      摘要:Objective To investigate the effect of acupuncture plus moxibustion on learning-memory ability and expression of hippocampal Janus kinase-2(JAK2)/signal transducer and activator of transcription-3(STAT3)/suppressors of cytokine signaling-3(SOCS3)signaling in Alzheimer's Disease(AD)rats,so as to reveal their mechanisms underlying improvement of AD.Methods A total of 60 SD rats were randomly divided into four groups:normal control,sham-operation,model and acupuncture-moxibustion(Acu-moxi,n=15 in each group)groups.The AD model was established by microinjection ofβ-amyloid 1-42(Aβ1-42,5!L)into the bilateral hippocampus.Seven days after modeling,Acu-moxi intervention was given.After insertion of acupuncture needles into"Baihui"(GV20)and bilateral"Shenshu"(BL23)and manipulating them for a while,the needles were then retained for 15 min,when,the mild moxibustion was performed at the same time.The treatment was conducted once daily,5 times a week for consecutive 4 weeks.After the treatment,Morris water maze test was used to detect the animals' learning-memory ability.Immunohistochemistry and Western blot were respectively used to detect the number of positive cells and protein expression levels of JAK2,STAT3 and SOCS3 in the hippocampus tissue.Results Following modeling and compared with the normal control and sham-operation groups,the average escape latency was significantly prolonged(P<0.01),and the number of the original platform crossing and the residence time in the platform quadrant were significantly shortened in the model group(P<0.01).The numbers of hippocampal JAK2-and STAT3-positive cells and expression levels of hippocampal JAK2 and STAT3 proteins were significantly increased(P<0.01),and the number of hippocampal SOCS3-positive cells as well as the expression of SOCS3 protein significantly decreased in the model group relevant to the normal control and sham-operation groups(P<0.01).After the intervention,the average escape latency was significantly shortened(P<0.01),and the number of the original platform crossing and the residence time in the platform quadrant were significantly increased in the Acu-moxi group(P<0.01),and the expression levels of JAK2 and STAT3 were significantly down-regulated and that of SOCS3 was considerably up-regulated in the Acu-moxi group relevant to the model group(P<0.01).Conclusion Acu-moxi intervention can improve the learning-memory ability in AD rats,which is associated with its functions in inhibiting hippocampal JAK2/STAT3 signaling and up-regulating SOCS3(a negative feedback factor)protein level.

      摘要:Objective To compare the different effect of electroacupuncture(EA)at"Zusanli"(ST36)and"Chize"(LU5)of mother rats exposed to Nicotine during pregnancy and lactation on lung function and morphological changes in offspring rats,so as to explore the most effective acupoint for improving the development of lung in neonatal rats.Methods A total of 24 female pregnancy SD rats were randomly divided into 4 groups:normal control,model,EA-ST36 and EA-LU5(n=6 rats in each group).Rats of the normal group were treated by subcutaneous injection of normal saline,and those of the other 3 groups treated by subcutaneous injection of nicotine(1 mg·kg(-1)·d(-1)·d(-1))beginning from the 6 th day to about the 21 st day of pregnancy(childbirth day)for nicotine exposure during pregnancy and lactation.The daily EA treatment(2 Hz/15 Hz,1 mA)was applied to bilateral ST36 and LU5 for 20 min,beginning from the 6 th day of pregnancy to the 21 st day(childbirth day).The lung function of the offspring rats including the peak inspiratory flow(PIF),peak expiratory flow(PEF),lung resistance(RL),exhalation resistance(RE)and lung dynamic compliance(Cdyn)was detected by using a lung function analysis system.Histopathological changes(severity of alveolarization)of the offspring rats' lung tissue were observed under microscope after H.E.stain.Results Compared with the normal group,the PIF,RL and RE values were significantly increased(P<0.01),and PEF and Cdyn values significantly decreased in the model group(P<0.01).The alveolar diameter in the model group was evidently increased relevant to the normal group(P<0.01).Following the intervention,modeling induced increase of PIF,RL,RE and alveolar diameter and decrease of PEF and Cdyn values in the EA-ST36 group,and the increased PIF,RL and RE levels in the EA-LU5 group were obviously suppressed relevant to the model group(P<0.01,P<0.05).Additionally,modeling induced obvious congestion and edema of the alveolar wall,alveolar deformation,rupture and fusion,and reduction of the number of the pulmonary alveoli were evidently milder in both EA-ST36 and EA-LU5 groups.No significant differences were found between the EA-ST36 and EA-LU5 groups in the abovementioned 5 indexes of pulmonary function and alveolar diameter(P>0.05).Conclusion EA of ST36 and LU5 of mother rats experiencing nicotine exposure during pregnancy and lactation can improve the lung function and morphological changes in neonatal rats,and the effect of ST36 is relatively better.

