      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of electroacupuncture(EA) on the expression of lumbar spinal κ-opioid receptor(KOR) and Toll-like receptor 4(TLR4) in microglia in neuropathic pain rats, so as to explore the role of cross-talk between KOR and TLK4 in EA-induced alleviation of chronic neuropathic pain. Methods Wistar male rats were randomized into control, model, EA and EA plus KOR inhibitor(EA+inhibitor) groups(n=18 in each group). The neuropathic pain model was established in rats by ligature of the right sciatic nerve. EA was applied at bilateral “Zusanli”(ST36) and “Yanglingquan”(GB34) for 30 min, once daily for 5 days. JDTic dihydrochloride(a KOR inhibitor) was administrated by intraperitoneal injection before EA intervention. The difference value of paw withdrawal thermal latency(PWLD) of the bilateral hind-limbs was used as the thermal pain reaction level. At the end of experiments, the rat's lumbar spinal cord(L2—L4) was taken for detecting the expression of CD68 mRNA(a marker of the activated microglia) and Iba-1(a marker for the activated and resting microglia) immunoactivity, and dynorphin content, and KOR mRNA and TLR4 protein(in immunomagnetic microbead method separated microglia) by using fluorescence quantitative PCR, immunofluorescence, radioimmunoassay and Western blot, separately. Results Compared with the control group, a strong thermal hyperalgesia was induced, the expression levels of Iba-1 and CD68 mRNA in the spinal cord, TLR4 protein of the spinal microglia were significantly increased(P<0.01) in the model group. The microglia were characterized by somatic hypertrophy and thickened branches in the model group. After EA intervention, the PWLD, the expression of Iba-1, CD68 mRNA and TLR4 protein of the microglia were significantly decreased(P<0.05), while the content of spinal dynorphin and the expression of KOR mRNA of the microglia increased in the EA group relative to the model group(P<0.05). The hypertrophic microglia shrinked slightly in the EA group. After injection of KOR inhibitor, the PWLD and expression levels of Iba-1, CD68 mRNA and TLR4 protein were significantly increased(P<0.05), and the expression of KOR mRNA was significantly decreased(P<0.05) in the EA+inhibitor group in comparison with the EA group. Conclusion The analgesia effect of EA may partly mediated by spinal microglial KOR and the activation of KOR of microglia may be a target for inhibition of microglial TLR4-induced pro-inflammatory signaling.

      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of moxibustion at “Shenshu”(BL23) and “Guanyuan”(CV4) on decidua-lization and uterine natural killer cells in rats with thin endometrium, so as to explore its mechanism underlying promotion of embryo implantation. Methods Female SD rats were randomly divided into normal control, model and wheat-grain-sized moxa cone moxibustion(moxibustion) groups, with 14 rats in each group. The thin endometrium model was established by bilaterally intrauterine perfusion of 95% ethanol(first) and saline(later) during estrus. For rats of the moxibustion group, the ignited wheat-grain-sized moxa cones were applied to bilateral BL23 and CV4, with 7 moxa cones for each acupoint, once a day, continuously for 3 estrous cycles. Then the male and female rats were raised in the same cage. On the 5(th) day of pregnancy, the rats were killed under anesthesia and the uterus tissue was collected for measuring the endometrium thickness and the numbers of blood vessels and glands after H.E. staining, detecting the levels of the proportion of natural killer cells with flow cytometry. After the uterine natural killer cells were sorted by the immunomagnetic bead method, the expression levels of insulin-like growth factor binding protein(IGFBP-1), interferon(INF-γ), tumor necrosis factor(TNF-α), transforming growth factor(TGF-β), interleukin 4(IL-4) and IL-10 mRNAs were detected by using fluorescence quantitative real-time PCR. Results Compared with the normal control group, the endometrium thickness, number of glands and blood vessels, and the expression levels of IGFBP-1, TGF-β, IL-4 and IL-10 mRNAs were significantly decreased(P<0.01, P<0.05), while the expression levels of IFN-γ and TNF-α mRNAs were significantly increased(P<0.05,P<0.01) in the model group. In contrast to the model group, the endometrium thickness, number of glands and blood vessels, and the expression levels of IGFBP-1, TGF-β, IL-4 and IL-10 mRNAs were significantly increased(P<0.05, P<0.01), while the expression levels of IFN-γ and TNF-α mRNAs were considerably down-regulated(P<0.05, P<0.01) in the moxibustion group. No significant difference was found among the 3 groups in the proportion of natural killer cells in the endometrium(P>0.05). Conclusion Moxibustion of BL23 and CV4 with wheat-grain-sized moxa cones can improve the degree of thin endometrial decidualization, which may be related with its functions in regulating the levels of cytokines secreted from natural killer cells in the uterus.

