摘要:Objective To observe the effect of electroacupuncture(EA)combined with rehabilitation training on regional cerebral blood flow(rCBF)and angiogenesis in rats with acute cerebral ischemia(ACI),so as to explore its mechanisms underlying improvement of ACI.Methods A total of 135 male SD rats were divided into 5 groups:shamoperation(sham),model,EA,rehabilitation training and EA+rehabilitation training(combined treatment)groups(n=27 rats in each group). The ACI model was established by occlusion of the middle cerebral artery with thread embolus. EA(2 Hz/20 Hz,3—5 V)was applied to"Baihui"(GV20),"Shuigou"(GV26)and bilateral"Neiguan"(PC6)for 20 min,once daily for 14 days. The rehabilitation training including hair-brushing in an enriched environment(10 min),round wooden-stick turning(10 min),grid-board climbing(10 min),and treadmill running(30 min/d)was condacted once daily for 14 days. The rCBF was measured by Doppler ultrasound. The cerebral infarct volume(CIV)was measured after2,3,5-triphenyltetrazolium chloride(TTC)staining. The expression of CD34+in the ischemic penumbra region of brain tissue was detected by immunohistochemistry,and the expressions of angiogenesis-related factors as vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF),vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2(VEGFR2)and basic fibroblast growth factor(bFGF)proteins in the ischemic brain tissue were detected by Western blot.Results Following modeling,the rCBF levels at the 5 min,3 rd,7 thand 14 thday were significantly decreased in the model group relevant to the sham group(P<0. 01).After the intervention,the rCBF levels were significantly increased on day 3,7 and 14 in the combined treatment group and on day 7 and 14 in both the EA and rehabilitation training groups in comparison with the model group(P<0. 01).The CIV was obvious in the model group in comparison with the sham group(P<0. 01),but was markedly smaller in the EA,rehabilitation training and combined treatment groups on day 3,7 and 14 than in the model group(P<0. 01). The number of CD34+positive cells,and the expression levels of VEGF,VEGFR2,and bFGF proteins in ischemic brain tissues were significantly higher on day 3,7 and 14 in the model group than in the sham group(P<0. 01,P<0. 05),and were further up-regulated considerably at the 3 time-points in the 3 treatment groups(P<0. 01,P<0. 05). The therapeutic effect of EA+rehabilitation training was significantly superior to that of simple EA and simple rehabilitation training in up-regulating rCBF,CD34+positive cell number,and expression levels of VEGF,VEGFR2 and bFGF,and in down-regulating the CIV on day 3,7 and 14(P<0. 05,P<0. 01). No significant differences were found between the EA and rehabilitation groups in the above-mentioned 6 indexes(P>0. 05).Conclusion EA combined with rehabilitation training can reduce the infarct volume and increase rCBF in ACI rats,which is probably associated with its effects in promoting the expression of angiogenesis-related factors of ischemic brain tissues. The effect of EA combined with rehabilitation training is markedly better than that of EA and rehabilitation training alone.
摘要:Objective To observe the effect of auricular electroacupuncture(EA)on intracellular Raf/extracellular signal-regulated kinase(ERK)/ribosomal S6 kinase(RSK)/cAMP response element-binding protein(CREB)signal pathway in the hippocampus of depression model rats,so as to explore its anti-depressive mechanism.Methods A total of 60 male SD rats were randomly divided into control,model,auricular EA,PD98059(ERK inhibitor),DMSO(Dimethylsulfoxide),PD98059+EA groups(n=10 in each group). The rats in the control group were fed with normal diet without any treatment. The depression model was induced by chronic unpredictable mild stress(CUMS)for consecutive21 days. EA(20 Hz,2 mA)was applied to bilateral auricular"Xin"(Heart)and"Shenmen"for 30 min,once daily for28 days. Rats of the PD98059,DMSO and PD98059+EA groups received intracerebroventricular injection of PD98059(100 μmol/L),DMSO and PD98059(dissolved by DMSO)solutions(5 μL/d),respectively,once daily for 28 days.Sucrose preference test(sucrose consumption)was conducted at the baseline,before and after the intervention. The expression of hippocampal Raf,phosphorylated(p)-Raf,ERK,p-ERK,RSK,CREB and p-CREB proteins were detected by Western blot after EA intervention.Results Following modeling,the sucrose consumption volume,and the expression levels of hippocampal Raf,p-Raf,ERK,p-ERK,RSK,CREB,p-CREB proteins were significantly lower in the model group than those in the control group(P<0. 01). Following the treatment,the sucrose consumption and the expression levels of Raf,p-Raf,ERK,p-ERK,RSK,CREB,p-CREB in the auricular EA group and those of p-Raf,ERK and CREB in the PD98059+EA group were obviously increased in comparison with the model group(P<0. 05,P<0. 01),the expression level of p-ERK in the PD98059 group was obviously decreased in comparison with the model group(P<0. 05),suggesting an improvement of depression after auricular EA. Compared with auricular EA group,the expression level of p-ERK,p-CREB and RSK in the PD98059+EA group were significantly decreased(P<0. 05).Conclusion EA of auricular"Xin"and"Shenmen"is able to improve depression in depression rats,which is probably related to its effect in promoting activities of hippocampal Raf/ERK/RSK/CREB signaling.
