better results in the combination group compared with those in the EA and treadmill groups(P<0.05).On the 3 rd day after injury,the expressions of mTOR and myoG proteins in the model group were significantly higher compared with those in the normal group(P<0.01),and those in all the intervention groups were up-regulated in comparison with the model group(all P<0.01).The mTOR and myoG proteins in the treadmill group were lower than those in the EA group(P<0.01).The above two indexes in the combination group were higher than those in the EA and treadmill groups(P<0.05,P<0.01).On the 14 th day after injury,the expression of mTOR was up-regulated in the model group compared with that in the normal group,but without significant difference(P>0.05),while the expression of Fast MyHC decreased(P<0.01).The expressions of mTOR and Fast MyHC in all the intervention groups increased compared with those in the model group(P<0.05,P<0.01).The expressions of mTOR and Fast MyHC proteins in the treadmill group were significantly down-regulated compared with those in the EA group(P<0.05,P<0.01).The two indexes in the combination group were higher than those in the other two intervention groups(P<0.01).Conclusion EA combined with treadmill training can improve the myogenic differentiation and maturation,alleviate the injury of skeletal muscle,which may be related to its effect of increasing the expression of mTOR protein and positively regulating myoG and Fast MyHC proteins.

摘要:Objective To observe the effect of warm needle moxibustion(WNM)on knee-joint swelling and expression of sirtuin 1(SIRT 1,a classⅢ histone/protein deacetylase)and nuclear factorκB(NF-κB)in synovial tissue in rats with rheumatoid arthritis(RA).Methods Fifty SD rats were randomly divided into five groups:normal control,model,SIRT 1-inhibitor,WNM,and SIRT 1-inhibitor plus WNM(inhibitor+WNM),n=10 rats in each group.The RA model was established by subcutaneous injection of bovine type Ⅱ collagen at the sole,once daily for 21 days.The WNM was applied to bilateral"Zusanli"(ST 36),"Shenshu"(BL 23)and"Xuanzhong"(GB 39)for 15 min,once daily for 21 days,beginning on the 1 st day of modeling.For rats of SIRT 1-inhibitor group and inhibitor+WNM group,nicotinamide solution(10 mmol·kg-1·d-1)was injected intraperitoneally on the 1 st,7 th,14 th and 21 th days of modeling.The swelling volume of the affected knee-joint was measured by water drainage method.The contents of IL-1β,IL-6 and IL-8 in the serum were measured by radioimmunoassay.The expression of SIRT 1 and NF-κB p 65 proteins in the synovial tissue of knee-joint were detected by immunoblotting.Results After modeling,the knee-joint volume,serum IL-1β,IL-6 and IL-8 contents,and the expression of NF-κB p 65 protein in synovial tissue of knee-joint were considerably increased relevant to the normal control group(P<0.01),while the expression of synovial SIRT 1 protein was significantly down-regulated(P<0.01).Following WNM intervention,the volume of the knee-joint,serum IL-1β,IL-6 and IL-8 contents and synovial NF-κB p 65 expression were significantly decreased relevant to the model group(P<0.05),and the downregulated expression of SIRT 1 protein was notably suppressed(P<0.05).No significant difference was found between the WNM and inhibitor+WNM groups in the knee-joint swelling degree(P>0.05).The contents of serum IL-1β,IL-6 and IL-8,and the expression of synovial NF-κB p 65 protein of the WNM group were significantly lower than those in the inhibitor+WNM group(P<0.05),while the expression level of SIRT 1 protein was evidently higher than that in the inhibitor+WNM group(P<0.05),suggesting the effects of WNM in down-regulating serum inflammatory cytokines and NF-κB p 65 expression,and in up-regulating SIRT 1 expression after administration of SIRT 1 inhibitor.Conclusion Warm needle moxibustion can relieve inflammatory reactions of RA rats,which may be associated to its effect in modulating SIRT 1/NF-κB p 65 signaling in the synovial tissue.