      摘要:Objective To investigate the effect of electroacupuncture(EA)on cardiac hypertrophy and expression of myocardial autophagy-specific proteins in spontaneously hypertensive rats(SHRs).Methods Twelve male Wistar Kyoto(WKY)rats were selected as the normal control group,and 24 male SHRs were randomized into model and EA groups(n=12 in each).EA(2 Hz/15 Hz,1 mA)was applied to"Taichong"(LR3)and"Baihui"(GV20)for 20 min,once a day for successive 30 days.The other two groups only received the same grasping and fixation procedures.The systolic blood pressure(SBP)was measured using a non-invasive blood detector,and the left ventricular function including the left ventricular anterior wall diameter(LVAWd),left ventricular posterior wall diameter(LVPWd)and left ventricular internal diameter at end-diastolic dimension(LVIDd)was detected using a real-time echocardiography imaging system,and the left ventricular mass index(left ventricle weight/body weight,LVMI)was calculated.The expression of Beclin-1 and LC3 proteins in the left ventricle tissue was detected by Western blot.Pathological changes of the myocardial tissue were observed by Masson staining and transmission electron microscope(TEM).Results After the intervention,the elevated SBP was significantly lowered in the EA group relevant to the model group(P<0.01)and the increased LVAWd,LVPWd and LVMI were markedly decreased in the EA group(P<0.01,P<0.05),while the reduced LVIDd was significantly ameliorated in the EA group(P<0.01).Masson staining showed that in SHRs,disorder of arrangement of cardiac myofibers,swelling of cardiomyocytes,widened space among myocardial cells with a large number of collagenous fibers were observed,and under TEM,aggregation and unequal size of myocardial mitochondria with vacuolation and rupture,autophagosomes and autophagic lysosomes were seen.These changes were relatively milder in the EA group.Western blot showed that hypertension induced up-regulation of Beclin-1 and LC3-II and ratio of LC3-II/LC3-I,and down-regulation of LC3-I were significantly suppressed in the EA group(P<0.01,P<0.05).Conclusion EA at LR3 and GV20 may improve the left cardiac function,myocardial morphological changes and the degree of autophagy in SHRs,which is related to its effects in down-regulating the expression of myocardial Beclin-1 and LC3-II and in up-regulating expression of LC3-I.

      摘要:Objective To observe the influence of eletroacupuncture(EA)at"Dazhui"(EX-B2)and"Mingmen"(GV4)on expression of NR2 Bsubunit of N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor(NMDA)in the injured anterior horn(AH)area of rats with acute spinal cord injury(SCI),so as to explore its mechanisms underlying improvement of neural repair.Methods A total of 96 male Sprague-Dawley(SD)rats were randomly and equally divided into four groups:sham operation(sham),model,medication(Methyl-prednisone,MP)and EA(n=24 in each group).The acute SCI model was established by using a MASCIS spinal cord impactor.EA(2 Hz,0.5 mA)was applied to EX-B2 and GV4 for 30 min,once at 0.5 h,12 and 24 hafter SCI.Rats of the medication group were treated by tail intravenous injection of MP 30 mg/kg within 15 min(impact therapy)and 5.4 mg·kg(-1)·h-1(maintaining treatment)45 min thereafter for 23 h.The Basso,Beattie and Bresnahan(BBB)rating scale(0 to 21 points)was used to assess changes of locomotor function 6,24 and 48 hafter SCI.Histopathological changes of the injured spinal cord AH region were observed after sectioning and hematoxylin-eosin(H.E.)staining,and the expression levels of NR2 BmRNA and protein of AH were measured by quantitative real-time PCR,Western blot and immunofluorescence,respectively.Results After SCI,the BBB scores at 6,24 and 48 hwere significantly decreased in the model group compared with those of the sham group(P<0.001),but had no remarkable changes in both medication and EA groups after the intervention in comparison with those of the model group(P>0.05).After modeling,the histopathological changes(blurred border of the grey-white matter,cellular karyopyknosis,deepening of the cytoplasmic red stain,and rupture,dissolution and disordered arrangement of myelinated nerve fibers)in the injury area of the spinal cord in the model group were apparent,the number of NR2 Bpositive neurons and the relative expression levels of NR2 BmRNA and protein were significantly increased in the model group relevant to the sham group(P<0.05).In contrast to the model group,the injured severity of the spinal cord AH region was relatively milder,and the expression levels of NR2 BmRNA and protein were considerably down-regulated in both EA and MP groups(P<0.05).However,there were no significant differences between the EA and MP groups in the expression levels of NR2 BmRNA and protein(P>0.05).Conclusion EA at EX-B2 and GV4 may inhibit the expression of NR2 BmRNA and protein in acute SCI rats,which may contribute to its action in promoting nerve repair of the injured ventricolumna area of the thoracic spinal cord.