      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of electroacupuncture(EA)on renal function and autophagy-related protein expression in diabetic nephropathy(DN) rats, so as to explore its mechanisms underlying improvement of DN. Methods Male Wistar rats were randomly divided into normal control, DN model and EA groups(n=8 rats in each group). The DN model was established by high-fat diet(for 4 weeks) + streptozotocin(STZ,35 mg/kg, i.p.). EA(2 Hz/15 Hz, 1 mA) was applied to bilateral “Shenshu”(BL23)and “Zusanli”(ST36)for 20 min, 5 times a week for 6 consecutive weeks. The urine volume in 24 h(24 h-UV) was recorded, the levels of urine protein in 24 h(24 h-UP),blood urea nitrogen(BUN) and serum creatinine(Scr) were detected by using an automatic biochemical analyzer, and the fasting blood glucose(FBG) was detected using rapid blood glucose paper test. The histopathological changes of glomerulus of the left kidney were observed after periodic acid-Schiff stain(PAS) and the ultra-microstructural changes, the numbers of autophagosomes and autophagic vacuoles of the right kidney were observed by transmission electronic microscope(TEM). The expression and localization of podocyte marker protein Nephrin was detected by using immunofluorescence assay, and the expression levels of autophagy-related proteins microtubule associated protein 1(LC3),Beclin-1,p62 and Nephrin in the kidney tissue measured by Western blot. Results Before treatment, compared with the normal control group, the levels of 24 h-UV,24 h-UP and FBG were significantly increased(P<0.01) in the model and EA groups. After treatment, compared with the normal group, the levels of 24 h-UV,24 h-UP,FBG,BUN,Scr and p62 protein expression were signi-ficantly increased(P<0.01),and the expression levels of LC3Ⅱ,Beclin-1 and Nephrin proteins and ratio of LC3Ⅱ/Ⅰ were significantly decreased(P<0.01) in the model group. Compared with the model group, the levels of 24 h-UV,24 h-UP,FBG,BUN and p62 were apparently decreased(P<0.01,P<0.05),while the expression levels of LC3Ⅱ,Beclin-1 and Nephrin proteins and ratio of LC3Ⅱ/Ⅰ were obviously up-regulated(P<0.01,P<0.05) in the EA group. No significant changes were found in the level of Scr after EA(P>0.05) and in the expression levels of LC3 Ⅰ after modeling and EA(P>0.05). Outcomes of PAS showed blurred structure of the glomerulus with obvious proliferation of glomerular mesangial cells, increase of cell matrix, and thickening of basement membrane of the glomerulus and renal tubule, atrophy of epithelia cells of renal tubules and infiltration of inflammatory cells in the renal interstitum; and TEM revealed fusion and exfoliation of some foot processes, bareness or thickening of some basement membrane, and reduction of number of autophagosomes or autophagobubbles in podocytes in the model group, which was relatively milder in the EA group. Conclusion EA can effectively alleviate kidney damage in DN rats, which may be related to its function in facilitating autophagy in the kidney.

