      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of electroacupuncture(EA)on locomotor activity and the expression of high-mobility group box-1(HMGB1) and Toll-like receptor 4(TLR4) in mice with spinal cord injury(SCI), so as to explore its mechanisms underlying improvement of SCI at the acute stage. Methods Forty-eight female C57 BL/6 mice were equally randomized into 3 groups: sham operation, model and EA. The SCI model was established by clamping the spinal cord with a serrefine after laminectomy at the 1(st) lumbar vertebra(L1). EA(1.5 Hz/7.5 Hz, 1.0 mA) was applied to "Jiaji"(EXH-B2) for 10 min, once a day for 5 and 14 days, separately. The hindlimb locomotor function was assessed by Basso, Beattie, Bresnahan Locomotor Rating Scale(BBB). Histopathological changes of the injured area of the spinal cord were determined by H.E. staining. The expression levels of spinal HMGB1, TLR4, ionized calcium binding adaptor molecule 1(Iba1) proteins were detected by Western blot, and the Iba1-positive microglial cells and HMGB1 and Iba1 co-labelled microglia were displayed by immunofluorescence staining.Results After SCI, the BBB scores on day 5 and 14 were obviously decreased(P<0.05), and the expression of HMGB1 on day 14, TLR4 on day 5 and 14, the number of Iba1-positive microglia as well as the co-expressed HMGB1/Iba1-positive microglia on day 5 and 14 were significantly increased in the model group relevant to the sham operation group(P<0.05, P<0.01). In the EA intervention group, SCI-induced reduction of BBB scores on day 5 and 14, and increases of the expression of HMGB1 and Iba1 on day 14, and TLR4 on day 5 and 14, and the number of Iba1-positive cells as well as the co-expressed HMGB1/Iba1-positive microglia on day 14 were reversed relevant to the model group(P<0.05,P<0.01). H.E. staining showed a structural disorder with lots of cavities, severe inflammatory infiltration with a large quantity of inflammatory cells, and a reduction of normal neurons in the injured spinal cord tissue in the model group, which was relatively milder, with lower activation of microglia in the EA group. Conclusion EA can significantly improve locomotor function in SCI mice, which is associated with its effects in suppressing the expression of inflammatory factors such as HMGB1, TLR4, Iba1 and the over-activation of microglia.

      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of electroacupuncture(EA) at "Zusanli"(ST36) and "Feishu"(BL13) on the expression of autophagy related proteins in the lung tissue of rats with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD), so as to explore the mechanism of EA underlying improvement of COPD. Methods Thirty male SD rats were randomly divided into normal, model and EA groups(n=10 in each group). The COPD model was established by intratracheal infusion of Lipopolysaccharide(LPS, 1 mg/kg) and exposure in cigarette smoke. EA was applied to bilateral ST36 and BL13 for 30 min, once every other day for 2 weeks. The pulmonary function(forced vital capacity [FVC], forced expiratory volume in 0.1 s and 0.3 s [FEV0.1, FEV0.3], FEV0.1/FVC and FEV0.3/FVC) was detected by animal pulmonary function analysis system. Histopathological changes of the airway and lung were displayed by H.E. staining. Autophagosomes in the airway and lung tissues were observed by electron microscope. The expression of AMP activated protein kinase(AMPK), mammalian target of rapamycin(mTOR), Unc-51 like autophagy activating kinase 1(ULK1), autophagy related protein ATG6(Beclin1)mRNAs in lung tissue were examined by quantitative real-time PCR. The expression of AMPK, mTOR, ULK1, Beclin1 and microtubule-associated protein 1 light chain 3(LC3)proteins in lung tissue were examined by Western blot. The contents of tumor necrosis factor α(TNF-α) and interleukin 6(IL-6) in the broncho alveolar lavage fluid(BALF) were assayed by ELISA. Results Following modeling, the FVC, FEV0.1, FEV0.3, FEV0.1/FVC and FEV0.3/FVC levels were significantly decreased(P<0.01), the infiltration of inflammatory cells and the increase of autophagosomes were obvious in airway and lung tissue, the mRNA and protein expression of AMPK, ULK1, Beclin1 and the ratio of LC3Ⅱ/LC3Ⅰ were increased(P<0.01), while the mRNA and protein expression of mTOR were decreased(P<0.01), the contents of TNF-α and IL-6 in the BALF were increased in the model group compared with the normal group(P<0.01). After EA intervention, all the indexes mentioned above were completely reversed in the EA group relevant to the model group(P<0.01, P<0.05). Conclusion EA at ST36 and BL13 can improve the lung function of COPD rats, which may be related to its effects in inhibiting the autophagy level and reducing the inflammation response in the lung.