      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of electroacupuncture(EA)of"Huantiao"(GB30)and"Zusanli"(ST36)on muscular atrophy and expression of Slit-Robo GTPase-activating protein(srGAP)1,2 and 3 in the injured sciatic nerve and lumbar spinal cord tissues in sciatic nerve injury(SNI)rats,so as to reveal its mechanisms underlying improvement of peripheral nerve injury(PNI).Methods A total of 120 healthy male SD rats were randomly divided into control,sham-operation,model and EA groups(n=30 rats in each)which were further divided into 7,15 and 23 dsubgroups(n=10 rats in each subgroup).The SNI model was established by transecting the right sciatic nerve beneath the piriformis and immediately subsequent end-to-end suture.Rats of the sham operation group received an incision of the corresponding skin and suture.EA(5 Hz/20 Hz,2-3 mA)was applied to the right GB30 and ST36 for 15 min,once daily,6 days a week separately for 1,2 and 3 weeks.Rats in the sham-operation and model groups were grasped in the similar procedure as the EA group.The wet weight of gastrocnemius muscles(WWG)on both sides was measured to calculate the recovery rate(weight of the right WWG/weight of the left WWG×100%),and the expression levels of srGAP1,srGAP2 and srGAP3 proteins in the sciatic nerve and the spinal cord(L4—L6)tissues were detected by Western blot.Results After modeling and compared with the control and sham-operation groups,the recovery rate of WWG was significantly reduced,and the expression levels of srGAP1,srGAP2 and srGAP3 proteins of the sciatic nerve and lumbar spinal cord on day 7,15 and 23 were considerably increased in the model group(P<0.01).Following the EA treatment,the recovery rate of WWG was obviously increased and the expression levels of srGAP1,srGAP2 and srGAP3 proteins of both sciatic nerve and spinal cord on day 7,15 and 23 were further significantly up-regulated in the EA group relevant to the model group(P<0.05,P<0.01).In addition,the expression levels of the 3 proteins in both sciatic nerve and lumbar spinal cord peaked on day 15 and attenuated on day 23.Conclusion EA of GB30 and ST36 may relieve gastrocnemius atrophy in SNI rats,which is related to its function in up-regulating the Slit/Robo signaling in the sciatic nerve and lumbar spinal cord to promote the axonal targeting regeneration and repair of axonal plasma nutrition transportation.

