摘要:Objective To observe the effect of acupuncture and moxibustion on renal Fas and Fas ligand(FasL expression in contrast-induced nephropathy(CIN)diabetic rats,so as to explore its protective mechanisms.Methods A total of 40 diabetic male SD rats were randomly divided into control,model,acupuncture,moxibustion and combined treatment(acupuncture combined with moxibustion)groups(n=8 rats in each group).The diabetic model was established by i.p.injection of Streptozotocin(60 mg/kg),followed by regular raising for 9 weeks.Then,the manual acupuncture,moxibustion or acupuncture plus moxibustion at "Sanyinjiao"(SP6)"Shenshu"(BL23)and"Pishu"(BL20)was given to the diabetic rats,once daily for 7 days.On the 8 th day,these diabetic rats received i.p.injection of compound Meglumine Diatrizoate Injection(10 mL/kg)for establishing CIN model.Then,the venous blood specimens were collected for detecting contents of serum urine nitrogen(BUN,with urease method)and creatinine(Scr,with picric acid method).The kindey tissues were exteriorized for detecting nitricoxide synthase(NOS,with oxidation-reduction method),malondialdehyde(MDA,with thiobarbituric acid method),superoxide dismutase(SOD,with xanthine oxidase technique)and total antioxidant capacity(T-AOC,with colorimetric technique).The expression levels of Fas and FasL in the kidney tissues were detected by quantitative real-time PCR and Western blot separately.The histopathological and ultrastructural changes of the kidney were observed under microscope(after H.E.staining)and transmission electron microscope,respectively.Results Following modeling and compared with the control group,the BUN,Scr and renal MDA contents,and Fas and FasL mRNA and protein expression levels were significantly increased(P<0.01,P<0.05),and renal NOS,SOD and T-AOC levels considerably decreased in the model group(P<0.05).After the interventions and compared with the model group,serum BUN and Scr contents and renal Fas mRNA and protein expression levels in both acupuncture group and combined treatment group,BUN in the moxibustion group,and renal MDA content and FasL mRNA and protein expression levels in the 3 treatment groups were obviously down-regulated(P<0.05,P<0.01),while renal NOS in the 3 treatment groups,and SOD and T-AOC levels in the combined treatment group were considerably up-regulated(P<0.01,P<0.05).The effects of the combined treatment were significantly superior to those of simple acupuncure and simple moxibustion in down-regulating serum BUN contents,and Fas and FasL mRNA and protein expression levels,and in up-regulating renal NOS,SOD and T-AOC activity(P<0.05).No significant differences were found between the acupuncture and moxibustion groups in down-regulating serum BUN,Scr and renal MDA contents,and Fas and FasL mRNA and protein levels,as well as in up-regulating NOS content(P>0.05).H.E.staining showed lobular changes of glomeruli,many local necrosis and vascular degeneration in the model group,and transmission electron microscope displayed thickened basement membrane of the glomerular blood loop,many vacuoles in the cytoplasm of renal tubular epithelial cells,severely swollen mitochondria with disordered,broken or disappeared cristae,and some apoptotic cells in the model group,which were relatively milder in the combined treatment group.Conclusion Joint application of acupuncture and moxibustion can reduce the oxidative stress and renal injury in CIN diabetic rats,which may be associated with its function in down-regulating the expression of renal Fas and FasL genes and proteins.Acupuncture and moxibustion has a synergistic effect.