      摘要:Objective To explore the effect of moxa-cone moxibustion at "Feishu"(BL13) and "Zhongfu"(LU1) on the contents of related inflammatory factors in serum and bronchoalveolar lavage fluid(BALF), and the expression of phosphatidy-linositol-3-kinase(PI3 K), retinoic acid related orphan receptor γt(RORγt) and fork/wing helix transcription factor 3(Foxp3) in lung tissue in asthma mice. Methods Sixty male Balb/c mice were divided into normal, model, LY294002(an inhibitor of PI3 K, LY), electroacupuncture(EA) and moxa-cone moxibustion(moxibustion) groups(n=12 in each group). The asthma model was established by intraperitoneal injection of ovalbumin sensitization. The mice in the LY group were injected with LY 294002(7.5 mg/kg) via the tail vein. EA or moxa-cone moxibustion was applied at BL13 and LU1 in the EA or moxibustion group once daily for 2 weeks. The levels of immunoglobulin E(IgE), interleukin-4(IL-4) and interferon-γ(IFN-γ) in serum and BALF were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. The expressions of PI3 K, RORγt and Foxp3 in lung tissue were detected by real-time fluorescent quantitative polymerase chain reaction(QRT PCR) and immunohistochemistry. Results Compared with the normal group, the levels of IgE and IL-4 in serum and BALF, the expressions of PI3 K and RORγt mRNA and protein in lung tissue were significantly increased(P<0.01), while the levels of IFN-γ, and the expressions of Foxp3 mRNA and protein were significantly reduced(P<0.01) in the model group. Compared with the model group, the levels of IgE and IL-4 in serum and BALF, the expressions of PI3 K and RORγt mRNA and protein in lung tissue were significantly decreased(P<0.01, P<0.05), and the levels of IFN-γ in serum and BALF, the expressions of Foxp3 mRNA and protein in lung tissue were significantly increased(P<0.01) in the LY, EA and moxibustion groups. Conclusion Moxa cone moxibustion at Shu-and Mu-acupoints of the lung meridian can reduce airway inflammatory reaction and control asthma attacks in asthma mice, which is closely related to its effects in regulating the expressions of RORγt and Foxp3 through PI3 K signaling pathway.

      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of electroacupuncture(EA) on the expression of Pirt(a regulator of TRPV1) in the dorsal root ganglia(DRG) and transient receptor potential vanilloid 1(TRPV1, a molecular sensor of noxious heat and capsaicin) in the colonic mucosa in rats suffering from diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome(IBS-D), so as to explore its mechanisms underlying alleviation of visceral hypersensitivity of IBS-D. Methods Forty SD rats(half male and half female) were randomly assigned to control, model, EA, and medication groups by lottery, with 10 rats in each group. The IBS-D model was established by chronic unpredictable mild stress(CUMS) and gavage of senna soaking fluid. Rats in the EA group received EA(2 Hz/15 Hz, 0.1—1 mA) stimulation of unilateral "Tianshu"(ST25), "Zusanli"(ST36), "Sanyinjiao"(SP6) and "Taichong"(LR3) for 15 min once a day for 14 days, and rats of the medication group received intragastric administration of pinave-rium bromide(10 mL/kg, 2.7 mg/mL) once daily for 14 days. The visceral pain threshold(VPT) was measured by using abdominal wall withdrawal reflex(AWR) test. The diarrhea index(loose stool rate [total number of loose stool/total number of defecation] X mean loose degree [0—4 grades according to the filter paper stain diameter] in 6 h/d) was used to assess the severity of diarrhea. The expression of Pirt in the DRG and TRPV1 in the colonic mucosa tissue was detected using immunohistochemistry. Results After modeling, the VPT was obviously reduced(P<0.01), while the diarrhea index, mean optical density of Pirt and TRPV1 were remarkably increased in the model group relevant to the control group(P<0.01). After the interventions, the VPT was obviously increased while the diarrhea index, and the mean optical density of Pirt and TRPV1 was noticeably decreased in both EA and the medicine groups in contrast to the model group(P<0.01). No significant differences were found between the EA and medicine groups in up-regulating VPT and down-regulating the diarrhea index, and Pirt and TRPV1 expression(P>0.05). Conclusion EA can effectively alleviate visceral hypersensitivity in IBS-D rats, which may be related to its effect in down-regulating the expression level of DRG Pirt and colonic TRPV1.