      摘要:Objective To compare the effect of electroacupuncture(EA)of"Neiguan"(PC6)of the Pericardium Meridian,"Shenmen"(HT7)of the Heart Meridian,"Shuigou"(GV26)of the Governor Vessel and"Zhaohai"(KI6)of the Kidney Meridian on myocardial and cerebral cell apoptosis in cerebral ischemia(CI)rats,so as to explore its mechanism underlying improvement of CI based on the theory of"Heart-brain Correlation".Methods Forty-eight SD rats(half male and half female)were randomly divided into normal control,model,PC6,HT7,GV26 and KI6 groups(n=8 in each one).The CI model was established by occlusion of the middle cerebral artery(MCAO).EA(4 Hz/20 Hz,1.5 mA)was applied to the right PC6,HT7,GV26 or KI6 respectively for 30 min,once every 12 hfor 5 times.The cell apoptosis of the ischemic myocardial and cerebral tissues was detected by TUNEL method,and the expression of cerebral and myocardial Bax and Bcl-2 was determined by using immunohistochemistry.Results Following modeling,the cell apoptosis percentages and Bax-positive cells of both myocardial and cerebral tissues were significantly increased in the model group in comparison with the control group(P<0.01).After EA intervention,the cerebral apoptotic percentage and cerebral Bax-positive cells in the cerebral tissue of the PC6,HT7 and GV26 groups,and the myocardial apoptosis percentage in the PC6 and HT7 groups,as well as the myocardial Bax-positive cells in the PC6 group were obviously decreased(P<0.05,P<0.01),while the cerebral Bcl-2 positive cells in the PC6,HT7 and GV26 groups,and the myocardial Bcl-2 positive cells in the PC6 and HT7 groups were significantly increased relevant to the model group(P<0.01,P<0.05).No significant changes were found in the KI 6 group in the cell apoptosis index and percentages and Baxand Bcl-2-positive cells of both myocardium and cerebral cortex tissues compared with the model group(P>0.05).Conclusion EA stimulation of PC6 and HT7 can inhibit CI injury induced cell apoptosis of cerebral and myocardial tissues in CI rats,which is possibly associated with its effects in down-regulating Bax expression and up-regulating Bcl-2 expression of both myocardial and cerebral tissues.

      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of moxibustion at"Zusanli"(ST36)on metabolites of gastric tissue in chronic atrophic gastritis(CAG)rats,so as to explore the correlation between Yangming Meridian and stomach based on metabolomics.Methods Fifty-six SD rats were randomly divided into normal,normal+ moxibustion,model and model+ moxibustion groups(n=14 rats/group).The CAG model was established by gavage of N-methyl-N′-nitro-N-nitroso-guanidine(MNNG)solution and irregular diet for 12 weeks.Moxibustion was applied to ST36 and"Zhongwan"(CV12)for 15 min,once daily for two weeks in the normal+ moxibustion group and model+moxibustion group.The histopathological changes of the gastric tissue were observed by H.E.staining.1 H nuclear magnetic resonance(1 H NMR)spectroscopy was used to detect gastric tissue metabolites and the data were analyzed using the Chenomx NMR Suite software.Results After modeling,the regional gastric tissue showed pale thinner gastric wall,and reduction of regional glands with necrosis and disordered arrangement,epithelial cell exfoliation,lymphocyte infiltration as well as scattered punctate hemorrhage,which was evidently milder in the model+ moxibustion group.The metabolites of lactic acid,glutathione,N-acetylaspartate,uridine diphosphate glucose and muscle sugar in the gastric tissue in the model group were increased compared with those in the normal group(P<0.05),and the metabolites of leucine,betaine,phosphorylcholine,and uracil were decreased(P<0.05).The glutathione,N-acetylaspartate,phosphorylcholine and uracil in the model+moxibustion group were significantly reversed relevant to the model group(P<0.05).The inositol in gastric tissue were significantly increased(P<0.05),3-hydroxybutyric acid,serine and uridine diphosphate glucose were significantly decreased(P<0.05)in the normal+ moxibustion group than in the normal group.Conclusion Moxibustion has a good efficacy in regulating some metabolic substances such as glutathione,N-acetylaspartic acid,choline phosphate and uracil of CAG rats,suggesting a specific relationship between the Stomach Meridian and the stomach.

