      摘要:Objective To investigate the effect of electroacupuncture(EA) at "Baihui "(GV20) and "Shenshu "(BL23) on activation of glial cells, expression of inflammatory factor proteins and aquaporin 4(AQP4)in the hippocampus of amyloid precursor protein/presenilin-1(APP/PS1) transgenic mice, so as to explore its mechanisms underlying improvement of Alzheimer's disease(AD). Methods Twenty C57/BL6 background male APP695/PS1-dE9(APP/PS1) double transgenic mice(model group) and 20 wild type(WT) C57/BL6 mice(blank group) were respectively randomized into control and EA groups. EA(2 Hz/15 Hz, 1-2 mA) was applied to GV20 and bilateral BL23 for 30 min, once daily, 6 days a week for 4 weeks. The recognition memory ability was detected by novel object recognition tests in a behavior test box. The percentage of time spent in close interaction with novel object(C) relative to the total time was used to generate preference index. The contents of hippocampal β amyloid protein(Aβ)_(1-40) and Aβ_(1-42) were assayed using ELISA, and the expression levels of glial fibrillary acidic protein(GFAP), ionic calcium binding receptor molecule-1(Iba-1), interleukin-1β(IL-1β), interleukin-6(IL-6) and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) proteins in the hippocampus measured by Western blot. The activities of hippocampal astrocytes(GFAP-labelled cells), microglia(Iba-1-labelled cells) and the polarity expression of AQP4(for removing Aβ) were measured by immunohistochemistry. Results The preference index was significantly decreased in the model group relatively to the blank control group(P<0.05) and considerably increased in the model+EA group relatively to the model group(P<0.05), suggesting an improvement of the recognition memory after EA. The contents of Aβ_(1-40) and Aβ_(1-42), immunoactivity of GFAP and Iba-1, expression levels of GFAP, Iba-1, IL-1β, IL-6 and TNF-α proteins were significantly higher in the model group than in the blank control group(P<0.01,P<0.05), while the AQP4 immunoactivity was notably lower in the model group than in the blank control group(P<0.05). Compared with the model group, the levels of Aβ_(1-40) and Aβ_(1-42), GFAP, Iba-1, IL-1β, IL-6 and TNF-α proteins, and the percentage of Aβ plaque area were significantly decreased in the model+EA group(P<0.01,P<0.05), and the immunoactivity of AQP4 was significantly increased in the mo-del+EA group(P<0.05). No significant changes were found in the above-mentioned indexes in the blank+EA group relevant to the blank control group(P>0.05).Conclusion EA at GV20 and BL23 can reduce inflammatory reaction and Aβ level, suppress activation of astrocytes and microglia, and up-regulate expression of AQP4 in the hippocampus tissue in APP/PS1 transgenic mice, which may contribute to its effect in improving recognition memory ability, suggesting a role of EA intervention in delaying the development of AD via promoting the drainage of Aβ by the glymphatic system in the brain.

      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of electroacupuncture(EA) on expression of histone deacetylase 2(HDAC2), histone H3, bone formation related genes and proteins in osteoporosis rats, so as to reveal its mechanisms underlying improvement of osteoporosis. Methods Female SD rats were randomly divided into 4 groups:sham operation, model, EA and medication(n= 10 rats in each group). The osteoporosis model was established by castration. EA(2 Hz, 1 mA) was applied to bilateral "Shenshu"(BL23) and "Pishu"(BL20) for 10 min, once every other day for 8 weeks. Rats of the medication group received subcutaneous injection of 17 β-estradiol(100 μg/kg, 20 μg/mL). The bone quality and quantity including the cortical bone mineral density(CBMD), trabecular bone mineral density(TBMD), ratio of bone volume/total volume(BV/TV), trabecular thickness(Tb.Th), trabecular number(Tb.N), trabecular separation(Tb. Sp), trabecular bone pattern factor(Tb.Pf), and structure model index(SMI) of the right thigh-bone were detected by using a micro-computed tomography. Serum alkaline phosphatase(ALP) and estrogen 2(E2) contents were assayed by using colorimetry and ELISA, expression levels of HDAC2, histone H3 and Runx2 in the thigh-bone were detected using Western blot, and that of Runx2 mRNA was detected using quantitative real-time PCR, separately. The co-expression of Ac-histone H3/Runx2 and Runx2/ALP was observed by using immunofluorescence histochemical staining.Methods After modeling, the levels of TBMD, BV/TV, Tb.Th, and Tb.N, serum E2 and ALP, and expression of Runx2 protein and mRNA, Ac-histone and ALP proteins were significantly lower(P<0.01), and those of Tb.Sp, Tb.Pf and SMI, HDAC2 and histone H3 proteins were significantly higher(P<0.01) in the model group than those in the sham operation group. After the interventions, the decrease of TBMD, BV/TV, Tb.N,Runx2 protein and mRNA,ALP in both EA and medication groups, serum E2 in the medication group, and Ac-histone H3 in the EA group, and the increase of Tb.Sp in the medication group, Tb.Pf, SMI, and HDAC2 in both EA and medication groups, and histone H3 in the EA group were reversed(P<0.01, P<0.05). No significant changes were found in the levels of CBMD after modeling relevant to the sham operation group, and after EA and medication interventions(P>0.05). The effects of EA were significantly superior to 17 β-estradiol in down-regulating the expression of HDAC2 and histone H3 proteins and in up-regulating expression of Ac-histone H3 protein(P<0.01,P<0.05).Conclusion EA treatment can increase bone density, increase bone mass and trabecular bone, and promote trabecular bone rod-like changes in plate shape in osteoporosis rats, which is related to its effect in up-regulating the expression of Ac-histone H3 protein, and down-regulating the expression of bone formation-related proteins.