摘要:Objective To investigate the effect of electroacupuncture(EA)plus treadmill exercise on the expression of peroxisome proliferator activated receptorγcoactivator 1α(PGC-1α),Irisin,AMP-activated protein kinase(AMPK)in skeletal muscle of diet-induced obesity(DIO)rats,so as to explore its mechanism underlying body reduction promotion.Methods Forty-two male SD rats were divided into normal diet(control,n=10),high fat diet(model),EA,treadmill exercise and EA plus treadmill exercise(combination)groups(n=8 in each of the latter 4 groups).The obesity model was established by feeding the rats with high fat diet.EA(2 Hz/15 Hz,1 mA)was applied to bilateral"Zusanli"(ST36)and"Tianshu"(ST25)for 30 min,5 times per week for a total of 8 weeks.Rats of the treadmill exercise group were forced to perform exercise on a treadmill(16 m/min)for 30 min,5 times per week for a total of 8 weeks.Rats in the combination group received the above-mentioned two methods.During the treatment,rats in the control group were fed with normal fodder,rats in other groups were fed with high fat fodder,and their body weight was measured once a week.The expression levels of PGC-1α,fibronectin typeⅢ domain containing 5(FNDC5),AMPK mRNA and protein of skeletal muscle were measured by quantitative real-time PCR and Western blot,respectively.Results After modeling,the body weight was significantly increased(P<0.05),and the expression levels of PGC-1αand FNDC5 mRNA and protein,AMPK mRNA and phosphorylated AMPK(p-AMPK)protein in the skeletal muscle were considerably decreased in the model group relevant to the control group(P<0.05).Following the treatment,the body weight was significantly down-regulated,while the expression levels of PGC-1αand FNDC5 mRNAs and proteins,AMPK mRNA and p-AMPK protein were obviously upregulated in the EA,treadmill exercise and combination groups relevant to the model group(P<0.05).The therapeutic effect of EA plus treadmill exercise was significantly superior to those of both simple EA and simple treadmill exercise in down-regulating the body weight,as well as in up-regulating the expression of PGC-1αand FNDC5 mRNAs and proteins,AMPK mRNA,and p-AMPK protein(P<0.05).Conclusion Both EA and treadmill exercise can significantly increase the expression of PGC-1α,FNDC5 and p-AMPK in skeletal muscle of DIO rats,suggesting their efficacy in restoring fatty acid oxidation in skeletal muscle cells and improving mitochondrial function,which may contribute to their function in body reduction.The therapeutic effect of EA plus treadmill exercise is better than that of simple EA and simple treadmill exercise.

摘要:Objective To observe the effect of acupoint catgut embedding on the expression of nucleotide-binding oligomerization domain(NOD)-like receptor protein 3(NLRP3)inflammasome,interleukin(IL)-1βand IL-18 in the uterine tissue of primary dysmenorrhea(PD)rats,so as to explore its underlying mechanisms in improving PD.Methods Forty female SD rats were randomly divided into control,model,acupoint catgut embedding and medication groups(n=10 in each group).The PD model was established by subcutaneous injection of Estradiol Benzoate(0.5 mg/rat on the 1 st and 10 thday,and 0.2 mg/rat from 2 nd to 9 th day)and Oxytocin(2 U/rat,i.p.).The catgut embedding was applied to bilateral"Sanyinjiao"(SP6)and"Guanyuan"(CV4)on the 1 st and 5 th day after modeling.Rats of the medication group were treated by intragastric perfusion of Fenbid(0.8 mL/rat,125 mg/100 mL)once daily for 10 days.The body writhing times in 30 min were recorded.The histopathological changes of the uterine were observed by H.E.staining.Western blot was used to detect the expression of NLRP 3,caspase-1,IL-1βand IL-18 in uterine tissues.Results The body writhing times were notably more in the model group than in the control group(P<0.01),and obviously fewer in both medication and catgut embedding groups than in the model group(P<0.05,P<0.01).After modeling,the rats' endometrium was extensively exfoliated and got swelling,the histopathological score and the expression levels of NLRP3,caspase-1,IL-1βand IL-18 proteins in the uterus tissue were evidently increased in the model group relevant to the control group(P<0.01).Following the treatment,the degree of endometrial exfoliation and edema of the uterus tissue was lightened,the pathological score was significantly reduced(P<0.01),and the expression levels of caspase-1,IL-1βand IL-18 protein in uterus tissue were markedly decreased in both acupoint catgut embedding and medication groups(P<0.01,P<0.05).The NLRP3 protein expression was significantly decreased in the acupoint catgut embedding group compared with that in the model group(P<0.01).The therapeutic effect of acupoint catgut embedding was significantly superior to that of medication in reducing writhing times and down-regulating expression of NLPR3 protein(P<0.01).No significant differences were found between catgut embedding and medication in histopathological score,and expression levels of caspase-1,IL-1β and IL-18 proteins(P>0.05).Conclusion The acupoint catgut embedding can significantly alleviate the symptoms and pathological damage in PD rats,which may be related to its effect in inhibiting the activation of NLRP3 inflammasome in the uterine tissue.
