      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of bone-edge electroacupuncture(EA) intervention on mechanical pain threshold(PT) and expression of G protein-coupled receptor kinase(GRK5), β-arrestin 2, total and phosphorylated PKC alpha(p-PKCα) proteins in the locus coeruleus(LC) of rats with bone cancer pain induced morphine tolerance, so as to reveal its partial central mechanisms underlying pain relief. Methods Forty SD rats were randomly divided into 5 groups, namely sham bone cancer, bone cancer pain, morphine tolerance, bone-edge EA, and sham EA(n= 8 rats in each group). The bone cancer with morphine tolerance model was established by intramedullary injection of MRMT-1 cells into the tibial cavity, and then intraperitoneal injection of morphine hydrochloride injection. After successful establishment of morphine tolerance model, the bone-edge EA(2 Hz/100 Hz,0.5-1.5 mA) was applied to bilateral "Zusanli"(ST36) and "Kunlun"(BL60) for 30 min, once a day for 7 days, after inserting the needle-tip to the tibial bone surface. The ipsilateral mechanical paw withdrawal thresholds(PWTs) were detected dynamically. The expression levels of GRK5, β-arrestin 2, PKCα and p-PKCα in the LC area were measured by Western blot. Results The PWTs of bone cancer pain rats were decreased on day 10 after inoculation of cancer cells(P<0.01). After i.p. of morphine for 11 days, no analgesic effect and pain tolerance appeared(P>0.05). The PWTs were significantly increased in the bone-edge EA intervention group(P<0.01), not in the sham EA group(P>0.05). In comparison with the sham bone cancer group, the expression of GRK5 protein in morphine tolerance group was significantly decreased(P<0.01); compared with morphine tolerance group, the expression of GRK5 protein in bone-edge EA group was increased(P<0.01). In comparison with the sham bone cancer group, the expression of β-arrestin 2 and p-PKCα in bone cancer group significantly increased(P<0.01). After the intervention, the increased β-arrestin 2 and p-PKCα expressions were reversed in the bone-edge EA group(P<0.01); compared with morphine tolerance group and sham EA group, the expression of PKCα protein was decreased(P<0.01). Conclusion Bone-edge EA can effectively relieve morphine tolerance in bone cancer pain rats, which may be related to its functions in up-regulating GRK5 protein and down-regulating β-arrestin 2, PKCα and p-PKCα proteins in LC.

      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of penetrative needling from "Baihui"(GV20) to "Qubin"(GB7) on neural stem cell proliferation and sonic hedgehog(Shh) signaling in subventricular zone(SVZ) in intracerebral hemorrhage(ICH) rats so as to explore its mechanisms underlying improvement of ischemic injury of brain.Methods Male SD rats were randomly divided into blank control, model, acupuncture and agonist(Purmorphamine, an activator of Shh signaling pathway) groups(n=18 in each group, 6 for H.E. stain, 6 for examining neuronal cell proliferation, and 6 for immunohistochemistry). The ICH model was established by injecting autogenous blood(50 μL) into the right caudate nucleus. The neurological defect was scored with refe-rence to Bederson's method. Penetrative needling from GV20 to GB7 was performed by manipulating the needle for 6 min(repeated 3 times in 30 min), once daily for 7 days. Intraperitoneal injection of Purmorphamine(1 mg/mL, 1 mg/kg) was performed, once daily for 7 days. Histopathological changes of the hemorrhagic penumbra region were observed under microscope after H.E. stain, the newborn neural stem cell proliferation(BrdU+/Nestin+/Nestin+ double labeled cells) in the SVZ was observed by immunofluorescence after intraperitoneal injection of BrdU(50 mg/kg), and the expression of Shh and glioma-associated hemolog-1(Gli1) detected by immunohistochemistry.Results After modeling, the neurological score and expression levels of Shh and Gil1 proteins were significantly increased in the model group relevant to the blank control group(P<0.001). Following the interventions, the neurological score was evidently decreased(P<0.05), while the number of BrdU+ double labeled cells) in the SVZ was observed by immunofluorescence after intraperitoneal injection of BrdU(50 mg/kg), and the expression of Shh and glioma-associated hemolog-1(Gli1) detected by immunohistochemistry.Results After modeling, the neurological score and expression levels of Shh and Gil1 proteins were significantly increased in the model group relevant to the blank control group(P<0.001). Following the interventions, the neurological score was evidently decreased(P<0.05), while the number of BrdU+/Nestin+/Nestin+ double labeled cells and the expression levels of Shh and Gil1 proteins were significantly increased in both acupuncture and agonist groups in comparison with the model group(P<0.001). No significant differences were found between the acupuncture and agonist groups in down-regulating the neurological score and in up-regulating the number of BrdU+ double labeled cells and the expression levels of Shh and Gil1 proteins were significantly increased in both acupuncture and agonist groups in comparison with the model group(P<0.001). No significant differences were found between the acupuncture and agonist groups in down-regulating the neurological score and in up-regulating the number of BrdU+/Nestin+/Nestin+ double labeled cells and the expression of Shh and Gil1 proteins(P>0.05). Outcomes of H.E. stain showed obvious edema, disordered arrangement of cells, infiltration of inflammatory cells and red blood cells with glial cell hyperplasia around the hematoma area in the model group, which was relatively milder in both acupuncture and agonist groups such as in basic disappearance of edema and inflammatory reaction. Conclusion Penetrative needling from GV20 to GB7 can obviously improve neurological function in ICH rats, which is related to its effects in activating Shh/Gil1 signaling and in further promoting neural stem cell proliferation in the SVZ region.

