      摘要:Objective To investigate the effect of electroacupuncture(EA)on the expression of interleukin-8(IL-8),interleukin-10(IL-10),tyrosine hydroxylase(TH),β3-adrenergic receptor(β3 AR),and endothelial nitric oxide synthase(eNOS)in myocardial tissue in ischemic myocardial injury rats,so as to reveal its underlying mechanisms in myocardial protection via antiinflammation and sympathetic nerve remodeling.Methods A total of 48 male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into sham-operation(sham,n=9),sham +EA(n=9),model(n=15)and EA(n=15)groups.The myocardial ischemia(MI)model was established by ligation of the left anterior descending branch of the left coronary artery.EA(2 Hz/15 Hz,1.5-2 mA)was applied to bilateral"Neiguan"(PC6)for 30 min,once daily for 4 days.The myocardial infarct size was detected by 2,3,5 triphenyltetrazolium chloride(TTC)staining,myocardial histopathological changes and inflammatory infiltration were assessed by H.E.staining,and the expression of IL-8,IL-10,TH,β3 AR,and eNOS in the myocardium was determined by using Western blot.Results Compared with the sham group,a marked myocardial infarction was found in the left ventricle tissue,accompanied with disordered arrangement of myocardial fibers and higher degree of inflammatory cell infiltration,and increased expression of IL-8,TH,β3 AR and eNOS in the myocardium in the model group(P<0.01),but without significant change in the expression of IL-10(P>0.05).After EA intervention and in comparison with the model group,the myocardial infarct size was significantly reduced(P<0.01),the severity of inflammatory cell infiltration and disordered arrangement of myocardial fibers were relieved,and the expression of IL-10 and eNOS proteins were significantly up-regulated(P<0.05),and the markedly up-regulated expression of IL-8,TH,andβ3 AR were significantly suppressed in the EA group(P<0.01).Conclusion EA intervention can reduce the myocardial infarct size(protective effect)in MI rats possibly by reducing inflammatory reaction and sympathetic nerve remodeling.

      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of acupuncture at"Shenshu"(BL23)-"Taixi"(KI3)on the levels of serum uric acid(SUA)and expression of renal urate-anion transporter 1(URAT1)and organic anion transporter 1(OAT1)proteins in hyperuricemia(HUA)rats,so as to explore its underlying mechanisms in improving HUA.Methods A total of 25 male Wistar rats were divided into 4 groups:control(n=6),HUA model(n=7),BL23-KI3(n=6)and Ganshu(BL18)-Taichong(LR3,BL18-LR3 in short,n=6).The HUA model was established by gavage of Oteracil Potassium(2 g/kg),once daily for 10 days,then once every other day.For rats of the BL23-KI3 group,BL23 and KI3 were stimulated with filiform needles which were rotated for 10 sat a frequency about 100 r/min,and for rats of the BL18-LR3 group,BL18 and LR3 were stimulated with the same methods to those of the BL23-KI3 group.The treatment of both acupuncture groups was conducted once daily,6 times a week(except Sundays)for 3 weeks.The contents of SUA and serum creatinine(SCr)were assayed by using an automatic biochemical analyzer.The pathological changes of the right kidney tissue were observed under light microscope after hematoxylin eosin(H.E.)staining,the immunoactivity of URAT1 and OAT1 of the right kidney tissue was determined by immunohistochemistry,and the expression of URAT1 and OAT1 proteins of the left kidney tissue detected by Western blot(WB).Results After modeling,the content of SUA and the expression of renal URAT1 protein(shown by both immunoactivity and WB)were significantly increased(P<0.01),but that of renal OAT1 protein was obviously decreased in the model group compared with the control group(P<0.01).There was no notably change in the level of SCr in the model group relevant to the control group(P>0.05).Following acupuncture intervention,the SUA content and URAT1 expression in both BL18-LR3 and BL23-KI3 groups were considerably down-regulated(P<0.05,P<0.01),and the expression of OAT1 protein in the BL23-KI3 group(not the BL18-LR3 group)were obviously up-regulated relevant to the model group(P<0.01).The effects of BL23-KI3 were significant superior to those of BL18-LR3 in down-regulating the expression of URAT1 and up-regulating OAT1 protein(P<0.01,P<0.05).Conclusion Acupuncture of"BL23"and"KI3"can effectively down-regulate SUA level in HUA rats,which may be related to its effects in down-regulating the expression of URAT1 and up-regulating the expression of OAT1 in the kidney tissue.