摘要:Objective To explore the effect of electroacupuncture(EA)at "Zusanli"(ST36)on gastrointestinal motility and expression of autophagy marker LC3 and autophagy signaling pathway molecule AMP-activated protein kinase(AMPK)in rats with functional dyspepsia(FD),so as to explore its mechanisms underlying improvement of FD.Methods A total of 40 male SD rats were randomly divided into blank control,model,EA,AMPK inhibitor and EA+AMPK inhibitor groups,with 8 rats in each group.The FD model was established by tail-clip(30 min/time,twice daily)+single day feeding,and gavage of normal saline(2 mL/time,twice a day)for 2 successive weeks.For rats of EA and EA+AMPK inhibitor groups,EA(4 Hz,1.0 mA)was applied to bilateral ST36 for 20 min,once daily for 7 successive days.For rats of the AMPK-inhibitor and EA+AMPK inhibitor groups,Compound C(20 mg/kg)solution was administered by intraperitoneal injection before every EA administration.The gastric residual rate and small intestinal transit rate were calculated based on the weight of stomach and length of ink propelling and total small intestine,respectively.The expression levels of c-kit,microtubule-associated protein 1 light chain 3,Beclin 1,phosphorylated(p)-AMPK and p-unc-51 like autophagy activating kinase 1(ULK1)in the gastric antrum tissue were detected by using Western blot.Results Compared with the blank control group,the gastric residual rate and the expression levels of LC3-Ⅱ/LC3Ⅰ,Beclin 1,p-AMPK and p-ULK1 proteins were significantly increased,and the small intestinal transit rate and the expression of c-kit protein obviously decreased in the model group(P<0.01).After EA intervention,modeling-induced increase of gastric residual rate and the expression of LC3-Ⅱ/LC3Ⅰ,Beclin 1,p-AMPK and p-ULK1 proteins,and decrease of small intestinal transit rate and expression of c-kit protein were reversed in the EA,AMPK inhibitor and EA+AMPK inhibitor groups(P<0.05,P<0.01).The therapeutic effect of EA and EA+AMPK was significantly superior to that of AMPK inhibitor in downregulating the expression of LC3Ⅱ/LC3Ⅰ,Beclin 1,p-AMPK and p-ULK1 proteins and in up-regulating the expression of c-kit protein(P<0.05,P<0.01).No significant differences were found among the EA,AMPK inhibitor and EA+AMPK inhibitor groups in lowering gastric residual rate and elevating the small intestinal transit rate(P>0.05).Conclusion EA at ST36 can promote gastrointestinal motility in FD rats,which is possibly mediated by inhibiting excessive autophagy of interstitial cells of Cajal via down-regulating AMPK/ULK1 signaling.

摘要:Objective To observe the impact of electroacupuncture(EA)on liver lipid metabolism and expression of hepatic sirtuin 1(Sirt1)and peroxisome proliferator activated receptorγ(PPARγ)of abdominal obese rats induced by high-fat diet.Methods Eighteen male SD rats were divided into blank control,model and EA groups(n=6 per group).The abdominal obesity model was established by feeding the rats with high-fat diet for 12 weeks.EA(2 Hz/15 Hz,1.5 mA)was applied to bilateral"Daimai"(GB26)for 20 min every time,once every other day for 8 weeks.Rats of the model group were also restrained for 20 min.The body mass and abdominal circumference were measured every week,and the contents of serum cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),alanine transaminase(ALT),aspartate aminotransferase(AST)were detected by using an automated biochemical analyzer.Histopathological changes of the liver tissues were observed under microscope after oil red "O"staining.The expression of hepatic Sirt1 and PPARγ mRNAs and proteins were detected using quantitative real time PCR and Western blot,separately.Results After modeling,the body weight and abdominal circumference,and serum TC,TG,ALT and AST contents,and expression of hepatic PPARγ mRNA and protein were significantly increased(P<0.001,P<0.01,P<0.05),and the expression levels of hepatic Sirt1 mRNA and protein obviously down-regulated(P <0.05,P <0.01)in the model group.Following EA intervention,the increased body weight and abdominal circumference,and serum TC,TG,ALT and AST contents,and hepatic PPARγ mRNA and protein expression were remarkably suppressed(P<0.05,P<0.01),and the decreased hepatic Sirt1 mRNA and protein were remarkably up-regulated(P<0.001,P<0.05).The lipid droplets in hepatocytes were reduced in the EA group relevant to the model group.Conclusion EA intervention can significantly improve the liver lipid metabolism of abdominal obese rats,which is possibly related with its effect in up-regulating the expression of hepatic Sirt1 mRNA and protein,and in down-regulating the expression of hepatic PPARγ mRNA and protein.