摘要:Objective To investigate the effect of electroacupuncture(EA)at"Zusanli"(ST 36)on cytoskeleton protein-Vimentin(related to smooth muscle contraction)in rats with diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome(IBS-D).Methods Sixty female Sprague-Dawley(SD)rats were randomly divided into normal,model,EA and pinaverium bromide(PB)groups(n=15/group).The IBS-D model was established by the method of high lactose feeding and chronic unpredictable mild stress.The changes of body weight,gastric emptying and small intestine propulsion rates were observed.The morphological changes of colon were observed by HE staining.And Immunohistochemical method was used to detect the expression of Vimentin protein in colon.Results The body weight,small intestine propulsion rate and expression of Vimentin protein of the model group were significantly higher than those of the normal group(all P<0.05),while the gastric emptying rate decreased(P<0.05).After treatment,the body weight and small intestine propulsion rate of the EA group and PB group decreased compared with those of the model group(all P<0.05).The gastric emptying rate was higher and the expression of Vimentin protein was lower in the EA group than those in the model group(both P<0.05).Conclusion EA at ST 36 can down-regulate the expression of Vimentin protein in colon,thus improving the gastrointestinal motility and regulating the contraction of smooth muscle cells of IBS rats.

摘要:Objective To compare the effect of manual acupuncture(MA),electroacupuncture(EA)and moxibustion interventions on intestinal motility and expression of enteric nervous activity related proteins calcitonin gene related peptide(CGRP),transient receptor potential vanilloid 1(TRPV 1)and proteinase activated receptor-4(PAR-4)in colon tissue of rats with functional constipation(FC),so as to select a better intervention method for FC.Methods Sixty male SD rats were randomly divided into blank control(n=8),model(n=11),medication(n=8),MA(n=11),EA(n=11),and moxibustion(n=11)groups.The FC model was established by gavage of suspension of loperamide hydrochlorid for 6 days.Rats of the medication group were treated by gavage of cisapride(3 mg/kg),once daily for 6 days.MA,EA or moxibustion was separately applied to bilateral"Tianshu"(ST 25)and "Shangjuxu"(ST 37)for 15 min,once daily for 6 days.The stool weight within 24 hwas measured every day,and the intestinal propulsive rate was calculated by feeding the rats with suspension fluid containing sodium carboxymethylcellulose and active carbon powder(3%)on the last day of the experiment.The expression levels of CGRP,TRPV 1 and PAR-4 proteins and genes in the colon tissue were measured by Western blot and quantitative real-time PCR,respectively.Results Compared with the control group,the stool weight within 24 hand intestinal propulsive rate were significantly decreased in the model group(P<0.01).Compared with the model group,the two indexes considerably increased in the medication,MA and EA groups(P<0.05,P<0.01),and the intestinal propulsive rate was also notably increased in the moxibustion group(P<0.05),suggesting an improvement of the intestinal motility after the treatment.The expression levels of intestinal CGRP,TRPV 1 and PAR-4 proteins and genes were significantly higher in the model group than in the control group(P<0.01),and considerably lower in the medication,MA,EA and moxibustion groups than in the model group(P<0.05,P<0.01,except the protein expression of CGRP in the moxibustion group).No significant differences were found among the medication,MA,EA and moxibustion groups in the stool weight,between the medication and EA groups and between the EA and moxibustion groups in the intestinal propulsive rate,and among medication,EA and moxibustion groups in the expression levels of TRPV 1 mRNA,and among the medication,MA and EA groups in the expression levels of CGRP,TRPV 1 and PAR-4 proteins(P>0.05).Conclusion MA,EA and moxibustion interventions can promote the intestinal motility in FC rats,which may be related to their functions in down-regulating the expression of CGRP,TRPV 1 and PAR-4 proteins and genes(except CGRP in the moxibustion group).
摘要:Objective To investigate the effect of electroacupuncture(EA)stimulation of sensitized acupoints on bowel dysfunction in diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome(D-IBS)rats.Methods Fifty SD rats were randomly divided into control,model,EA sensitized acupoint["Dachangshu"(BL 25),EA-BL 25]and EA non-sensitized acupoint["Xinshu"(BL 15),EA-BL 15]groups,with 20 rats in the model group and 10 rats in each of the other 3 groups.The D-IBS model was established by chronic restraint stress and intragastric administration of folium sennae(0.3 g/mL,10 mL/kg),once daily for 2 weeks,followed by two weeks' restraint stress stimulation.The sensitized acupoints were determined by locating the extravasation points of Evans Blue(EB)dye after tail-intravenous injection,and stimulated with EA(2 mA,2 Hz)for 30 min,once daily for 7 consecutive days.For rats of the EA non-sensitized acupoint group,bilateral BL 15 were stimulated with the same parameters and same stimulation duration.The rats' bowel mobility was evaluated by Bristol stool scale(BSS),loose stools rate and diarrhea index.Results After modeling,the BSS,loose stool rate,and diarrhea index were significantly increased in the model group relevant to the control group(P<0.05).After the treatment,the BSS,loose stool rate,and diarrhea index on day 7 were considerably lowered in the EA-BL 25 group(P<0.05)but not in EA-BL15 group(P>0.05),suggesting a better therapeutic effect of EA of the sensitized acupoint.No significant changes were found in the abovementioned 3 indexes on day 4 after the treatment relevant to the model group(P>0.05).Conclusion EA stimulation of the sensitized acupoint can improve diarrhea in D-IBS rats.