      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of herbal-cake-separated moxibustion on changes of vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)/VEGF receptor(VEGFR) in endometriosis(EMs) model rats, so as to analyze the regulatory mechanism of herbal-cake-separated moxibustion on EMs. Methods SD rats were randomly divided into sham operation, model, herbal-cake-separated moxibustion, and medication groups, with 30 rats in each group. The EMs rats model was established by removing the endometrium. Herbal-cake-separated moxibustion was applied to “Dazhui”(GV14) and “Mingmen”(GV4) for 6 moxa-cones every time. Rats of the medication group was treated by gavage of gestrinone(60 mg/kg). All the treatments were conducted once daily for 7 days. The ectopic endometrial volume was calculated and the pathological condition was observed by HE staining. The levels of vascular endothelial growth factor A(VEGFA), soluble VEGFR(sVEGFR) and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α), interleukin(IL)-1, IL-2 and IL-6 in peritoneal fluid were measured by ELISA. The morphology of macrophages in peritoneal fluid was observed under microscope. The phagocytic capacity and activity of macrophages were detected by colorless malachite green colo-rimetry and MTT colorimetry, respectively. Results Compared with the sham operation group, the volume of endometriosis increased significantly and showed obvious angiogenesis; the expression levels of VEGFA, sVEGFR, TNF-α, IL-1, IL-2 and IL-6 in rats peritoneal fluid were significantly increased(P<0.05). The number and volume of macrophages, and the phagocytic function and activity of macrophages(P<0.05) were all decreased. After the treatment, all the indexes mentioned above were all significantly reversed in the herbal-cake-separated moxibustion and medication groups(P<0.05), and the effects of herbal-cake-separated moxibustion were superior to the gestrinone(P<0.05). Conclusion Herbal-cake-separated moxibustion can inhibit the activation of VEGF/VEGFR, reduce the inflammatory response of EMs rats and enhance the phagocytosis of macrophages.

      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of electroacupuncture(EA) on the expression of myocardial protein kinase B(Akt) and mammalian target of rapamycin(mTOR) in acute myocardial ischemia(AMI) rats. Methods Thirty male SD rats were randomly divided into control, model and EA groups(n=10 in each group). The AMI model was established by occlusion of the descending anterior branch(DAB) of the left coronary artery. EA(2 Hz, 1—2 mA) was applied to bilateral “Shenmen”(HT7) and “Tongli”(HT5) for 20 min, once daily for consecutive 7 days. The electrocardiogram(ECG) of nape-xiphoid lead was recorded for assessing changes of myocardial ischemia. Histopathologic changes of the ischemic myocardial tissue were observed after H.E. staining and ultra-microstructural changes of cardiomyocytes observed by transmission electron microscopy(TEM). The expression levels of Akt, phosphorylated-Akt(p-Akt), mTOR and phosphorylated-mTOR(p-mTOR) in the myocardium were detected by Western blot, followed by calculating the ratios of p-Akt/Akt and p-mTOR/mTOR. Results Following ligature of DAB, the ECG-ST level was significantly increased in the model group in comparison with the control group(P<0.01). At 30 min after treatment, the ECG-ST level decreased significantly compared with the model group(P<0.01). At the end of the 7-day treatment period, the ECG-ST level increased compared with the model group(P<0.05). The levels of myocardial p-Akt and p-mTOR protein expression, and the ratios of p-Akt/Akt and p-mTOR/mTOR were significantly lower in the model group than those in the control group(P<0.01), and considerably increased in the EA group than in the model group(P<0.01). No significant differences were found among the three groups in the expression levels of Akt and mTOR proteins(P>0.05). Outcomes of H.E. staining and TEM showed damage of mitochondria and occurrence of a large number of autophagosomes in myocardiocytes in the model group, which was milder in the EA group. Conclusion EA at HT5 and HT7 can improve AMI in AMI rats, which may be related to its effect in facilitating Akt/mTOR signaling.

