      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of electroacupuncture(EA)on mechanical pain transition and content of protein kinase C epsilon(PKC_ε)in dorsal root ganglia(DRG)in inflammatory articular pain rats,so as to explore its peripheral mechanism underlying relieving transition from acute to chronic pain.Methods 1)In the first part of the present study,male SD rats were equally randomized into blank control,sham hyperalgesic priming(HP),and real HP groups(n=6 in each).The HP model was established by subcutaneous injection of 1%carrageenan(100μL)into the left hind paw(the first injection),followed by injection of PGE 2(100 ng/25μL,the second injection)into the dorsum pedis of the same hind paw 7 days after the first injection.The mechanical withdrawal threshold(MWT)of the ipsilateral paw was detected before and 4,24,48,72 h,and 7 dafter the first injection,and 1,4,24 and 48 hafter the second injection.2)In the second part,SD rats were randomly divided into sham-HP,real HP,sham-EA and EA groups(n=6 in each).The sham-HP and HP models were made in the same way as those in the first part.Bilateral"Zusanli"(ST 36)and "Kunlun"(BL 60)were punctured with filiform needles and also stimulated with electrical current:2 Hz/100 Hz,0.5-1.5 mA(0.5 mA increase per 10 min)for 30 min,1 time/d from the 1 st carrageenan injection on till the end of the experiments.PKC_εprotein expression in the L 4-L 6 DRGs was assayed by Western blot 48 hafter the second injection.Results 1)In the first part of the study,compared with the sham-HP group,the MWT at 4,24、48 hafter carrageenan injection and 4,24 and 48 h after PGE 2 injection were significantly decreased in the HP model group(P<0.01).2)In the second part,compared with the HP group,the MWT at 24、48 and 72 hafter carrageenan injection,and 24 and 48 hafter PGE 2 injection were significantly up-regulated in the EA group(P<0.05,P<0.01).3)The relative content of PKC_εin the DRGs(L 4-L 6)was significantly higher in the HP group than in the sham-HP group(P<0.01),but considerably lower in the EA group than in the HP group(P<0.01). Conclusion EA has a good effect on pain conversion in inflammatory joint pain rats,which may be related to its effect in down-regulating the PKC_εlevel in the ipsilateral lumbar DRGs.

      摘要:Objective To observe the impact of catgut embedding on histopathological changes and expression of phosphorylated-Janus kinase-2(p-JAK 2),phosphorylated-signal transducer and activator of transcription 3(p-STAT 3),Cyclin D 1,Bcl-2,and suppressor of cytokine signaling(SOCS)of the gastric mucosa in chronic atrophic gastritis(CAG)rats,so as to explore its mechanisms underlying improving CAG.Methods Forty-one SD rats were randomly divided into normal(n=12),model(n=9),natural recovery(n=10)and catgut embedding(n=10)groups.The CAG model was established by free drinking of N-methyl-N'-nitro-N-nitroso-guanidine(MNNG)solution(100μg/mL)and irregular diet for 24 weeks.Catgut embedding was applied at bilateral"Zusanli"(ST 36),"Pishu"(BL 20)and"Zhongwan"(CV 12),once every 10 days,6 times altogether.The histopathological changes of the gastric mucosa were observed by naked eye and light microscope after H.E.staining.Wes-tern blot was used to detect the expression of p-JAK 2,p-STAT 3,CyclinD 1,Bcl-2 and SOCS 3 proteins in the gastric antrum tissue.Results After modeling,the regional gastric tissue showed pale thinner gastric wall,and poorer elasticity with fewer plica,congestion of blood vessels,reduction of regional glands with necrosis and disordered arrangement as well as evident hyperplasia of the connective tissue,which was evidently milder in the catgut embedding group.Compared with the normal group,the expression levels of p-JAK 2,p-STAT 3,CyclinD 1,Bcl-2,SOCS 3 proteins were significantly up-regulated in both model group and natural recovery group(P<0.01),without significant differences between the latter two groups(P>0.05).After catgut embedding intervention,the expression levels of p-JAK 2,p-STAT 3,Cyclin D 1,Bcl-2 proteins were considerably down-regulated(P<0.01),and that of SOCS 3 protein was notably further increased relevant to the natural recovery group(P<0.01).Conclusion Catgut embedding may improve pathological changes of gastric mucosa in CAG rats,which possibly associated with its effects in up-regulating gastric SOCS 3 protein expression and in inhibiting the activation of JAK 2-STAT 3 signaling pathway to reduce the expression of CyclinD 1 and Bcl-2 proteins.