      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of herbal-cake-partitioned moxibustion(HCPM)of"Shenque"(CV8)and"Daheng"(SP15)on abdominal pain,plasmaβ-endorphin(β-EP),uterine prostaglandin E2(PGE2)and prostaglandin F2α(PGF2α)levels,as well as splenetic natural killer cell(NK cell)activity in primary dysmenorrhea(PD)rats,so as to explore the specificity of acupoint function and the underlying mechanisms of moxibustion in relieving dysmenorrhea.Methods A total of 40 female rats were randomized into blank control,model,CV8-direct moxibustion,CV8-HCPM and SP15-HCPM groups(n=8 rats in each).The PD model was established by subcutaneous injection of estradiol benzoate injection(0.2—0.5 mg/rat)for 10 consecutive days and intraperitoneal injection of oxytocin(2 U)24 hafter the last subcutaneous injection.Moxibustion or herbal-cake(composed of Radix Angelicae Sinensis,Rhizoma Chuanxiong,Radix Paeoniae Rubra,Cortex Cinnamomi,etc.)-partitioned moxibustion was applied to CV8,SP15 or umbilicus respectively for 7 moxa-cones every time,once daily for 10 successive days.The rats of the control and model groups were also restrained as those in the moxibustion groups.The writhing times within 30 minutes was recorded and the contents of plasmaβ-EP,uterine PGE2 and PGF2αwere detected by ELISA,and NK cell activity was detected using MTT.Results Compared with the control group,the writhing times and the content of PGF2αin the uterus tissue were significantly increased in the model group(P<0.01),while the contents of plasmaβ-EP,uterine PGE2 and splenetic NK cell activity were significantly decreased(P<0.01).In comparison with the model group,the writhing times and uterine PGF2αcontent were obviously down-regulated in the SP15-HCPM,CV8-direct moxibustion and CV8-HCPM groups(P<0.05,P<0.01),and the contents of plasmaβ-EP and uterine PGE2,and splenetic NK cell activity were significantly increased(P<0.05,P<0.01).The therapeutic effects of CV8-HCPM group were significantly superior to those of SP15-HCPM and CV8-direct moxibustion groups in lowering writhing times and PGF2αlevel,and in up-regulatingβ-EP,PGE2(P<0.05,P<0.01).The NK cell activity of CV8-HCPM group was significantly increased compared with that in the SP15-HCPM group(P<0.05).No significant differences were found between the SP15-HCPM and CV8-direct moxibustion groups in the levels of writhing times,plasmaβ-EP and uterine PGE2,PGF2αcontents and splenetic NK cell activity(P>0.05).Conclusion Moxibustion of both CV8 and SP15 can relieve abdominal pain in PD rats,which may be closely associated with its effect in suppressing PD-induced decrease of plasmaβ-EP and uterine PGE2 levels and splenetic NK cell activity and increase of uterine PGF2α.The therapeutic effect of CV8-HCPM is obviously better than that of SP15-HCPM and CV8-direct moxibustion.

      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of electroacupuncture(EA)of"Zhongwan"(CV12)and"Zusanli"(ST36)in different combinations of stimulating parameters on intragastric pressure(IGP)in normal rats so as to explore their best combinations for promoting gastrointestinal mobility.Methods A total of 90 male SD rats were randomly divided into 6 EA groups:CV12-1 mA+ST36-1 mA,CV12-1 mA+ST36-2 mA,CV12-1 mA+ST36-4 mA,ST36-1 mA+CV12-1 mA,ST36-2 mA+CV12-1 mA,and ST36-4 mA+CV12-1 mA which the first acupoint was stimulated first,followed by the second in each group(n=15 rats/group).Before(1 min),and 0—30 s,30—60 s,60—90 s,and 90—120 sduring EA stimulation of the left ST36 or CV12 first or later,the IGP was measured via an inserted intragastric balloon,a connected pressure transducer and an amplifier.Changes of the IGP were analyzed using 2×3×4 factorial design.Results 1)During 0—30 s,EA-CV12 showed an obvious inhibitory effect on IGP(P<0.05)while EA-ST36 showed a mild exciting effect(P>0.05).2)Compared with the IGP level of 0—30 s,the IGP levels of 30—120 swere significantly decreased in all the groups(P<0.01).3)In the CV12-1 mA/ST 36-1 mA groups,only the IGP level of 0—30 swas affected by the EA-stimulating order(P<0.05).In the CV12-1 mA/ST36-2 mA groups,both the IGP levels during 0—30 sand 90—120 swere obviously affected by EA-stimulating sequence.In the CV12-1 mA/ST36-4 mA groups,the IGP level during 0—120 swas affected by EA-stimulating order.4)Only in the condition of EA-CV12 stimulating first and EAST36 second and at 4 mA,the reduction effect of IGP of EA-CV12 was antagonized.There are marked interaction effects between the EA strength and acupoint EA stimulating sequence,and between the time course and acupoint EA stimulating sequence(P<0.01),but no significant interaction effects were found between the time course and stimulating strength,and among the EA stimulating strength,time course and acupoint EA stimulating sequence(P>0.05).Conclusion Simultaneous EA stimulation of ST36 and CV12 has an antagonistic effect on IGP in normal rats,which is affected by the stimulating sequence,stimulating strength and time course.