      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of acupuncture plus moxibustion on the synaptic ultrastructure and expression of synaptic skeleton related proteins in the prefrontal cortex(PFC)of heroin re-addicted rats,so as to reveal its mechanisms underlying improvement of heroin addiction.Methods Twenty-four Wister rats(half male and half female)were randomly divided into normal control,model and acupuncture groups(n=8 in each group).The heroin re-addicted model was established by muscular injection of heroin into the hind limbs for 8 days(incremental 0.8—3.6 mg,once daily for 6 days,and twice daily for2 days),followed by conventional breeding for 5 days(detoxification),the procedure(addition-detoxification)was repeated3 cycles.For rats of the acupuncture group,"Baihui"(GV20)was needled with filiform needles which were retained for 30 min,and moxibustion was then applied to bilateral"Shenshu"(BL23)for 30 min.The treatment was conducted once daily during the detoxification.On the 39 th day of experiment,the bilateral prefrontal cortex tissues were sampled for examining the ultrastructure by using transmission electron microscope(TEM)after fixative solution immersion and for determining the expression of genes and proteins of activity-regulated cytoskeleton-associated protein(Arc),microtubule-asso-ciated protein-2(MAP-2)and microtubuleassociated protein Tau(Tau)with quantitative real-time PCR and Western blot,respectively.Results After modeling,the expression levels of Arc mRNA and protein were significantly up-regulated,and those of MAP-2 and Tau mRNA and proteins obviously down-regulated in the model group relevant to the normal control group(P<0.05).Following the intervention,the up-regulated Arc protein and mRNA and the down-regulated MAP-2 and Tau were obviously reversed relevant to the model group(P<0.05).Outcomes of TEM showed unclear pre-and post-membranes of the synapses,narrowing of the synaptic gap and non-uniform of the density of the thickened dense plaque after modeling,which was relatively milder in the acupuncture group.Conclusion Acupuncture plus moxibustion can improve changes of synaptic ultrastructure in heroin re-addicted rats,which may be related to their effect in regulating the expression of some synaptic skeleton proteins and genes.

      摘要:Objective To explore the effect of electroacupuncture(EA)on learning-memory ability and its correlation with miR-664-3 p levels in the hippocampus in cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury(CI/RI)rats.Methods A total of 27 male SD rats were randomly divided into sham operation,CI/RI model and EA groups(n=9 in each group).The CI/RI model was established by occlusion of the middle cerebral artery(MACO)according to the modified Longa methods.EA was applied to"Baihui"(GV20)and"Shenting"(GV24)for 20 min,once a day for 7 days.The Morris water maze tests(place navigation tasks and spatial probe trials)were used to evaluate the rats' learning-memory ability.After EA intervention,the hippocampal tissue was collected to measure the mRNA and miRNA expression profiles by using high-throughput next generation sequencing.Bioinformatics analyses including Gene Ontology(GO)and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG)analyses were performed to screen the most abundant differentially-expressed miRNAs and mRNAs,particularly the target genes of miR-664-3 p.Their biological functional categories including the key biochemical metabolic pathways and signaling pathways involved in CI and EA effect in the left hippocampus tissue were analyzed.Results The average escape latency of place navigation tests was significantly longer in the CI/RI model group than in the sham operation group(P<0.01),and obviously shorter in the EA group than in the model group(P<0.01);and the times of escape-platform quadrant crossing of the spatial probe trials were considerably fewer in the CI/RI model group than in the sham operation group(P<0.05),and markedly more in the CI/RI EA group than in the model group(P<0.05).Combined analysis of miRNA and mRNA showed that the differentially-expressed target genes of miR-664-3 p were significantly up-regulated after CI/RI relevant to the sham operation rats(P<0.05)and notably down-regulated in the EA group relevant to the CI/RI model group(P<0.05).The GO analysis displayed that the target genes of miR-664-3 p were significantly enriched in the category of cell transportation activity,ion binding,and transmembrane transporter activity,the production of precursor metabolites and energy,transportation,signal transduction,localization,etc.KEGG analysis showed that the target genes of miR-664-3 p in this study were mainly enriched in the thyroid hormone pathway,Hippo signaling pathway,MAPK signal transduction pathway,cAMP signaling pathway,neurotrophic factor signal transduction pathway,etc.Conclusion EA of GV20 and GV24 can improve the learning-memory ability of CI/RI rats,which is closely related to its effect in down-regulating the levels of hippocampal target genes of miR-664-3 p involving cellular transmembrane transportation,cell to environment interaction,cell-cell communication,etc.

