      摘要:The influence of the electro-acupuncturing Neiguan point on ischemic myocardium has been studied through the analysis of adenine nucleotides and two components of monophasic action potential . The experiment was carried out on the rabbits with ischemia of the left ventricular wall. These animals were dividied into two groups . the ischemia and ischemia add EA (EA). The animals Performed false operation was as normal control group.The results suggest that ATP and ADP of ischemic myocardia were greatly lowered and electrical disturbanse appeared . Electro acupunturing . Neiguan point could obvously an1eliorate the above conditions. Namely the levels of ATP and ADP in marginal area of ischemic myocardia in EA group was much higher than those in ischemic group, and the electrical stability was improved as well.

      摘要:The evidence has been supplied by our preceding study that electro-acupuncturing Neiguan point could ameliorate the electrical disturbance and inhibite the ATP depletion of ischemic myocardium.This study was to compare the different effect between electro-acupuncturing Tianquan and Neiguan points. The experiment was also carried out on the model of myocardial ischemia of rabbit. The methods of analysis of adenine nucleotides and detection of MAPA and MAPD50 were the same as. preceding experiments.The result showed electro-acupuncturing Tianquan point could also decrease the ATP depletion and ameliorate the electrical disturbance of ischemic myocardium , but the effect of Tiantluan was weaker than that of Neiguan point. This study indicated that the selection of acupoints in clinic has its rationale, it could be used to explain why Neiguan point is often used as the main acupoint to treat the coronary heart disease , but Tianquan point is seldom used . The study also supplied the experimental base of using meridian theory to guide the clinical practice.

      摘要:Effects of electroacupuncture(EA) and electrical stimulation of the somatosensory area II(SII) of the cerebral cortex on contents of plasma cortisol in cats were investigated in order to probe if SII is involved in the regulative effect on adrenal cotical functions.Adult cats were randomly divided into four groups: control, electrical stimulation of SII and EA plus stimulation of SII. EA was applied at Huantiao and Yanglingquan POints on the right side for 30 min. Electrical stimulation was given on the SII surface of the left side. The content of plasma cortisol were measured with radioimmunoassay.Results showed that EA, electrical stimulation of SII and EA plus electrical stimulation of SII produced a smillar affect on the content of plasma cortisone, suggesting that EA and electrical stimulation of SII have a common central mechanism, by which adrenal cortical functions are regulated. SII is involved possibly in the regulative effect of EA.

      摘要:Thirty rabbits, weighing 2. 5 - 3.0kg, were divided into three groups of 10 rabbits each. 10% HRP 50 - 80μl was injected into "Guan Yuan Shu" point and "Pang Guang Shu" point and 10% HRP 100 - 150μl injected into the urinary bladder. The animals were survived for 3 - 4 days, using 1% paraformaldehyde solution in phosphate buffer to perfuse their hearts, then take the thoracic ganglia,lombar ganglia and their spinal cord, which were made frozen sections of 40μm and TMB method reaction. The segmental distribution of afferent neurons of point and urinary bladder was observed under the light microscope.The segmental distribution of afferent neurons of the "GuanYuan Shu" point was L1-S5, the "Pang Guang Shu" Point was L2 - S5, urinary bladder was T12 - L1 - CO1. These afferent nerve fibers proected into Ⅲ- Ⅳ lamina.The experimental studies show that the afferent neurons of "Guan Yuan Shu", "Pang Guang Shu"POint and urinary bladder are mutual intersection and overlap in the spinal ganglia of L2 - S5, extending to 9 segments. These afferent fibers converge to the Ⅲ- Ⅳ lamina in spinal cord.The mutual intersection and convergence of these fibers may be the morphological foundation of regulating the function of urinary bladder with acupuncture at "Guan Yuan Shu", "Pang Guang Shu" point.The results may elucidate the mechanism of correlation between acupoint and viscera too.

      摘要:Study on the segmental supply of the sensory neurons and the origin of sympathetic postganglionic neurons innervating the meridian relative area is very helpful in elucidating the relation of meridian and viscera, in directing the clinical practice, and in studying on the essences of meridian. The distributions of cardiac afferent nerve have been more reported, but little is reported about the segmental nerve distribution over heart and pericardium meridian relative areas. In order to observe the orgins of innervation in the heart and pericardium meridian relative areas, we injected the 2o% HRP solution into some points of these two meridians in the upper extremities of l8 rabbits and lO Wistar rats. The results obtained were as follows. (1) The sensory labelled cells in these meridian relative areas were found between C5 and T2 spinal ganglions. The labelled cells innervating heart meridian relative area were comparatively concentrated in C7 - T1 spinal ganglions, and the labelled cells innervating the pericardium meridian relative area were comparatively concentrated in C6 - T2 spinal ganglions. These results indicated that the origins of these two meridian sensory innervation were roughly the same to the cardiac SegYnental innervation but had a relative differene. (2) The nember of the large labelled cells innervating these rneridian relative areas was evidently less than that of middle and small labelled cells. These resuIts show that the main afferent fibers distributing these two meridian areas are thinner nerve fibers, which innervate mainly vessels. It is suggested that the vessels and the nervous apparatus distributing vessels play an important role in somatic PSM. (3) The labelled sympathetic postganglionic neurons were mainly located ln the first two ganglions of the thoracic sympathetic trunk. This distribution was similar to the cardiac distribution of sympathetic Postganglionic neurons. These may be the therapeutic mechanism of acupuncture at the points of these meridians in the cardiac diseases.