摘要:Objective To observe the effect of medicated-catgut embedding at"Changqiang"(GV 1)on regional pain reaction and expression of p 38 MAPK in the dorsal horn of spinal cord in anus incisional pain rats,so as to explore its analgesic mechanism.Methods Forty male SD rats were randomly divided into control,model,GV 1-embedding and sham acupoint embedding groups(n=10 rats in each group).The anus incisional pain model was established by making a radial incision(about 10 mm length)at the left lithotomy position of the anus with a surgical knife,and the mechanical pain threshold(PT)was measured by using a Von Frey before and 4,8,12,24 hafter operation.The medicated-catgut(about 12.5 mm length/kg body weight)was implanted in the subcutaneous tissue of GV 1 region.The immunoactivity of p 38 MAPK was determined by immunohistochemistry.Results Compared with the control group,the mechanical PTs were significantly decreased 4,8,12 and 24 h after operation both at the site of incision and about 15 mm proximal to the site of incision in the model group(P<0.05),and the immunoactivity of phosphorylated(p)-p 38 MAPK in the superficial layer of dorsal horns of lumbar spinal cord was significantly increased(24 h)after operation(P<0.05).Compared with the model group,the PTs were significantly increased 8,12 and 24 h after operation at the site of incision,and 12 hand 24 hat the site about 15 mm proximal to the incision region(P<0.05),and the immunoactivity level of p-p 38 MAPK was significantly down-regulated in the GV 1-embedding group(P<0.05).No significant changes were found in the PT and p-p 38 MAPK immunoactivity levels in the sham acupoint embedding group(P>0.05).Conclusion Medicated-catgut embedding at"Changqiang"(GV 1)has an analgesic effect in anus incisional pain model rats,which may be related to its effect in down-regulating the expression of p 38 MAPK in the dorsal horn of lumbar spinal cord.
摘要:Objective To observe the effect of manual acupuncture and electroacupuncture(EA)on ultrastructure of facial nerve Schwann cells,myelin sheath and mitochondria in facial nerve injury rabbits,so as to explore its mechanism underlying improving facial palsy.Methods A total of 50 New Zealand rabbits were randomly divided into normal,sham-operation,model,MA and EA groups(n=10 in each group).Facial nerve injury model was made by clamping the facial nerve for 5 min using apair of forceps.Manual needle stimulation(mild reinforcing-reducing)or EA(continuous wave,20 Hz)was applied to"Dicang"(ST 4),"Xiaguan"(ST 7),"Taiyang"(EX-HN 5)and "Yangbai"(GB 14)on the injured sides for 4 weeks,30 min each day.The facial nerve motion score was performed every 7 days.The ultrastructure of facial nerve was observed by electron microscope after 28 days' treatment.Results There were no significant differences in behavioral score and ultrastructure in normal and sham-operation groups(P>0.05).Compared with the normal group,facial nerve motion scores,ultrastructural morphological changes and the number of axons per unit area,myelin sheath thickness and axon area were worse in the model group(P<0.05).After treatment,facial nerve motion scores,ultrastructural morphological changes and the number of axons per unit area,myelin sheath thickness and axon area in the two treatment groups were better than those in the model group(P<0.05),and EA worked better than MA(P <0.05).Conclusion In the treatment of facial nerve injury,EA can promote axoplasmic mitochondrial proliferation,myelin sheath recovery and axonal regeneration more effectively than MA,which may be one of the mechanisms that EA therapy is superior to MA.