      摘要:Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of electroacupuncture(EA)of"Zusanli"(ST36)and"Ashi"-point on the healthy side(opposing needling)on muscular injury and expression of myogenin(myoG)and fast myosin skeletal heavy chain(Fast MyHC)proteins in the gastrocnemius muscle(GM)tissues in skeletal muscle contusion rats,so as to explore its mechanism underlying improvement of skeletal muscle injury.Methods A total of 54 male SD rats were divided into normal control(n =6),model(n=24)and opposing needling(EA,n=24)groups.The latter two groups were further randomized into3,5,7 and 14 dsubgroups(n=6 per subgroup).The skeletal muscle contusion model of the hind-limb was established by using a self-made striking device.EA(1 Hz/3 Hz,1-2 mA)was applied to ST36 and"Ashi"-point on the uninjured side of the hind-limb for 15 min every time,once a day for 3,5,7 and 14 days,respectively.The injured GM was harvested on the 3 rd,5 th,7 th and14 th day after muscular contusion.The morphological changes of the injured GM and the mean cross-sectional areas(CSAs)of the neonatal muscle cells were observed by microscope after H.E.staining.The immunoactivity of desmin protein(myogenic marker protein of myoblast cell)of GM was detected by immunofluorescence stain on the 7 th day after injury,and the expression levels of myoG(on the 3 rd and 5 th day after injury)and fast MyHC protein of GM tissues(on the 7 thand 14 th day after injury)were detected by Western blot.Results H.E.staining of GS tissue showed fewer neuronal myocytes with disordered arrangement at different sizes,and appearance of some collagenous fibers among the mesenchyme on day 7 and 14 after muscular contusion,which was relatively milder in the EA group.In the EA group,the CSA values of the neonatal muscle cells were significantly larger than those in the model group on the day 7 th(P<0.05),14 th(P<0.001)after injury.On day 7 after muscular contusion,the desmin was found to express on the cellular membrane of GM in the normal control group,while in the model group,the desmin expressed mainly in the cellular plasma in the model group,and on the cellular membrane of neonatal myocytes in the EA group,respectively.The desmin positive myocytes showed disordered arrangement and different sizes after muscular contusion,whereas the situations of the EA group were close to those of the normal control group.Desmin expression was up-regulated in the EA group compared with the model group which was not significant difference(P>0.05).On the 3 rd and 5 th day after muscular contusion,the expression level of myoG protein was significantly up-regulated in the model group compared with the normal control group(P<0.001),and significantly up-regulated in the EA group than that in the model group(P<0.001).On the 7 th and14 th day after contusion,the expression level of fast MyHC protein was significantly down-regulated in the model group relevant to the normal control group(P<0.001),and markedly up-regulated in the EA group relevant to the model group(P<0.01).Conclusion EA of ST36 and"Ashi"-point on the contralateral limb can up-regulate the expression of myoG and fast MyHC proteins of GM in acute skeletal muscle contusion rats,which may contribute to its effect in promoting the repair of skeletal muscle injury.