      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of electroacupuncture(EA) preconditioning on the expression of liver protein kinase 1(LKB1), adenosine 5'-monophosphate(AMP)-activated protein kinase(AMPK) and 6-phosphofructo-2-kinase(PFK2) in cardiomyocytes of rats with acute myocardial ischemia(AMI), so as to explore its mechanisms underlying cardioprotective effect. Methods Thirty male Wistar rats were randomly divided into sham-operation, model and EA pretreatment groups(n=10 rats per group). The AMI model was established by ligation of the left anterior descending branch of coronary artery. Before modeling, EA preconditioning(2 Hz/15 Hz, 1 mA) was applied to bilateral "Neiguan"(PC6) for 30 min, once daily for 14 days. Histopathological changes of myocardium was observed by microscope after H.E. staining. The level of lactate dehydrogenase(LDH) in serum was detected by ELISA. The expression of autophagy-associated proteins and mRNAs as LKB1, AMPKa1, AMPKa2 and PFK2 were detected by Western blot and real-time PCR, respectively. Results Compared with the sham-operation group, serum LDH content, and expression levels of myocardial AMPKa2 and PFK2 proteins and mRNAs were significantly up-regulated(P<0.01), and those of LKB1 and AMPKa1 proteins and mRNAs were increased in the model group(P<0.05). Following the intervention, serum LDH were apparently down-regulated(P<0.01), and expression levels of myocardial LKB1, AMPKa1 and PFK2 proteins and mRNAs were apparently up-regulated(P<0.01), but that of AMPKa2 protein and mRNA was remarkably down-regulated in the EA group(P<0.01). H.E. staining showed cell swelling, disordered arrangement of myocardial fibers with obvious rupture, interstitial bleeding and inflammatory infiltration, which was relatively milder in the EA preconditioning group. Conclusion EA pretreatment can trigger LKB1/AMPK/PFK2 signaling pathway in AMI rats, which may contribute to its cardioprotective effect against ischemic myocardial injury by activating autophagy of cardiomyocytes.