摘要:Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of electroacupuncture(EA)at five Back-Shu points on sleep,hippocampal peripheral benzodiazepine receptor(PBR) expression and hypothalamic 5-hydroxytryptamine(5-HT),5-hydroxyindoleacetic acid(5-HIAA),tumor necrosis factor alpha(TNF-α)and interleukin(IL)-1β contents in insomnia rats,so as to explore its mechanisms underlying improvement of insomnia.Methods Forty male SD rats were randomly divided into control,model,EA and medication(Diazepam)groups(n=10 rats in each group). The insomnia model was established by intraperitoneal injection(i. p.)of para-Chlorophenylalanine(PCPA,300 mg/kg)once daily for2 days. EA(60 Hz,1 mA)was applied to bilateral five Back-Shu points,i. e.,Feishu(BL13),Xinshu(BL15),Ganshu(BL18),Pishu(BL20)and Shenshu(BL23)for 10 min,once daily for 6 days. Rats of the medication group were treated by gavage of Diazepam(0. 92 mg/kg)once daily for 6 days. The sleep duration was recorded after i. p. of Pentobarbital Sodium(45 mg/kg). Histopathological changes of the hippocampus were displayed by H. E. staining. The contents of 5-HT,5-HIAA,TNF-α and IL-1β in the hypothalamus were assessed by using ELISA. The expression levels of PBR mRNA and protein in the hippocampus were detected by quantitative real-time PCR,immunohistochemistry and Western blot,separately.Results Following modeling,the sleep duration was considerably shortened in rats of the model group relevant to the control group(P<0. 05). After the treatment,the sleep duration was significantly increased in both EA and medication groups relevant to the model group(P<0. 05). After modeling,the hippocampal neurons were obviously decreased in number,and disordered in the arrangement,the levels of hypothalamic 5-HT,5-HIAA,TNF-α,and IL-1β were significantly down-regulated(P<0. 05),and the expression of PBR mRNA and protein in hippocampus was obviously increased relevant to the control group(P<0. 05). Following the treatment,the hippocampal neurons were increased in number and arranged regularly,and the contents of hypothalamic 5-HT,5-HIAA,TNF-α,and IL-1β were considerably increased(P<0. 05),and the expression of PBR mRNA and protein in hippocampus was significantly decreased in both EA and medication groups relevant to the model group(P<0. 05). The therapeutic effect of EA was comparable to that of medication in increasing sleep duration,body weight,5-HT and 5-HIAA contents(P>0. 05),and significantly superior to that of the medication in increasing TNF-α and IL-1β levels(P<0. 05),and considerably superior to that of medication in down-regulating PBR mRNA and protein expression(P<0. 05).Conclusion EA at five Back-Shu-points of the five Zang-organs can significantly improve the sleep in insomnia rats,which is closely associated with its effects in reducing the expression of PBR in hippocampus and up-regulating the levels of 5-HT,5-HIAA,TNF-α and IL-1β in hypothalamus.