      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of electroacupuncture(EA)at"Weizhong"(BL40)on histopathological changes and expression of extracellular matrix(ECM)component CollagenⅠ,matrix metalloproteinases 2(MMP2),MyoD and Pax7 proteins of lumbar muscle tissues in rats with lumbar multifidus muscle injury(LMMI),so as to explore its underlying mechanisms in improving muscular injury.Methods A total of 24 male SD rats were equally randomized into blank control,model and EA groups.The LMMI model was established by injection of 0.5% Bupivacaine(100!L/point)into bilateral multifidus muscles of lumbar 4 and 5(4 points).EA(2 Hz/100 Hz in frequency,1-2 mA)was applied to BL40 for 20 min,once a day for 3 days.The morphological changes of the left lumbar multifidus muscle were observed under microscope after H.E.and Masson staining,and the expression of Collagen Ⅰ,MMP2,MyoD and Pax7 of the right lumbar multifidus muscle was determined by Western blot.Results H.E.staining showed large areas of degeneration and necrosis of muscle fibers,and vacuolar structure formed by degradation of muscle fibers in the model group,and newborn juvenile muscle fibers with different diameters in the EA group.Masson staining showed a large number of morphologically damaged muscle fibers and blue stained collagen fibers in the model group,and significantly reduced collagen fibers as well as new muscle fibers with uneven diameters in the EA group.The expression levels of CollagenⅠ,MMP2 and MyoD proteins were significantly up-regulated(P<0.01,P<0.05),and that of Pax7 was considerably down-regulated in the model group relative to the control group(P<0.01).After EA intervention,the expression levels of CollagenⅠ was significantly down-regulated(P<0.01),and those of MMP2,MyoD and Pax7 proteins were obviously or further obviously up-regulated in the EA group compared with the model group(P<0.01,P<0.05).Conclusion EA at BL40 can reduce the degree of skeletal muscle fibrosis to promote the regeneration of the injured multifidus at the early phase,which may be related to its effect in regulating the expression of CollagenⅠ and MMP2 proteins.

      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of moxibustion of"Zhongwan"(CV12)and "Zusanli"(ST36)on histopathological changes of the gastric mucosa and contents of corticotropin-releasing hormone(CRH)and adrenocorticotrophic hormone(ACTH)in the serum,hypothalamus and pituitary tissues in rats with stress-induced gastric ulcer(SGU),so as to reveal its mechanisms underlying improvement of SGU.Methods A total of 28 male SD rats were randomly divided into blank control,model,moxibustion,and medication groups,with 7 rats in each group.The SGU model was established by water immersion restraint stress for 3 h.Moxibustion was applied to"Zhongwan"(CV12)and bilateral"Zusanli"(ST36)for 20 min,once a day for 5 days,and rats of the medication group were treated by gavage of Omeprazole enteric-coated tablets(0.2 mg/kg)once a day for5 days.The gastric mucosal damage index(ulcer index,UI)was measured to assess the injury severity according to Guths methods.Histopathological changes of the gastric mucosa were determined by H.E.staining.The contents of CRH in serum and hypothalamus and ACTH in serum and pituitary gland tissue were assayed by using ELISA.Results Outcomes of H.E.staining showed gastric mucosal epithelia defect,disordered arrangement of glands,obvious mucosal hyperemia and edema,exudation of a large number of red blood cells,swelling of mucosal cells with necrosis of nuclei in the model group.These situations were relatively milder in the moxibustion and medication groups.After modeling,the UI,and the contents of CRH in the serum and hypothalamus,and ACTH in the serum and pituitary tissue were significantly increased in comparison with the blank control group(P<0.01).Following the intervention,the UI,and contents of CRH in the serum and hypothalamus,and ACTH in the serum and pituitary were all down-regulated in both medication and moxibustion groups relevant to the model group(P<0.05,P<0.01).The therapeutic effect of moxibustion was notably superior to that of medication in down-regulating serum CRH and ACTH(P<0.05).No significant differences were found between the medication and moxibustin interventions in lowering the UI,hypothalamic CRH and pituitary ACTH levels(P>0.05).Conclusion Moxibustion can relieve gastric mucosal injury induced by stress in water immersion restraint stress rats,which may be associated with its effects in down-regulating the levels of CRH and ACTH in se-rum,hypothalamus and pituitary tissues(inhibition of activities of hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenocortical axis).