      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of moxibustion and acupuncture on apoptosis in gastric mucosal cell and expression of NF-κB, Bcl-2 in chronic atrophic gastritis(CAG) rats, so as to explore its mechanisms underlying improvement of CAG. Methods Forty-eight male SD rats were randomly divided into normal, model, moxibustion and acupuncture groups, with 12 rats in each group. The CAG model was established by gavage of N-methyl-N'-nitro-N-nitroso-guanidine(MNNG) solution and irregular diet for 12 weeks. Moxibustion or acupuncture was applied to "Zusanli"(ST36) and "Zhongwan"(CV12) for 15 min, once daily for two weeks in the moxibustion or acupuncture group. The histopathological changes of the gastric mucosa were observed by HE staining. The apoptosis index of gastric mucosa was measured by TUNEL method. The gene expression levels of NF-κB and Bcl-2 were detected by real-time PCR. Results After modeling, the color of gastric mucosa was pale and dark, with low folds and significant bleeding points. The glands in lamina propria were atrophied, arranged disorderly, and the numbers were significantly reduced, with inflammatory cells infiltrated. Those histopathological changes were evidently milder in the moxibustion and acupuncture groups. Compared with the normal group, the apoptosis index, NF-κB and Bcl-2 gene expression of the model group were significantly increased(P<0.01). After the treatment, the apoptosis index, NF-κB and Bcl-2 gene expression were significantly reduced in the moxibustion and acupuncture groups(P<0.05,P<0.01). The NF-κB expression was lower in the acupuncture group than that of moxibustion group(P<0.01). Conclusion Moxibustion and acupuncture therapy can improve the injury of gastric mucosa in CAG rats, which may be associated with its function in down-regulating the expression of NF-κB and Bcl-2 genes in the gastric mucosa.