摘要:Objective To observe the effect of electroacupuncture(EA)on anti-oxidant function of Leydig cells in aged rats with low testosterone,so as to reveal its underlying mechanism of anti-aging of male reproduction.Methods Eighteen 20 months old SD rats were divided into aged control,medication and EA groups(n=6 in each group),and other6 young male SD rats(2 months of age)were used as the youth control group. The rats of the youth and the aged control groups received subcutaneous injection of 0. 9% normal saline(7 mg·kg-1·3 d-1)for 8 weeks,and those of the medication group received abdominal subcutaneous injection of Testosterone Propionate(7 mg·kg-1·3 d-1) for 8 weeks. EA(2 Hz/100 Hz,1 mA)was applied to bilateral"Shenshu"(BL23)and"Guanyuan"(CV4)for 15 min,once daily for 8 weeks except the weekends. The levels of serum total testosterone(TT)and free testosterone(FT)were determined by enzyme linked immune sorbent assay(ELISA),the immunoactivity of phosphorylated extracellular signalregulated protein kinase(p-ERK)was detected by immunohistochemistry,and the expression levels of ERK,p-ERK,nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2(Nrf2)and heme oxygenase-1(HO-1)proteins in the testis tissues were determined by Western blot.Results Before and after the treatment,the levels of serum TT and FT in the aged control group were significantly lower than those of the youth control group(P<0. 01). After the treatment,the serum TT and FT contents in the EA and medication groups were obviously higher than those in the aged control group(P<0. 01). Compared with the youth control group,the expression levels of ERK,p-ERK,Nrf2 and HO-1 proteins were significantly down-regulated in the aged control group(P<0. 01),while in comparison with the aged control group,the expression levels of ERK,p-ERK,Nrf2 and HO-1 proteins were significantly up-regulated in the medication and EA groups(P<0. 01). The therapeutic effect of EA was notably superior to that of medication in up-regulating the immunoactivity of p-ERK,and the expression levels of ERK,p-ERK,Nrf2 and HO-1 proteins(P<0. 01). No significant differences were found between the EA and medication groups in the increased levels of serum TT and FT after the intervention(P>0. 05).Conclusion EA intervention may increase testosterone level of the aged rats,which may be related to its effects in triggering ERK/Nrf2/HO-1 signaling(anti-oxidative stress signal pathway)in the testis.

摘要:Objective To observe the effect of different frequencies(2 Hz,100 Hz) of electroacupuncture(EA)on limb locomotion and the expression of inflammatory factors IL-1β,IL-6,TNF-α in sciatic nerve,and nuclear factor kappa B(NF-κB)in lumber(L)4—L5 of spinal cord in rats with sciatic nerve injury(SNI),so as to reveal its mechanisms underlying improvement of SNI.Methods A total of 48 SD rats(half male and half female)were equally divided into blank control,model,low frequency(2 Hz)EA and high frequency(100 Hz)EA groups. The SNI model was established by clamping the spinal nerve. EA intervention(2 Hz,100 Hz,1 mA),starting on the 8 thday after modeling,was applied to"Huantiao"(GB30)on the injured side for 15 min,once daily for 14 consecutive days. The sciatic function index(SFI)was calculated to assess the injured hindlimb recovery with reference to BAIN's and colleagues' methods.Histopathological changes of the sciatic nerve were displayed by H. E. staining. The expressions of IL-1β,IL-6 and TNF-α in the sciatic nerve tissue were detected by immunohistochemistry,and the expression of NF-κB in the spinal cord was detected by using Western blot.Results After modeling,the SFI level on day 8 was significantly decreased in the model group(P<0. 01),and no significant differences were found among the model,low frequency EA and high frequency EA groups before the EA intervention(P>0. 05). Following the treatment(at the 22 ndday),the SFI values of both low frequency EA and high frequency EA groups were significantly increased(P<0. 01),suggesting an improvement of the limb motor function,and the SFI of the low frequency EA group was notably higher than that of the high frequency EA group(P<0. 01). In comparison with the blank control group,the expression levels of IL-1β,IL-6,TNF-α in the sciatic nerve and NF-κB protein in the spinal cord were significantly up-regulated(P<0. 05). Following EA intervention,the increased expression levels of IL-1β,IL-6,TNF-α and NF-κB proteins were significantly down-regulated in both low frequency EA and high frequency EA groups(P<0. 05),and the therapeutic effect of low frequency EA was markedly superior to that of high frequency EA in down-regulating the expression levels of IL-1β,IL-6,TNF-α and NF-κB protein(P<0. 05). H. E. staining showed increase of Schwann cells in number,cellular swelling,and disintegration of the axons and myelin sheath,and appearance of vacuolar degeneration in the model group,which was relatively milder in both low frequency EA and high frequency EA groups,particularly in the low frequency EA group.Conclusion EA of GB30 at 2 Hz and 100 Hz can promote the recovery of hindlimb motor function in SNI rats,which is probably related to its function in inhibiting the inflammatory response,and facilitating the repair of the damaged sciatic nerve. 2 Hz EA is better than 100 Hz EA in the therapeutic effect.