      摘要:Objective To investigate the profile of metabolites of gastric mucosa involving the effectiveness of moxibustion in the treatment of syndromes of stomach heat(SH) and stomach cold(SC) by 1H-nuclear magnetic resonance(1H-nuclear magnetic resonance(1H-NMR) spectroscopy in rats, so as to reveal its mechanisms underlying improvement of gastric disorders.Methods Male SD rats were randomly divided into control, SH-model, SC-model, SH-moxibustion and SC-moxibustion groups(n=6 rats/group). The SH-model and SC-model were established by gavage of pepper liquid plus ethanol, and ice water plus NaOH, respectively. Moxibustion was applied to bilateral "Zusanli"(ST36) and "Liangmen"(ST21) for 20 min, once daily for 7 days. Histopathological changes of the gastric tissue were observed by H.E. staining. Differential metabolites in the gastric mucosal tissue were detected and the relevant metabolic pathways analyzed by using 1H-NMR) spectroscopy in rats, so as to reveal its mechanisms underlying improvement of gastric disorders.Methods Male SD rats were randomly divided into control, SH-model, SC-model, SH-moxibustion and SC-moxibustion groups(n=6 rats/group). The SH-model and SC-model were established by gavage of pepper liquid plus ethanol, and ice water plus NaOH, respectively. Results Compared with the control group, the body mass was decreased significantly from the 4(th) to 14(th) to 14(th) day after modeling(P<0.05,P<0.01). After the treatment, the body mass was obviously increased from the 10(th) day after modeling(P<0.05,P<0.01). After the treatment, the body mass was obviously increased from the 10(th) day on in both SH-EA and SC-EA groups relevant to the SH and SC model group, respectively(P<0.05,P<0.01). H.E. staining showed severe damage of the columnar epithelial structure of the gastric mucosa and inflammatory cell infiltration in the SH group, and inflammatory cell infiltration in the SC model group, which were relatively milder in both moxibustion groups. (th) day on in both SH-EA and SC-EA groups relevant to the SH and SC model group, respectively(P<0.05,P<0.01). H.E. staining showed severe damage of the columnar epithelial structure of the gastric mucosa and inflammatory cell infiltration in the SH group, and inflammatory cell infiltration in the SC model group, which were relatively milder in both moxibustion groups. 1H-NMR analysis displayed a total of 16 potential biomarkers in the injured gastric mucosa of SH syndrome and 14 biomarkers for the SC syndrome after mode-ling, and 13 metabolites related to SH moxibustion and 8 metabolites related to SC moxibustion after moxibustion interventions, respectively. After moxibustion, among the 13 differential metabolites of the SH syndrome, the effectively up-regulated candidates were isoleucine, creatinine, choline and lactate(P<0.05), and the down-regulated ones were choline phosphate, glycine, alanine, urine pyrimidine, tyrosine, phenylalanine, hypoxanthine, adenosine and nicotinamide(P<0.05). Among the 8 metabolites related to the SC syndrome, creatinine, ethanolamine, choline, adenosine and nicotinamide were markedly increased(P<0.05), and glycine, creatine phosphate and tyrosine remarkably decreased in their levels after moxibustion(P<0.05). MetPA showed that moxibustion could regulate 10 metabolic pathways for SH syndrome and 7 metabolic pathways for SC syndrome. Metabolites and metabolic pathways are mainly involved in functions of amino acid metabolism, energy metabolism and inflammatory response.Conclusion The idea of "moxibustion could be used for heat syndrome" has metabolic substance basis, and its efficacy in repairing the injured gastric mucosa involves regulation of amino acid metabolism, energy balance and inflammation response, and moxibustion for SH and SC syndromes has both generality and specificity in regulating metabolic activities.