      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of acupoint catgut embedment(ACE) on expression of p38 mitogen activated protein kinase(p38 MAPK), intercellular adhesion molecule-1(ICAM-1), interleukin-4(IL-4) and eosinophils(EOS) in lung tissue of asthmatic rats, so as to explore its mechanism underlying improvement of asthma.Methods Forty male Wistar rats were randomly divided into control, model, ACE and dexamethasone(DEX) groups, with 10 rats in each group. The asthmatic model was established by intraperitoneal injection of mixture suspension(1 mL) of ovalbumin(OVA,10%) and 10% Al(OH)_3+ normal saline, followed by inhalation of atomized 1% OVA solution for 30 min, once daily for 2 weeks to trigger occurrence of asthmatic symptoms. The ACE was applied once to “Feishu”(BL13), “Dingchuan”(EX-B1) and “Danzhong”(CV17). Rats of the DEX group were given intraperitoneal injection of DEX once a day for 2 weeks. H.E. staining was used to evaluate histopathological changes of the lung tissue. The relative number of EOS in the bronchoalveolar lavage fluid(BALF) was detected by Wright Giemsa staining. The apoptosis level of EOS in the lung tissue was detected by TUNEL staining. The ultrastructural changes of EOS in the lung tissues were observed by transmission electron microscope(TEM). The expression of p38 MAPK, ICAM-1 and IL-4 mRNAs in the lung tissue was detected by quantitative real-time PCR.Results Findings of optical microscope and TEM showed obvious bronchial deformation and inflammatory cell infiltration, rupture of EOS cell membrane, uneven cytoplasm with swelling and uneven density of eosinophilic granules in EOS of the model group, which was relatively milder in the ACE and DEX groups. Compared with the control group, the EOS number in BALF and the expressions of p38 MAPK, ICAM-1 and IL-4 mRNAs in the lung tissue were significantly increased(P<0.01), and the apoptosis index of EOS in the lung tissue was significantly decreased(P<0.01) in the model group. After intervention, the EOS number in BALF and expression levels of p38 MAPK, ICAM-1 and IL-4 mRNAs in the lung tissue of ACE and DEX groups were significantly decreased(P<0.01, P<0.05), as well as the apoptosis index of EOS in the lung tissue was significantly increased in both ACE and DEX groups(P<0.01) in comparison with the model group. The EOS number in BALF and expression of ICAM-1 mRNA were significantly lower in the DEX group than those in the ACE group(P<0.05).Conclusion Catgut embedding at acupoints may alleviate the airway inflammatory response in asthma rats, which may be related with its effects in down-regulating p38 MAPK signaling, ICAM-1 and IL-4 mRNA expression, reducing the aggregation of EOS, and promoting the apoptosis of EOS.

      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of acupuncture on the expression of cortical brain-derived neurothrophic factor(BDNF) and tyrosine kinase receptor B(TrkB) mRNAs, and phosphorylated extracellular regulated protein kinases(p-ERK) 1/2 and phosphorylated cAMP response element binding protein(p-CREB) proteins in cerebral ischemia(CI) rats, so as to explore its neuroprotective mechanism on ischemic brain tissue. Methods Thirty male SD rats were randomly divided into sham-operation(control), model and acupuncture groups, with 10 rats in each group. The CI model was established by occlusion of the left middle cerebral artery(MCAO) using thread embolization method. Manual acupuncture was applied to“Baihui”(GV20),“Quchi”(LI11),“Neiguan”(PC6),“Hegu”(LI4),“Zusanli”(ST36),“Sanyinjiao”(SP6) and“Shenmai”(BL62) once daily, 6 days a week for 2 weeks. The modified neurological severity score(mNSS) including motor, sensation, balance, and neural reflex functions(0 point, normal; 18 points, maximal deficit) was used to assess the neurological impairment state. The expression levels of p-ERK 1/2 and p-CREB proteins, and BDNF and TrkB mRNAs in the ischemic cerebral cortex were measured by Western blot and real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR, respectively. Results The mNSS was significantly increased on day 1, 7 and 14 in the model group compared with the control group(P<0.01), and evidently decreased on day 14 in the acupuncture group in contrast to the model group(P<0.05). The expression levels of BDNF and TrkB mRNAs, and p-ERK1, p-ERK2 and p-CREB proteins on day 7 and 14 were significantly lower in the model group than in the control group(P<0.001). Following acupuncture treatment, the down-regulated expression levels of the two genes and the three proteins on day 14 were reversed(P<0.001, P<0.05, P<0.01). Conclusion Acupuncture may promote neurological recovery in rats with cerebral ischemia, which may be related to its function in up-regulating the activities of BDNF/TrkB-ERK-CREB signaling in the cerebral cortex on the ischemic side.