摘要:Objective To observe the effect of herbal cake-partitioned moxibustion on renal function and expression of connective tissue growth factor(CTGF),integrin-linked kinase(ILK) and bone morphogenetic protein-7(BMP-7) in chronic renal failure(CRF) rabbits,so as to reveal its mechanisms underlying improvement of CRF.Methods Twenty-four male New Zealand rabbits were randomly divided into control,model,medication and herbal cake-partitioned moxibustion(moxibustion)groups(n=6 rabbits in each group). The CRF model was established by gavage of suspension of Adenine(150 mg·kg-1·d-1)for 21 days. Herbal cake-partitioned moxibustion was applied to"Mingmen"(GV4)and bilateral"Shenshu"(BL23),"Pishu"(BL20)and for 5 moxa-cones every time. Rabbits of the medication group was treated by gavage of Losartan Potassium(2. 33 mg·kg-1·d-1). All the treatments were conducted once daily,12 times a course for consecutive 3 courses with a two-day rest after each course of treatment. Serum creatinine(Scr),blood urea nitrogen(BUN)and 24 h urine protein contents were detected by using an automatic biochemical analyzer.The expression levels of CTGF,ILK and BMP-7 proteins and mRNA in the kidney tissue were determined by Western blot and quantitative real time-PCR,separately.Results Following modeling,Scr and BUN and 24 h urine protein contents were significantly increased in the model group in comparison with the control group(P<0. 01). After the intervention,Scr and BUN contents were all significantly decreased in both the moxibustion and medication groups relevant to the model group(P<0. 01),suggesting an improvement of the renal function. Compared with the control group,the expression levels of ILK and CTGF mRNAs and proteins were obviously up-regulated(P<0. 01),and those of BMP-7 mRNA and protein significantly decreased in the model group(P< 0. 01). In comparison with the model group,the expression levels of ILK and CTGF mRNAs and proteins were significantly down-regulated in the two treatment groups(P<0. 01,P<0. 05),and those of BMP-7 mRNA and protein markedly increased in the two treatment groups(P<0. 01). In comparison with the medication group,the expression level of ILK protein was significantly up-regulated(P<0. 01)and BMP-7 protein was significantly down-regulated(P<0. 01)in the moxibustion group. No significant differences were found between the medication and moxibustion groups in down-regulating the levels of Scr,BUN and 24 h urine protein and expression of ILK mRNA,CTGF mRNA and protein and BMP-7 mRNA(P>0. 05).Conclusion Herbal cake-partitioned moxibustion can improve renal function in CRF rabbits,which may be related to its effects in suppressing the expression of ILK and CTGF,and in up-regulating the expression of BMP-7 in the kidney tissue.
摘要:Objective To explore the effect of moxa-stick moxibustion and joss-stick moxibustion at"Guanyuan"(CV4)on the activity of mast cells in the small intestine tissue in rats.Methods Twelve male SD rats were randomly divided into control,joss-stick moxibustion and moxa-stick moxibustion groups(n=4 rats in each group). Joss-stick or moxa-stick moxibustion was applied to CV4 for 10 min. After moxibustion,the skin temperature of the CV4 region was measured immediately with a thermometer. The mast cells and nerve fibers in the small intestine tissue were displayed by immunofluorescence histochemistry.Results Compared with the control group,the skin temperature of the CV4 region in both the joss-stick and the moxa-stick groups were significantly increased(P<0. 05),while the skin temperature of the moxa-stick group was significantly higher than that in the joss-stick group(P<0. 05). There were a large number of tryptase-positive mast cells in the small intestine of rats,some of which were co-expressed with lysosomal-associated membrane protein 1,displaying an activated state. The average numbers of mast cells in the control,joss-stick and moxastick groups were 9. 2±3. 6,10. 8±5. 3 and 17. 1±6. 3,respectively,being significantly higher in the moxa-stick group than in the control and joss-stick groups(P<0. 05). In addition,calcitonin gene-related peptide(CGRP)and neuropeptide Y(NPY)positive nerve fibers were found around the mast cells in the small intestinal tissues.Conclusion Moxastick moxibustion gives rise a higher temperature at CV4 to activate mast cells surrounded by CGRP and NPY positive nerve fibers in the small intestine tissue in rats,suggesting an involvement of the sensory and sympathetic nervous system in the activation of intestinal mast cells possibly by way of somatic sympathetic reflex.