      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of moxibustion on Toll-like receptor 4/nuclear factor-κB(TLR 4/NF-κB)signaling in the synovial tissue of the ankle joint in rats with rheumatoid arthritis(RA),so as to analyze its biological mechanism underlying improvement of RA.Methods Fifty male SD rats were randomly divided into normal control,model,moxibustion,moxibustion+ TLR 4 agonist,and moxibustion+ TLR 4 antagonist groups(n=10 rats in each).The RA model was established by subcutaneous injection of Freund's complete adjuvant(FCA,0.1 mL/rat)at the right hind-paw and by being raised in a wind(air fan blowing),cold(about 10℃)and wet(purling)environment for 20 days.After 3 days of modeling,mild moxibustion was applied to bilateral"Shenshu"(BL 23)and"Zusanli"(ST 36)for 20 minutes,once daily for successive 10 days.The TLR 4 agonist(lipopolysaccharide)or TLR 4 antagonist(TAK-242)(1 mg/mL)was separately administered via the tail vein 30 min before performing moxibustion every time in the agonist group and the antagonist group.The expression of NF-κB inhibitory factorɑ(IκBɑ),IκB kinase complexβ(IκKβ),myeloid differentiation factor 88(MyD 88),TLR 4,and NF-κB p 65 proteins in the synovial tissue of the ankle joint was detected by using Western blot.Results Following modeling,the girth of the swollen ankle joint was obviously bigger(P<0.01),and the expression levels of IκBɑ,IκKβ,TLR 4,MyD 88,and NF-κB p 65 proteins in the synovial tissue were considerably increased in the model group relevant to the normal control group(P<0.01).After moxibustion intervention,the girth of the swollen ankle joint and the expression levels of IκBɑ,IκKβ,TLR 4,MyD 88,and NF-κB p 65 proteins were significantly down-regulated in the moxibustion,moxibustion+TLR 4 agonist,moxibustion+TLR 4 antagonist groups compared with the model group(P<0.01,P<0.05).Comparison among the 3 moxibustion groups showed that the lowered levels of ankle-joint girth,and IκBɑ,IκKβ,TLR 4,MyD 88,and NF-κB p 65 expression were significantly smaller in the moxibustion+TLR 4 agonist group than in the simple moxibustion and moxibustion+TLR 4 antagonist groups(P<0.05,P<0.01).No significant differences were found between the moxibustion and moxibustion+TLR 4 antagonist groups in the decreased ankle joint girth and IκBɑ,IκKβ,TLR 4,MyD 88,and NF-κB p 65 expression levels(P>0.05),suggesting that activation of TLR 4 reduced the anti-inflammatory effect of moxibustion intervention.Conclusion Moxibustion can reduce the ankle joint swelling in RA rats,which may be closely associated with its effect in down-regulating the expression of IκBɑ,IκKβ,TLR 4,MyD 88,and NF-κB p 65 proteins and in inhibiting TLR 4/NF-κB signaling in the synovial tissue of the ankle joint.