      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of electroacupuncture(EA) of “Tianshu”(ST25) and “Dachangshu”(BL25) on the intestinal transit function, expression level of glial cell-derived neurotrophic factor(GDNF) and methylation level of GDNF gene promoter region in colon tissue of rats with slow transit constipation(STC), so as to explore its mechanisms underlying improvement of STC. Methods Male Sprague-Dawley(SD) rats were randomized into control, saline, model and EA groups(n=16 in each group). The STC model was replicated by gavage of compound diphenoxylate suspension(10 mL· kg(-1)· d(-1)· d(-1)) for 28 days. Rats of the saline group received the same dose of normal saline via gavage. EA(2 Hz/15 Hz, 0.1-1 mA) was applied to bila-teral ST25 and BL25 for 15 min, once daily for 14 days. The intestinal transmission function(the intestinal propulsion rate) was assessed by recording the first black grain stool discharge time and the number and weight of the discharged stool grains in 30 min after gavage of the activated carbon suspension(1 mL/100 g, 150 g/L). The score of fecal trait and the weight of stool within 24 h were recorded. The ultrastructural changes of Cajal interstitial cells in the colon tissue were observed by transmission electron microscope. The expression levels of GDNF protein and mRNA in the colon tissue were detected by using Western blot and real-time fluorescent quantitative PCR, separately, and changes of methylation level in the promoter region of GDNF gene detected by using Bisulfite sequencing method. Results Compared with the control group, the time of the 1(-1)) for 28 days. Rats of the saline group received the same dose of normal saline via gavage. The weight and trait score of stool in 24 h, intestinal propulsive rate, and the expression levels of GDNF protein and mRNA were significantly lower in the model group than in the control group(P<0.01, P<0.05). After EA, the weight and trait score of stool within 24 h, intestinal propulsive rate, and the expression levels of GDNF protein and mRNA were significantly increased in the EA group in contrast to the model group(P<0.01,P<0.05). The total CpGs methylation level of GDNF gene in colon tissue was considerably higher in the model group than in the control group(P<0.05), and markedly lower in the EA group than in the model group(P<0.05). No significant differences were found between the control and saline groups in all the above-mentioned indexes(P>0.05). Conclusion EA of back-shu and front-mu acupoints can effectively improve symptoms of constipation and intestinal transport function in STC rats, which may be related to its function in up-regulating the expression of GDNF and down-regulating the methylation level in the promoter region of GDNF gene in colon tissue.

      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of ZhuLian's type Ⅱ inhibition needling technique on sex hormones, insulin resistance and ovarian morphology in rats with polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS), so as to explore its mechanism on regulating endocrine and metabolic dysfunction of PCOS. Methods Twenty-four female SD rats were randomly divided into control, model and ZhuLian acupuncture groups(n=8 in each group). The PCOS model was established by continuous gavage of letrozole combined with high-fat diet. Rats of the ZhuLian acupuncture group were stimulated at “Guanyuan”(CV4) and bilateral “Guilai”(ST29), “Zusanli”(ST36), “Sanyinjiao”(SP6), and “Fenglong”(ST40) by ZhuLian's type Ⅱ inhibition needling technique for 30 min, continuously intervented for 28 days. The body weight was measured before and after modeling and after intervention. The ovarian volume was calculated. HE staining was used to observe the changes of ovarian histology. Plasma levels of luteinizing hormone(LH), follicle stimulating hormone(FSH) and fasting insulin(FINS) were measured by ELISA. LH/FSH ratio and insulin resistance index(HOMA-IR) were calculated. Results After modeling, the rats' body weight and the ovarian volume were increased(P<0.05), and the ovaries showed polycystic changes in the model group compared with the control group. And the FINS level, HOMA-IR, LH content and LH/FSH ratio were significantly increased(P<0.05), while the FSH level was decreased(P<0.05). After the intervention, the rats' body weight and ovarian volume were decreased(P<0.05), and a small number of preantral follicles and more antral follicles were observed under microscope, and the levels of LH, LH/FSH, FINS and HOMA-IR were significantly decreased(P<0.05), while FSH content was increased(P<0.05) in the ZhuLian acupuncture group than in the model group. Conclusion ZhuLian's type Ⅱ inhibition needling technique can improve the endocrine and metabolic disorders in PCOS rats, which may be related to the regulation of endocrine system.