      摘要:Objective To observe the clinical effect of acupuncture combined with herbal-cake(Qianzhengsan)partitioned moxibustion at Xiaguan(ST7),Qianzheng(EX-HN),etc.for patients with peripheral facial paralysis.Methods Seventy-eight patients with peripheral facial paralysis(within 7 days)were divided into acupuncture plus moxibustion(Acu-Moxi)group and routine acupuncture(control)group(n=38 cases in each).Patients of the control group were treated by routine acupuncture of unilateral or bilateral Yangbai(GB14),Sibai(ST2),Taiyang(EX-HN5),Quanliao(SI18),Jiache(ST6),Dicang(ST4),Yifeng(SJ17),Hegu(LI4)and Zusanli(ST36),and those of the Acu-Moxi group were treated by routine acupuncture of the above-mentioned acupoints in combination with herbal-cake-partitioned moxibustion at ST7 and EX-HN.The treatment was conducted once daily for 20 days.The House-Brackmann facial grading scale(H-B FGS)was used to assess the degree of facial nerve palsy(Ⅰ-Ⅵ grades),the modified Portmann scale used to assess the severity of facial paralysis including the situations of movement of eyebrow raising,eye closing,cheek bulging,pouting,teeth showing and nostril widening,and symmetry during resting state(20 points in total)and the facial disability index(FDI)used to rate the physical function(FDIP)and social life function(FDIS)(5-30 points in total).The clinical efficacy of each group was evaluated after the treatment.Results After the treatment,the number of patients with H-B FGS grade IV and V and FDIS scores were significantly decreased,and patients' number of H-B FGS grade I and II,Portmann scale and FDIP scores were significantly increased in both control and Acu-Moxi groups in comparison with their own pre-treatment(P<0.01),suggesting an improvement of facial nerve function after treatment.The patients' number of H-B FGS grade I and II and Portmann scores of the Acu-Moxi group was significantly higher than those of the control group(P<0.05,P<0.01),but no significant differences were found between two groups in the FDIP and FDIS scores(P>0.05).Of the two 38 patients in the control group and Acu-Moxi group,8(21.05%)and 15(39.47%)were cured,7(18.42%)and 8(21.05%)experienced marked improvement,14(36.84%)and 13(34.21%)were effective,and9(23.68%)and 2(5.26%)invalid,with the effective rates being 76.32%and 94.74%,respectively.The therapeutic effect of the Acu-Moxi group was evidently superior to that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The acupuncture combined with Qianzhengsan-partitioned moxibustion is considerably superior to routine acupuncture in improving clinical symptoms and signs of peripheral facial paralysis patients.

      摘要:Objective To observe the influence of fire needle stimulation at Sihua acupoints combined with chemotherapy on Th1/Th2 imbalance and performance status in the patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)so as to investigate its immunological mechanism underlying the improvement of lung cancer.Methods Sixty eligible NSCLC inpatients were randomly assigned to a control group and a treatment group(n=30 cases in each one).The control group was treated with paclitaxel combined with cisplatin(TP)or gemcitabine plus cisplatin(GP)of chemotherapy,and the treatment group was treated with fire needle stimulation at Sihua acupoints(i.e.bilateral Geshu[BL17]and Danshu[BL19])and with chemotherapy simultaneously.The fire needle stimulation was given once daily for successive 7 days.One day before and 14 days after chemotherapy,the patients' blood samples were collected for assaying the concentrations of Th1 related cytokines(IL-2,IFN-γ)and Th2 related cytokines(IL-4,IL-10)with ELISA.The Karnofsky performance status(KPS)score was used to assess the patient's physical conditions before and 14 days after chemotherapy.Results Compared with the results before treatment,the levels of IL-2 and IFN-γconcentration increased obviously and the levels of IL-4 and IL-10 concentration as well as KPS score decreased significantly in the treatment group and the control group after treatment(all P<0.01).After treatment,compared with the control group,the levels of IL-2 and IFN-γconcentration in the treatment group increased and the levels of IL-4 and IL-10 concentration decreased(P<0.01);and the decrease amplitude of KPS score in the treatment group was less than that in the control group(P<0.01).Conclusion Fire needle stimulation at Sihua acupoints improves the function of Th1 cells,and reduces the function of Th2 cells.As a result,the balance between Th1 and Th2 has been modified and the deterioration degree of the performance status been alleviated in the patients after chemotherapy.