      摘要:Objective To investigate the underlying mechanisms of warming-promotion needling(WPN) for vascular dementia(VD) by observing its effect on the expression of L-type calcium channel current(Ica.L), changes of intracellular [Ca(2+)]i in neurons and pathomorphological changes of brain in VD rats. Methods One hundred and eight male SD rats were randomized into normal control, model, medication, WPN, uniform reinforcing-reducing needling(URRN), and needle-twirling groups(n=18 in each group). The VD model was established by repeated occlusion and reperfusion of the bilateral common carotid arteries. Rats of the medication group were treated by gavage of Nimodipine twice a day for 14 days. For rats of the 3 acupuncture groups, WPN or URRN or needle-twirling was applied to "Dazhui"(GV14), "Baihui"(GV20) and "Shuigou"(GV26) for 30 min, once a day for 14 days. Changes of Ica.L in hippocampal neurons were observed by whole-cell patch clamp technique, and levels of [Ca(2+)]i in neurons and pathomorphological changes of brain in VD rats. Methods One hundred and eight male SD rats were randomized into normal control, model, medication, WPN, uniform reinforcing-reducing needling(URRN), and needle-twirling groups(n=18 in each group). Results Compared with the normal control group, the current density of Ica.L, and the intracellular[Ca(2+)]i levels were significantly increased(P<0.05), and the I-V curves of Ica.L was apparently shifted down in the model group. In comparison with the model group, the current density of Ica.L was obviously reduced(P<0.05), the I-V curves of Ica.L shifted up and the intracellular Ca(2+)]i levels were significantly increased(P<0.05), and the I-V curves of Ica.L was apparently shifted down in the model group. In comparison with the model group, the current density of Ica.L was obviously reduced(P<0.05), the I-V curves of Ica.L shifted up and the intracellular Ca(2+) content notably decreased in the medication, WPN, URRN and needle-twirling groups(P<0.05). The effect of WPN was significantly superior to those of URRN and needle-twiiling(P<0.05). H.E. stain showed a reduction in the number of hippocampal neurons, dilation of intercellular space, swelling of cell body, karyopyknosis, disordered arrangement and increased number of gliacytes in the model group, which was apparently milder in the medication and 3 acupuncture groups(the WPN group in particular). Conclusion The WPN can reduce Ica.L current density and [Ca(2+) content notably decreased in the medication, WPN, URRN and needle-twirling groups(P<0.05). The effect of WPN was significantly superior to those of URRN and needle-twiiling(P<0.05). H.E. stain showed a reduction in the number of hippocampal neurons, dilation of intercellular space, swelling of cell body, karyopyknosis, disordered arrangement and increased number of gliacytes in the model group, which was apparently milder in the medication and 3 acupuncture groups(the WPN group in particular). Conclusion The WPN can reduce Ica.L current density and [Ca(2+)]i content of hippocampal neurons in brain slices of VD rats, which may contribute to its effect in relieving VD by suppressing calcium overload.

      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of catgut implantation at "Yingxiang"(LI20) on lower airway remodeling and levels of osteopon-tin(OPN) protein in allergic rhinitis(AR) rats, so as to reveal its mechanisms underlying improvement of AR. Methods Male SD rats were randomly divided into control, model and catgut implantation groups, with 10 rats in each group. The AR model was established by intraperitoneal injection and nasal drip of ovalbumin. The catgut implantation was applied to bilateral "Yingxiang"(LI20) for 28 days in rats of the catgut implantation group. The total score of allergic symptoms of rats in each group were observed. The histopathological changes of lower airway were observed under light microscope after Hematoxylineosin, Periodic acid-Schiff and Masson staining. The expression of OPN protein was detected by immunohistochemistry and Western blot, separately. Results The total score of allergic symptoms of nose-wiping, running nose and sneezing, count of lung goblet cells, lung fiber content, and immunoactivity and expression levels of OPN protein were significantly increased in the model group in contrast to the control group(P<0.05). After the intervention, the total score of allergic symptoms, count of lung goblet cells, immunoactivity and expression levels of OPN protein were considerably down-regulated in the catgut implantation group relevant to the model group(P<0.05). H.E. stain showed thickening of partial airway wall, narrowing of lumen, increase of mucus section, widened alveolar septum, infiltration of inflammatory cells, lymphocytes and eosinophil around the bronchus and in the lung interstitium in AR rats, which was milder in the catgut implantation group. The immunoactivity and expression levels of OPN protein were positively related with the lung goblet cells count and lung fiber content(P<0.05,P<0.01). Conclusion Acupoint implantation of catgut can improve pathological changes of lower airway remodeling, which may be related to its effect in down-regulating the expression of OPN protein in the lung tissue.