      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of acupuncture at Huatuo Jiaji(EX-B2) combined with core muscle training on motor function of lower limbs, balance function and core muscle in patients with hemiplegia after stroke. Methods A total of ninety-six patients with hemiplegia after stroke were randomly and equally divided into acupuncture, training and combination groups(n=32 cases in each). Patients of the acupuncture group were given acupuncture at the 5(th), 7(th), 7(th), 9(th), 9(th) and 11(th) and 11(th) chest vertebrae, and the 1(th) chest vertebrae, and the 1(st) to 5(st) to 5(th) lumbar vertebrae of EX-B2. Patients in the training group received core muscle training. In the combination group, both acupuncture treatment and core muscle training were given to the patients. The treatment was conducted once daily, 5 times a week for 4 weeks. The Fugl-Meyer lower limb motor function score(FMA), Berg balance function scale(BBS), Barthel index(BI) and surface electromyography(sEMG) of the erector spinae and rectus abdominis were evaluated before and after treatment and during the follow-up period. Results Compared with the scores before the treatment, the FMA, BBS and BI scores were obviously increased after the treatment and during the follow-up period in the three groups respectively(P<0.05). After treatment and during the follow-up period, the root mean square(RMS) of erector spinae and rectus abdominis in the sitting position flexed 45° and extended 30° on the healthy and affected side were higher than those of the same side before treatment in the three groups(P<0.05). The therapeutic effect of combination of acupuncture at EX-B2 and core muscle training was obviously superior to that of single acupuncture or single training(P<0.05). Before the treatment, the RMS of erector spinae and rectus abdominis in the sitting position flexed 45° and extended 30° on the affected side were lower than those of the healthy side in the three groups(P<0.05), while there was no significant difference between the RMS of the erector spinae and rectus abdominis of the affected side and the healthy side in the comprehensive group after treatment and during the follow-up period(P>0.05). Conclusion Acupuncture at EX-B2 combined with core muscle training can significantly improve the balance function and lower limb motor function of patients with hemiplegia after stroke.

      摘要:Objective To investigate the clinical effect of core stability training combined with acupuncture in the treatment of chronic nonspecific low back pain(CLBP). Methods Seventy-five CLBP patients were randomly divided into experimental group(n=38) and control group(n=37) according to a random number table. Patients in the control group were required to perform core stability training, whereas those in the experimental group received core stability training combined with fire needle acupuncture, once every two days, three times per week, for four successive weeks. The Oswestry disability index(ODI), visual analogue scale(VAS), lumbar muscular endurance index, clinical efficacy, as well as average electromyographic(AEMG), root mean square(RMS), median frequency(MF), and average median frequency(AMF) values during multifidus muscle contraction in the two groups before and after the treatment were compared. Results After treatment, ODI, VAS, MF, and AMF of the two groups were lower than those before the treatment(P<0.01), while the lumbar static and dynamic muscular endurance, AEMG, and RMS values were higher(P<0.01). The ODI, VAS, MF, and AMF of the experimental group significantly declined as compared with those of the control group(P<0.01), whereas the lumbar static and dynamic muscular endurance, AEMG, and RMS values were elevated(P<0.01). The total effective rate of the experimental group was 97.14%(34/35), higher than 85.71%(30/35) of the control group(P<0.01). Conclusion Core stability training combined with acupuncture effectively enhances lumbar muscular endurance, improves electromyographic signals of multifidus muscle and lumbar function, and relieves pain, implying the good efficacy of such combined therapy in treating CLBP.

      摘要:Objective To explore the clinical effect of Pinggan Jiangya decoction combined with penetrating needling at Baihui(GV20) in a period of day from 7 am to 9 am in the treatment of grade 1 and 2 essential hypertension(EH). Methods A total of 150 cases of grade 1 and 2 EH patients were randomized into an observation group and a control group, 75 cases in each group. In the control group, Pinggan Jiangya decoction was prescribed for oral administration one dose a day, while in the observation group, on the basis of the treatment as the control group, penetrating needling was exerted at GV20 once daily. The treatment duration was 8 weeks. Before and after treatment, the TCM syndrome score, 24 h average systolic blood pressure(24 h ASBP), 24 h average diastolic blood pressure(24 h ADBP), 24 h average pulse pressure difference(24 h PP), morning blood pressure surge(MBPS), 24 h SBP variability(24 h SBPV), 24 h DBP variability(24 h DBPV), serum levels of 5-hydroxytryptamine(5-HT) and melatonin(MT) were compared in the patients of the two groups. The clinical therapeutic effect was observed in the two groups. Results After the treatment, in the self-comparison of each group, the scores of headache, vertigo, backache, soft knees, tinnitus, 24 h ASBP, 24 h ADBP, 24 h PP, MBPS, 24 h SBPV and 24 h DBPV in the two groups were lower than those before treatment(P<0.01), and the above indexes in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.01). The level of serum 5-HT after the treatment was lower than that of before the treatment(P<0.01), while the level of MT was higher than that of before the treatment(P<0.01) in both two groups, and the level of 5-HT in the observation group was lower than that of the control group, while the level of MT was higher than that of the control group(P<0.01). The total effective rate of the observation group was 93.3%(70/75), better than 76.0%(57/75) of the control group(P<0.01). Conclusion Pinggan Jiangya decoction combined with penetrating needling at GV20 in a period of day from 7 am to 9 am can regulate the levels of serum MT and 5-HT, effectively reduce blood pressure, improve blood pressure variability, control morning peak blood pressure, and has a remarkable effect in the treatment of grade 1 and 2 EH.