摘要:Objective To observe the clinical effect of early acupuncture treatment of limb paralysis in patients with traumatic brain injury(TBI)and changes of serum interleukin-6(IL-6),brain-derived neurotrophic factor(BDNF)and nerve growth factor(NGF)levels,so as to explore its mechanism underlying improvement of TBI.Methods A total of 70 TBI inpatients were equally divided into a medication group and an acupuncture plus medication group according to a random number table. The medication contained intravenous drip of Mannitol Injection(125 mL,once every 8 h)and Oxiracetam Injection(4 g,once a day). Starting 72 h after TBI,acupuncture therapy was applied to main points as Fenglong(ST40),Zusanli(ST36),Guanyuan(CV4),Baihui(GV20),Shuigou(GV26)and Fengchi(GB20),etc.The treatment was given once a day for total 28 days. Before and after the treatment,plasma IL-6,BDNF and NGF contents were detected using radioimmunoassay,the volume of the injured brain tissue was detected by using CT scan. The neurological deficit severity was evaluated by using Glasgow Coma Scale(GCS),and the degree of activity of daily living(ADL)ability was assessed by using simplified Fugl-Meyer assessment(FMA)scale,and modified Barthel index(BI),separately.Results After the treatment,the GCS score on day 28,FMA and ADL-BI scores on day 28 and 60 were significantly increased in both medication and acupuncture plus medication groups in comparison with their own pre-treatment(P<0. 05). The focal volume values of the injured brain were significantly decreased on day 14 and 28 in both groups compared with their own pre-treatment(P<0. 05). The therapeutic effect of acupuncture plus medication was obviously superior to that of simple medication in lowering focal injured volume on day 14 and 28,and in increasing FMA and ADL-BI scores on day 28 and 60(P<0. 05). Compared with pre-treatment,the levels of plasma IL-6 on day 3,7 and 14 were significant decreased,and those of plasma BDNF and NGF on day 3,7 and 14 considerably increased in both groups in comparison with their own pre-treatment(P<0. 05). The therapeutic effect of acupuncture plus medication was evidently superior to that of simple medication in lowering IL-6 on day 3 and 7,and in increasing BDNF and NGF levels on day 3,7 and 14(P<0. 05).Conclusion Early acupuncture treatment can significantly improve the TBI patient's limb motor function and daily life activities,which may be related with its effects in reducing the inflammation and increasing BDNF and NGF levels.
摘要:Objective To investigate the effect of transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation(TEAS) on pulmonary function,superoxide dismutase(SOD)activity,and malondialdehyde(MDA)content in patients using tourniquet after lower extremity surgery.Methods A total of 40 patients who underwent lower extremity surgery were equally randomized into control group and TEAS group by using a random number table. All patients underwent lumbar epidural anesthesia combined with block anesthesia. The patients in the TEAS group were given TEAS at Zusanli(ST36)and Sanyinjiao(SP6)beginning from 30 min before surgery to the end of surgery,and those in the control group received TEAS at the same acupoints with minimum current intensity. Mean arterial pressure(MAP)and heart rate(HR)were recorded at each time point(T0:pre-surgery/TEAS,T1:5 min after anesthesia,T2:1 min before tourniquet-loosening,T3:1 min after tourniquet-loosening,T4:5 min after tourniquet-loosening,and T5:6 h after tourniquet-loosening). Blood samples(4 mL)was collected from the radial artery before TEAS and 6 h after loosening tourniquet for analyzing blood gas parameters as partial pressure of caron dioxide(PCO2),arterial partial pressure of oxygen(PaO2),alveolar partial pressure of oxygen(PAO2),alveolar-arterial oxygen pressure difference(PA-aDO2)and respiratory index(RI)by using a blood gas analyzer,and plasma SOD activity and MDA content were assayed by using xanthine oxidase method and thiobarbituric acid colorimetry method,respectively.Results Intra-group comparison showed that compared with T0,a significant increase was found in PA-aDO2 and RI at T5 and a significant reduction in PaO2 and PaO2/PAO2(a/A)ratio in the control group(P<0. 05),and the same changes in the TEAS group(P<0. 05)except a/A ratio. Comparison between two groups showed that at T5,both PaO2 and a/A levels were significantly higher in the TEAS group than in the control group(P<0. 05),and both PA-aDO2 and RI levels were obviously lower in the TEAS group than in the control group(P<0. 05),suggesting an improvement of the pulmonary function after TEAS. At T5,plasma SOD activity was significantly decreased and plasma MDA content was remarkably increased in the control group relevant to T0(P < 0. 05),SOD activity was significantly higher in the TEAS group than in the control group(P<0. 05),and MDA content was evidently lower in the TEAS group than in the control group(P<0. 05),suggesting a reduction of oxidative stress response after TEAS.Conclusion TEAS at ST36 and SP6 can improve pulmonary function and attenuate oxidative stress response in patients using tourniquet after lower extremity surgery.