      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of electroacupuncture(EA) on the hemorheology and hepatic microcirculation in mice with chronic alcoholic liver injury(cALI), so as to explore the microcirculation mechanism of EA underlying regulating liver function in cALI mice. Methods Forty Kunming mice were randomly assigned to control, model, acupoint EA and non-acupoint EA groups, with 10 mice in each group. The cALI model was established by gavage with 50% ethanol(15 mL/kg, 2 times per day with 8 hours' interval) for 28 d. Mice in the acupoint EA group received EA at bilateral "Zusanli"(ST36) and "Ganshu"(GB11) for 20 min, once daily for 14 d. And mice in the non-acupoint EA group received EA the spot about 1 cm lateral to GB11 and 0.5 cm lateral to ST36 respectively for 20 min, once daily for 14 d. The hepatic blood perfusion(HBP) of mice was detected by laser speckle perfusion imaging. The index of hemorheology, serum markers of liver function and hepatic histology in mice were observed by automatic blood rheometer, automatic bio-analysis machine and H.E. staining, respectively. Results Compared with the control group, the HBP of the model group was significantly decreased(P<0.05); the low-cut whole blood viscosity, plasma viscosity, and erythrocyte sedimentation level were significantly increased(P<0.05), and the red blood cell deformation index was significantly decreased(P<0.05); serum alanine aminotransferase(ALT) and gamma-glutamyl transferase(GGT) increased significantly(P<0.05) in the model group. Hepatocyte steatosis accompanied by inflammatory cell infiltration and focal necrosis was observed in the model group. After EA at ST36 and GB11, and in comparison with the model group showed that the HBP was significantly increased(P<0.05); the low-cut whole blood viscosity, plasma viscosity, erythrocyte sedimentation rate and serum GGT were significantly decreased(P<0.05), and the red blood cell deformation index was significantly increased(P<0.05); the degree of fatty degeneration in the liver tissue was reduced, and the focal necrosis was reduced. The plasma viscosity, erythrocyte sedimentation rate were significantly decreased(P<0.05), and the red blood cell deformation index was significantly increased in the non-acupoint EA group relevant to the model group(P<0.05). The erythrocyte sedimentation rate and the red blood cell deformation index of the acupoint EA group was significantly lower than that of the non-acupoint EA group(P<0.05). Conclusion EA at ST36 and GB11 could improve the hemorheological disorder and the hepatic microcirculation, and inhibit the deve-lopment of liver injury in cALI mice.

      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of electroacupuncture(EA) on Cathepsin-B in the synovium of the knee joint of acute gouty arthritis(AGA) rats, so as to explore the mechanism of EA in the treatment of AGA. Methods A total of 60 male Wistar rats were randomly divided into normal control, model, medication and EA groups, with 15 rats in each group. Rat model of AGA was established by injection of 0.2 mL sodium urate crystal suspension into the left knee joint cavity. The rats in the medication group were treated with colchicine by gavage(0.3 mg·kg(-1)·d(-1)·d(-1)), and the rats in the EA group were treated with EA at the left "Sanyinjiao"(SP6) and "Zusanli"(ST36) for 10 min each time, once a day for a week. The Coderre gait grading standard was used to score the gait of rats. The pathological morphology of synovial tissue of the left knee joint was observed by H.E. staining. The expression levels of Cathepsin-B protein and Nod-like receptor pyrin domain 3(NLRP3), apoptosis-associated speck-like protein containing CARD(ASC),Caspase-1, interleukin-1β(IL-1β) and IL-18 mRNAs were detected by Western blot and real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR, respectively. Results Compared with the normal control group, the degree of synovitis infiltration in the model group was more serious. And the gait score, the protein expression level of Cathepsin-B and the mRNA expression levels of NLRP3,ASC,Caspase-1, IL-1β,IL-18 were significantly increased(P<0.01).After the interventions, the degree of inflammatory infiltration was mild, The gait score, the protein expression level of Cathepsin-B and the mRNA expression levels of NLRP3 and ASC,Caspase-1,IL-1β,IL-18 were significantly decreased in both medication and EA groups in contrast to the model group(P<0.01, P<0.05). Compared with medication group, the mRNA expression levels of Caspase-1 and IL-18 in the EA group were increased(P<0.05). Conclusion EA may inhibit the activation of NLRP3 inflammasome by reducing the activity of Cathepsin-B in the synovium of the knee joint, so as to treat AGA.