摘要:Objective To observe the effect of manual acupuncture stimulation(MAS)of"Baihui"(GV 20)-"Shenmen"(HT 7)or GV 20-"Sanyinjiao"(SP 6)on sleep and expression of circadian rhythm genes(Clock and Bmal 1)in the hypothalamus in insomnia rats,so as to select a better acupoint group for insomnia.Methods A total of 53 SD rats were randomly divided into normal control(n=12),insomnia model(n=8),GV 20-HT 7(n=12),GV 20-SP 6(n=11),and GV 20-non-acupoint(n=10)groups.The insomnia model was established by intraperitoneal injection of p-chlorophenylalanine(PCPA,500 mg/kg,100 mg/mL)once daily for 2 days.The MAS(uniform reinforcing-reducing needling)was applied to GV 20-HT 7,GV 20-SP 6 or GV 20-nonacupoint for 30 min,once daily for 7 days.The sleep onset latency and sleep duration were gauged after intraperitoneal injection of pentobarbital sodium(35 mg/kg).The expression levels of Clock mRNA and Bmal 1 mRNA in the hypothalamic tissues containing ventrolateral preoptic area(VLPO)and suprachiasmatic nucleus(SCN)region were detected by fluorescence quantitative realtime PCR.Results Following administration of pentobarbital sodium,the sleep latency was significantly prolonged and the sleep duration was considerably shortened in rats of the model group(P<0.05).After the treatment,the increased sleep latencies in the GV 20-HT 7,GV 20-SP 6 and GV 20-non-acupoints were all significantly down-regulated(P<0.05),and the decreased sleep duration was significantly increased only in the GV 20-HT 7 group relevant to the model group(P<0.05),but not in the GV 20-SP 6 and GV 20-non-acupoint groups(P>0.05).There were no significant differences in the sleep latency among the 3 treatment groups(P>0.05).The sleep duration was obviously prolonged in the GV 20-HT 7 group than in the GV 20-SP 6 and GV 20-nonacupoint groups(P<0.05).After modeling,the expression levels of Clock mRNA and Bmal 1 mRNA in hypothalamic VLPO and SCN regions were significantly down-regulated relevant to the normal control group(P<0.01).Following the treatment,the expression levels of Clock mRNA in the VLPO and SCN regions of the GV 20-SP 6 and GV 20-HT 7 groups,and those of Bmal 1 mRNA in the VLPO and SCN regions of the 3 treatment groups were considerably increased relevant to the model group(P<0.05,P<0.01).The effects of GV 20-HT 7 were significantly superior to those of GV 20-SP 6 and GV 20-non-acupoint(and also the action of GV 20-SP 6 was evidently superior to that of GV 20-non-acupoint)in up-regulating the expression of Clock mRNA and Bmal 1 mRNA in both VLPO and SCN regions(P<0.05,P<0.01).Conclusion Manual acupuncture stimulation of GV 20-HT 7 can improve the sleep latency and duration in insomnia rats,which may be associated with its effects in up-regulating the expression levels of circadian Clock mRNA and Bmal 1 mRNA in hypothalamic VLPO and SCN regions,and the efficacy of GV 20-HT 7 is obviously better than that of GV 20-SP 6 and GV 20-non-acupoint.

摘要:Objective To observe the effect of low-frequency or high-frequency electroacupuncture(EA)stimulation of"Neiguan"(PC 6)on changes of skin blood perfusion volume of heart-related and heart-irrelevant acupoints in rats with normal or ischemic myocardium.Methods Wistar rats were randomly divided into the control,sham-operation,model,low-frequency EA and high-frequency EA groups(n=8 in each group).The myocardial ischemic(MI)model was established by occlusion of the anterior descending branch of the left coronary artery.2 Hz and 100 Hz EA was respectively applied to left PC 6 for 20 min,once daily,a total of three times.Electrocardiogram(ECG)was recorded after the last treatment.Serum cardiac troponin T(cTnT)contents were assayed by ELISA.The skin blood perfusion volumes of bilateral PC 6,"Zusanli"(ST 36)and "Yanglingquan"(GB 34)were observed by laser speckle contrast imaging.Results In comparison with the control and sham-operation groups,the differences of"J point"and contents of serum cTnT were significantly increased in the model group(P<0.01).After EA,the differences of"J point"and contents of serum cTnT were significantly decreased in both low-frequency and high-frequency EA groups(P<0.01,P<0.05).Compared with the control group,the skin blood perfusion volumes of bilateral PC 6 and ST 36 decreased obviously in rats of the model group(P<0.01).After EA,the skin blood perfusion volumes were markedly up-regulated in the areas of PC 6 and ST 36(P<0.01).There were no significant changes in that of GB 34 among the 5 groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Skin blood perfusion volumes around PC 6 and ST 36 can specifically reflect the change of the myocardial state.