摘要:Objective To observe the effect of electroacupuncture(EA)on expression of cerebral Cx43 protein in acute cerebral infarction(ACI)rats so as to explore its mechanisms underlying improvement of ACI.Methods Sixty male SD rats were randomly divided into sham operation,model and EA preconditioning groups(n=20 in each group).Fourteen days before modeling,the rats in the EA preconditioning group accepted EA stimulation(3 Hz/15 Hz,1 mA)at Dingzhongxian(MS5)and Dingpangxian(MS8)for 30 min,once daily,6 times a week for 2 weeks.The ACI model was established by occlusion of the middle cerebral artery for 120 min,followed by reperfusion.Twenty-four hours after modeling,the neurological function was evaluated according to the Zea-Longa's score criteria.The triphenyltetrazolium chloride(TTC)staining method was used to detect the cerebral infarct volume.The expression levels of Cx43,phosphorylated(p)-Cx43 and PKC proteins in the right cerebral cortical infarction region were detected by Western blot.Results The neurological function scores and the infarct volume were significantly higher in the model group than those in the sham operation group(P<0.05),and obviously lower in the EA preconditioning group than in the model group(P<0.05).The expression level of cerebral Cx43 protein was significantly increased(P<0.05),and those of p-Cx43 and PKC proteins were notably decreased in the model group relevant to the sham operation group(P<0.05).In the EA preconditioning group,the expression level of Cx43 was significantly decreased and those of p-Cx43 and PKC proteins were significantly increased than those in the model group(P <0.05).Conclusion EA pretreatment can relieve neurological damage and reduce cerebral infarction volume in ACI rats,which may be related to its function in promoting Cx43 protein phosphorylation via up-regulating PKC expression in the ischemic cerebral region.

摘要:Objective To observe the effect of electroacupuncture(EA)on expression of 5-HT_(1A)receptor(5-HT_(1A)R and c-fos proteins in the hypothalamus and colon tissues in functional diarrhea(FD)rats so as to explore its underlying mechanisms in improving intestinal function via brain-gut axis.Methods A total of 40 SD rats were randomized into blank control,model,EA Tianshu(ST25)-Dachangshu(BL25,ST25-BL25)and EA Quchi(LI11)-Shangjuxu(ST37,LI11-ST37)groups.The FD model was established by gavage of Folium Sennae(10 mg/kg)and constraint immobilization once daily for 29 days.EA(10 Hz/50 Hz,1.5 mA)was applied to bilateral ST25 and BL25 in EA ST25-BL25 group,and bilateral LI11 and ST37 in EA LI11-ST37 group for20 min,once daily for successive 10 days.The expression of 5-HT_(1A)R and c-fos protein in the hypothalamus and colon tissues was determined by using Western blot.The state of stool was recorded for calculating the loose stool rate and diarrhea index.Results After modeling,the loose stool rate,diarrhea index and expression levels of 5-HT_(1A)R and c-fos proteins in the colon and hypothalamus tissues were obviously increased in the model group in contrast with the blank control group(P<0.01,P<0.05).Following EA intervention,the loose stool rate and diarrhea index,the expression levels of 5-HT_(1A)R and c-fos proteins in the hypothalamus and colon in the EA ST25-BL25 group,and the expression of 5-HT_(1A)R in the colon in the EA LI11-ST37 group were significantly downregulated relevant to the model group(P<0.01,P<0.05).No significant changes were found in loose stool rate and diarrhea index,and the expression levels of hypothalamic 5-HT_(1A)R and hypothalamic and colonic c-fos proteins in the EA LI11-ST37 group(P>0.05).The expression levels of 5-HT_(1A)R protein in the hypothalamus and c-fos protein in the hypothalamus and colon in the EA LI11-ST37 group were significantly up-regulated relevant to the EA ST25-BL25 group(P<0.05).Conclusion EA of ST25-BL25 can down-regulate expression of 5-HT_(1A)R and c-fos proteins in the hypothalamus and colon tissue in FD rats,which may contribute to its function in improving symptoms of FD possibly via brain-gut axis.