      摘要:Objective To study the effect of blood-letting puncture at "Well-points" of the twelve meridians on hippocampal mitophagy of hypobaric hypoxia-induced brain injury(HHIBI) rats, so as to explore its biological mechanisms underlying improvement of high altitude hypoxia-induced brain injury. Methods Male SD rats were randomly divided into normal control group(n=9), and model and blood-letting groups which were further divided into 6, 12, 24, 48 and 72 h subgroups(n=9 in each subgroup). The HHIBI model was established by putting the rats into a hypobaric hypoxia chamber(equivalent to 5 000 m above sea level).The blood-letting groups were given blood-letting therapy at "Shaoshang"(LU11), "Shangyang"(LI1), "Zhongchong"(PC9), "Guanchong"(SJ1), "Shaochong"(HT9), "Shaoze"(SI9), once a day for 7 days. H.E. staining was used to observe the histopatholo-gical changes of hippocampus tissue. Serum hypoxia inducible factor(HIF)-1α and vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) contents were assayed using ELISA, and the expression levels of hippocampal Beclin-1 and LC3-Ⅱ proteins detected using Western blot. Results Compared with the normal control group, the levels of serum HIF-1α and VEGF at each time point, and the expressions of hippocampal Beclin-1 at 12 and 24 h, LC3-Ⅱat each time point were significantly increased in the model group(P<0.05, P<0.01); while in comparison with the model group, the levels of serum HIF-1α and VEGF contents, and the expressions of Beclin-1 at 12 h, LC3-Ⅱ at 24, 48 and 72 h were further significantly up-regulated in the blood-letting group(P<0.01, P<0.05). H.E. staining revealed that the pyramidal cells in the hippocampal CA1 region had a disordered arrangement, and some of them presented swelling with loose and pale cytoplasm or vacuolation at 6, 12 and 24 h, and showed indistinct nucleolus, irregular shape, pyknosis and deep staining and an obvious edema at 48 and 72 h, which was relatively milder in the blood-letting group.Conclusion Blood-letting of "Well-points" can up-regulate serum HIF-1α and VEGF contents and hippocampal Beclin-1 and LC3-Ⅱ(mitophagy related proteins) expressions in HHIBI rats, which may contribute to its effect in reducing hypoxic brain injury.

      摘要:Objective To observe the changes of the skeletal muscle fibrosis and changes of transforming growth factor-β1(TGF-β1)/extracellular signal-regulated kinase(ERK)/connective tissue growth factor(CTGF)pathway in rats after long-term eccentric exercise and acupuncture intervention, so as to explore the mechanism of acupuncture in regulating exercise-induced skeletal muscle fibrosis. Methods A total of 30 male SD rats were randomly divided into normal control, exercise and acupuncture group, with 10 rats in each group. The rat model of skeletal muscle fibrosis was established by eccentric exercise for 3 weeks. After exercise trained every time, the rats of the acupuncture group received acupuncture stimulation by holding the acupuncture needle to obliquely and longitudinally penetrate the ventral part of triceps of the lower leg along its lateral side, followed by retaining the needle for 2 min. Changes of the collagen fibers in each group was observed by scanning electron microscope. The expressions of Collagen Ⅰ, TGF-β1, phosphated(p)-ERK/ERK and CTGF proteins were detected by Western blot. Results After 3 weeks of eccentric exercise and acupuncture, the fibrosis and deposition of collagen fibers in the exercise group were significantly higher than that in the normal control group, the degree of fibrosis in the acupuncture group was significantly lower than that in the exercise group. Compared with the normal control group, the expression levels of Collagen Ⅰ, TGF-β1, CTGF and p-ERK/ERK in the exercise group was significantly higher(P<0.01,P<0.05). After EA interventions, the increased levels of the above indicators were significantly reversed(P<0.05,P<0.01) apart from p-ERK/ERK which had a downward trend, but the difference was not statistically significant. Conclusion The accumulation of chronic sports injury can lead to the deposition of collagen fibers in skeletal muscle, which leads to the fibrosis of skeletal muscle. Acupuncture can inhibit skeletal muscle fibrosis via down-regulating TGF-β1/ERK/CTGF signaling pathway.