      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of acupuncture and moxibustion(AM)on learning-memory ability and expression of amyloid beta(Aβ)in the hippocampal dentate gyrus(DG)of Alzheimers disease(AD)rats,so as to explore its mechanism underlying improvement of AD. Method Forty male Wistar rats were randomly divided into normal,sham operation,model and AM groups(n=10 in each).The AD model was established by bilateral hippocampal injection of Aβ_(1-42)(5 μL).The AM was applied at"Baihui"(GV 20)and"Shenshu"(BL 23)for 15 min,once daily for 12 times.Morris water maze tests were used to assess the rats' learning-memory ability.The levels of serum Aβ_(1-42) and Aβinternalizing enzymes including transthyretin(TTR),lipoprotein lipase(LPL),alpha 2 macroglobulin(α_2 M)and apolipoprotein E(ApoE)were detected by ELISA.The expression of Aβ_(1-42) in the hippocampal DG was detected by immunohistochemistry.Results Compared with the sham operation group,the average escape latency of location navigation test was significantly prolonged in the first 5 days and the last 3 days(P<0.01),and the residence time of the target-quadrant and the platform crossing times of special probing task were significantly reduced in the model group(P<0.01).After the intervention,the average escape latency was obviously shortened in the first 5 days and the last 3 days(P<0.01),and both the residence time and the platform crossing times were significantly increased in the AM group relevant to the model group(P<0.01,P<0.05).After modeling,the contents of TTR,LPL,α_2 M and ApoE in the serum were significantly lower in the model group than in the sham operation group(P<0.01,P<0.05),while the levels of serum Aβ_(1-42) and hippocampal Aβ_(1-42) expression were considerably increased relevant to the sham operation group(P<0.01).Following the intervention,the TTR,LPL,α_2 M and ApoE contents in the serum were significantly increased(P<0.01,P<0.05),and both serum Aβ_(1-42) and hippocampal Aβ_(1-42) expression were notably down-regulated in comparison with the model group(P<0.05).No significant differences were found between the normal and sham operation groups in the levels of all the abovementioned indexes(P>0.05).Conclusion AM can improve the learning-memory ability of AD rats,which may be related to its effects in up-regulating the contents of serum Aβinternalizing enzymes and promoting the clearance of hippocampal Aβ.It suggests a protective role of AM on hippocampal neurons.

      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of electroacupuncture(EA)on ischemic electrocardiogram(ECG),histopathological changes and serum metabolite profile in chronic myocardial ischemia(CMI)rats,so as to reveal its mechanisms underlying protecting ischemic myocardium.Methods A total of 45 male Wistar rats were randomly divided into normal control,CMI model and EA groups,with 15 rats being in each group.The rats in the control group received subcutaneous injection of 0.9%normal saline(5 mg·mg(-1)·d(-1)·d(-1),for 7 days),and those in the model and EA groups received subcutaneous injection of isopropylarterenol hydrochloride(5 mg·mg(-1),for 7 days),and those in the model and EA groups received subcutaneous injection of isopropylarterenol hydrochloride(5 mg·mg(-1)·d(-1)·d(-1),for 7 days)to establish CMI model.EA(2 Hz/100 Hz,1 mA)was applied to bilateral"Zusanli"(ST 36),"Guanyuan"(CV 4)and"Neiguan"(PC 6)for 10 min,once daily for 21 days.The ECG-ST segment of the standard limb lead II was used for evaluating the severity of myocardial ischemia,and the histopathological changes of myocardium were observed under microscope after H.E.staining.The profile of serum metabolites was analyzed by nuclear magnetic resonance mass spectrometry combined with principal component analysis(PCA)and partial least squares discriminant analysis(PLS-DA)in 21 rats(n=7 in each group).Results After modeling,the amplitude of ECG-ST was significantly increased in comparison with the normal control group(P<0.01),suggesting a successful establishment of CMI model.H.E.stain showed an apparent injury of the myocardial tissue as interstitial edema,vasodilatation and hemorrhage,infiltration of inflammatory cells,unclear veins,and increased intercellular space,etc.with irregularly arranged myocardial cells being dissolved,ruptured and necrotic,and with obvious edema,blurred shape,uneven staining,karyopyknosis,and glass-like lesions.After EA intervention,the amplitude of ECG-ST in the EA group was evidently lower than that of the model group(P<0.01),and the severity of the myocardial injury was relatively milder relevant to the model group,suggesting an alleviation of the injured myocardium.In the PLS-DA score plot,the normal control group and the EA group outline were close to each other,and Glucose,Lactate,Creatine,Acetate,3-Hydroybutyrate might be the potential metabolic differential biomarkers(VIP > 1).The PLS-DA analysis revealed deviations in 51 differential biomarkers in serum,among which,Glucose,Lactate,Creatine,Acetate and 3-Hydroybutyrate may contribute to the effect of EA in improving CMI.Conclusion EA stimulation of acupoints can ameliorate ischemic myocardial injury in CMI rats,which may be related to its effect in regulating serum sugar,lipid metabolism and energy metabolism.

