      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of moxibustion on cardiac function and expression of myocardial tumor suppressor protein p53, mammalian target of rapamycin(mTOR) and phosphorylated(p)-mTOR(excessive autophagy-associated proteins of cardiomyocytes) in rats with chronic heart failure(CHF), so as to explore its mechanisms underlying improvement of CHF. Methods SD rats were divided into blank control(n=11), model(n=8), autophagy activator(n=8), autophagy inhibitor(n=9) and moxibustion(n=9) groups. The CHF model was established by i.p. injection of Doxorubicin Hydrochloride(DOX, 1 mg/mL, 1—4 mg/kg) every other day. Moxibustion was applied to bilateral "Feishu"(BL13) and "Xinshu"(BL15) for 20 min, 5 times a week for 3 weeks. Rats of the autophagy activator group received gavage of Rapamycin(RAPA, 2 mg/kg) and those of the autophagy inhibitor group received i.p. injection of Methyladenine(3-MA, 15 mg/kg) 5 times a week for 3 weeks after successful modeling. The heart weight and body weight were measured to calculate heart mass index(HW/BW=heart weight ÷ body weight). Cardiac output(CO) and heart rate(HR) were measured by using a cardiac function meter. Serum N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide(NT-pro BNP) content was assayed by using ELISA, and the expression of myocardial p53, p-mTOR and mTOR proteins was examined by Western blot. Results(1) Compared with the blank control group, the HR, HW/BW, NT-pro BNP content and p53 expression levels were significantly increased(P<0.01), and the CO and ratio of p-mTOR/mTOR were significantly decreased in the model group(P<0.01).(2) Compared with the model group, the HR, HW/BW and NT-pro BNP content of the autophagy inhibitor and moxibustion groups were significantly decreased(P<0.01, P<0.05), and CO and p-mTOR/mTOR ratio were significantly increased in both autophagy inhibitor and moxibustion groups(P<0.01).(3) Compared with the autophagy activator group, the levels of HR, HW/BW, NT-pro BNP and p53 in the autophagy inhibitor and moxibustion groups were significantly lower(P<0.01), and those of CO and p-mTOR/mTOR levels were significantly higher(P<0.01). Conclusion Moxibustion, similar to the autophagy inhibitor, has a protective action on myocardium in CHF rats, which is possible by preventing over expression of myocardial autophagy-associated proteins during CHF.

      摘要:Objective To investigate the autonomic nervous mechanism of acupuncture therapy in the treatment of ischemic cardiomyopathy by observing the influence of electroacupuncture(EA) at "Neiguan"(PC6) on the superior cervical cardiac nerve activity and cardiac function in chronic myocardial ischemia(CMI) rats. Methods Male SD rats were randomly divided into control, model and EA groups(n=8 in each group). The CMI model was established by ligating the anterior descending branch of the left coronary artery. EA(15 Hz, 1.5 mA) was applied to bilateral PC6 for 20 min, once a day for 28 consecutive days. Cardiac sympathetic nerve electrical activities(CSNEA), electrocardiogram(ECG) of the standard limb lead Ⅱ and ultrasonic cardiogram(UCG) were recorded for observing changes of ST segment height, left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF) and left ventricular fractional shortening(LVFS). Results The CSNEA was significantly increased(P<0.001), and the hight of ECG-STⅡ, LVEF and LVFS were considerably decreased in the model group relevant to the control group(P<0.01, P<0.001), while after the intervention, modeling induced increase of CSNEA and decrease of ECG-STⅡ, LVEF and LVFS were obviously suppressed in the EA group in comparison with the model group(P<0.01, P<0.05, P<0.001). Conclusion EA of PC6 can improve cardiac function and myocardial ischemia in CMI rats, which is possibly related to its effect in decreasing cardiac sympathetic hyperactivity.