      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of moxibustion on interleukin-6(IL-6)/signal transduction and transcriptional activator 3(STAT3) signaling pathway in the frontal cortex of fatigue rats, so as to reveal its mechanisms underlying alleviation of fatigue. Methods Twenty-one male SD rats were randomly divided into normal control, model, and moxibustion groups(n=7 rats in each group). The fatigue model was established by forcing the rats to have an exhausted swim under load condition, once daily for 21 days. Moxibustion was applied to bilateral "Zusanli"(ST36) for about 15 min, once every other day for 21 days. The level of IL-6 in the frontal cortex was detected by ELISA, and the expression of Janus kinase 2(JAK2), phosphorylated JAK2(p-JAK2), signal transduction and transcriptional activator 3(STAT3) and phosphorylated STAT3(p-STAT3) proteins in the frontal cortex was detected by Western blot. Results After modeling, the levels of IL-6 content and p-STAT3 protein expression and ratio of p-STAT3/STAT3 were significantly increased in the model group relevant to the normal control group(P<0.01). Follo-wing moxibustion, the duration of load swimming on the 21(st) day was significantly prolonged(P<0.01), content of IL-6 and levels of p-STAT3 protein expression and ratio of p-STAT3/STAT3 were significantly down-regulated in the moxibustion group compared with the model group(P<0.05). No significant differences were found between the model and control, and between moxibustion and model groups in the expression levels of JAK2, p-JAK2, STAT3 and p-JAK2/JAK2(P>0.05). Conclusion Moxibustion intervention can relieve fatigue in fatigue rats, which is associated with its function in inhibiting IL-6/STAT3 signaling pathway to reduce inflammatory injury.

      摘要:Objective To investigate the effect of electrical stimulation with bilateral scalp acupuncture on time parameters in video fluoroscopic swallowing study and cortical excitability in patients with dysphagia after cortical stroke, as well as its possible mechanism of action. Methods A total of 84 patients with dysphagia after cortical stroke were randomly divided into control group with 41 patients and observation group with 43 patients. The patients in the control group were given acupuncture based on acupoint selection for pseudobulbar palsy, and in addition to the treatment in the control group, the patients in the observation group were given electrical stimulation of bilateral scalp acupuncture, with acupuncture and pulse acupuncture at the lower 2/5 of the bilateral anterior oblique parietotemporal lines[on the line connecting Qianshencong(EX-HN1) to Xuanli(GB6)] and the lower 2/5 of the bilateral posterior oblique parietotemporal lines [on the line connecting Baihui(GV20)and Qubin(GB7)], with a needle retaining time of 30 minutes, once a day and 6 times a week for 3 weeks. Before treatment and after 3 weeks of treatment, oral delay time(ODT), oral transit time(OTT), pharyngeal delay time(PDT), and pharyngeal transit time(PTT) were compared between the two group; the Rosenbek Penetration-Aspiration Scale was used to evaluate penetration-aspiration and appro-ximate entropy(ApEn) of EEG nonlinear index. Results After treatment, both groups had significant reductions in ODT, OTT, PDT, PTT, and Rosenbek Penetration-Aspiration score and a significant increase in ApEn(P<0.05). Compared with the control group after treatment, the observation group had significant reductions in ODT and OTT(P<0.05) and significant increases in the ApEn values of bilateral central, parietal, and posterior temporal regions(P<0.05), while there were no significant differences in PDT, PTT, and Rosenbek Penetration-Aspiration score between the two groups(P>0.05). Conclusion In addition to body acupuncture, electrical stimulation with bilateral scalp acupuncture can improve ODT and OTT in the treatment of patients with dysphagia after cortical stroke, which may be associated with the increased excitability of the swallowing cortex.