      摘要:Objective Our previous study demonstrated that moxibustion could promote skin wound healing in rats with full-thickness cutaneous wounds.The present study was designed to observe the effect of moxibustion on the levels of pro-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory cytokines,and proliferation of vascular endothelial cells,so as to explore its mechanisms underlying facilitating wound-healing.Methods A total of 84 adult SD male rats were randomly assigned to normal(n=6),model(n=39)and moxibustion(n=39)groups.The skin wound model was established by removal of a piece of full-thickness skin from the median line of the rats' back(about 2 cm below the shoulder blade).Moxibustion was applied to the surrounding area of the focus for25 min,once daily for 6 days.The blood samples were collected at day 1,2,3 and 5 after modeling for assaying serum contents of IL-1α,IL-1β,IL-6,IL-4,IL-10,IL-13,granulocyte-colony stimulating factor(G-CSF),granulocyte macrophagecolony stimulating factor(GM-CSF,an inflammatory mediator),macrophage inhibitory protein-1α(MIP-1α)and vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)with liquid chip methods,and the topical wound tissues were collected after trans-cardiac perfusion with 4% paraformaldehyde solution for detecting the expression of CD31 proteins by using immunofluorescence staining.Results After modeling and in comparison with the model group,the contents of serum IL-1αand IL-6 at the 1 st day were significantly increased(P<0.05),but notably decreased at the 3 rd day after modeling in the moxibustion group(P<0.05).The contents of serum IL-1βon day 1 and 2 were significantly higher in the moxibustion group than those of the model group(P<0.05).After moxibustion,the contents of serum IL-4 and IL-10 were significantly up-regulated on day 1 after modeling(P<0.05),and obviously down-regulated from the 3 rd day on(P<0.05).The contents of serum MIP-1αon the 2 nd day and serum VEGF on day 1 and 2,and wound-skin VEGF on day 5 were obviously up-regulated in the moxibustion group in comparison with the model group(P<0.05,P<0.01).Conclusion Moxibustion promotes the inflammatory response by regulating the levels of both pro-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory cytokines in the early phase of skin wounds in rats,which may be in favor of the transformation from the inflammatory phase to the proliferation phase in advance,promoting wound healing at last.

      摘要:Objective To compare the clinical effect of manual acupuncture and moxibustion therapies in the treatment of perimenopausal insomnia(PMI).Methods A total of 60 outpatients with PMI were randomly and equally divided into an acupuncture group(29 cases)and a moxibustion group(28 cases).Acupoints Zhongwan(CV12),Xiawan(CV10),Qihai(CV6)and Guanyuan(CV4)were employed in these two groups.For acupuncture group,filiform needles were inserted slowly into these acupoints and twirled mildly for a while,and then retained for 30 min.When moxibustion performed,the ignited moxa-cone was applied to the same 4 acupoints,with 7 cones for each acupoint.The treatment was conducted once daily for 10 consecutive days,suspended for 2 days,then another 10 days' treatment followed. The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)scale(7 items:subjective sleep quality,sleep latency,duration of sleep,habitual sleep efficiency,sleep disturbance,use of sleeping medications,and daytime dysfunction,0-3 points per item,0-21 points in total)was used to evaluate the patient's sleep quality.The clinical therapeutic effect was also assessed according to the sleep rate(=sleep duration/total duration from spin-in to wake-up×100%).The contents of serum follicular stimulating hormone(FSH),estradiol(E2)and luteinizing hormone(LH)were detected using radioimmunoassay.Results After treatment,the total score of PSQI and the score of each item were all significantly reduced in the two groups relevant to their own pre-treatment(P<0.01).The scores of sleep latency,sleep disturbance and daytime dysfunction were comparable between the two groups(P>0.05),but the total score,and scores of sleep quality,sleep duration,sleep efficiency,and use of sleeping medication were significantly lower in the moxibustion group than in the acupuncture group(P<0.05).Of the 29 and 28 cases in the acupuncture and moxibustion groups,6(20.69%)and 11(39.29%)were cured,7(24.14%)and 9(32.14%)experienced marked improvement,9(31.03%)and 5(17.86%)were effective,and 7(24.14%)and 3(10.71%)ineffective,with the total effective rate being 75.86% and 89.29%,respectively.The therapeutic effect of moxibustion was obviously superior to that of acupuncture treatment(P<0.05).After the treatment,the levels of serum FSH and LH were significantly decreased(P<0.01),and that of E2 was significantly increased in both groups(P<0.01).The levels of FSH and E2 in the moxibustion group were obviously improved than those of the acupuncture group(P<0.05).Conclusion Both acupuncture and moxibustion can relieve the sleep quality of patients with PMI,which may be associated with their effect in regulating serum hormone levels.The therapeutic effect of moxibustion is superior to that of acupuncture.