      摘要:Objective To compare the therapeutic effect of shallow and deep needling at "Neiguan"(PC6) in the treatment of arrhythmia in rabbits. Methods Male New Zealand rabbits were randomly divided into saline(n=15), model(n=12), shallow needling(n=13) and deep needling(n=12) groups. The arrhythmia model was established by ear intravenous injection of Barium chloride(0.4%, 1 mL/kg). Acupuncture needle was inserted into the superficial fascia(about 3 mm beneath the skin) or deep layer(5 to 8 mm, near the median nerve) of local PC6 tissue(fore limb), manipulated for a while and then retained for 10 min. Histopathological changes of myocardium was observed after H.E. stain, and the immunoactivity of connexin 43(Cx43) detected by immunohistochemistry(IHC). Results Various degrees of arrhythmia and down-regulated expression of myocardial Cx43 were observed in all rabbits after modeling. After EA intervention and compared with the model group, the initial time of arrhythmia and Cx43 expression were obviously increased(P<0.01), and the duration of arrhythmia was significantly shortened in both deep and shallow needling groups(P<0.01). Compared with the shallow needling group, the Cx43 expression was increased in the deep needling group(P<0.01). H.E. staining showed disordered and wavy arrangement of myocardial fibers, with exudation of serous and erythrocytes in the myocardial interstitium in the model group, which was relatively mild in both needling groups. IHC showed disordered distribution of Cx43 in the ventricular myocytes and almost no obvious band-like distribution at the discs in rabbits of the model group, and abundant distribution of Cx43 in the sacral disc in the deep needling group, and strip-shaped, cluster-like, point-like, visible at both end-to-end connections and side-to-side connections in the shallow needling group.Conclusion Both shallow and deep needling can significantly reduce the duration of arrhythmia in arrhythmia rabbits, which may be associated with its effect in up-regulating expression of myocardial Cx43 protein.

      摘要:Objective To investigate the effect of acupuncture stimulation of head acupoints "Jin San Zhen"(JIN's Three Acupuncture Needles Therapy) on behavior reactions, hippocampal neuronal autophagy and expression of autophagy associated proteins(Beclin-1 and light chain 3 Ⅱ/Ⅰ [LC 3 Ⅱ/Ⅰ]) in rats with hypoxic-ischemic brain damage(HIBD) due to fetal intrauterine distress, so as to reveal its underlying mechanisms in improving neonatal HIBD. Methods Pregnant SD rats were used in the present study. The HIBD model was established by delayed caesarean delivery and bilateral uterine arteries clipping for 10 minutes. The HIBD rats were randomly divided into model group and acupuncture groups(n=9 rats in each group). The other 9 rats delivered naturally were used as the normal control group. On day 14 after delivery, the neonatal rats in the acupuncture group received acupuncture stimulation of head acupoints("Nao San Zhen""Nie San Zhen" and "Zhi San Zhen") by twirling each needle leftward and rightward for 10 times, once a day for 14 d. The open field test and Morris water maze test were used to determine the locomotive activity and spatial learning-memory ability, respectively. The ultrastructure and autophagosomes in the hippocampal neurons were observed by transmission electron microscope. The contents and expression levels of Beclin-1 and LC3 Ⅱ/Ⅰ in the hippocampus tissues were detected by flow cytometry and Western blot, separately. Results Compared with the normal control group, the time to go out of the central region of open field test, and the escape latency and duration of first platform-quadrant-crossing of spatial exploration of Morris water maze tests were significantly increased(P<0.01,P<0.05,P<0.001), and the total distance and number of activities in the central region, and the target quadrant resistance time and number of platform-cros-sing remarkably decreased in the model group(P<0.01, P<0.05), suggesting a decline of both locomotor activity and learning-memory ability after modeling. The expression level(%) of Beclin-1 protein and ratio of LC3 Ⅱ/Ⅰ proteins were considerably increased in the model group(P<0.01). Following acupuncture interventions, the locomotor activity and spatial learning-memory ability were obviously increased(P<0.05,P<0.01,P<0.001), and the expression of Beclin-1 protein and ratio of LC3 Ⅱ/Ⅰ were further up-regulated relevant to the model group(P<0.001). Moreover, ultrastructural observation showed serrated change of nuclear membrane and widened perinuclear space, vacuolization in the mitochondria, dilation of endoplasmic reticulum and increase of autophagosomes in the hippocampal neurons in the model group. These situations were relatively milder in the acupuncture group. Conclusion Acupuncture of head acupoints of "JIN San Zhen" may increase locomotor activity and learning-memory abi-lity in rats with HIBD due to fetal intrauterine anoxia, which is closely with its effect in promoting hippocampal neuronal autophagy via up-regulating the expression of Beclin-1 and LC3 Ⅱ/Ⅰ.