      摘要:Objective To investigate the effect of acupuncture intervention on the depression behavior and expression of extracellular signal-regulated protein kinases(ERK 1/2),p-ERK 1/2 and brain-derived neurotrophic factor(BDNF)in the prefrontal cortex of chronic unpredictable mild stress(CUMS)induced depression rats,so as to explore its antidepressant mechanism.Methods Sixty-four male SD rats were randomly divided into control,model,acupuncture,Fluoxetine,model+ Dimethyl sulfoxide(DMSO),model+ PD 98059(an ERK pathway inhibitor),acupuncture+ PD 98059 and Fluoxetine+ PD 98059 groups(n=8 rats in each).The CUMS depression model was established by using chronic mild and unpredictable stress methods for 21 days.Manual acupuncture stimulation was applied to"Baihui"(GV 20)and"Yintang"(GV 29)for 10 min before modeling,once daily for 21 days.Fluoxetine hydrochloride suspension(1.8 mg·kg(-1)·d(-1)·d(-1))was given to rats of the Fluoxetine group and Fluoxetine+ PD 98059 group by gavage 30 min before CUMS.PD 98059(dissolved in DMSO,10 μL)was administered to rats of model+ PD 98059 group,acupuncture+ PD 98059 and Fluoxetine+ PD 98059 group,and DMSO(10μL)to rats of model+DMSO group by intracerebroventricular injection 1 hbefore CUMS.Sucrose consumption test was carried out to evaluate the depressive behavior.Western blot was performed to detect the expression of ERK 1/2,p-ERK 1/2 and BDNF of prefrontal cortex.Results Compared with the control group,the sucrose consumption and the expression levels of p-ERK 1/2 and BDNF protein in the prefrontal cortex were significantly reduced in the model and model+DMSO group(P<0.01).After the intervention,modeling induced decrease of the sucrose consumption,and p-ERK 1/2 and BDNF expression was significantly up-regulated in both acupuncture and Fluoxetine groups(P<0.01,P<0.05),but not in the model+PD 98059,Fluoxetine+PD 98059 and acupuncture+PD 98059 groups(P>0.05).No significant differences were found among the model+PD 98059,Fluoxetine+PD 98059 and acupuncture+PD 98059 groups in the sucrose consumption,and ERK 1/2,p-ERK 1/2 and BDNF expression levels(P>0.05),and in the expression levels of ERK 1/2 protein among the 8 groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Acupuncture intervention has an anti-depressive role in CUMS induced depression rats,which may be related to its effects in up-regulating the expression of p-ERK 1/2 and BDNF in the prefrontal cortex tissue.

      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of deep electroacupuncture(EA)at"Huantiao"(GB 30)on functional and pathological changes of the damaged sciatic nerve and apoptosis-related factors in lumbar dorsal root ganglia(DRGs)in rats,so as to study its mechanisms underlying relieving sciatica.Methods Forty-eight SD rats were randomly divided into normal,model,deep EA(DEA)and shallow EA(SEA)groups(n=12 in each group).The sciatic nerve injury model was established by silicone tube extrusion of the sciatic nerve stem.For DEA group,acupuncture needles were inserted into GB 30 about 8 mm deep to induce nerve impulse under the guidance of high-frequency ultrasound,and the needles were inserted into GB 30 about 3—5 mm in the SEA group.The EA treatment was applied to bilateral GB 30 for 20 min beginning from the 15 th day on after modeling,once daily for 14 days.The sciatic nerve function index(SFI)and motor nerve conduction velocity(MNCV)were recorded and calculated.Pathological changes of the sciatic nerve were displayed by H.E.staining.The cell apoptosis and expression of PI 3 Kand AKT proteins in lumbar 4—5 DRGs were detected by TUNEL staining,and immunohistochemistry,respectively.Results In comparison with the normal group,the SFI and MNCV were significantly decreased(P<0.01,P<0.05),the number of neuronal apoptosis and the expression of PI 3 Kand AKT in L 4—L 5 DRGs were significantly increased in the model group(P<0.05).Following the treatment,the SFI,MNCV,and the number of neuronal apoptosis were reversed compared with the model group(P<0.01,P<0.05),both PI 3 Kand AKT expression levels were significantly up-regulated in both DEA and SEA groups(P<0.05).The therapeutic effects were significantly better in the DEA group than in the SEA group in down-regulating cell apoptosis number and in up-regulating SFI,MNCV,and PI 3 Kand AKT protein expression on day 28 of modeling(P<0.01,P<0.05).Conclusion Deep EA at GB 30 can activate PI 3 K-AKT signaling pathway,inhibit the apoptosis of nerve cells in DRGs after sciatic nerve injury in rats,which may contribute to its effect in improving neurological impairment.