      摘要:Objective To analyze the compatible rules of acupoints in the treatment of migraine with acupuncture and moxibustion based on complex network technique so as to provide a reference for composing best acupoint recipes. Methods Clinical papers about acupuncture treatment of migraine published from January of 2010 to October of 2020 were searched from Chinese and English databases including CNKI, Wanfang, VIP and Pubmed by using keywords of acupuncture, moxibustion and migraine. According to our inclusive and exclusive criteria, the collected papers were screened out to set up a database. The SPSS Modeler 18.0 software was used to analyze the association rules of acupoints, and the Gephi 0.9.2 software was used to conduct a complex network analysis about the compatibility rules of acupoints and their application characteristics of moxibustion and needling methods in the treatment of migraine. Results In the end, 572 articles meeting the conclusive criteria were selected, and a total of 1 091 acupoint prescriptions for the treatment of migraine were extracted, including 230 acupoints with a total appea-rance frequency of 7 902. Those acupoints most frequently used were mainly attributed to the Gallbladder Meridian, with Fengchi(GB20) being the highest in the cumulative frequency. The association rule analysis showed that the highest supporting degree acupoints was GB20-Taiyang(EX-HN5). The highest levels of confidence were EX-HN5-Touwei(ST8), GB20-Baihui(GV20), and GB20-ST8. The analysis of complex network topology showed that a total of 17 acupoints including GB20, EX-HN5, Shuaigu(GB8), Taichong(LR3), GV20, Ashi point, etc. were the core node acupoints for acupuncture treatment of migraine. Conclusion In the treatment of migraine, the acupoints selected are mainly distributed in the head region. When the specific acupoints chosen, the five Shu acupoints, Yuan(source) acupoints and the confluent acupoints of eight meridians are frequently used. In terms of composing acupoint recipes, the acupoints in the local and distant part of the body are often used in combination. These outcomes may have a certain guiding significance for clinical treatment of migraine.

    • Discussion on methods for locating Xuehai (SP10) acupoint

      摘要:The position of Xuehai(SP10) is clear, but its locating method is vague, resulting in the disunity of clinical application and even possibly affecting the curative effect. Also, when learning the meridians and acupoints, the beginners are often confused by this issue possibly due to:(1) when the bone-length proportional measurement combined with anatomic symbol(combination method) was adopted, it is not clear that the patient should take a posture of knee extension or knee flexion;(2) when the combination method used, it is difficult to find the highest point of muscle eminence in the case of patient with thin vastus medialis muscle and fuzzy body surface projection;(3)the simple method for locating SP10 is widely used at present, can it replace the combination method to locate this acupoint accurately?Guided by these questions, we, in the present paper, reviewed the rela-ted textbooks, works and other literature to explore the standard position of SP10, and the standard and simple methods for locating this acupoint. Comprehending various opinions, we hold that SP10 should be positioned under the extended knee posture, then, the acupoint's horizontal ordinate “2 cun superior to the medial end of the base of the patella” is determined by using bone-length proportional measurement to measure 2 cun from the bottom to the tip of the patella. Then, the body surface anatomic symbol method is used, when, the patient is asked to stretch the leg and contract the vastus medialis muscle, the highest spot of muscular eminence is the SP10. If the patient's muscular protuberance is not obvious, the middle line between the medial and lateral margins of the vastus medialis muscle is used as the vertical ordinate, and its intersection with the abscissa is SP10. The simple method is easy in operation and has a reference value, but may frequently produce errors, hence, it is not a substitution for the combination method.