      摘要:Objective To investigate the effect of electroacupuncture(EA) combined with Donepezil on learning-memory ability and gene expression of β-amyloid(Aβ) clearance-related factors in the hippocampus in senescence-accelerated mouse prone 8(SAMP8) mice, so as to explore their synthetic effect in improving dementia of Alzheimer's disease(AD).Methods Male SAMP8 mice(30-week-old) were randomly divided into model, medication and EA+medication groups(n=6 mice in each group), and other 6 senescence-resistant 1(SAMR1) mice were used as the control group. Mice of the medication and EA+medication group received gavage of Donepezil(1.3 mg·kg(-1)·d(-1)·d(-1)) once daily for 4 weeks. EA(2 Hz, 1 mA) was applied to "Baihui"(GV20) and "Yintang"(EX-HN3) for 15 min, once daily, 6 days a week for 4 weeks for rats in the EA+medication group. The Morris water maze(MWM) task(including place navigation tests and space exploration trials) was used to assess the mouse's learning-memory ability. Histopathological changes of hippocampus tissue were observed by H.E. staining. The expression levels of matrix metalloprotein 9(MMP-9), low density lipoprotein receptor-related protein-1(LRP-1), P-glycoprotein(Pgp, an important drug transporter responsible for multidrug resistance), Claudin-5(a component of tight junction strands that serves as a physical barrier to prevent solutes and water from passing freely through the paracellular space between epithelial or endothelial cell sheets of blood-brain barrier, BBB) and Aβ mRNAs of the hippocampus tissue were detected by quantitative real-time PCR.Results Compared with the control group, the average escape latency of place navigation tests, and the expression levels of MMP-9 and Aβ mRNAs were significantly increased(P<0.01), and the number of platform quadrant-crossing times of space exploration trials, and the expression levels of LRP-1, Pgp and Claudin-5 mRNAs considerably decreased in the model group(P<0.01). After the intervention, the learning-memory ability was significantly improved in the medication and EA+medication groups(P<0.01,P<0.05), the expression levels of Aβ mRNAs in the medication and EA+medication groups and MMP-9 mRNA in the EA+medication group were obviously down-regulated(P<0.01), and those of LRP-1 and Pgp mRNAs in the medication and EA+medication groups and Claudin-5 mRNA in the EA+medication group were remarkably up-regulated(P<0.05, P<0.01). The therapeutic effect of EA+medication was apparently superior to that of simple medication in shortening the escape latency(P<0.05,P<0.01) and in down-regulating the expression of MMP-9 and Aβ mRNAs(P<0.01), and in increasing the number of platform quadrant-crossing times(P<0.01), and expression levels of LRP-1, Pgp and Claudin-5 mRNAs(P<0.01). H.E. staining showed scatted and loose arrangement of neurons in the hippocampus, with reduction of number of cell layers and unclear nucleoli, which was relatively milder in the medication and EA+medication groups. Conclusion EA can enhance the effect of Donepezil in improving learning-memory ability in AD mice possibly by regulating expression of MMP-9, LRP-1, Pgp and Claudin-5 mRNAs and strengthening the effect of Donepezil in transporting Aβ via BBB.

      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of electroacupuncture(EA) at "Ashi" acupoint and "Kunlun"(BL60) on elastic modulus, histopathological changes and expression of myogenic regulatory factors in gastrocnemius(GM) contusion rats, so as to explore the therapeutic effect of local acupoint selection and acupoint selection along channel. Methods Male SD rats were randomly divided into blank control(n=5), model(n=15), Ashi-point(n=15) and BL60(n=15) groups. The acute GM contusion model was established by striking(free falling) the GM with a homemade hitter. EA(0.5 to 1.0 mA, 2 Hz/10 Hz) was applied to Ashi-point(local focus) and BL60 for 30 min 24 h after muscle injury. The elasticity maximum(Emax) of gastrocnemius muscle was measured by using an ultrasonic device. Histopathological changes were observed after H.E. stain, and the number of Myogenic differentiation(MyoD)-and Myogenin(MyoG)-positive cells was detected by using immunohistochemistry.Results After mdeling, the Emax value of GM was significantly increased from the 3(rd) h to 7(rd) h to 7(th) day in comparison with pre-injury of muscle(P<0.05), and was markedly increased on the 3(th) day in comparison with pre-injury of muscle(P<0.05), and was markedly increased on the 3(rd) day and obviously lower on day 7 in the Ashi-point group than in the model group(P<0.05). The numbers of MyoD-and MyoG-positive cells of GM were significantly increased on day 7 in the model group than in the blank control group(P<0.05), and both further increased in Ashi-point on day 3 and 5, and MyoG-positive cells further increased in BL60 group on day 5 and in Ashi-point group on day 7 relevant to the model group(P<0.05). The therapeutic effect of EA-Ashi-point was apparently superior to that of BL60 in up-regulating Emax on day 3 and in up-regulating the number of MyoD-positive cells on day 3 and 5(P<0.05). H.E. stain showed disordered arrangement of muscle fibers, infiltration of inflammatory cells, increase of intercellular space, and edema on day 3 after modeling(which was milder in the Ashi-point group); and gradual fusion and thickening of new born muscle fibers with obvious connective tissue hyperplasia converged to the lesioned region on day 7 in the model group(convergence of new born muscle cells to the lesion region in both EA groups, and more complete tissues in the Ashi-point group). Conclusion EA of Ashi-point and BL60 can up-regulate the expression of myogenic regulatory factors MyoD and MyoG of GM tissue in GM contusion rats, which may contribute to its function in promoting recovery of muscle elasticity. The role of EA-Ashi-point is superior to that of EA-BL60.