摘要:Objective To observe the clinical effect of acupuncture plus medication in the treatment of poor ovarian response(POR)patients and to explore its mechanisms in assisting pregnancy.Methods A total of 100 volunteer POR women undergoing in vitro fertilization-embryo transplantation(IVF-ET)were recruited in the present study. On the 1 stcycle of IVF-ET,these POR women received microstimulation of ovulation program(oral administration of Clomiphene,muscular injection of Menotrophin,Chorionic Gonadotrophin triggering,etc.). Before receiving the 2 ndperiod of IVF-ET,these patients were equally and randomly divided into control,medication(Climen,composed of estradiol valerate and cyproterone acetate),acupuncture and acupuncture+medication(combined treatment) groups according to the random number table. Patients of the medication group were asked to orally take Climen(1 tablet/d for 21 days)beginning from the 3 rdday of the menstruation,which was repeated for 3 menstrual cycles. Patients of the acupuncture group received manual acupuncture stimulation of Guanyuan(CV4),and bilateral Taixi(KI3),Sanyinjiao(SP6)of and Taichong(LR3)from day 8 to 15 of menstruation(follicular phase),once daily for 3 menstrual cycles. On the 2 ndday of menstruation of the 1 stand 2 ndIVF-ET cycle,the ovarian reserve function was detected,including measurement of serum follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH),luteinizing hormone(LH),and estradiol(E2)contents by using radioimmunoassay,and serum anti-mullerian hormone(AMH)level by using ELISA,and the antral follicles count(AFC)of the ovaries by using a color Doppler ultrasonic diagnosis apparatus. At the end of ovulation induction,the assisted pregnancy indexes and outcomes were detected,including administration of dosage and days of gonadotropin(Gn),the diameter of dominant oocyte,level of E2 on the trigger day,the numbers of ultrasound-guided-retrieved oocyte and the cultivated highquality embryo(grade 1 and 2).Results After the treatment,the contents of serum FSH,LH and E2 in the medication,acupuncture and combined treatment groups were significantly reduced(P<0. 05),and the content of serum AMH and ovary AFC in the medication,acupuncture and combined treatment groups were obviously increased(P<0. 05)in comparison with their own pre-treatment(P<0. 05). Compared with the control group,the levels of FSH,LH and E2 contents were notably decreased,and the AMH content and AFC significantly increased in the medication,acupuncture and combined treatment groups(P<0. 05). Comparison among the three treatment groups showed that the levels of FSH,LH and E2 were notably lower in the combined treatment group than in the acupuncture group(P<0. 05),and the AFC was markedly more in the combined treatment group than in the acupuncture group(P<0. 05),and LH content was also significantly lower in the combined treatment group than in the medication group(P<0. 05). Regarding the pregnancy-assistant indexes and outcomes,the dosage of Gn in the combined treatment group and the number of Gn administration days in the acupuncture and combined treatment groups were significantly fewer(P<0. 05),serum E2 levels on the trigger day in the medication,acupuncture and combined treatment groups,and the high-quality embryo number in the combined treatment group were considerably higher in comparison with their own levels of the 1 stIVF-ET cycle in each group(P<0. 05). Comparison among the three groups showed that the dosage and number of administration days of Gn in the combined treatment group were fewer than those in the medication group(P<0. 05),and the dosage of Gn in the combined treatment group were significantly lower than that in the acupuncture group(P<0. 05),E2 content of the combined treatment group was markedly higher than that of the medication and acupuncture groups(P<0. 05). The highquality embryo number in the combined treatment group was obviously larger than that of the medication group(P<0. 05). No significant differences were found between the 2 ndand 1 stIVF-ET cycles in the number of the obtained oocyte,between the acupuncture and medication groups in the E2 content at the trigger day,and the numbers of Gn administration days and the high-quality embryo(P>0. 05).Conclusion Acupuncture combined with medication improves the level of endocrinal hormones and ovarian reservation function in POR women undergoing IVF-ET,benefiting the ovary environment of pregnancy.