      摘要:Objective To compare differences of extracellular fluid impedance(Re)and intracellular fluid impedance(Ri)between the Stomach(ST)Meridian or Gallbladder(GB)Meridian and their neighboring non-meridian sites of the left lower leg at the same level,so as to explore the distribution characteristics of body fluid in the meridian.Methods Sixteen healthy volunteers were enrolled in the present study.The Re and Ri were detected by using Ag/AgCl electrodes and a digital lock-in amplifier.The measuring electrodes(at an interval of about 3 cm)were separately fixed to the skin sites covering the running courses of the ST Meridian(in the lateral interspace of the anterior tibial muscle)and the GB Meridian(in the interspace of the anterior edge of the fibula),and the excitation electrodes(at an interval of about 9 cm)respectively fixed to the skin sites covering the anterior tibial muscle and the interspace between the anterior tibial muscle and the tibia(about 2 cm and 5 cm lateral to the ST and GB meridians,and about 3-4 cm and 6-8 cm lateral to the ST and GB meridians,respectively).A 100!A constant current with frequencies from 1 kHz to 100 kHz delivered via an excitation electrode was applied to the site(control spots of the ST Meridian),and signals of the voltage amplitude and phase difference of the tissues fed to the lock-in amplifier via the measuring electrode were collected,followed by measuring those of the GB Meridian and control sites.The circumference of the lower leg around the two excitation and measuring electrodes was measured.Then the cole-cole curve fitting was performed to calculate the Ri and Re,as well as the intracellular fluid resistivity(ρi)and extracellular fluid resistivity(ρe)of the ST and GB meridians,the related muscles and interspace lateral to ST or GB(ST/GB)meridians at the same level.Results The Ri and Re(Ω)values of the ST,GB,the muscle lateral to ST/GB and the interspace lateral to ST/GB were 19.1±1.3 and 28.3±1.4,15.8±1.9 and 25.7±2.0,19.6±1.3 and 31.3±1.6,and 19.4±1.2 and 32.4±1.6,respectively.The Re values were significantly lower at the ST and GB meridians than at the muscle lateral to and the interspace lateral to both meridians(P<0.05).Theρi andρe values(Ω·cm)of the ST,GB,the muscle lateral to and the interspace lateral to ST/GB were 658.9±78.5 and 953.8±75.3,528.0±90.1 and833.9±101.7,669.9±71.8 and 1 059.8±86.0,655.9±64.8 and 1 099.3±93.3,respectively.Theρi andρe values were significantly lower at the GB Meridian Than at the other three locntions,and theρe value of ST Meridian was significantly lower than those of the muscle lateral to and the interspace lateral to ST/GB meridians(P<0.01).Conclusion The Ri,Re,ρi andρe values of the ST and GB meridians are significantly lower than those of their neighboring tissues at the same levels of the lower leg,suggesting a more extracellular fluid in the meridian running course and providing evidence for our speculation that the meridian is a hydraulic resistance channel.

      摘要:Objective To evaluate the immediate effect of moxibustion at Shenshu(BL 23)on renal hemodynamics in patients with chronic kidney disease(CKD).Methods Thirty-two non-dialysis patients with CKD were recruited in this study.Moxibustion was applied at bilateral BL 23 for 30 min.The peak systolic velocity(PSV),end diastolic velocity(EDV)of the interlobar renal artery were measured by Doppler ultrasonography(US)before,and 0 and 15 min after moxibustion.The renal resistance index(RI)was equal to(PSV-EDV)/PSV.The body temperature(T),systolic blood pressure(SBP),diastolic blood pressure(DBP),heart rate(HR)were also monitored at the same time points.Results After moxibustion,the EVD level at 15 min after moxibustion was significantly increased(P<0.05),and the renal RI levels at 0 and 15 min after moxibustion were significantly down-regulated in comparison with their own pre-treatment(P<0.01).No significant changes were found in the levels of PSV,T,SBP,DBP and HR after moxibustion(P>0.05).Conclusion Moxibustion at BL 23 can increase EDV and reduce renal RI of the interlobar renal artery in patients with CKD,which may be useful in relieving kidney disorders by improving renal blood flow.