      摘要:Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of plum-blossom needle tapping plus moxibustion in the treatment of post-stroke neurogenic bladder(PSNB).Methods A total of 60 PSNB patients were equally randomized into control group(16 men and 14 women,65.6±7.9 years in age,10.1±6.3 months in the duration of disease)and treatment group(18 men and 12 women,63.8±8.5 years in age,9.8±6.5 months in the duration of disease).Patients of the control group were treated by asking the patients to make a pelvic muscular exercise and passive intermittent urethral catheterization.For patients of the treatment group,aplum-blossom needle was used to alternatively tap the bilateral Shenshu(BL23),Qihaishu(BL24),Guanyuanshu(BL26),Xiaochangshu(BL27),Pangguangshu(BL28),Huiyang(BL35),Shangliao(BL31),etc.,followed by performing moxibustion over the skin of Shenque(CV8),Guanyuan(CV4),Qihai(CV6)and Zhongji(CV3),etc.about 15 min.In addition,patients without spontaneous urination were also received urethral catheterization as those in the control group.The treatment was given once every day except the weekends and for two months.The integrated symptom score was assessed.The frequencies of diurnal urination and urinary incontinence,and the urination volume every time were respectively recorded for consecutive 3 days before and after the treatment,and the residual urine volume was also measured.The therapeutic effect was evaluated based on the status and frequency of diurnal urination and residual urine volume each time.Results Of the two 30 cases in the control and treatment groups,2(6.7%)and 5(16.7%)were cured,8(26.7%)and 12(40.0%)experienced marked improvement in their symptoms,13(43.3%)and 11(36.7%)were improved,7(23.3%)and 2(6.7%)failed,with the effective rates being 76.7% and 93.3%,respectively.The effective rate of the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).After the treatment,the integrated symptom score,residual urine volume,and frequencies of diurnal urination and urinary incontinence were significantly decreased,and the diurnal urination volume was obviously increased in comparison with their own pre-treatment in both groups(all P<0.05). The therapeutic effect of the treatment group was significantly superior to that of the control group in reducing the integrated symptom score,residual urine volume,and frequencies of diurnal urination and urinary incontinence(P<0.05),and in increasing the diurnal urination volume(P<0.05).Conclusion Plum-blossom needle tapping plus moxibustion is an effective option for the treatment of PSNB in improving symptoms,in reducing the residual urine volume and frequencies of diurnal urination and urinary incontinence,and in increasing the diurnal urination volume,deserving being promoted in primary care.