      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of electroacupuncture(EA) of "Hegu"(LI4) and "Zusanli"(ST36)on changes of intestinal sensitivity and colonic motility and expression of colonic 5-hydroxytryptamine 3 A receptor(5-HT_(3 A)R) in irritable bowel syndrome(IBS) rats, so as to reveal its mechanism underlying improvement of IBS. Methods A total of 40 neonatal Wistar rats were randomly and equally divided into normal control, model, LI4 and ST36 groups(n=10). The IBS model was induced by mother-infant separation, acetic acid enema and colorectal distension(CRD). EA(2 Hz/100 Hz, a tolerable strength) was applied to bilateral LI4 and ST36 for 20 min, once every other day for 5 times. The Bristol stool form scale was used to assess the gastrointestinal function, and the latency and number of abdominal muscular contraction waves of abdominal withdrawal reflex(AWR) were used to evaluate the intestinal sensitivity and motility respectively. The immunoactivity of 5-HT_(3 A)R of the colon tissue was detected by immunohistochemistry. Results After modeling, the score of Bristol fecal form scale, number of muscular contraction waves and expression levels of colonic 5-HT_(3 A)R in the myometrium and mucosal layers were significantly increased(P<0.01), and the latency of muscular initial contraction wave was obviously shortened in the model group relevant to the normal control group(P<0.01). After the intervention, the increased Bristol fecal form score, number of muscular contraction waves and expression levels of 5-HT_(3 A)R in the myometrium and mucosal layers as well as the decreased latency of muscular contraction were reversed in both LI4 and ST36 groups(P<0.01, P<0.05). The effect of EA of ST36 was significantly superior to those of EA-LI4 in lowering Bristol fecal scale score and 5-HT_(3 A)R expression in the muscular layer(P<0.01), but obviously inferior to those of EA-LI4 in increasing the latency of of muscular initial contraction wave and down-regulating muscular contraction waves and 5-HT_(3 A)R expression in the mucosal layer(P<0.05, P<0.01). Conclusion Both EA-LI4 and EA-ST36 can significantly improve the symptoms of abdominal pain and diarrhea, but EA-LI4 is better in suppressing intestinal high sensitivity, and EA-ST36 is better in promoting intestinal motility, suggesting a specificity of effect of acupoints of different meridians.