      摘要:Objective To compare the difference of therapeutic efficacy of electroacupuncture(EA)stimulation of abdominal acupoints and limb acupoints in the treatment of acute pancreatitis(AP),so as to provide a reference for EA treatment of AP.Methods A total of 60 patients with AP were equally and randomly divided into abdominal acupoint group and limb acupoint group.On the basis of retention enema of Chaiqin Chengqi Decoction(containing Radix Bupleurum,Radix Scutellaria,etc.),and abdominal external application of Liuhe Powder ointment(containing Cinnabaris,pearl powder,etc.),patients of the two groups were also treated with acupuncture stimulation of acupoints at the abdomen or limbs.The abdominal acupoints were Shangwan(CV 13),Zhongwan(CV 12),Xiawan(CV 10),Liangmen(ST 21,left),Taiyi(ST 23,left),Chengman(ST 20,left),Fu'ai(SP 16,left),Yindu(KI 19,right),and the limb acupoints were Hegu(LI 4),Neiguan(PC 6),Zusanli(ST 36),Shangjuxu(ST 37),Xiajuxu(ST 39),and Yinlingquan(SP 9)which were punctured with filiform needles by retaining the needles for 30 min after twirling for a while.CV 12-ST 21,CV 10-SP 16 of the abdomen group,and bilateral PC 6 and ST 36 of the limb group were administered EA(2 Hz/15 Hz,1 mA and duration of 30 min).The treatment was conducted once daily for 5 days.The abdominal pain severity and distension severity were assessed using the visual analogue scale(VAS),and the abdominal girth was measured by using a soft ruler.Results Following the treatment,the abdominal pain and distension symptom scores in the lightest and most severe phases of AP and the abdominal girth levels were considerably decreased on the 5 th day in the two groups in comparison with their own pre-treatment in the same one group(P <0.05);and the abdominal pain scores on the 2 (nd),3 (nd),3 (rd) and4 (rd) and4 (th) day in the lightest phase,and those on the 2 (th) day in the lightest phase,and those on the 2 (nd),3 (nd),3 (rd),4 (rd),4 (th) and 5 th day in the most severe phase were markedly lower in the abdomen acupoint group than in the limb acupoint group(P<0.05).No significant differences were found between two groups in the abdominal distension symptom scores and abdominal circumference levels in the lightest and most severe phases of AP(P>0.05).In addition,no adverse events were found in both groups.Conclusion EA has a good curative effect in the treatment of AP patients.The curative effect of acupuncture of the abdominal acupoints is significantly superior to that of limb acupoints in relieving abdominal pain.

      摘要:Objective To investigate the effect of balance acupuncture combined with motor relearning training on lower limb motor function in stroke patients with hemiplegia.Methods Eighty stroke patients were randomly assigned to motor relearning training group and balance acupuncture plus motor relearning group(n=40 cases in each).The motor relearning training program consisting of upper-limb functional training,lying supine,bedside sitting,sitting-balancing,standing up and down,standingbalancing,walking,orofacial functional training,etc.was given to patients of the two groups.Balance acupuncture stimulating was applied to Piantan-,Jiantong-,Xitong-,Tuntong-and Huaitong-points for 30 min,once daily,5 times a week for 8 weeks.The lower limb motor performance ability was assessed by using Fugl-Meyer Assessment(FMA-L)scale,the balance function assessed by using Berg balance scale(BBS),the motor ability evaluated by using Rivermead motor index(RMI),and the gait(walking speed,cadence,and step length)evaluated by using Brunnstrom hemiplegia gait evaluation scale.Results After the treatment,the scores of FMA-L,BBS,RMI and hemiplegia gait were significantly increased in the two groups compared with their own pre-treatment(P<0.05),and were significantly higher in the balance acupuncture plus motor relearning group than in the motor relearning training group(P<0.05).Conclusion The balance acupuncture combined with motor relearning can improve lower limb motor function and balance function,and has a better effect than simple motor relearning training.