      摘要:Objective To investigate the effect of warm acupuncture on chondrocyte cytoskeleton protein Rho associa-ted protein kinase(ROCK)/monopherine domain kinase 1(LIMK1)/Cofilin signaling of synovial tissue of the knee-joint in knee osteoarthritis(KOA) rats, so as to explore its mechanisms underlying improvement of KOA. Methods One hundred-twenty SD rats(half male and half female) were randomly divided into 5 groups: normal control, model, acupuncture, moxibustion and warm acupuncture, with 24 rats in each group. The KOA model was established by injection of 4% Papain(0.25 mL/kg) into the right knee cavity on day 1, 3 and 7. Rats in the acupuncture, moxibustion and warm acupuncture groups were treated with manual acupuncture, moxibustion and warm acupuncture stimulation of "Neixiyan"(EX-LE4), "Waixiyan"(EX-LE5) and "Zusanli"(ST36), respectively for 20 min, once a day for 21 days. The volume of the right knee-joint was measured by using drainage method and its width measured using a vernier caliper. The histopathological changes of the right knee cartilage were observed after H.E. stain, and scored(0 to 14 points) with reference to Markin's methods. The expression levels of ROCK, Cofilin, phospho-Cofilin, LIMK1 and phospho-LIMK1 proteins of the right knee synovial tissue were detected by Western blot. Results After modeling, the width and the volume since day 6 of the right knee-joint and Markin score of the cartilage, as well as the expression levels of ROCK, phospho-Cofilin, and phospho-LIMK1 proteins were significantly increased in the model group in contrast to the normal control group(P<0.05,P<0.01). Following the interventions, the width and the volume since day 12 of the right knee-joint and Markin score of the cartilage, as well as the expression levels of ROCK, phospho-Cofilin, and phospho-LIMK1 proteins were reversed in the three treatment groups(P<0.05). The effect of warm acupuncture was significantly superior to that of both simple acupuncture and simple moxibustion in decreasing the width and the volume since day 15 of the right knee-joint and Markin score of the cartilage, as well as in down-regulating the expression levels of ROCK, phospho-Cofilin and phospho-LIMK1 proteins(P<0.05). No significant differences were found between the acupuncture and moxibustion groups in deceasing all the aforementioned indexes(P>0.05).Conclusion Acupuncture, moxibustion and warm acupuncture can reduce arthritic injury in KOA rats, which is closely associated with their effects in down-regulating the expression of chondrocyte cytoskeletal proteins ROCK, phospho-Cofilin and phospho-LIMK1. The efficacy of warm acupuncture is evidently superior to that of simple acupuncture and simple moxibustion.

      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of acupuncture on serum IgE level, the degranulation of mast cells, the release of histamine and serotonin, and the expressions of phosphorylated tyrosine-protein kinase Lyn and Syk(p-Lyn, p-Syk) in skin tissue in rats with urticaria, as well as analyze the mechanism of acupuncture in the prevention and the treatment of urticaria. Methods SD male rats were randomly divided into normal control, model control, medication and acupuncture groups(n=10 in each group). The anti-ovalbumin serum was used to establish urticaria model. Rats of the medication group received gastric lavage of Loratadine(0.1 mg/100 g). In the acupuncture group, bilateral "Xuehai"(SP10) and "Quchi"(LI11) were punctured perpendicularly, about 2 to 4 mm in depth, and the needles were retained for 30 min. The treatment was given consecutively for 14 days in the two treatment groups. H.E. staining was adopted to observe the morphological changes of skin tissue, ELISA to determine the total IgE level in serum, the toluidine blue staining to observe the degranulation of mast cells in local skin tissue and the immunohistochemistry to determine the expressions of histamine and serotonin as well as the the expressions of p-Lyn and p-Syk. Results Compared with the normal control group, the epidermis of the model control group was significantly thickened, the dermis was swollen, the inflammatory infiltration of small vessels was serious and the mast cells were swollen and deformed, with blurred edge and exfoliated granules. Additionally, in the model control group, the serum IgE level was significantly higher(P<0.05), the expressions of histamine and serotonin, as well as p-Lyn and p-Syk proteins in local skin tissue were significantly increased(P<0.05). Compared with the model control group, in the acupuncture group and the medication group, the epidermis was slightly thickened, the dermis got slightly edema, the inflammatory cells were presented occasionally and the degranulation of mast cells were reduced. Besides, the serum IgE level was significantly decreased(P<0.05), the expressions of histamine and serotonin, as well as the p-Lyn and p-Syk were significantly reduced(P<0.05). There was no significant difference in each index between the acupuncture group and the medication group(P>0.05). Conclusion Acupuncture at LI11 and SP10 is applicable in the treatment of urticaria. This therapy inhibits the type Ⅰ hypersensitivity and the mast cell degranulation, which may be related to the regulation of p-Lyn and p-Syk protein expressions in the locus coeruleus skin tissue.