      摘要:Objective To compare the therapeutic effect of fire-needling plus stuck-needle-stretching and conventional acupuncture for post-stroke foot drop,so as to provide a reference foundation for optimizing clinical treatment regimen.Methods A total of60 patients with post-stroke foot drop were equally randomized into a treatment group and a control group.In the treatment group,fire-needling plus stuck-needle-stretching was applied to acupoint pairs Jiexi(ST41)-Taichong(LR3),Xiajuxu(ST39)-ST41,Fenglong(ST40)-ST39,shangjuxu(ST37)-ST40,Zusanli(ST36)-ST37,Dubi(ST35)-ST36,Xuanzhong(GB39)-Qiuxu(GB40)on the affected side,and Chengshan(BL57)and Ashi points were swiftly pricked with red-hot filiform needle without needle retaining.In the conventional acupuncture group,the same acupoints were needled with filiform needles,and the treatment for both groups was given once a day,6 times a week,for consecutive 4 weeks.The spasm severity of posterior triceps of the lower leg was evaluated using modified Ashworth scale,the tibial anterior muscle strength was measured using Lovett'and Martin's methods,the activities of daily living were assessed using modified Barthel's index,the walking ability was evaluated using Holden walking rating scale and the lower limb motor function assessed using Fugl-Meyer assessment scale,and the severity of foot drop was assessed in reference to Garceau criteria.Results After the treatment,the score of the modified Ashworth scale was significantly reduced(P<0.01),and those of Lovett muscle strength scale,Barthel index,Holden walking rating scale and FuglMeyer lower limb motor function scale were considerably increased in both groups versus their own pre-treatment(P<0.01).The therapeutic effect of the treatment group was significantly superior to that of the control group in reducing Ashworth scale score and in increasing the scores of Lovett muscle strength test,Barthel index,Holden walking function scale and Fugl-Meyer lower limb motor function scale(P<0.01).Of the two 30 cases in the control and treatment groups,10(33.33%)and 14(46.67%)experienced a remarkable improvement,10(33.33%)and 12(40.00%)were improved,7(23.33%)and 3(10.00%)had a mild progress,3(10.00%)and 1(3.33%)failed,with the excellent plus good effective rates being 66.67% and 86.67%,respectively,but without significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Both fire-needling plus stuck-needlestretching and conventional acupuncture are effective in the treatment of post-stroke foot drop,but the former is relatively better.

      摘要:Objective To compare the distribution regularity of the pressure-sensitive acupoints in patients with chronic non-atrophic gastritis(CNAG)and healthy subjects,so as to provide suitable acupoint combinations for clinical treatment.Methods A total of 120 volunteer subjects including 60 CNAG patients(29 men and 31 women,(40.7±10.3)years at the average age)and 60 healthy subjects(28 men and 32 women,and(40.8±10.2)years at the average age)were enrolled in the present study.The pressure-sensitive acupoints were checked by a fixed operator using his finger pulp along the body trunk and the four limbs and marked on a prepared human dermatome graph.The number of pressing sensitive acupoints were counted,and the relationship between the distribution of the detected sensitive acupoints and the position of meridians and nerve segments was analyzed.Results The incidence of pressure-sensitive acupoint in CNAG patients and healthy subjects were 86.7% and15.0%,respectively.In 60 CNAG patients,the most frequently met sensitive acupoints were Xuehai(SP10),Zhongwan(CV13),and Zhongting(CV17)in sequence,mainly covering the Conception Vessel,Spleen Meridian of Foot-Taiyin(SP),and the Stomach Meridian of Foot-Yangming(ST).The sensitive acupoints presented a nerve-segmental distribution within T7—T10 and L3—L5.Conclusion The pressure-sensitive acupoints present a nerve-segmental distribution and have a higher corresponding rate with some meridians related to the stomach,especially under diseased conditions.