摘要:Objective To lay a foundation for meridian diagnosis by measuring the blood perfusion(BP)on yuan-source points of twelve meridians and calculating the normal range of imbalance degree(IBD)of left and right meridian(IBD-LRM),IBD of exterior-interior meridian(IBD-EIM)and IBD of hand-foot of the same name meridians(IBD-HFM)in healthy subjects.Methods BP at yuan-source points of twelve meridians was measured on 31 healthy volunteers by a Laser Doppler Line Scanner(LDLS).BP distribution and IBD-LRM,IBD-EIM,IBD-HFM were calculated.Results(1)Of the twelve meridians,BP was almost equal between the left and right of the same meridian.The mean value of IBD-LRM was(0.8±7.0)%.The absolute value of IBD-LRM ranged from(13.2±12.0)%to(22.9±15.6)%,with the mean value of(16.2±4.1)%,the IBD of gallbladder meridian of foot-shaoyang was the highest.(2)Of the six pairs of exterior-interior meridians,five pairs manifested as the interior(yin)meridians being larger than the exterior(yang)meridians in BP.The mean value of IBD-EIM was(-11.4±10.4)%.The absolute value of IBD-EIM ranged from(16.6±12.1)%to(36.6±15.6)%,with the mean value of(25.2±8.0)%,the IBD between pericardium meridian of hand-jueyin and triple energizer meridian of hand-shaoyang was the highest.(3)All of the handfoot of the same name meridians were found hand meridians being larger than foot in BP.The mean value of IBD-HFM was(38.8±18.2)%.The absolute value of IBD-HFM ranged from(34.4±20.9)%to(59.6±12.0)%,with the mean value of(43.8±13.3)%,and IBD between heart meridian of hand-shaoyin and kidney meridian of foot-shaoyin was the highest.(4)The order of IBD absolute value in BP was the same as transcutaneous CO_2 emission(TCE)measured before,and their IBD-LRM absolute values were close to each other.However,the absolute values of IBD-EIM and IBD-HFM existed some differences.Conclusion The IBD-LRM of the twelve yuan-source points in BP of healthy subjects is small and in a balance state,but IBD-EIM and IBD-HFM are relatively high.
摘要:Objective To observe the dynamic changes of ultrosonographic images of Zusanli(ST 36)area during Deqi after inserting acupuncture needles,so as to provide objective evidence for clinical Deqi.Methods Sixty healthy volunteers(30 men and 30 women)were recruited in the present study.The subjects were asked to take a supine position on a test-bed,sterilized disposable filiform needles were perpendicularly inserted into bilateral ST 36 till Deqi(without lifting,thrusting and twirling),when,high-resolution ultrasound scanning was conducted over the regional skeletal muscles by using a radio-frequency(5-12 MHz)coil probe(Philips IU Elite Ultrasound Diagnostic Instrument)after smearing a layer of gel at the skin of ST 36.Results Among these 120 points of the 60 volunteer subjects,a marked Deqi was obtained from 108 points(consisting of 90%)including52 points in men and 56 in women,and 53 at the left ST 36 and 56 at the right ST 36.Ultrosonographic scanning displayed that when a strongest Deqi feeling was obtained from bilateral ST 36 in these 60 volunteers,the acupuncture needle-tip was about(25.32±5.82)mm in the vertical depth,and was(5.45±0.55)mm lateral to the tibia,involving the anterior tibial muscle near the deep fascia in 46 acupoints,and the intersection fascia of anterior tibial muscle and extensor digitorum longus in 62 acupoints.Conclusion The anterior tibial muscle near the deep fascia and the intersection fascia of anterior tibial muscle and extensor digitorum longus around ST 36 are involved in strongest Deqi.There are no significant differences in the gender and location(left and right).
摘要:Objective To evaluate the efficacy of the proprioceptive sensibility reflexotherapy by tendon acupuncture needling at trigger points for patients with proprioceptive disorder of cervical vertigo.Methods Seventy-nine patients with proprioceptive disorder of cervical vertigo were randomly assigned into a treatment group(42 cases)and a control group(37 cases).Patients in the treatment group received the proprioceptive sensibility reflexotherapy with tendon acupuncture at trigger points in the neck.And those in the control group were given traditional traction,massage and intermediate frequency electro therapy.All the treatment was given for 2 courses,once a day and 10 days as a course.The cervical vertigo symptom and function,the joint position error(JPE)and stability index(ST)before and after treatment were observed in the two groups and the effects were evaluated.Results The cervical vertigo symptom and function were improved,JPE and ST decreased after treatment in the two groups(all P<0.05),with better results in the treatment group(all P<0.05).Conclusion The proprioceptive sensibility reflexotherapy with tendon acupuncture at trigger points is effective for proprioceptive disorder of cervical vertigo.