      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of electroacupuncture(EA) on degranulation of intraperitoneal mast cells(MCs) and expression of mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK) signaling related proteins, tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) and interleukin-6(IL-6) in urticaria rats, so as to reveal its mechanisms underlying improvement of urticaria. Methods Thirty-two SD rats were randomly divided into control,model,EA and medication groups(n=8 in each group). The urticaria model was established by using passive cutaneous anaphylaxis(PCA) reaction method. EA(2 Hz/15 Hz, 1 mA) was applied to bilateral "Zusanli"(ST36), "Quchi "(LI11) and "Xuehai"(SP10) for 20 min,once daily for 7 consecutive days before antigen attack. Rats of the medication group were treated by gavage of Loratadine(1 mg·kg(-1)·d(-1)·d(-1))for 7 days. The diameter of cutaneous Evan's blue spots was measured to evaluate the severity of PCA. Intraperitoneal fluid smears were prepared to observe the degranulation state of MCs. The contents of TNF-α and IL-6 in the intraperitoneal fluid were detected by ELISA, and the expression of extracellular signal-regulated kinase(ERK), phosphorylated(p)-ERK, c-Jun N-terminal kinase(JNK), p-JNK, P38 MAPK and p-P38 MAPK of the acquired intraperitoneal MCs was detected by Western blot. Results The diameter of cutaneous Evan's blue spot was significantly increased in the model group than that in the control group(P<0.01), and considerably decreased in both EA and medication groups compared with the model group(P<0.01). After modeling,the percentage of degranulated MCs, contents of TNF-α and IL-6, and expression levels of ERK, p-ERK, JNK, p-JNK, P38 MAPK and p-P38 MAPK were remarkably increased in the mo-del group than those in the control group(P<0.01, P<0.05). After the treatment, the percentage of degranulated MCs, contents of TNF-α and IL-6, and expression levels of p-ERK, JNK, p-JNK and p-P38 MAPK were obviously decreased in both EA and medication groups relevant to the model group(P<0.01, P<0.05), while no significant changes were found in the expression of ERK in both EA and medication groups, and P38 MAPK in the EA group. Compared with the model and EA groups, expression levels of P38 MAPK were down-regulated in the medication group(P<0.05). Conclusion EA can reduce skin allergic reaction in rats with urticaria, which may be related to its effects in inhibiting the degranulation of intraperitoneal MCs, down-regulating the expression of MAPK signaling-related proteins and the level of pro-inflammatory factors TNF-α and IL-6 in intraperitoneal MCs.

      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of moxibustion and acupoint catgut embedding(ACE) at "Tianshu"(ST25) "Dachangshu"(BL25) and "Shangjuxu"(ST37) on changes of body mass, stool property, histopathological conditions and expression levels of interleukin 6(IL-6) in colonic mucosa of ulcerative colitis(UC) rats, so as to reveal its anti-inflammatory mechanisms underlying improvement of UC. Methods SD rats were randomized into normal, model, moxibustion, ACE and moxibustion+ACE groups(n=6 in each group). The UC model was established by enema of trinitro-benzene-sulfonic acid and ethanol. Moxibustion was applied to bilateral ST25, BL25 and ST37 for 10 min, once daily for 14 days, and ACE applied to the same 3 acupoints, once a week for two weeks. After the treatment, the rats' general conditions were observed, and the severity of UC was assessed by using disease activity index(DAI) score. Colonic mucosal pathological changes were observed under microscope after hematoxylin eosin(H.E.) stain, and the expression levels of IL-6 in the colonic mucosa tissue detected by using immunohistochemical stain and Western blot, respectively. Results After modeling, the DAI score, and expression level of colonic IL-6 protein detected by immunohistochemistry and Western blot were obviously increased in the model group relevant to the normal group(P<0.01). Following the intervention, the increase of DAI score and IL-6 expression were reversed in moxibustion, ACE and moxibustion+ACE groups(P<0.01, P<0.05). The therapeutic effects of moxibustion+ACE were considerably superior to those of simple ACE and simple moxibustion in down-regulating the levels of DAI score and IL-6 expression(P<0.01). H.E. staining showed severe defect of the colonic mucosal epithelium with infiltration of a large number of inflammatory cells in the model group, which was milder in moxibustion, ACE and moxibustion+ACE groups. Conclusion Moxibustion combined with ACE is able to improve the inflammatory injury of colonic mucosa in UC rats, which may be related with its effect in suppressing the expression of colonic IL-6; and the efficacy of moxibustion+ACE is apparently superior to that of moxibustion and ACE alone.