      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of electroacupuncture(EA) of Zusanli(ST36) and Zhongwan(CV12) on intestinal nutritional feeding intolerance in patients with severe acute pancreatitis(SAP). Methods A total of 68 SAP patients(hospitalized from January of 2018 to December of 2019 in Cangzhou Hospital of Integrated Medicine) were randomly divided into control and EA groups(n=34 cases in each group). All patients of the two groups received the same early enteral nutrition treatment through nasojejunal tube. EA(5—15 Hz, 1—5 mA) was applied to bilateral ST36 and CV12 for 20 min, twice a day for 7 days. The incidence of feeding intolerance(abdominal distension, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, gastrointestinal bleeding), time to reach energy target, intraperitoneal pressure and the number of borborygmus in 1 min were recorded. The contents of plasma high sensitivity-C reactive protein(hs-CRP), IL-6 and endotoxin were measured using Latex immunoturbidimetric method, chemiluminescence and Tachypiens Amebocyte Lysate Azo substrate color development method, respectively, and the contents of urinary lactulose and mannitol detected using high-performance liquid chromatography. The total protein and albumin levels in the blood were measured for assessing the patients' nutrition status, and acute physiology and chronic health evaluation scoring system(APACHE-Ⅱ) score was determined for assessing the severity of disease. Results Compared with the control group, the incidence of abdominal distension, vomiting and constipation, intolerance rate to feeding, time to reach the energy target, intraperitoneal pressure on day 7, inflammatory indexes, hs-CRP, IL-6, endotoxin, urine L/M on day 4 and 7, and the APACHE Ⅱ score on day 7 were significantly lower(P<0.01), and the number of borborygmus in 1 min on day 4 and 7 after the treatment was significantly higher in the EA group(P<0.01). In comparison with pretreatment, the abdominal pressure and plasma endotoxin level on day 4 and 7, hs-CRP, IL-6 and L/M ratio on day 1, 4 and 7, as well as APACHE Ⅱ score on day 7 after the treatment were significantly decreased in the two groups(P<0.01), and the number of borborygmus on day 4 and 7, and the total protein and albumin on day 7 significantly increased in both the control and EA groups(P<0.01). Conclusion EA of ST36 and CV12 can shorten the time to reach the energy target, reduce inflammatory response, improve the intestinal mucosal barrier function, and thus reduce the incidence of feeding intolerance in SAP patients.

      摘要:Objective To compare the difference of brain functional connectivity between diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome(IBS-D) patients and healthy volunteers and changes after acupuncture intervention, so as to investigate the underlying mechanism of acupuncture in regulating functional activities of IBS-D patients by using seed point correlation analysis. Methods A total of 25 IBS-D patients and 25 healthy volunteers were recruited in the present study and respectively attributed to acupuncture group and control group. The IBS-D patients received manual acupuncture stimulation of Baihui(GV20), Yintang(EX-HN3), and bilateral Tianshu(ST25), Zusanli(ST36), Shangjuxu(ST37), Sanyinjiao(SP6) and Taichong(LR3) with mind-regulating and spleen-strengthening technique for 30 min, once a day, 3 days a week for 6 weeks. Before and after the intervention, the IBS symptom severity scale(IBS-SSS) was used to assess the patients' state of abdominal pain, distention and defecation, and Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale(HAMA) employed to evaluate the patients' anxiety severity. The resting state functional magnetic resonance imaging(rs-fMRI) data were acquired and preprocessed by using SPM8 and DPARSE soft-wares. Seeds(bilate-ral hippocampus regions) to whole-brain analysis was performed to obtain the mean time series of the left and right seed regions, followed by making Pearson correlation analysis to obtain the correlation coefficient(time series from each seed region with the rest of the voxels in the brain), and making a multivariate comparative correction to get data of functional connectivity(FC) of bilateral hippocampus regions and to find the related difference in the brain regions. Then, the differences of the FC of brain regions between IBS-D patients and healthy volunteers were compared. Results Following acupuncture treatment, both the HAMA and IBS-SSS scores were significantly reduced in the acupuncture group compared with its pre-treatment(P<0.01). Compared with the healthy volunteers, there were a reduction in the functional connectivity between the left hippocampus seed region and the right inferior temporal gyrus, left fusiform gyrus and left superior gyrus, and between the right hippocampus region and the right fusiform gyrus, left inferior temporal gyrus, left inferior occipital gyrus, left rectus gyrus, left insula, left precuneus, right angular gyrus, left middle occipital gyrus, right precuneus, and the left superior temporal gyrus, and an increase in the FC between the left hippocampus and left superior temporal gyrus was increased in ISB-D patients. Self-comparison showed that after the treatment, the FC was increased between the left hippocampus seed region and the right inferior temporal gyrus, left fusiform gyrus, bilateral lingual gyrus, left amygdala, right inferior occipital gyrus, right insula, right middle frontal gyrus, left middle frontal gyrus and the left middle occipital gyrus; and between the right hippocampus seed region and the posterior inferior cerebellar lobe, left inferior temporal gyrus, left suboccipital gyrus, right fusiform gyrus, left insula, right inferior frontal gyrus, left superior temporal gyrus, left middle occipital gyrus, right middle frontal gyrus, left supplementary motor area and right supplementary motor area, and decreased between the left hippocampus region and the left anterior cingulate, paracingulate gyrus and the right posterior central gyrus in IBS-D patients. Conclusion Mind-regulating and spleen-strengthening acupuncture intervention may improve the abdominal pain and distension and emotional state in IBS-D patients, which is possibly associated with its effect in enhancing FC between the hippocampus and brain regions.