      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of moxibustion on respiratory function and contents of histamine and neuropeptides in skin tissue of "Feishu"(BL13) in asthmatic rats, so as to explore its mechanisms underlying improvement of asthma.Methods Thirty-six SD rats were randomly divided into normal control, model and moxibustion groups, with 12 rats in each group. The asthma model was established by subcutaneous injection(at the back and groin, 0.5 mL) and i.p. injection(1 mL)of mixture solution of ovalbumin(OVA), Aluminium Hydroxide gel and 0.9% sodium chloride solution, and repeated nasal drip of 1% OVA. Moxibustion was applied to bilateral BL13 for 15 min, once daily for 14 days. The inspiratory and expiratory resistance, and pulmonary ventilation compliance were detected by using a small animal pulmonary function tester under anesthesia. The contents of histamine, vasoactive intestinal peptide(VIP), substance P(SP) and calcitonin gene-related peptide(CGRP) in the local skin tissue of the left BL13 were assayed by using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA). Results After modeling, the inspiratory and expiratory resistance were significantly increased(P<0.01), and the lung ventilation compliance was significantly decreased in the model group relevant to the normal control group(P<0.01). Outcomes of ELISA showed that the content of VIP was significantly lower(P<0.01), and those of histamine, SP and CGRP in the skin of left BL13 were significantly increased in the model group relevant to the normal control group(P<0.01). Following the intervention, the inspiratory and expiratory resis-tance, cutaneous histamine, SP and CGRP contents were significantly decreased(P<0.01), while the lung ventilation compliance and cutaneous VIP level were significantly increased in the moxibustion group in contrast to the model group(P<0.01, P<0.05). Conclusion Moxibustion of BL13 can improve pulmonary function in asthma rats, which may be related to changes of levels of histamine and neuropeptides as VIP, SP and CGRP in the local skin tissues of BL13.

      摘要:Objective To investigate the effect of Tongli Shuji acupuncture on the behavioristics, the percentage of cerebral infarct volume, and the expression of Jagged2 and Notch2 proteins in the hippocampus of the ischemic hemisphere in rats with permanent ischemia of the right middle cerebral artery, as well as the mechanism of Tongli Shuji acupuncture in improving ischemic cerebrovascular disease. Methods Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into sham-operation group, model control group, medication group, routine acupuncture group, and Tongli Shuji group, with 10 rats in each group. The suture method was used to establish a model of permanent ischemia of the right middle cerebral artery. The rats in the medication group were given Citicoline(0.4 mg/kg) by gavage, those in the routine acupuncture group were given acupuncture at"Baihui"(GV20) and"Dazhui"(GV14) 15 minutes per day, and those in the Tongli Shuji group were given acupuncture at "Zhengying "(GB17), "Tianjing"(SJ10), and"Huantiao"(GB30) at the left side. The neurological deficit score was determined on days 1, 7, 14, 21 and 28 after surgery, the percentage of cerebral infarct volume was measured after treatment, and Western blot was used to measure the protein expression of Jagged2 and Notch2 in the right hippocampal tissue. Results Compared with the sham-operation group, the model control group had significant increases in the neurological deficit score on day 1 after surgery(P<0.001). Compared with the model control, medication and routine acupuncture groups, the Tongli Shuji group had significant reductions in the neurological deficit score on day 21 after surgery(P<0.01). Compared with the sham-operation group, the model control group had a significant increase in the percentage of cerebral infarct volume(P<0.05).The Tongli Shuji group had a significant reduction in the percentage of cerebral infarct volume compared with the medication groups(P<0.05). Compared with the model control group, the routine acupuncture group had a significant increase in the expression of hippocapmal Jagged2(P<0.01).Compared with the model control, medication and routine acupuncture groups, the Tongli Shuji group had significant increases in the expression of hippocampal Jagged2 and Notch2(P<0.01). Conclusion Acupuncture can improve the behavioral manifestations of neurological deficit in rats with permanent ischemia of the right middle cerebral artery. Tongli Shuji acupuncture can significantly up-regulate the protein expression of Jagged2 and Notch2 in the hippocampal tissue of the ischemic region, possibly by activating the Notch signaling pathway to exert a neuroprotective effect.

