      摘要:The afferent projections to the central superior raphe nuclus' (CS) in the rat were investigated bymeans of HRP retrograte tracting method. 3% WGA-HRP 0. 05-0. 1μl was injected into the CS ineach of 11 rats. The labeled cells were found in the medial part of lateral habenular nucleus, posteriorhypothalarnic area l lateral subnucleus of interpeduncalar nucleus, dorsal raphe nucleus, periaqueductalgray matter dorsal paramedial nucleus, preposital hypoglossal nucleus, dorsal paragiganto-cellularnucleus. magnum raphe nucleus, and fastigatum of cerebellum- The results provide morphological ba-sis for researching function of the CS in acupuncture anesthesia.

      摘要:The influence of intrathecal injection of Neurotensin (NT) and Anti NT serum (ANTS) on painthreshold, and electroacupuncture(EA) anslgesia in the rat was investigated. The tail-flick inducedby potassium iontophoresis was used to measure the pain threshold. The increase of pain thresholdwas observed within 100 min, after NT injection(2ug), and it was more effective than that of theACSF injection (P<0. 01 )- The NT acminstration could also enhance the EA analgesia. On the contrary, the pain threshold was decresed in ANTS group as compared with that of ACSF control group.The ANTS administration could decreased the role of EA analgesia. Our data show that NT in spinalcord rnay play an importment role in the EA analgesia

      摘要:Neuronal responses in thalamic nucleus parafasciculus (Pf) to microiontophoretic rnorphine wereexamined in 20 wistar rats after lesion of SmI. Extracellular recordings were rnade with five-barreledglass microelectrodes. The results showed that the spontaneous responses of Pf neurons were not statistically changed (n= 11, P>0.05), but their nociceptive responses were attenuated at 0- 8 min utes after iontophoretic morphine (n=11, P<0. 05 ). There were statistically significant differencesin nociceptive responses between morphine and saline groups at 0-8 minutes after iontophoresis. Theresults suggest that morphine may be involved in corticofugal modulation of nociceptive responses inthalamic Pf neurons.

    • Effect of Brain Somatostatin on Electroacupuncture Analgesia of Rat

      摘要:The purpose of this study was to verify the role of sornatostatin (Sorn) of braln in analgesia ofelectroacupuncture (EA). Intracerebroventricular (icv) injection of Som caused a more marked elevation of pain threshold and of EA analgesic effect, but the activity of Ca2--ATPase in hippocampuswas significantly decreased; The Som and GABA levels in hippocampus and brain stem were decreased by F:A analgesia. 'The Som in hippocampus and brain stem were obviously depleted by icv injection of cycteamine, but without any change of pain thresold and analgesic effect of EA. These re-sults indicated that the exogenous Som of brain potentiated the analgesic effect of EA, however. thedecrease of endogenous of some brain regions took part in the process of EA analgesia.

      摘要:The basic level of methionine-enkephalin (MEK) in rat medulla oblongata plus Pons was thehighest at 05: 00 o'clock and the lowest at 23: 00. In both the hypothalamus and the striatum at 05: 00 MEK levles were respectively higher.than those at 11: 00, 17: 00 amd 23: 00. In both thehippocarnpus and the midbrain at 05: 00 and 23: 00 they were respectively higher than those at 11:00 and 17: 00. In the cortex it was higher at 05: 00 than those at 11: 00 and 17: 00Electroacupuncture (EA) at 05: 00 increased the MEK content in the tnedulla oblongata pluspons and decreased the MEK content in the hypothalamus. EA at 11: 00 produced decreases of MEKconcentrations in the medulla oblongata plus pons and the midbrain and increases of MEK content inthe cortex. At 17: 00 it increased the MEK level in the hypothalamus and at 23: 00 it reduced thelevel of MEK in the hippocampus.The results suggest that there are very marked circadian rhythrns in the MEK basic levels of thesix discrete hrain regions observed and EA at different hours produces different effects on brain MEKlevels.

      摘要:Electrical stimulation of Zusanli (ST36 ) point and Trigeminal Sensory'Nucleus (TSN) as well asmicroelectroderecording from the laminae II - VI of the lumbar spinaldorsal horn have been used onthe pentobarbitalanesthetized rats, finding and identifying l42 spinal neurons responding to the stimulation of both ST36 and TSN. Among them, 29 responded antidromically to TSN 1 the others, responded orthodromically to TSN; These neurons distributed in the L2-S1 segments, the most in theL3- L6segments, and in the laminae IlI-V, occasionally in the laminae II and Vl in the spinal dorsa1horn, the IMTM andWDR neurons were 50% respectively of them. The results indicate that (i) single spinsal dorsal horn neurons receives ST36 afferent input and then conveys it to theTSN; (ii) somespinal dorsal horn neurons receive, in turn, innervation frotn TSN; (iii) The convergence and integration berween ST36 and TSN inputs might occur in the spinal dorsal horn neurons.