摘要:Objective To observe the efficacy of Tongdu Tiaoshen(dredging Governor Vessel and regulating mind needling combined with swallowing training in the treatment of ischemic stroke(IS)with dysphagia,and to investigate its effect on cerebral blood flow and serum levels of brain-derived neurotrophic factor(BDNF)and nerve growth factor(NGF).Methods A total of 100 IS inpatients with dysphagia were enrolled in the present study,and randomly and equally divided into control group and treatment group by using a random number table.The patients of the control group received routine swallowing training including tongue extending and retracting,cheek-muscle training,breathing exercise,and laryngopharyngeal exercise,beginning from the 2 nd day after hospitalization.The patients of the treatment group received manual acupuncture stimulation of Dazhui(GV14),Fengfu(GV16),Shenting(GV24),Shendao(GV11),Baihui(GV20),Shuigou(GV26),etc.,on the basic treatment as those mentioned in the control group.The treatment was conducted once daily,5 times per week and for 4 successive weeks.The swallowing ability was tested by using video fluoroscopic swallowing study(VFSS),Kubota water swallowing test,and the standard swallowing function assessment(SSA)scale,separately,and patients' daily life quality was assessed by using swallowing related quality of life questionnaire(SWAL-QOL).The cerebral hemodynamics including mean blood flow velocity(Vm),maximum peak flow speed(Vs),and vascular resistance index(RI)of the bilateral cerebral arteries was detected by transcranial color Doppler ultrasound tests,and serum BDNF and NGF contents were assayed by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay.The therapeutic effect of swallowing ability was evaluated after the treatment.Results After 4 weeks' treatment,the scores of Kubata water swallowing test,SSA,and SWAL-QOL and RI were considerably decreased(P<0.01),and the VFSS scores,Vs and Vm levels as well as serum BDNF and NGF contents were significantly increased(P<0.01)in both groups compared with their own pre-treatment.Of the 48 and 49 cases in the control and treatment groups,4(8.33%)and 8(16.33%)were cured,26(54.17%)and 33(67.35%)effective,18(37.50%)and 8(16.33%)failed,with the effective rate being62.50% and 83.67%,respectively.The therapeutic effect of the treatment group was significantly superior to that of the control group in the effective rate(P<0.05),and in lowering the scores of Kubota water swallowing test,SWAL-QOL,SSA,RI,and in up-regulating the scores of VFSS,Vs and Vm,and serum BDNF and NGF levels(P<0.01).Conclusion Tongdu Tiaoshen needling combined with swallowing training is effective in improving swallowing ability,promoting cerebral blood flow and in up-regulating serum neurotrophic factor levels in patients with dysphagia after ischemic stroke.