      摘要:Objective To observe the distribution characters of Evans Blue(EB) exudation spots in the abdominal area in acute intestinal mucosal injury(AIMI) rats by using latitude and longitude grid counting and multivariate statistical analysis and to explore the feasibility of these methods. Methods Twenty-four SD rats were randomly divided into blank control, 7.5%, 10%, and 12.5% mustard oil groups(n=6 rats in each group). The AIMI model was established by mustard oil enema, followed by injection of EB(0.1 mL/100 g) into the tail vein. At 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 h after EB injection, the rats under anesthesia were fixed in supine position for observing and photographing the abdominal subcutaneous EB exudation spots. The H.E. staining was used to observe histopathological changes of colonic mucosa. The longitude and latitude grids of the abdominal region were constructed(by taking the midpoint of the superior sternum as the origin) to determine the position of the blue spots. That the coordinate grids of the two regions can be connected geometrically is termed as "characteristic region". The data were processed by using multivariate statistical analysis. Results ① H.E. staining showed edema and inflammatory cell infiltration after colonic enema of different concentrations of mustard oil. ② Clustering analysis indicated that the distribution of exudation points in the "characteristic grid" had no temporal variation trend, and was not related with the concentration of mustard oil(P>0.05). ③ Factor analysis and contour analysis about the exudation spots of EB at 7.5% concentration showed that the "characteristic region Ⅱ" of different factors presented a tendency of time-dependent exudation, i.e. reduction of exudation degree along with time(P<0.05), and it is located near "Tianshu" acupoint. ④At 5 h after injection of EB, the 8 "characteristic regions" presented an EB-concentration-dependent tendency(reduction in exudation degree along with the increase of EB-concentration), among which the exudation degree of region C(near "Tianshu" acupoint) of the abdomen was higher(P<0.05). Conclusion The multivariate statistical analysis method can be used to identify the abdominal "characteristic regions" of exudation spots of EB in rats with AIMI, and the characteristic region has acupoint sensitization characteristics related to the time and severity of mucosal injury.

      摘要:Objective To compare the therapeutic effect of electroacupuncture(EA) of single-acupoint Zusanli(ST36) and multi-acupoints Zusanli(ST36), Shangjuxu(ST37) and Neiguan(PC6) in promoting the recovery of gastrointestinal movement in laparoscopic cholecystectomy(LC) patients undergoing general anesthesia. Methods A total of 70 LC patients(American Society of Anesthesiologists [ASA] grade I and II) were recruited and randomly divided into control(n=23), single ST36(n=23) and ST36+ST37+PC6(n=24) groups. The patients in the control group only received routine basic treatments(postoperative fasting and water deprivation, intravenous drip of biotics, water-electrolyte and acid-base balancing, oxygen uptake, etc). EA(10 Hz, 5 mA, 30 min every time) was applied to the abovementioned single-acupoint or multi-acupoints groups before, and 4, 22, 34 and 46 h after the operation. The time-points of postoperative borborygmus recovery, first anal exhaust and defecation, post-operative abdominal distension(mild, moderate and severe), nausea and vomiting(grade Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅲ and Ⅳ) at 6, 24 and 48 h after surgery were recorded and analyzed. Results Compared to the control group, the time of borborygmus recovery, first anal exhaust and defecation were markedly earlier in both single ST36 and ST36+ST37+PC6 groups(P<0.01, P<0.05, P<0.001). The number of patients who had mild plus moderate abdominal distention, and nausea(grade Ⅱ+Ⅲ) at 24 h after ope-ration was significantly lower in both single ST36 and ST36+ST37+PC6 groups than in the control group(P<0.05). No significant differences were found between the two EA groups in the time of borborygmus recovery, first anal exhaust and defecation, and in the number of patients with mild plus moderate abdominal distention and those with nausea(P>0.05). Conclusion EA of both single ST36 and ST36+ST37+PC6 can promote gastrointestinal function recovery in LC patients, without remarkable difference between them.