摘要:Research on the imaging of acupoint sensitization is inadequate,especially at the microcirculation level.Photoacoustic imaging is one of the main techniques used in microcirculation imaging,and has the characteristics of high contrast,high detection depth and high sensitivity for tissue function.In the present paper the authors briefly introduce photoacoustic imaging and review research advances in photoacoustic imaging of microcirculation from the aspects of structure and function.The photoacoustic technique can three-dimensionally image and quantitatively examine microcirculation structure to the depth of interest tissues with high spatial resolution,and can dynamically measure total hemoglobin concentration and its oxygenation level,blood flow velocity,oxygen metabolism level,vasoconstriction,vasodilation,and hemodynamics of a target vessel in real time.Based on these factors,the prospects of the application of photoacoustic imaging are debated.The authors propose that photoacoustic imaging is appropriate for research on the sensitization of microcirculation in acupoints and can be applied to sensitized acupoints locally or in the brain,which is expected to further determine characteristic changes in the microcirculation of sensitized acupoints and enrich the specific connotation of the central sensitization of acupoints.
摘要:It has been known for thousands of years that acupuncture can relieve pain.However,the efficacy of acupuncture analgesia(AA)now has to be reconsidered due to negative reports from western countries.In the present study,the possible correlation between caffeine and the difference in AA in China and western countries was determined using the following factors:1)caffeine and pain;2)adenosine,adenosine receptor and caffeine;3)AA and caffeine.As a non-selective antagonist of the adenosine receptor,caffeine at low doses can be used as an adjuvant analgesic,and can augment antinociception combined with other analgesics.Caffeine can act as an important neural modulator,and adenosine can produce antinociception when combined with the A1 receptor located in spinal,supraspinal and peripheral tissue.A preclinical study demonstrated that caffeine at moderate doses could inhibit AA efficacy following plantar incision surgery in a mouse model.Caffeine is present in various foods,especially coffee,and approximately 85% of adults in western countries consume coffee regularly.Therefore,by reconsidering the correlation between caffeine,adenosine receptor and AA,and by determining the possible relationship between caffeine intake habits and AA efficacy,these findings will demonstrate the differences in AA between Chinese and western populations.
摘要:Myocardial cell apoptosis is very common in the clinic,and is caused by myocardial ischemia reperfusion injury(MIRI).There are different degrees of cell apoptosis in MIRI.However,initiation of the signal transduction mechanism of myocardial cell apoptosis is unclear.The present research confirmed that acupuncture and moxibustion are effective interventions for cell apoptosis in MIRI through three approaches:the death receptor pathway,mitochondrial pathway and endoplasmic reticulum pathway.In this paper,the authors summarize the mechanism characteristics of acupuncture and moxibustion in MIRI cell apoptosis,and discuss the signal transduction pathways involved in the effects of acupuncture and moxibustion in MIRI cell apoptosis,in order to provide new ideas and evidence for the clinical application of acupuncture and moxibustion to prevent cell apoptosis in MIRI.

摘要:Objective To determine the rules of acupoints and meridians selection for dysmenorrhea based on data mining.Methods The literature on acupuncture treatment of dysmenorrhea was reviewed and a database of dysmenorrhea prescriptions regarding the main points of acupuncture was established with Excel 2003 software,using the relevance rule and cluster analysis methods in data mining technology to analyze the characteristics and laws in acupuncture prescription.Results One hundred and fourteen acupuncture prescriptions were included.The highest frequency of acupoint,meridian and location was Sanyinjiao(SP 6),Spleen Meridian,lower limb knee and below knee,respectively.The results of relevance rule indicated that the highest confidence for acupoint combination was SP 6-Taichong(LR 3),the highest support for acupoint combination was SP 6-Guanyuan(CV 4),and the results of cluster analysis showed that there were three effective cluster groups.Conclusion The combination of SP 6-LR 3-CV 4 can be applied in the clinic to cure dysmenorrhea,and Zusanli(ST 36),Ciliao(BL 32),Zhongji(CV 3)can be matched based on syndrome differentiation.
