摘要:This paper introduces some current advances on the methodology and physiological mechanism of gastroelectrical activity. Not only the exci- tement but also the motility in the gastrointestinal tract can be exhibited by recording the gastroelectrical activity. Above all the surface electrode recording of the gastroelectrical activity is an untraumatic method fitted in with clinical applications. Gastroelectrical activity has become a bio- electrical index useful in studying physiology, pharmacology and patho- physiology of the digestive tract. Some workers observed from the tests in animal and human of acupunc- ture research displayed as follows: There are double regulatory effect of acupuncture on gastroelectrical activity, and the relationship between the vegetative nervous system and acupuncture effects. The effects of acupunc- ture at Zusanli upon gastroelectrical activity function and their relative characteristics, and the relations between the channels and Zang-Fu organs have a relative specificity. The main component of the afferent pathway of acupuncture is the somatic nerve. But the blood vessels and their par- ticular nervous system can also take part in it. From the above mentioned result, it might be shown that the higher brain structures such as nucleus raphe, hypothalamus, Caudete nucleus aroused by acupuncture are important components in the double modulated effect of acupuncture.

摘要:Jaw opening reflex (JOR) induced by tooth pulp stimulation and re- corded electromyographically from the ipsilateral digastric muscle was studied on 61 rabbits under light anesthesia. Electro-stimulation of ipsila- teral superficial radial nerve initiated an immediate and marked suppres- sion of this reflex which showed two phases: 1. Early phase, the JOR was suppressed as soon as the electro-stimula- tion was started which attained its maximal effect within half a minute and persisted for 2.5-5 minutes. This effect could not be reversed by na- loxone, but was abolished after decerebration rostral to superior colliculi of midbrain. 2. Late phase, prolonged moderate suppression of JOR was noticed under continuous electrostimulation which persisted even after cessation of stimulation for 5 minutes. This effect could be partially reversed by naloxone and was abolished after ablation of diencephalon. It is thus concluded that the early phase of the suppressive effect on tooth pulp induced JOR by electroacupuncture involves the central mechanism located rostral to the superior colliculi of midbrain, while its late phase is mediated through diencephalon in which the endogenous morphine like sub- stance might be involved.
摘要:In 130 cases of subtotal gastrectomy under acupuncture anaesthesia, we performed electro-acupuncture induction to elevate electro-acupuncture tolerance threshold, and observed the relationship between it and visceral traction reaction in the course of operation. 1. 50 cases in the control group were not induced to elevate their electro-acupuncture tolerance thresholds (the average value was 3.14±1.23). 80 cases in the experimental group were induced to elevate their electro- acupuncture tolerance thresholds. The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(p<0.01). These results indicated that induc- tion might elevate electro-acupuncture tolerance threshold. 2. The incidence of visceral traction reaction in experimental group greatly declined as compared with that in the control group. X2 test showed statistical significance(p<0.01). These results indicated that there was a direct relationship between the incidence of visceral traction reaction and the level of electro-acupuncture tolerance threshold, and therefore visceral traction reaction might be inhibited by elevating electro-acupuncture tole- rance threshold.