      摘要:The study was carried out on the animal model of traumatic shock which induced by ligating bilateral hind legs. The contents of enkephalins in-hippocampus, striatum, hypothalarnus. diencephalonand brain stem were determined with radioimmunoassay. The results show that: (1 ) when traumatic shock occurs. the contents of Met-enkephalin are not obvious change in the above 5 brain regions,and also not significant change after acupuncture; (2) there is a tendency to increase the content ofLeu-enkephalin in each brain region described above of shock animal, while it is decreased in hypothalarnus after acupuncture. The result suggests that the occurrence of traumatic shock may be related tothe functfonal activities of Leu-enkephalinergic system in the central nervous systern; the anti-shock ofacupuncture may be through a decrease in the level of central Leu-enkephalin to improve micro-circu-lation and raise the blood pressure

      摘要:The expcrimental rats were randomly divided into three groups: L e. controI group; endotoxicshock group (the model of endotoxic shock was induced by intravenous administration of E. Coli endotoxin, 16mg/kg ): and electroacupuncture (EA ) group (" Renzhong" or ' Zusanli)' acupolnt wasstirnulated for 1o minutes at l hr after injection of endotoxin)- The experimental rats were decapitated at 75 minutes after injccting endotoxin. Their livers were taken out for cryostat section - and histo-chemical observation. The results were as follows: 1 ) The glycogen in the hepatic cells of endotoxicshocked rats were alrnost completely depleted- The activities of SDH Mg++u ATPase. G-6-Pase and5'Nase were decreased: especially the activities of 5'-Nase 1n the biliary canallcull and sinusoids wereapparently rec1uced. 2 ) The content of hepatic glycogen in EA group was increased, but some of themwas still dePleted. The activities of SDH, Mg++-ATPase and G-6-Pase were slightly increased ascompared wlth that of the endotoxic shock group. The activity of 5'uNase was obviously increased afte r EA. The prelin1inary results indicated that EA at "Renzhong" or IlZusanliI' acupoint of rats withndotoxic shock mlght play certain role on lmproving the hepatic metabolism and prornoting the rnembrane transport action

      摘要:Clinical subjects were the patients in whom cholecystectomy and choledochotorny were performedwith T tube drainage. Four groups of acupoints were established according to different point prescriptions. Under the strict control of experimental conditions and fixation of electrical acupuncture stimulation parameters- the changes of hepatic bile output were observed in five different stages before.during and after acupuncture, and compared with those in control group not treated by acupuncture.The results showed that electrical acupuncture of Ganshu (Back Shu point ) (GB 18 ) and Qimen(Front-Mu point ) (LI 14 )could obviously promote the secretion of hepatic bile. The immediate effectwas superior to that in other groups. ln a group not treated by acupuncture - hepatic bile output gradually decreased as time went on.In animal experiment. a rnodel of bile pigrnent lithogenesis was rnade in gulnea plg. The' animalswere randomly divided into five groups of control, sirnultaneous acupuncture' simultaneous moxihustion, re-acupuncture after one week and re-acupuncture after two weeks. The results indicated thatelectrical acupuncture or moxibustion of relevant acupoints such as Ganshu (GB 18) and Qimen (LI14 ) could really very effectively inhihit the animal lithogenesis caused by lithogenous food. A tendencywas observed towards that the earller acupuncture was perforrned, the better the preventive effect onlithogenesis. In the influence on lithogenous bile, both acupuncture and moxibustion could reduce thecontents of biliary total bilirubin and free bilirubin and the activity of hiliary 8-glycuronidase.Acupuncture also produced an effect in lowering hepatic 8-glycurouidase but moxibustion didh't. Hepatohistological observation showed that lithogenous food could also cause fatty degeneration of Iiver.and moxlbustion could markedly inhibit its progress. Both acupuncture and rnoxibustion didn't remarkably infIuence the content of serurn cholesterol.

      摘要:The experimental Wistar rats were divided into two groups. the acupuncture group and the controI group. Stress-induced gastric ulcer models were established by immersion of restrained rats in water. The electroacupuncture was able to protect stress rat from stress induced peptic ulcer. The resuItsindicated that electroacupuncture protecting rat from stress uleration was relevant to enhancing gastricmucosal barrler - stahilizing gastric mast cell and inhihiting the gastrin Ievels in gastric rnucous.

      摘要:In order to investigate the role of acupuncture in the regulation of cellular immune function. weobserved acupuncture therapy affecting the levels of T lymphocytes subgroup (CD3-, CD4 +. CD8+ ),soluble interleukin-2 receptor (SIL-2R) and beta-endorphine (β-EP ) in the peripheral blood of patientswith malignant tumors. Here was used the random-gioland method, the patients were divided into agroup treated by acupuncture (acup. group, 20 cases ) and a control group (20 cases ). The acup. groupwas treated using points PC6, L14, ST36. RN4 and location of symptometic points bilaterally, onetreatment of 30 min daily for 10 days. The results showed that there were increased levels of CD3+,CD3+ percentage. CD4+ /CD8+ ratio and radioimmunoassay of &EP in blood plasma, a decreased levelof SIL-2R after acup. The statistical significance was found to be remarkable (P<0.01 ), so has a notable difference, the correlation analysis indicated: (1 ) there was a positive correlation between β-EPand T lyrnphocytes subgroups; (2 ) a negtive correlation between β-EP and SIL-2R, so did it betweenT subgroups and SlI--2R. Our results showed that β-EP enhanced immune function of patients by increased T lymphocyte subgroups, reduced SIL-2R, and this action of β-EP may be mediated by opioid receptor. The above mentioned results presented evidence that there was an adJusting-network of immuusl. in the body, through this way, acup. therapy can heighten the cellular immune function of patients, providing a beneficial effect in anti-cancer treatment.