      摘要:The origins of AChE-containing proections in the cingulate areas were studied by tracing method of AChE combinfng with HRP. Our results as follows: Some AChE-positive neurons in the ventral part of the vertical limb of the diagonal band(VDB) proective to the areas 24, 25, 23 and 29 of cingulate cortex. Some AChE-positive neurons in the horizontal limb of the diagonal band (HDB) projective to the areas 24 and 23 of cingulate cortex. The areas 24 and 32 of cingu1ate cortex receive the proection of AChE-positive neurons from the dorsal raphe nucleus. Some AChE-positive neurons in the locus coerleus proective to the areas 24, 25, 23 and 29 of cingulate cortex. Some AChE-positive neurons in the claustrum projective to the areas 24, 25 and 23 of cingulate cortex. The area 25 of cingulate cortex receives the proection of AChE-positive neurons from the lateral hypothalamic nucleus. The area 32 of cingulate cortex receives the projection of AChE-positive neurons from the ventral tegmental area.

      摘要:The influences of EA and iontophoretic ACh on nociceptive responses of Pf neurons following topical application of HC-3 at Sml were recorded extracellularly by multi-microelectrodes in rats. It was found that EA could inhibit the nociceptive responses of Pf neurons; the inhibition could be eliminated by topical application of HC-3 at SmI; iontophoretic ACh could also induce the inhibition, which was similar to the effect of EA obtained before HC-3 application at SmI. The results indicate that EA can inhibit the nociceptive responses of Pf neurons through SmI releasing ACh.

    • Inhibiting Effects of Tianrong Acupoint Therapy on Mast Cells of Dura Mater

      摘要:Mast cells may participate in neurogenic inflammation(NI) relative to migraine. The effects of Tianrong acupoint therapy on unilateral degranulation of mast cells in rat dura mater following elcetrical stimulation of trigeminal ganglion were evaluated by transmission electron microscopy. We found that Tianrong acuPOint injection with saline and Quchi acuPoint injection with prednisolonum inhibited effectively the degranulation of mast cells in rat dura mater induced by electrical stimulation of trigeminal ganglion, but it was much weaker than T1anrong acupoint injection with prednisolonum. The results provided the evidence that Tianrong acupoint therapy could inhibit the NI on the affected side.

    • The Effect of Naltrexone on Immunomodulation of EA

      摘要:We have used electroacupuncture(EA) to stimulate BALb/c mouse at bilateral "Cheng Fu" points (BL 36) to study opioid mechanism of EA on immunomodulation. When the mouse was stimulated by EA for 30 min., We found that it could potentlatte the functions of splenic lymphocyte proliferative response to ConA and induction of IL-2 production at the time 3 hr after EA treatment. This effect of EA was blocked by pretreated with opioid antagonist Naltrexone (NTX, 15mg/kg, i. P. ); however the modulatory effects of EA on serum LZM, IgG were not affected by NTX.These suggest that the opiate receptors may be play an important role in mediating the enhanced effects of EA on cell immunoresponses, specially T-lymphocyte immune function, but the other several immune responses such as serum LZM, IgG seem not to be so.

      摘要:The effects of moxibustion and its combination with immunomodulators (IM) on biological properties of tumor cells of mlce were studied. The results showed that, 1) moxibustion, especially its combination with IM had remarkable effect lowering the binding capacity of HAC tumor cells to some lectins, 2) both moxibustion and its combination with IM had the effect reducing C-erbB-2 protein expression to a certain degree, the latter was statistical significance, 3) PCNA content, AgNOR counts and cell phase in both groups were changed to a certain degree, but without statistical significance.These results indicated that moxibustion and its combination with IM had some influencing effecty on some biological properties of tumor cells, and this might be one of the reasons for the antitumor effect of acupuncture and moxibustion or their combination with medicines.

      摘要:Temperature is an important index to reflect the level of energy metabolism, and the temperature of the deeper tissue, relatively speaking, is stabler than the skin temperature. In order to know the characteristics of energy metabolism of the acupoint, the non-acupoint on the meridian and the contrast point, the authors applied the advanced temperature sensor which the sensitive part to temperature is only its tip and the precision thermometric instrument to determine the deep temperature of them. 200 points of 10 rabbits were detected, and the detected depthes were repectively 0.5 cm and 1 cm under the Subculaneus layer. The results show that the ternperature of the acupoints and the non-acupoints on the meridian is higher than that of the contral points and the difference is of statistics significance, and the temperature difference is also obvious at the different depthes of the detected points, i. e., the temperature of 1 cm depth is higher than that of 0. 5 depth, but the temperature difference between the acupoints of the left and right sides which have same name is not obvious. The results suggest that the level of energy metabollsm of the acupoints and the non-acupoints on the meridian is higher than that of the contral points, and it is of physiological significance to apply the manipulation of acupuncture or retain the needle in certain depth of acupoint, and the acupoints of two sides which have same name have a good symmetric relationship in energy metabolism.

    • Relationship of Electron-magnetic Standing Wave with Acupuncture Meridian

      摘要:The statistical role of body conduction measurement, especial the wonderful self similarity, e. g.holographic phenomena is discussed from the beginning of well known acupuncture POint and meridian and it is found that the body resistance measured on skin actually comes from the distribution of the internal electric field in the human body. The non-equilibrium of this electric field comes from the overlap of the electrion-magnetic standing waves. In other word, the acupuncture meridian.found by ancient Chinese is the main part of invisible three-dimensional interference picture.