      摘要:Objective To observe the curative effect of acupuncture stimulation of the back segment(10 spots below the spinous processes from T3 to T12)of the Governor Vessel in the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux cough(GERC).Methods A total of 60 cases of GERC patients were randomly divided into acupuncture and medication groups(n=30 in each).For patients of the acupuncture group,the depression spots below the spinous processes from T3 to T12,including acupoints Shenzhu(GV12),Shendao(GV11),Lingtai(GV10),Zhiyang(GV9),Jinsuo(GV8)and non-acupoints(T4,T8,T12)were punctured with filiform needles,once every other day for 8 weeks.Patients of the medication group were ordered to take omeprazole capsules(20 mg/time),twice a day for 8 weeks.The therapeutic effect was assessed by using"Reflux Diagnostic Questionnaire"(RDQ,scores of symptoms of heartburn,retrosternal pain,acid regurgitation and food regurgitation,0-40 points),cough symptom score(0-3 points)and"Leicester Cough Questionnaire"(LCQ,scores of physiological,psychological and social functions,0-21 points),respectively.Results Following the treatment,RDQ score and cough symptom scores during both daytime and night were significantly decreased in both groups(P<0.05),and the scores of physiological status,psychological health and social function of LCQ were significantly increased in both acupuncture and medication groups in comparison with their own pre-treatment(P<0.05).The therapeutic effect of acupuncture was markedly superior to that of medication in lowering RDQ score and cough symptom scores of daytime and night,and in raising LCQ scores of the physiological status,psychological health and social function(P<0.05).Conclusion Acupuncture stimulation of the dorsal segment of the Governor Vessel is effective in improving clinical symptoms and living quality of GERC patients.

      摘要:Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of acupuncture therapy in the treatment of dysphagia in apoplexy patients.Methods A total of 104 patients with post-stroke dysphagia were randomized into a control(conventional swallowing rehabilitation training)group and an acupuncture group(n=52 cases in each one).In the control group,the conventional swallowing rehabilitation training was conducted,twice daily,6 times a week for 4 weeks.In the acupuncture group,deep needling of main acupoints Lianquan(CV23)and Yifeng(TE17),and conventional acupuncture of adjuvant acupoints as Fengchi(GB20)and Fengfu(GV16),Wangu(GB12),Lieque(LU7),Jinjin(EX-HN12),Yuye(EX-HN13),etc.as well as electroacupuncture stimulation(15-20 Hz,5 mA,and duration of 30 min)of ipsilateral CV23-GV16,TE17-GB20,and bilateral Neidaying acupoints were conducted.The acupuncture treatment was given once daily,6 times a week for consecutive 4 weeks.In addition,patients of the two groups also received routine symptomatic treatment with drugs for anti-platelet aggregation,nourishing cranial nerve,lowering blood pressure,controlling blood glucose,improving cerebral circulation,etc.Before and after the treatment,the standard swallowing assessment(SSA,18-46 points)and Kubota water swallowing test(WST,1-5 grades)were conducted to evaluate the patient's swallowing function.The comprehensive therapeutic effect was assessed in accordance with the SSA and Kubota WST,and adverse reactions were recorded.Results After the treatment,the SSA score was considerably reduced in the two groups relevant to their own pre-treatment(both P<0.05),and was significantly lower in the acupuncture group than in the control group(P<0.05).The Kubota WST grade was evidently increased in the number of patients with gradeⅠ(P<0.05)and reduced in the numbers of patients with gradeⅢ-Ⅴin both groups relevant to their own pre-treatment,and was more patients with gradeⅠin the acupuncture group than in the control group(P<0.05).Outcomes of the comprehensive therapeutic effect indicated that of the two 52 cases in the control and acupuncture groups,8(15.38%)and 19(36.53%)were cured,7(13.46%)and 15(28.45%)had marked improvement,17(32.69%)and 12(23.08%)were effective,and 20(38.46%)and6(11.54%)failed in the treatment,with the effective rate being 61.54% and 88.46%,respectively.The total effective rate of the acupuncture group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The adverse reactions such as regional hematoma(in 3 cases)and pain(in 2 cases)in the acupuncture group,and choking-coughing in the control group were seen,being 9.62% and 11.54%in the incidence rate,respectively.Conclusion Deep needling of main acupoints Lianquan(CV23)and Yifeng(TE 17)in combination with conventional acupuncture of other acupoints is effective in improving local glossopharyngeal function in apoplexy patients with dysphagia,which is obviously superior to conventional swallowing rehabilitation training in the therapeutic effect and is applicable in clinical practice.