摘要:Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect of blade needle therapy for cervicogenic dizziness(CD)and changes of blood flow of vertebral artery in patients with CD.Methods A total of 60 patients with CD were equally randomized into medication(16 women and 14 men,38.9±10.9 years in age)group and blade needle group(17 women and 13 men,40.1±12.4 years in age).Patients of the blade needle group were treated by performing blade needle stimulation(longitudinal cutting along the musculoaponeurotic layer)to the tender points(attachment points)of the bilateral superior and inferior oblique muscles of the head,major and minor posterior cephalic rectus,about 2/3 of suboccipital nuchal line,and near the cervical processes of C1—C2 segments.The treatment was conducted once every 3 days for 15 days.Patients of the medication group were ordered to take Flunarizine Hydrochloride capsules(10 mg)once every night for 15 days.Transcranial Doppler was used to measure changes of mean blood flow velocities of the left vertebral artery(LVA),right vertebral artery(RVA),and basilar artery(BA)before and after the treatment.The therapeutic effect was assessed according to the Criteria for Diagnosis and Therapeutic Effect Evaluation of Syndromes or Illnesses of Traditional Chinese Medicine(1994)and the Assessment Scale for Symptoms and Function of Cervicogenic Dizziness(2017).Results Following the treatment,of the two 30 cases in the medication and blade needle groups,5(16.7%)and 7(23.3%)were cured,16(53.3%)and 20(66.7%)were improved in their symptoms,9(30.0%)and 3(10.0%)failed,with the effective rate being 70.0%and 90.0%,respectively.The effective rate of the blade needle was significantly superior to that of the medication(P<0.05).The scores of vertigo,neck-should pain,daily living and work,psychology,social adaptation,and total score of the assessment scale,as well as the average blood flow velocities of LVA,RVA and BA were considerably increased in both groups in comparison with their own pre-treatment(P<0.05),and obviously higher in the blade needle group than in the medication group(P<0.05).Conclusion Blade needle treatment has a good clinical effect in the treatment of CD patients,which is probably associated with its function in increasing blood perfusion of the brain tissue,and thus being worthy of clinical application.

摘要:Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of body acupuncture combined with auricular acupuncture in the treatment of woman menopause insomnia induced by disharmony between the heart and kidney.Methods A total of 111 outpatients with menopausal insomnia were randomly divided into treatment group(n=55,body acupoints plus auricular points)and control group(n=56,body acupoints).For control group,Shenmen(HT7),Sanyinjiao(SP6),Anmian,Zhaohai(KI6),Shenmai(BL62),Sishencong(EX-HN1),Xinshu(BL15)and Shenshu(BL21)were needled with filiform needles,and HT7,SP6,Anmian,BL15 and BL21 were also stimulated with electroacupuncture(EA)for 30 min,once every other day,3 times a week for 3 weeks.For the treatment group,auricular points as Kidney,Shenmen,Sympathetic and Endocrine around the ear canal and the ear cavity were punctured with filiform needles in combination with the same intervention methods mentioned above in the control group.The quality and efficiency of sleep were assessed by using Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)scale before and after the treatment.The symptom scores of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)and the therapeutic effect were determined according to the "Guide Principles for Clinical Research of New Drugs of TCM"(formulated by Chinese Ministry of Health,1997).Results After the treatment,the scores of sleep quantity and effective rate of PSQI scale,and those of insomnia and dreaminess,dysphoria with feverish sensation in chest,palms and soles,paplpitation and irritability,fatigue and forgetfulness of TCM were reduced significantly in both groups compared with their own pre-treatment(P<0.05).Of the 56 and 55 cases in the control and treatment groups,18(32.1%)and 30(54.5%)experienced a marked improvement in their symptoms,28(50.0%)and 22(40.0%)were effective,and 10(17.9%)and 3(5.5%)failed,with the effective rate being 82.1% and94.5%,respectively.The therapeutic effect of stimulation of the body acupoints plus auricular acupoints was significantly superior to that of stimulation of simple body acupoints in lowering scores of PSQI scale,insomnia and dreaminess,dysphoria with feverish sensation in chest,palms and soles,dizziness and tinninus,paplpitation and irritability,and tital fever and night sweating of TCM,as well as the effective rate(P<0.05).Conclusion Both body acupuncture and body acupuncture combined with auricular acupuncture are effective in the treatment of woman menopause insomnia due to disharmony between the heart and kidney,and the two combined treatment was evidently better.