      摘要:Objective To investigate the features,dominant indications and application regularities of eye acupuncture therapy in clinical practice.Methods We first collected original articles,academic dissertations,conference articles,and case reports from databases of CNKI,Wanfang,and Chinese biomedical literature(CBM)from Jan.1 of 1980 to Dec.31 of 2017,and medical records from medical books of Zhonghua Yan Zhen(Chinese Eye Acupuncture Therapy),Yanzhen Shijian Lu(Records of Application of Eye Acupuncture Therapy),and Peng Jing-shan's Yanzhen Liaofa Yanjiu(Peng Jing-shan's Eye Acupuncture Therapy)by using keyword of"eye acupuncture".Then,we established an"Eye-acupuncture Database"after sorting,screening,typing-in,checking,and extraction of the collected data by SQL server 2005 and 2005 Analysis Services(SASS),followed by analysis of the dominant indications,needling methods,needle manipulations,principles for acupoint selection,and clinical effect.Results Among the 850 articles retrieved,178 were eligible to be subjected to analysis,including 42 disorders/diseases in 7 categories.The eye acupuncture therapy has the highest application frequency for 19 types of disorders/diseases of the internal medicine,such as sequela of apoplexy,hiccup,insomnia,vertigo,hypertension,etc.,followed by head and body pain(7 types:headache,lumbago,sciatica,shoulder pain,etc.),disorders of the ophthalmology and otorhinolaryngology(deafness,squinting eyes,dry eye syndrome,amblyopia,etc.),traumatic injury,gynecopathy,acute pain(biliary colic,renal colic).The effect rate was 95.87%for disorders of the gynecopathy,95.54%for head and body pain,94.53%for traumatic skin injury,92.16%for emergency,91.98%for disorders of the five sense organs,91.43%for problems of the internal medicine,etc.Regarding the principle of acupoint selection,acupoints were chosen mainly according to the meridian running(146 articles),local region of the eye(14 articles)and diseased location(153 articles).A total of 157 articles have a marked description about the needling methods,including horizontal needling(81 articles),intra-orbital straight needling(22 articles),extra-orbital oblique needling(13 articles),etc.The duration of needle retaining was mostly from 15 to 30 minutes,and the handle-scraping was frequently adopted(34 articles),and the overall treatment frequency ranged from 11 to 20 times.In regard to the medical records,a total of 53 types of disorders were involved,including 37 types of the internal medicine such as stroke sequelae(34 articles),facial paralysis(11 articles),etc.The acupoints were selected according to the local region of eye(129 articles),the needle insertion involved horizontal needling(102 articles),and cured rate reported was higher than 90%.Conclusion Eye acupuncture therapy is widely used for a variety of disorders and has a positive effect,particularly for stroke sequelae and various acute and chronic pain problems.

      摘要:In the present paper,we summarized the relevant research literature on the underlying mechanism of electroacupuncture(EA)intervention in improving cerebral ischemia(CI)in middle cerebral artery occlusion(MCAO)model rats in recent5 years from preconditioning and regular intervention.Outcomes showed that both EA preconditioning and regular intervention could relieve CI by reducing toxicity of excitatory amino acids(glutamate,aspartate)and TLR4/NF-κB-mediated inflammatory cascade reaction to relieve inflammatory injury.Moreover,EA preconditioning also could suppress the expression of pro-apoptosis genes and proteins to relieve apoptosis,regulate activation of microglia,and down-regulate the expression of blood brain barrier integrity-related matrix metalloprotein 9.Regular EA intervention also could promote angiogenesis to increase supply of blood and oxygen,facilitate regeneration,proliferation and differentiation of neural stem cells via triggering activation of Notch and Shh signaling pathways,and promote the secretion of neurotrophin by up-regulating the expression of brain derived neurotrophic factor and nerve growth factor/Trk A receptor,and promote expression of axon growth and synaptic remodeling-related factor(Ephrin B2/Eph B2)and sr-GTPase activating protein 1 and cell division cycle 42(Cdc42,axon growth and orientated down-stream molecules).However,up to now,the conclusion is still fragmentary and one-sided,and can not explain the specific mechanism of electroacupuncture in MCAO rats,needing further in-depth study.

      摘要:Acupuncture is widely used in the treatment of ischemic diseases of the central nervous system in different clinical stages and has achieved a good clinical effect.The current research showed that acupuncture can improve cerebral blood flow perfusion via increasing blood flow volume,blood flow velocity,the levels of vasomotor substances and reduction of blood viscosity and erythrocyte aggregation index.In recent years,many studies focused on the pathophysiological mechanism of acupuncture in improving cerebral ischemia via triggering the cholinergic vasodilatation,up-regulation of expression of vascular-related proteins and genes,attenuation of inflammatory reaction,etc.Currently,the methods for evaluating the effect of acupuncture are mostly noninvasive functional magnetic resonance imaging in healthy subjects.Future studies should include united selection of acupoints and acupuncture needle manipulations,more reasonable combination of different acupoints,united outcome evaluative standards,better repeatability,employment of big data,etc.