      摘要:Objective To observe the intervention effect of acupuncture at the anterior oblique parietotemporal line on gray matter remodeling in patients with hemiplegia of cerebral infarction based on voxel-based morphology(VBM), and to reveal the advantages and central effect sites of scalp acupuncture for hemiplegia of cerebral infarction. Methods A total of 18 patients with hemiplegia of cerebral infarction in the right basal ganglia and 18 healthy subjects were enrolled and T1 structural scan was performed. The patients were randomly divided into scalp acupuncture group and non-scalp acupuncture group, with 9 patients in each group. SPSS20.0 was used to analyze the degree of neurological deficit(NIHSS) before and after treatment, and SPM8 software package was used to compare the change in gray matter after treatment between the two groups, the difference in gray matter between patients and healthy subjects. Results After treatment, the scalp acupuncture group had a significant reduction in NIHSS(P<0.05), while the non-scalp acupuncture group had no significant change in NIHSS(P>0.05); the scalp acupuncture group had a significantly lower NIHSS than the non-scalp acupuncture group after treatment(P<0.05). Compared with the healthy subjects, the patients with cerebral infarction had a voxel increase of gray matter in the bilateral cerebellum; after 2 weeks of treatment, the scalp acupuncture group had a voxel increase of gray matter in the motor-related cortex(such as the cerebellum, the anterior cingulate, the basal nucleus, and the medial frontal gyrus) and some parts of the sensory cortex, while the non-scalp acupuncture group had a slight voxel increase of gray matter in few brain regions which were not associated with motor. After treatment, the scalp acupuncture group had a voxel increase in the brain regions of the basal ganglia, mainly the lenticular nucleus and the claustrum. Compared with the non-scalp acupuncture group after treatment, the scalp acupuncture group had a greater gray matter increase in the brain regions mainly in the bilateral cerebellar cortex. Conclusion Acupuncture at the anterior oblique parietotemporal line can promote neurological function recovery in patients with hemiplegia, possibly by promoting gray matter remodeling in the motor centers of the extrapyramidal system(mainly the bilateral cerebellum and the contralateral basal ganglia) and some parts of the sensory cortex and inducing functional compensation in corresponding brain regions.

    • Clinical effect of “head-nine-needle” therapy on tension headache

      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of the "head-nine-needle" therapy on tension headache. Methods A total of 150 patients with tension headache were divided into a head-nine-needle therapy group, a western medicine control group and an acupuncture control group according to the random number table, 50 cases in each one. In the head-nine-needle therapy group, the head-nine-needle therapy was adopted. In the western medicine control group, epiperisone hydrochloride tablets were prescribed for oral administration, 50 mg, three times a day as well as fluoguili hydrochloride capsules, 5 mg, once a day, taking orally before sleep. In the acupuncture control group, the routine acupuncture technique was used at Baihui(GV20), Taiyang(EX-HN5), Fengchi(GB20) and Ashi(extra), etc. The clinical effect was observed in each group. The scores of visual analogy scale(VAS) for headache severity and the scores of headache duration were assessed before and after treatment in the patients of each group. Results In comparison of the total effective rate among the groups, there was no significant difference between the head-nine-needle therapy group(48/50,96.0%) and the acupuncture control group(47/50,94.0%). The total effective rate of either of the two groups was higher than that of the western medicine control group(40/50,80.0%,P<0.05). The VAS score and the score of headache duration were reduced obviously as compared with those before treatment in each group(P<0.05), and the score was not different significantly between the head-nine-needle therapy group and the acupuncture control group(P>0.05). After 3 weeks and 4 weeks of treatment, the scores in the two acupuncture groups were all better than those in the western medicine control group(P<0.05). Conclusion The "head-nine-needle" therapy achieves the obviously advantages in the alleviation of headache degree as compared with the simple western medicine and its effect is similar to the common acupuncture therapy in the patients with tension headache.

      摘要:Objective To observe the effect contralateral needling of in improving pain, edema and limb dysfunction in stroke patients with shoulder-hand syndrome. Methods A total of 62 patients with post-stroke shoulder-hand syndrome were divided into a control group and an observation group, 31 cases in each one. The routine treatment with internal medicine and rehabilitation manipulation was adopted in the two groups. Additionally, the routine acupuncture treatment was used in the control group and the contralateral needling techniques was applied in the observation group. The needles were retained for 30 min. The treatment was given once a day for 5 days a week and consecutively for 4 weeks. Before and after treatment, the score of the modified Fugl-Meyer assessment scale(FMA scale), the score of the visual analogue scale(VAS), the score of the hand edema rating and the score of the modified Barthel index(ADL score) were evaluated. Results The total effective rate was 90.32%(28/31) in the observation group and was 67.74%(21/31) in the control group. The effective rate in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05). VAS score, the score of the hand edema rating, FMA score and ADL score were obviously improved as compared with those before treatment in each group and the scores in the observation group were better than those of the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion The contralateral needling therapy of acupuncture is effective for relieving pain and edema as well as improving the motor function of the affected limb in the patients with post-stroke shoulder-hand syndrome.