摘要:The quantity of mild moxibustion stimulation is an important factor affecting clinical therapeutic effect.In the present study,we collected related literature by using key word "moxibustion stimulation quantity" from CNKI Database and make a summary about its concept.The quantity of mild moxibustion stimulation has two common characters,namely thermal intensity and cumulative stimulating quantity,and contains 6 components(parameters),including thermal energy,thermal stimulus,heated area of the skin,and stimulating duration,intensity and frequency.According to the facts mentioned above,we hold that the mild moxibustion quantity actually has 3 dimensions,i.e.,the duration of stimulation,the stimulating quantity of one treatment session,and the total stimulating quantity of multiple treatment sessions.Accurately grasping and rationally using the basic term of the quantity of mild moxibustion is not only conductive to control clinical moxibustion operation,but also conforms to the basic requirements for quantitative control of intervention measures in experimental researches.

摘要:In this paper,we expound the origin and development of special acupuncture needle tools for cutaneous region,and discuss its mechanisms from modern medical theory.By consulting related acupuncture books and literature and in combination with needles used in clinical practice,we conclude that acupuncture needle tools can be divided into skin massage needle(digital pressing,spoon needle,etc.),cutaneous pricking blood needle(shear needle,three-edged needle,plum blossom needle,etc.),subcutaneous shallow puncture needle(intradermal needle,superficial needle,subcutaneous in-dwelling needle),etc.The skin-brain axis is the core of skin stimulation therapy.Mechanical pressure exerted on the skin surface induced by acupuncture stimulation or pressing,microcirculation changes and drug superposition are probably the underlying mechanisms of special skin acupuncture needle tools for treatment of various clinical disorders.

摘要:At present,intestinal flora has attracted more and more attention from scholars in China and foreign countries,and its association with ischemic stroke(IS)has gradually become a new research hotspot in the field of stroke.Studies also showed that intestinal flora may be a risk factor which directly or indirectly affects the occurrence and development of IS through bacterial metabolites and immune activities.In the present paper,we review the positive effect of acupuncture and moxibustion in alleviating the symptoms of limb locomotor,speech,swallowing dysfunction,cognition,etc.to improve the IS patients' daily life ability and in strengthening the cellular immune function of the body.In addition,acupuncture and moxibustion have a positive effect in regulating intestinal flora and immune inflammation.Hence,in the present paper,we discuss their relationship and the possibility of application of acupuncture and moxibustion therapies to the treatment of IS according to the theory of"intestinal floraimmune response".It is thus reasonable to speculate that acupuncture and moxibustion can be used to promote the recovery of brain tissue injury and neurological function after stroke via correcting intestinal flora disturbance and reducing immune inflammatory response.In-depth exploration of the role of"intestinal flora-immune response"in the treatment of IS and the specific regulatory function of acupuncture and moxibustion will provide new ideas and research approaches to reveal their mechanisms in the treatment of stroke from a new perspective.

摘要:Protein kinase Cε(PKCε)is a transforming oncogene and plays an important role in many cellular processing.In the present paper,we review the development of experimental researches on the acute-chronic pain transformation.Results indicated that prostaglandin E2(PGE2)/EP1 receptor-Gq-PKCε is an important signaling pathway to modulate chronic pain in peripheral dorsal root ganglion(DRG)neurons,and also plays a role in the later stage of hyperalgesia during transformation from acute to chronic pain.PKCεin DRG neurons induces mechanical and thermal hypersensitivity respectively by over expression of transient receptor potential vanilloid 1(TRPV1)and TRP ankyrin-1(TRPA1),further mediating the transformation from acute to chronic pain.Whereas,PGE2-evoked activation of EP1-Gq-PKCεsignaling may be the key link in initiating the pain translation process through regulating downstream TRPA1 and TRPV1.Electroacupuncture(EA)has been used to effectively relieving various types of acute and chronic pain for decades,and can significantly inhibit the expression of PKCεand its upstream and downstream molecules.Therefore,it can be inferred that there exists a possibility of EA interventions in interfering the transformation from acute to chronic pain by regulating peripheral PKCε signaling pathway.