      摘要:Objective To investigate the effect of Baixiao moxibustion at meridian sinew nodal points combined with routine rehabilitation on upper limb motor function in children with spastic hemiplegic cerebral palsy. Methods A total of 50 children with spastic hemiplegic cerebral palsy were divided into control group and treatment group using a random number table, with 25 children in each group. The children in the control group were given routine rehabilitation training of the ipsilateral upper and lower limbs, and those in the treatment group were given Baixiao moxibustion at the meridian sinew nodal points of the ipsilateral upper limb in addition to the treatment in the control group, once a day and five times a week. Each course of treatment was 4 consecutive weeks, and both groups were treated for 3 courses. Before treatment and at weeks 4 and 12 of treatment, modified Ashworth score was used to evaluate muscle tension of the ipsilateral upper limb, and 88-item version of the Gross Motor Function Measure(GMFM-88) and Carroll upper extremities functional test(UEFT) were used to assess the motor function of the ipsilateral upper limb. Results At weeks 4 and 12 of treatment, both groups had a significant reduction in modified Ashworth score(P<0.05) and significant increases in GMFM-88 and UEFT scores(P<0.05). Both groups had significant changes in modified Ashworth score, GMFM-88 score, and UEFT score from week 4 to week 12 of treatment(P<0.05). Compared with the control group at week 12 of treatment, the treatment group had a significant reduction in modified Ashworth score(P<0.05) and significant increases in GMFM-88 and UEFT scores(P<0.05). Conclusion Baixiao moxibustion at meridian sinew nodal points can significantly improve the muscle tension and motor function of the ipsilateral upper limb in children with spastic hemiplegic cerebral palsy, and the improvement becomes more apparent as the treatment lasts longer.

      摘要:Objective To investigate the clinical effect of thunder-fire moxibustion combined with electroacupuncture in the treatment of cold-dampness knee osteoarthritis. Methods A total of 72 patients with cold-dampness knee osteoarthritis were randomly divided into observation group and control group according to the random numbers generated by computer software, with 36 patients in each group. For the observation group, electroacupuncture was performed at the main acupoints of Dubi(ST35), Neixiyan(EX-LE4), Zusanli(ST36), Yanglingquan(GB34), Yinlingquan(SP9), Xuehai(SP10), Liangqiu(ST34), and Heding(EX-LE2) once a day, with a needle retaining time of 30 min, and thunder-fire moxibustion was performed at Shenque(CV8) and Guanyuan(CV4) in the form of suspended moxibustion once a day, with 30 min each time. The patients in the control group were given oral administration of diclofenac sodium double-release enteric-coated capsules, 75 mg each time, once a day, and Fugui Gutong capsules, 6 capsules a time and 3 times a day. Each course of treatment was 14 days, and both groups were treated for 2 courses, with an interval of 2 days between the two courses. Visual Analogue Scale(VAS) score, Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index(WOMAC) score, and Lequesne index were observed before the treatment, immediately after the treatment, and at 4 months after the treatment, and the outcome of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) syndrome was compared between the two groups after treatment. Results Both groups had significant reductions in VAS score, WOMAC score, and Lequesne index immediately and at 4 months after the treatment(P<0.05). Compared with the control group, the observation group had significant reductions in VAS score, Lequesne index, and WOMAC score(scores of pain, function and total score) immediately and at 4 months after the treatment(P<0.05). The effective rate was 97.1%(34/35) in the observation group, and was 78.8%(26/33) in the control group. The effective rate of the observation group was obviously higher than that of the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion Thunder-fire moxibustion combined with electroacupuncture has a better, more durable clinical effect and fewer adverse reactions than the drugs in the treatment of cold-dampness knee osteoarthritis.

      摘要:Objective To investigate the application characteristics of different acupuncture-moxibusition(acu-moxi) therapies for knee osteoarthritis(KOA), and to provide a reference for clinical application. Methods Computer and data mining techniques were used to establish a database of acu-moxi therapies for KOA, and the articles on acu-moxi in the treatment of KOA in the past decade were collected, screened, entered, reviewed, and analyzed. Acu-moxi therapies for KOA were summarized in terms of treatment method, clinical effect, association between treatment method and acupoint selection, needle specifications, and depth of acupuncture. Results There are as many as 46 kinds of operation methods to treat knee osteoarthritis, among which moxibustion method has the highest frequency and the most operation methods. Traditional Chinese acupuncture and moxibustion technology has a significant effect on knee osteoarthritis, and the effective rate is more than 90%, among which the minimally invasive technique of traditional Chinese medicine has the highest cure rate and recovery rate. The relationship between traditional Chinese medicine operation and acupoint selection shows that the acupuncture and moxibustion therapy guided by traditional Chinese medicine theory pays more attention to acupoint selection based on syndrome differentiation, while the minimally invasive technique of traditional Chinese medicine is mostly proximal acupoint selection. The diameter of the needle with the highest usage frequency was 0.3 mm. The larger the diameter of the needle, the higher the specificity. The level of acupuncture was mostly tendon, followed by bone. The cure rate of acupuncture to bone is the highest. Conclusion Acupuncture and moxibustion has a significant effect in the treatment of KOA, with a profound theoretical basis; treatment of KOA should emphasize overall conditioning, and acupuncture should reach the bone and the tendon, so as to achieve a better clinical effect.