      摘要:Objective To observe the time-effect of stimulation of the embedded poly glycolide-co-lactide(PGLA)suture in Sanyinjiao(SP6)area in normal human body,so as to provide an experimental evidence for clinical application of micro-invasion suture-embedding at an appropriate interval.Methods A total of 8 healthy volunteer students(3 boys and 5 girls,ranging in age from 24 to 27 years)were recruited in the present study.A piece of sterilized PGLA suture was implanted into the left SP6 using minimally invasive surgery after strict local skin disinfection.The fat-suppression T2 weighted magnetic resonance images(MRI,displaying local lesion after eliminating interference of fat tissue signals),and T2 mapping 8-echo train images were acquired before and 8 h,3,7,10 and 14 days after PGLA suture embedment by using a MR imaging system.After transformation of the T2-mapping 8-echo train images into T2-mapping images by using a relevant software,the T2 values(meaning the relaxation time of the local muscle)of the left SP6 were measured,followed by analysis of the signal intensity of T2 weighted fat-suppression images and T2 values at different time-points.Results Before the suture embedding,no abnormal signals were found in the signal intensity of T2 weighted fat-suppression images.After PGLA suture embedment,the local signal intensity of T2 WI fatsuppression images was relatively increased at the 8 th h,and on day 3,7,10 and 14 relevant to pre-embedment,but gradually atte-nuated on day 10 and 14.The T2 values were significantly increased at the 5 time-points of post-embedment(all P<0.01),but without significant differences among the 8 thh,the 3 rd and 7 thd(P>0.05),and being markedly lowered on day 14 relevant to day 7(P<0.01)in spite of being still markedly higher than that of pre-embedding(P<0.01).Conclusion The signal intensity of T2 weighted fat-suppression images and T2 values acquired from PGLA-suture-embedded SP6 acupoint area in healthy subjects may keep at least for 2 weeks,suggesting that the stimulating reaction of suture-embedment persists more than 14 days.Hence,when a micro-invasion embedding with PGLA suture performed,the interval of two weeks would be appropriate.

      摘要:Acupuncture therapy has a positive role in the prevention and treatment of some related diseases by regulating autonomic nervous function.But it has been found in experimental researches that the modulatory effects of acupuncture on autonomic nervous system are not always consistent with each other.Because in the animal studies on the mechanism of acupuncture intervention,the anesthetic agent has to be used and definitely affects the activities of the autonomic nervous system while playing its pharmacological effects.Hence,it is very significant to explore the rational application of anesthetic agents and minimize their unfavorable impacts on the research outcomes.In the present paper,we make a retrospective analysis on(1)the effect of acupuncture intervention on activities of the autonomic nerve in animal models of myocardial ischemia,gastrointestinal mobility,and urinary system;(2)the effect of anesthetics as isoflurane,urethane,pentobarbital sodium,ketamine,α-chloralose,propofolum,etc.on activities of the autonomic nerve system.In terms of different anesthetic modes and various depths of anesthesia by using isoflurane inhalation,mixed solution of urethane and chloralose,etc.,some approaches for assessing the state of anesthesia in accordance with the pupillary reflex,righting reflex,footboard reflex,swallowing reflex,heart rate,blood pressure,body temperature,respiration frequency,ventilation volume,oxygen saturation,partial pressure of carbon dioxide,neuromuscular blockade,etc.in combination with the indexes directly and indirectly reflecting functions of the sympathetic and vagus nerves are proposed to analyze the impact of different anesthetic states on the therapeutic effect of acupuncture in various models of dysfunction of the autonomic nerve system.Under the circumstances,it is possible to provide a reference for rational use of anesthetic agents and dosages in the acupuncture research of autonomic nerve regulation.