      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of Fu's subcutaneous needling therapy on pain degree, quality of life, serum 5-hydroxytryptamine(5-HT) and neuropeptide Y(NPY) in patients with intercostal pain after surgery for osteoporotic thoracic vertebral compression fracture(OVCF) and explore the application value of Fu's subcutaneous needling in treatment of post-operative intercostal pain. Methods A total of 60 patients with intercostal pain after OVCF surgery were divided into a medication group and a Fu's subcutaneous needling therapy group, with 30 cases in each group. In the medication group, zoledronic acid injection, salmon calcitonin injection, calcitonin D tablets and mecobalamin tablets were prescribed. The duration of treatment was 8 weeks. In the Fu's subcutaneous needling therapy group, on the base of treatment as the medicine group, Fu's subcutaneous needling therapy was provided for 2 weeks, once every other day. The needle is inserted 6 cm away from the most painful point. Separately, in 2, 4 and 8 weeks of treatment, as well as in 16 weeks after treatment, the visual analogue scale(VAS) and the generic quality of life inventory-74(GQOLI-74) were adopted to evaluate intercostal pain and quality of life in the patients of both groups and analyze the incidence of adverse reaction. Radioimmunoassay was used to measure the levels of serum 5-HT and NPY. Results Compared with the results before treatment, in 2, 4 and 8 weeks of treatment as well as in 16 weeks after treatment, VAS scores of both groups were all reduced(P<0.05), GQOLI-74 scores increased obviously(P<0.05) and the levels of serum 5-HT and NPY increased obviously(P<0.05) in the two groups. In 2, 4 and 8 weeks of treatment as well as in 16 weeks after treatment, VAS score in the Fu's subcutaneous needling therapy group was lower than that in the medication group(P<0.05), GQOLI-74 score and the levels of serum 5-HT and NPY were higher than those in the medication group(P<0.05). During the treatment and in 16 weeks after treatment, the difference was not significant in the incidence of adverse reaction between the two groups(P>0.05). Conclusion Fu's subcutaneous needling therapy can relieve intercostal pain and improves the quality of life in the patients after surgery for OVCF.