    • Overview of systematic review on acupoint application for bronchial asthma

      摘要:Objective To overview the systematic review/meta-analysis on acupoint application for bronchial asthma. Methods A computerized retrieval was performed from 6 databases, named CNKI, CBM, VIP, WF, PubMed and Cochrane Library. The time of retrieval was from the establishment of the database to April 1, 2019. According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, the two researchers independently selected articles and extracted data. In case of disagreement, a third party was adopted to solve it. Using AMSTAR2, PRISMA and GRADE, the literature quality and evidence grade were assessed. Results A total of 19 articles relevant with systematic evaluation/meta-analysis were included, 16 articles of which were in Chinese and 3 articles in English, published in the period from 2007 to 2018. Forty-two outcome indicators were included. It was found that the quality of methodology was very low, the quality of literature report has some or serious flaws and the quality level of evidence is mostly low or very low. Conclusion Currently, regarding the articles of systematic review/meta-analysis on acupoint application for bronchial asthma, it is quite low in methodological quality and literature report quality and is not high in the grade of outcome indicators. The clinical research should be intensively specified in association with the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine so as to provide more reliable clinical evidence.

      摘要:A literature review was performed to investigate the possible mechanism of scalp acupuncture in stimulating the skin, fascia, muscle, and periosteum and thus affecting cerebral cortex function. The results of literature research show that the effect of scalp acupuncture on cerebral cortex function may be achieved by the stimulation of specific anatomical structures. Stimulation of the skin, fascia, muscle and periosteum can activate the functional areas of the cerebral cortex through the midbrain, thalamus, and brainstem. In addition, different depths of stimulation may affect the deep and shallow sensation of the brain, self-monitoring of the fascia, subcortical central compensation, and cortical discharge. Therefore, exploration of the specific rules and differences in the effect of stimulating different anatomical structures on brain function is the future focus of the clinical and basic research on scalp acupuncture.

      摘要:Alzheimer's disease is a neurodegenerative disease closely related to age, which is characterized by cognitive and memory impairment. Extensive studies have confirmed that Wnt/β-catenin signal pathway is involved in the occurrence and development of Alzheimer's disease. With the characteristics of holistic concept and syndrome differentiation, acupuncture is widely used in clinic. Acupuncture plays a role in the treatment of Alzheimer's disease through the regulation of each target and the whole of the pathway. The author reviewed and combed the research on acupuncture treatment of Alzheimer's disease in recent years, and reviewed the regulatory effects of acupuncture on the important components of Wnt/β-catenin signal pathway(Wnt protein, β-catenin, glycogen synthase kinase-3β) and whole, ATP-binding cassette subfamily B member 1(ABCB1), low density lipoprotein receptor associated protein-1(LRP-1).

      摘要:The therapeutic effect of acupuncture is often closely related to the improvement of microcirculation. Acupuncture stimulation can adjust pathophysiological changes of microcirculation in the human body through multiple ways, multiple links and multiple levels, healing disorders at last. Laser speckle contrast imaging(LSCI), an emerging technology, can be used to study the effect of acupuncture on microcirculation. In this paper, retrieving the related literature published in recent years, we found that LSCI technology has already been applied to the following aspects 1) acupoint-viscera and microcirculation, 2) stimulation-induced transmission of sensations along the meridian and microcirculation, 3) non-meridians or non-acupoints and microcirculation, 4) specific acupoints and microcirculation, as well as 5) different acupuncture needle manipulations and microcirculation. However, most of the studies focused on animal experiments and healthy subjects, observing microcirculatory effects under normal physiological conditions, and the sample size of participants was smaller. In the future, we highly recommend that increasing the sample size and further studying the local microcirculation are necessary in the pathological state of diseases.