摘要:Objective To observe the clinical therapeutic effect of"Tiaoshen Zhitong"(mental regulating and pain relieving)needling and its influence on serological indicators in the treatment of post-stroke shoulder pain,so as to provide new therapeutic thoughts and approach for post-stroke shoulder pain.Methods A total of 80 inpatients with post-stroke shoulder pain were randomly divided into a control group(routine needling,39 cases)and an observation group("Tiaoshen Zhitong"needling,41 cases)according to the random number table. Patients of the two groups accepted basic medication treatment including anticoagulants,hypotensive drugs,hypoglycermic drugs,lipid-lowering drugs,etc. In addition,patients of the control group were also treated by routine acupuncture stimulation(uniform reinforcing-reducing stimulation)of Jianyu(LI15),Jianqian(EX-UE12),Jianhou(Extra),Jianliao(TE14),Waiguan(TE5)and Hegu(LI4)on the affected side,and those of the observation group also treated by"Tiaoshen Zhitong"needling of Ear-Shenmen(MA-TF1),bilateral Neiguan(PC6,lifting-thrusting-reducing method),Shuigou(GV26,lifting-thrustingreducing method),and Jianyu(LI15),Jianliao(TE14),Jianzhen(SI9)and Yanglingquan(GB34,the latter 4 points were stimulated with uniform reinforcing-reducing method)on the affected side. The treatment was given once every day,6 days a week for 4 weeks. The pain severity was assessed by using visual analogue scale(VAS),the upper limb function evaluated by using Fugl-Meyer assessment(FMA)scale,the shoulder-joint function evaluated by using Constant-Murley score(CMS)questionnaire,and the daily living ability assessed by using Barthel index(BI)scale. The enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)was used to determine the contents of serum beta-endorphin(β-EP),enkephalin(ENK)and dynorphin(Dyn). The clinical therapeutic effect was evaluated by using Nimodipine scale method.Results Of the 39 and 41 cases in the control and observation groups,7(17. 95%)and 12(29. 27%)were basically cured,12(30. 77%)and 13(31. 71%)experienced marked improvement,8(20. 51%)and 11(26. 83%)were effective,12(30. 77%)and 5(12. 19%)failed,with the total effective rate being 69. 23% and 87. 80%,respectively. The effective rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0. 05). After the treatment,the VAS score was obviously reduced(P<0. 01),and the scores of FMA scale,CMS questionnaire and BI scale,and contents of serum β-EP,ENK and Dyn were all increased obviously in the two groups compared with their own pre-treatment(P<0. 01). The therapeutic effect of"Tiaoshen Zhitong"needling was significantly superior to that of the routine needling in lowering VAS,and in raising scores of FMA scale,CMS questionnaire and BI scale and in up-regulating serum β-EP,ENK and Dyn levels(P<0. 01).Conclusion "Tiaoshen Zhitong"needling is effective in reducing post-stroke shoulder pain and improving the motor function of the upper limb and shoulder-joint as well as the quality of daily life in stroke patients with shoulder pain. Its analgesic effect is probably related to the increase of the levels of serum β-EP,ENK and Dyn.