      摘要:Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of acupuncture combined with moxibustion with seed-sized moxa cone in the treatment of depression in college students, and explore its effect on serum 5-hydroxytryptamine(5-HT). Methods Sixty undergraduates with depression were divided into acupuncture-moxibustion group and medication group according to the random number table, with 30 patients in each group. The patients in acupuncture-moxibustion group received acupuncture and moxibustion with seed-sized moxa cone at acupoints on Shaoyang meridian according to the method of "rotating the pivot and regulating the qi", one time every other day. The patients in medication group received oral administration of fluoxetine hydrochloride capsule 20 mg once a day, and both groups were treated continuously for 8 weeks. The scores of Hamilton depression(HAMD-17) scale, self-rating depression scale(SDS) and serum 5-HT content before and after treatment were compared between the two groups.Results Compared with before treatment, the HAMD-17 and SDS scores of the acupuncture-moxibustion group began to decrease after 2 weeks of treatment(P<0.05); while the HAMD-17 and SDS scores of the the medication group began to decrease after 4 weeks of treatment(P<0.05). After 2, 4 and 8 weeks of treatment, the HAMD-17 and SDS scores of the acupuncture-moxibustion group decreased more significantly than the medication group(P<0.05). The 5-HT contents of the two groups were significantly higher than those before treatment(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference in serum 5-HT content between the two groups(P>0.05). The adverse reaction score of the acupuncture-moxibustion group was lower than that of the medication group(P<0.05). The total effective rate of the acupuncture-moxibustion group was 92.86%(26/28), better than the medication group 81.48%(22/27,P<0.05). Conclusion Acupuncture combined with seed-sized moxa cone moxibustion is more effective than oral administration of fluoxetine hydrochloride in treating college students' depression, and acupuncture combined with moxibustion has a faster onset and fewer adverse reactions in the treatment of college students' depression.

      摘要:Objective To investigate the effect characteristics and mechanism of acupuncture in autonomic nerve regulation through a comprehensive literature analysis. Methods CNKI and PubMed databases were searched for the studies on acupuncture in autonomic nerve regulation in the past 30 years, and Excel was used to perform a descriptive analysis of research subjects, intervention methods, intervention sites(acupoint selection), intervention parameters, and effect mechanism of acupuncture. Results A total of 202 studies were included, among which there were 51 clinical studies, mostly on the nervous system and the circulatory system; Neiguan(PC6), Zusanli(ST36), Fengchi(GB20), and Hegu(LI4) were the most frequently used acupoints, manual acupuncture was the most common intervention method, most of the acupoints selected were in the extremities, head, face, and neck, and heart rate variability was the main parameter for evaluation. Among the 151 animal experimental studies, there were many studies on the digestive system and the circulatory system; "Zusanli"(ST36), "Neiguan"(PC6), and "Shenmen"(HT7) were the most frequently used acupoints, electroacupuncture was the most common intervention method, most of the acupoints selected were in the extremities, and the main effect mechanism was to regulate the central vagus nerve activity and the cholinergic anti-inflammatory pathway(CAP). Conclusion Acupuncture has a good effect on autonomic nerve regulation. The acupoints in extremities, head, and face are mainly used in studies. The main action pathways are central vagus nerve activity and CAP, as demonstrated in the animal experiments. Acupuncture has specific effect characteristics, which are closely associated with the acupoints, methods, and parameters of stimulation.

      摘要:Acupuncture has a long history of application in the field of reproduction, and in the past 20 years, numerous clinical studies have been conducted to explore the value of acupuncture in assisted reproductive technology. However, due to inconsistent research findings, there are still controversies over the clinical safety and efficacy of acupuncture in assisting in vitro fertilization-embryo transfer(IVF-ET), which may be closely associated with lacking of standardized treatment regimen in clinical trials of acupuncture. For that reason, this article reviews 16 representative clinical trials of acupuncture assisting IVF-ET published worldwide in 1999—2020, summarizes the grouping design, acupuncture method(acupuncture timing, acupuncture frequency, acupoints, and acupuncture types), and pregnancy outcome(pregnancy rate, clinical pregnancy rate, ongoing pregnancy rate, and live birth rate), and discusses several key links in clinical protocol design, so as to provide references for future clinical research.

      摘要:Binding-fixation is the most commonly used method for acupuncture research in rats, but its resulted stronger stress response may affect the experimental outcomes. Hence, we developed a practical fixing device using the abandoned meshy cage covers, bolts, hooks, and loop fasteners. It includes two straps, two ropes, a small jacket with a self-locking Velcro strap and a meshy cage cover with a piece of fixed Velcro which may be placed on a rectangular storage box. Rats can be fixed in a recumbent position or a prone position. Outcomes showed that it is not only convenient and cheaper but also has a higher successful rate of fixation and a longer fixation time for completing an experiment.