      摘要:Objective From the perspective of β-amyloid(Aβ) toxicity and synaptic plasticity, the mechanism of electroacupuncture to improve learning and memory ability in the early pathological stages of Alzheimer's disease was explored. Methods Twelve male amyloid-protein precursor(APP)/γ-secretase(PS1) double transgenic AD mice were randomly and equally divided into electroacupuncture(EA) group and model group, and other 6 male C57 BL/6 mice were used as the normal group. EA(1 Hz/50 Hz, 0.5 mA) was applied to "Baihui"(GV20) and bilateral "Yongquan"(KI1) for 15 min, once every other day for 6 weeks. Immunofluorescence was used to observe the positive expression of Aβ in the left hippocampus. Immunohistochemistry was used to observe the positive expression of postsynaptic density-95(PSD-95) in the left hippocampus. Western blot was used to detect the expression of PSD-95 and synaptophysin(SYN)in the right hippocampus. Results Immunofluorescence results showed that extracellular Aβ was seen in the model group and electroacupuncture group, but no senile plaques were seen. Compared with the normal group, the expression level of Aβ in the hippocampus of the model group increased significantly(P<0.01). Compared with the model group, the expression of Aβ in the hippocampus of the EA group decreased(P<0.05). Immunohistochemical results showed that compared with the normal group, the PSD-95 positive expression in the model group was decreased(P<0.05). Compared with the model group, the expression of PSD-95 in the EA group was increased(P<0.05). Western blot results showed that compared with the normal group, the expression levels of PSD-95 and SYN in the hippocampus of the model group were decreased(P<0.05, P<0.01). Compared with the model group, the expression levels of PSD-95 and SYN in the EA group were increased(P<0.05,P <0.01). Conclusion EA can reduce the expression of Aβ in the hippocampus of APP/PS1 mice and increase the expression of PSD-95 and SYN, which may contribute to its effect in improving the synaptic plasticity.

      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of warming needling therapy on gastrointestinal reaction after hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy(HIPEC) in patients of spleen and stomach deficiency syndrome after colon cancer surgery. Methods A total of 120 cases of HIPEC were randomized into observation group and control group, 60 cases in each. The patients of the two groups all received HIPEC. In the observation group, 1 h before HIPEC, warming needling technique was applied to Zusanli(ST36), Sanyinjiao(SP6) and Yinlingquan(SP9) and the even-needing technique of acupuncture was applied to Neiguan(PC6) for 30 min, and then the intravenous injection with Ondansetron was given 30 min before HIPEC. In the control group, The intravenous injection with Ondansetron was given 30 min before HIPEC. In the two groups, the changes in nausea, vomiting, abdominal distention, diarrhea, total bilirubin(TB), alanine aminotransferase(ALT), alkaline phosphatase(ALP) and KPS score, as well as the average hospitalization length of stay were observed. Results The total effective rates in the treatment of nausea, vomiting, abdominal distention and diarrhea were 91.67%(55/60), 93.33%(56/60), 80.00%(48/60) and 88.33%(53/60) in the observation group and were 78.33%(47/60), 78.33%(47/60), 63.33%(38/60) and 70.00%(42/60) in the control group respectively, and the total effective rate in the treatment of gastrointestinal reaction of HIPEC in the observation group was obviously higher than that in the control group(P<0.05). The KPS score and curative effect in the observation group was obviously higher than those of the control group(P<0.05), and the average hospitalization length of stay in the observation group was obviously reduced as compared with the control group(P<0.05). There were no significant differences in serum TB, ALT and ALP contents between the two groups after treatment(P>0.05). Conclusion The warming needling technique of acupuncture and moxibustion alleviates the gastrointestinal reaction, improves KPS score and reduces the hospitalization length of stay in HIPEC patients after the surgery of colon cancer and differentiated as the spleen and stomach deficiency in traditional Chinese medicine.

    • Clinical effect of long-snake moxibustion on lumbago of cold-dampness type

      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of long-snake moxibustion on pain, functional disorder and body constitution in the patients with lumbago of cold-dampness type. Methods A total of 90 patients with lumbago of cold-dampness type were randomized into long-snake moxibustion, acupuncture and medication groups, 30 cases in each group. In the long-snake moxibustion group, long-snake moxibustion was exerted on the spinal(between Dazhui[GV14] and Yaoshu[GV2]) with the self-prepared moxa powder formula combined with fresh ginger and moxa wool, once a week, for 4 weeks. Regular acupuncture was given to the acupuncture group, 30 min each time, once a day, 8 times as a treatment course, at the interval of 2 days between the courses. The duration of treatment was 1 month. In the medication group, Diclofenac Sodium was prescribed for oral administration, 25 mg each time, three times a day, and Mecobalamine tablets, 0.5 mg each time, 3 times a day. The duration of medication was 1 month. Before and after treatment, the differences were evaluated in the scores of visual analog scale(VAS), the present pain intensity(PPI), Oswestry disability index(ODI) and the scale of yang-deficiency body constitution among the 3 groups. Results After the treatment, VAS and PPI score and ODI were significantly reduced in the patients of the 3 groups as compared with those before treatment(all P<0.05). Compared with the medication group, ODI score was significantly reduced in the long-snake moxibustion group and the acupuncture group(P<0.05). After the treatment, the scores of the scale of yang-deficiency body constitution were significantly reduced in the long-snake moxibustion group and the acupuncture group(P<0.05) as compared with those before the treatment, but not statistically significant in the medication group in comparison before and after the treatment(P>0.05). The score of the scale of yang-deficiency body constitution in the long-snake moxibustion group was significantly lower than that in the acupuncture group and the medication group(P<0.05). Regarding the clinical effect, the effective rate was 93.33%(28/30) in the long-snake moxibustion group and it was 86.67%(26/30) in the acupuncture group and 73.33%(22/30) in the medication group after the treatment. The effective rate in the long-snake moxibustion group was significantly higher than those in the acupuncture group and the medication group(P<0.05). Conclusion The long-snake moxibustion therapy can achieve significant effect on lumbago of cold-dampness type. This therapy can alleviate pain, relieve the functional disorders and improve the conditions of body constitution in the patients. Hence, it is applicable for the clinical promotion.