摘要:Objective To observe the clinical therapeutic effect of Fuyang-pot warming combined with electroacupuncture(EA)in the treatment of scapulohumeral periarthritis(SPA).Methods A total of 90 cases of SPA patients were randomized into EA,Fuyang-pot warming and EA plus Fuyang-pot warming(combination)groups(n=30 per group). Fuyang-pot warming including pressing,mild moxibustion,scraping-pushing,cupping,tapping,etc. was applied to Fengchi(GB20),Dazhui(GV14),Jianjing(GB21),Jianyu(LI15),Zhongfu(LU1),Ashi-point,etc.,and EA(2 Hz/100 Hz,1—1. 5 mA)was appled to GB20,GV14,GB21,LI15,Binao(LI14),Tiaokou(ST38),Chengshan(BL57),Ashi-point,etc. The treatment was performed for 30 min every time,once every other day for 2 weeks. The visual analogue scale(VAS,0—10 points)was used to assess the pain severity. The Constant-Murley shoulder assessment scale(100 points in total,including 15 points in pain severity and 20 points in daily living activities,40 points in joint motion range,and 25 points in myodynamia)was used to assess the functional state of the shoulder. The rating scale of the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons(ASES,4 grades)was used to evaluate the ability of daily living activities.Results Following the treatment,intra-group comparison showed that the VAS score was significantly reduced in the three groups in comparison with their own pre-treatment(P<0. 01). The total scores of Constant-Murley scale,and scores of activities of daily living and active motion range,myodynamia,and ASES shoulder-joint function were all considerably increased in the three groups in comparison with their own pre-treatment(all P<0. 01). The therapeutic effect of EA plus Fuyang-pot warming was significantly superior to that of simple EA and simple Fuyang-pot warming in reducing VAS score and increasing total score of Constant-Murley scale and scores of activities of daily living,active motion range,myodynamia as well as ASES shoulder joint function(P<0. 01). Of the 30,29 and 30 cases in the combination,EA and Fuyang-pot warming groups,9,2 and 4 were basically cured,14,8 and 12 experienced marked improvement,4,12 and 9 were improved,and 3,7 and 5 failed in the treatment,with the cured plus effective rates being 76. 67%,34. 48% and 53. 33%,respectively. The cure plus effective rate was apparently higher in the combined treatment group than in the simple EA and simple Fuyang-pot warming groups(P<0. 01),but had no significant difference between the simple EA and simple Fuyang-pot warming groups(P>0. 05).Conclusion Fuyang-pot warming combined with EA is effective in relieving pain,and enhancing the daily life quality in scapulohumeral periarthritis patients.

摘要:According to indications of Sanguan(cun,guan and chi,three places at the wrist where the pulse is usually taken)described in book Mai Jing(Pulse Classic),the selection of acupoints is based on the location of problems and pulse conditions. WANG Shu-he(201—280,a well-known physician of the Wei and Jin dynasties)chose the operation method and stimulating intensity according to the nature of clinical disorders,that is,performing acupuncture or moxibusion in accordance with pulse conditions,or performing reinforcing or reducing needling manipulations based on pulse conditions. Clinical indications of Sanguan described in Mai Jing originate from Suwen:Sanbu Jiuhou Lun(Plain Questions:Discussion on Three Portions and Nine Pulse-takings) and are also influenced by Shanghan Lun(Treatise on Cold Damage Diseases)and Jingui Yao Lue(Synopsis of Prescriptions of the Golden Chamber). It inherits ZHANG Zhong-jing's clinical thinking of"pulse-syndrome-treatment"and supplements the content of acupuncture and moxibustion treatment,and also influenced the contents of indications of acupoints in book Zhenjiu Jiayi Jing(A-B Classic of Acupuncture and Moxibustion)and Qian Jin Yao Fang(Essential Prescriptions Worth a Thousand Gold). For this reason,it is necessary to unscramble the Mai Jing from clinical perspective of acupuncture and moxibustion,and to explore the thinking and practice mode of clinical diagnosis and treatment of clinical conditions by acupuncture and moxibustion.

摘要:The segmental neuronal connection plays an important role in acupoint-target organ specific correlation. The acupoint-target organ correlation includes acupoint-visceral correlation and acupoint-somatic correlation. The acupoint-viscera correlation involves both the primary central(spinal cord)mechanism and the peripheral(dorsal root ganglion,DRG)mechanism implemented by segmental nerve reflex via the spinal cord and axonal reflex via DRG respectively,while the acupoint-somatic correlation mainly involves the axonal reflex.