      摘要:Objective To investigate the specific regularity of body surface resistance at different acupoints of the meridians associated with the uterus in reflecting menstrual cycle by observing the change in body surface resistance at source points, cleft points, confluent points, and non-specific points of three yin meridians of the foot in different menstrual cycles in normal female college students, to lay a foundation for the in-depth research on the mechanism of acupoints reflecting the function of zang-fu, and to provide a reference for the clinical and scientific research on the biophysical characteristics of menstrual cycle-related acupoints in normal female. Methods A total of 90 normal female college students were recruited. The source points, cleftpoints, confluent points, and non-specific points of three yin meridians of the foot which were located in the adjacent spinal segments of the uterus were selected, and body surface resistance was monitored for 30 consecutive minutes at the same time-points of menstrual phase, follicular phase, ovulation phase, and luteal phase to observe the change in the resistance of each acupoint during the menstrual cycle. Results There was no significant change in the resistance value of unilateral acupoints during the menstrual cycle(P>0.05). In the same period, there was no significant difference in resistance value between unilateral three source points, three cleftpoints, different acupoints of the spleen meridian, and different acupoints of lumbar 4 dermatomere(P>0.05). As for the comparison of resistance of the same acupoint at the left and right sides, Taichong(LR3) at the left side had a higher resistance value than that at the right side in the menstrual phase(P<0.05); Taibai(SP3) at the left side had a higher resistance value than that at the right side in the ovulation phase(P<0.05); Zhongdu(LR6) at the left side had a higher resistance value than that at the right side in the follicular phase, the ovulation phase, and the luteal phase(P<0.05); Taixi(KI3), Diji(SP8), and Sanyinjiao(SP6) at the left side had a higher resistance value than those at the right side in the menstrual phase, the follicular phase, the ovulation phase, and the luteal phase(P<0.05); Shuiquan(KI5) at the left side had a lower resistance value than that at the right side in these four phases(P<0.05). Conclusion The change trend of the resistance of the acupoints at the left and right sides associated with the three yin meridians of the foot can specifically reflect the change in qi and blood in the uterus during the menstrual cycle. The change trend of the source and cleft points of the liver meridian in the menstrual phase is different from that in the other phases, and the change trend of SP3, a source point of the spleen meridian, in the ovulation phase is different from that in the other phases, which suggests the specificity of meridian points in reflecting function. The mechanism by which meridian points reflect the function of zang-fu is associated with the meridian points and the spinal cord segments of zang-fu, and meanwhile, it has a specific relationship with the meridians to which meridian points belong and the attributes of acupoints.

      摘要:Non-invasive transcutaneous auricular vagus nerve stimulation(ta-VNS) is established on the basis of auricular acupuncture and the principle of vagus nerve stimulation(VNS). The results of the comparative study of 4 indications of VNS show that ta-VNS achieves almost the equivalent effect as VNS. Moreover, the ta-VNS is advantageous at safety, economy and portability. Regarding the clinical prevention and treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS), it is still controversial for the effect of acupuncture and moxibustion therapy including auricular acupuncture. Moreover, it is the difficulty for the principle of acupoint selection and the treatment mechanism of this therapy to be in line with modern medicine. As neuroendocrine disease, PCOS and the ovary, its target organ are all associated with the vagus nerve. It is a new idea to introduce the ta-VNS in treatment of PCOS by regulating the reproductive and endocrinal disturbance of PCOS in terms of vagus nerve and improving the acupuncture and moxibustion therapy, such as the auricular acupuncture. In the paper, the potential mechanism of the ta-VNS in treatment of PCOS is presented: 1)the ta-VNS treats PCOS by improving insulin resistance; 2)the ta-VNS relieves PCOS-induced psychological disorders through the treatment of depression; 3)the ta-VNS is applicable in treatment of PCOS complications, such as hypertension and diabetes.

      摘要:This article reviews the clinical studies on acupuncture in the treatment of asthma, chronic bronchitis, and acute exacerbation and stable phase of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in China over the past 10 years, and the results suggest that acupuncture has a good clinical effect. At present, there are still several problems in related clinical studies, including lacking of standard operation procedure for acupuncture, unreasonable design of control group, and low quality of clinical research. Therefore, in the future, top-level design should be standardized and large-sample multicenter clinical studies should be conducted to provide stronger evidence of evidence-based medicine for acupuncture in the treatment of respiratory diseases.