      摘要:Objective To investigate the effect of electroacupuncture(EA) analgesia at the latent stage of labor on epidural analgesia, labor outcome and neonatal score so as to provide the reference to the clinical labor analgesia. Methods According to the random number table, 104 primipara of vaginal delivery were divided into three groups, named an EA group(37 cases), a sham-EA group(36 cases) and an epidural block group(31 cases). In the EA group, when the cervix opened up by 1 cm, Han's acupoint nerve stimulation apparatus was attached to bilateral Hegu(LI4) and bilateral Sanyinjiao(SP6) to achieve EA analgesia till the active stage(the cervix up 3 cm). In the sham-EA group, the procedure was same as the EA group, but with the sham-stimulation. In the epidural block, EA was not used in intervention. When the cervix opened up 3 cm, the epidural block and the patient-controlled epidural analgesia were all adopted in each group. The score of visual analogue scale(VAS) and the dosage of Sufentanil and Ropivacaine in patient-controlled analgesia pump at the different time points were compared among the groups. Respectively, in 1 h of EA stimulation(T1), 2 h of EA stimulation(T2), at the moment of epidural block(T3) and the complete open of the cervix(T6), the venous blood sample was collected to determine the concentration of beta-endorphin(beta-EP), and the use time of oxytocin, the bleeding amount and the state of newborn were recorded. Results There was no statistical difference in immediate of EA stimulation(T0) among the groups in VAS score(P>0.05). But, in T1 to T6, VAS score in the EA group was reduced obviously as compared with the sham-EA group and the epidural block group separately(P<0.05). There was no statistical difference in the use time of oxytocin among the three groups(P>0.05). In the sham-EA group and the epidural block group, bleeding amount during labor and in 24 h after labor was all higher than that of the EA group(P<0.05). In each group, the concentration of beta-EP in T3 and T6 was increased obviously as compared with that in T1 and T2 respectively(P<0.05). In the EA group, the concentration of beta-EP in T1 to T3 and in T6 was higher than that in sham-EA group and the epidural block group respectively(P<0.05). The dosage of Ropivacaine and Sufentanil in the EA group was less than that in either the sham-EA group or the epidural block group(P<0.05). There was no significant difference in amniotic fluid turbidity rate and Apgar score among the three groups(P>0.05). Conclusion Electroacupuncture analgesia at the latent stage of labor effectively relieves labor pain of primipara, increases the concentration of beta-EP, enhances the effect of epidural block analgesia, reduces labor bleeding and has no side effect on newborn. The combination of electroacupuncture analgesia and the epidural anesthesia in the latent stage is applicable in the whole process of labor.