      摘要:Objective To analyze the factors influencing the therapeutic effect of"Shoulder Tri-needles therapy"in the treatment of shoulder-hand syndrome of stroke patients by using machine learning approach,so as to provide a feasibility for improving clinical efficacy.Methods A total of 586 stroke patients with shoulder-hand syndrome eligible for this study were involved in our machine learning experiments for classification of the influential factors.Their data including the age,gender,pulse condition,complexion,tongue quality,tongue coating,disease stage,body mass index(BMI),blood pressure,blood glucose,blood triglyceride,blood total cholesterol,smoking history,drinking history,and final outcomes were extracted from the medical record system(from Oct.of 2014 to Jan.of 2017 in the First Affiliated Hospital and Shenzhen Futian Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine).The single rule algorithm(1 R)was adopted to learn,followed by optimization with Repeated Incremental Pruning to Produce Error Reduction(RIPPER)algorithm,and C 5.0 decision tree algorithm.Results The accurate classification rates of 1 R,RIPPER and decision tree model were 87.37%(512/586),95.90%(562/586),and 97.10%(569/586),respectively.The final outcomes of machine learning of this study showed that the disease stage(acute or recovery stage),complexion difference,tongue coating difference,blood pressure level,consumption of alcohol,BMI,and smoking habit were the most important factors influencing the therapeutic effect of"Shoulder Tri-needles"in the treatment of shoulder-hand syndrome of stroke patients.Conclusion The disease stage,complexion and tongue identification,blood pressure level,alcohol drinking and smoking habits,and BMI are the principal factors affecting the therapeutic effect of"Shoulder Tri-needles therapy"in the treatment of shoulder-hand syndrome of stroke patients.

      摘要:Objective Moxibustion is one of the commonly used therapy of traditional Chinese medicine by applying burning dried mugwort on particular acupoints of the body surface.In the present paper,we reviewed progress of researches about the mechanisms of moxibustion treatment undering imporvement of blood circulation in recent 15 years.Research results displayed that moxibustion can dilate blood vessels to increase blood flow and improve microcirculation,not only in the local superficial vessels of body,but also in the deep tissues as the brain,stomach and mesentery,kidney,heart,etc.,as well as in the distal blood vessels.The vasodilator action of moxibustion stimulation is related to nerve regulation,endothelium derived relaxing factors and vasodilator mediator,etc.through 1)interaction of acetylcholine(Ach)/muscarinic receptor(MR)and noradrenaline(NE)/α-orβ-receptor;2)nitric oxide synthase(NOS)/NO/arachidonic acid/prostacyclin(PGI2)/endothelium-derived hyperpolarizing factor(EDHF)pathway;3)EDHF/TRPV 4/KCa channel,cytochrome P 450 oxidase/epoxyeicosatrienoicacid(EET);4)EET/TRPV 4/big conductance calcium-activated potassium channel(BKCa);5)sulfuretted hydrogen(H2 S)/ATP-sensitive potassium channel(KATP)or voltage-gated potassium channels(Kv 7);6)NO/substance P(SP)or CGRP and adrenergicβ2 receptor(R)/TRPV 1/adenosin A 1 Rand A 2 R/NK 1 Rpathway;7)PGI2/adenylyl cyclase(cAMP)/PKA and vasoactive intestinal peptide(VIP),etc.in the vascular endothelium and smooth muscle.These research results may help us understand the effects and mechanisms of moxibustion in the treatment of different clinical conditions by improving microcirculation.

      摘要:The meridian tropism of acupoints is an important academic way to recognize and deal with the relationship between acupoints and meridians in acupuncture medicine.The Huatuo Jiaji(EX-B 2)(Jiaji for short)acupoint family consisting of 34 points has long been considered to be an important extra-acupoint since the ancient times of China and is widely employed in clinical practice through continuous development in Chinese past generations.The present paper introduces 1)historical origin and development of EX-B 2,and 2)intercorrelation among the EX-B 2,spine and the Governor Vessel in anatomical positions.On the basis of these,we also discuss the possibility of that EX-B 2 is assigned to the Governor Vessel,its academic significance including common features and actions in physiological and pathological aspects and clinical significance in diagnosis and treatment of disorders.