      摘要:Objective To observe the clinical effectiveness of Jingjin(muscle region) needling in the treatment of Hunt facial paralysis(HFP). Methods A total of 80 HFP patients were randomly divided into acupuncture and medication groups(n=40 cases/group). Jingjin needling was applied to Yangbai(GB14) to Shangxing(GV23), Touwei(ST8), Cuanzhu(BL2), Sizhukong(TE23,penetrative needling), Dicang(ST4) to Jiache(ST6, penetrative needling), Yingxiang(LI20) and Xiaguan(ST7), Hegu(LI4), Yifeng(TE17), Yuyao(EX-HN 4), and Shenmai(BL62), with the needles retained for 30 min. The treatment was conducted once daily, with 10 consecutive days being a therapeutic course, and 3 courses altogether. Patients of the medication group received oral administration of Prednisone acetate(12 days), Acyclovir(7 days), intramuscular injection of Vitamin B_(12) and Vitamin B_1(10 days), then, oral administration of Vitamin B_1, successively. The therapeutic effect was assessed by using House-Brackman(H-B) facial function grading system(grade I to VI), traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) sign and symptom score, and facial disability index(FDI) scale including FDI physical function(FDIP, food and water swallowing, speaking-pronouncing, dryness or tearing, and mouth-opening) and FDI social function(FDIS, self-rating anxiety/depression scales), separately.Results After the treatment, the TCM symptom and sign scores for depth of nasolabial groove, nose shrugging, lower lip asymmetry, food retention and post-auricular pain were significantly lower in the medication group(P<0.05).After the treatment, the TCM symptom and sign scores for frontal muscle movement, eyelid opening and closing, depth of nasolabial groove, nose shrugging, lower lip asymmetry, cheek blowing, food retention, latissimus cervicalis contraction, taste disorder, hearing hypersensitivity, tears and discomfort and post-auricular pain were significantly lower in the acupuncture group(P<0.05).Comparison between two groups showed that the TCM symptom and sign scores for frontal muscle movement, eyelid opening and closing, depth of nasolabial groove, nose shrugging, lower lip asymmetry, cheek blowing, food retention, latissimus cervicalis contraction, taste disorder, hearing hypersensitivity, tears and discomfort and post-auricular pain were significantly lower in the acupuncture group than in the medication group(P<0.05).The scores of FDIP and FDIS were significantly increased in both groups(P<0.01) and notably higher in the acupuncture group than in the medication group(P<0.01) after the treatment. The total effective rate of acupuncture group was 97.5%(39/40), and that of medication group was 72.5%(29/40). The therapeutic effect of the acupuncture group was significantly superior to that of the medication group(P<0.01).Conclusion Jingjin needling has a good therapeutic effect in improving facial nerve function, psychosomatic function and clinical signs and symptoms in HFP patients, evidently being better than medication.

      摘要:Objective To review the current situation of researches on auricular acupuncture treatment for obesity by using bibliometric analysis, so as to provide a reference for clinical application and experimental research in the future.Methods Articles written in both Chinese and English and published from the time of establishment of the following databases were collected from databases of CNKI, Wanfang, PubMed and Web of Science by using key words of "otopoint sticking" "otopoint seed-pres-sing" "auriculotherapy" "ear/auricular acupuncture" "auricular pressure" "auricular-plaster therapy" "acupuncture and auricular pressure" "auriculopressure" "transcutaneous vagus nerve stimulation(taVNS)" "obesity" "adiposity" "adiposis" and "fatty". The articles met our inclusive criteria were analyzed for summarizing their publication years, involved journals, research organizations and selected acupoints. Results A total of 61 qualified Chinese and 44 English articles were retrieved and published in 45 and 25 journals, respectively. The commonly-used acupoints are "Endocrine" "Stomach" "Spleen" "Shenmen" "Hunger point" "Sanjiao" "Lung" and "Subcortex". The employed auricular acupoint therapy mainly includes auricular acupressure, ear acupuncture, auricular vagus nerve stimulation, and auricular laser radiation. Conclusion Current clinical literature on auricular acupuncture treatment of obesity is relatively lower in quality. Thus, strict research protocols and randomized controlled clinical trials with multiple centers and larger samples are definitely necessary for providing reliable evidence for clinical treatment of obesity by using auricular acupuncture therapy.

      摘要:Pain, especially chronic pain, can cause multiple changes including sensory-discriminative, emotional-affective, and cognitive-behavior changes and thus greatly affects patients' physical and mental health and quality of life. Therefore, multi-dimensional regulation of paralgesia, cognitive impairment, and negative emotion in patients with chronic pain has become a hot spot in recent studies. The brain regions in the limbic system are involved in the formation and expression of "pain sensation-emotion-cognition". Existing evidence suggests that acupuncture has a multi-dimensional comprehensive regulatory effect on chronic pain, and the brain regions in the limbic system also mediate the analgesic effect of acupuncture. However, further studies are still needed to explore the role and mechanism of action of these brain regions in the multi-dimensional regulation of chronic pain by acupuncture. This article reviews the research advances in the neural mechanism of the limbic system in chronic pain and the role of the limbic system in mediating acupuncture analgesia and mainly elaborates on the mechanism of action of the brain regions in the limbic system in the multi-dimensional regulation of chronic pain.
