      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of acupuncture stimulation of "Taichong"(LR 3),"Qimen"(LR 14),etc.on hepatic platelet-derived growth factor(PDGF) signal pathway activity at the protein and mRNA levels in hepatic fibrosis rats.Methods Forty-six SD rats were randomly divided into control(10 rats),model(12 rats),acupuncture(12 rats) and non-acupoint(12 rats) groups.Hepatic fibrosis model was established by intraperitoneal injection of mixture solution of 50% CCl4 and olive oil [1∶1,3 times on the 1st week(W),twice/W thereafter for 5 more weeks].During modeling,acupuncture stimulation of "Taichong"(LR 3),"Qimen"(LR 14),"Ganshu"(BL 18) and "Zusanli"(ST 36) was conducted simultaneously.At the end of the experiments,all the rats were sacrificed for collecting their liver and blood samples,followed by separation of the hepatic stellate cells(HSCs).ELISA,Western blot and Real-time quantitative PCR techniques were used to detect the content of serum PDGF and expression levels of PDGF-β receptor(PDGF-β R),extracellular signal-regulated kinase(ERK1/2),c-jun N-terminal kinase(JNK) and P 38 genes and proteins of HSCs,respectively.Results Compared to the control group,serum PDGF content,and expression levels of PDGF-β R mRNA and protein,ERK mRNA and protein and P 38 protein of HSCs in the model group were upregulated significantly(P<0.01,P<0.05).In comparison with the model group,serum PDGF content,and the expression levels of PDGF-β R mRNA and protein,ERK mRNA and protein of HSCs in the acupuncture group were down-regulated appa-rently(P<0.05,P<0.01).No significant differences were found between the acupuncture and non-acupoint groups in serum PDGF content and between the model group and non-acupoint group in the expression levels of PDGF-β R mRNA and protein,ERK mRNA and protein,JNK protein and P 38 protein of HSCs,as well as between the model group and acupuncture group in the expression levels of JNK protein and P 38 protein of HSCs(P>0.05).Conclusion Acupuncture intervention can effectively down-regulate serum PDGF content,and expression levels of PDGF-β R mRNA and protein,ERK mRNA and protein of HSCs in liver fibrosis rats,which may contribute to its effect in improving liver fibrosis through down-regulating PDGF signal pathway activity.

      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of electroacupuncture(EA) at different acupoints on the expression of gamma aminobutyric(GABA) receptor(R) subunit genes in the cervical spinal cord in rats with thyroid regional inflammatory pain so as to analyze its analgesic mechanism for thyroid surgery.Methods A total of 50 Wistar rats were randomized into control,model,Futu(LI 18),Hegu(LI 4)-Neiguan(PC 6,LI 4-PC 6),Zusanli(ST 36)-Yanglingquan(GB 34,ST 36-GB 34) groups,with 10 rats in each group.Thyroid regional pain model was established by subcutaneous injection of 2.5% formalin(100 μL).Ten minutes after modeling,EA(2 Hz/15 Hz,1 mA) was applied to LI 18,LI 4-PC 6 and ST 36-GB 34 for 30 min,respectively.The animals' face-grooming(FG) times in 5 min and thermal pain threshold(paw withdrawal latency,PWL) were recorded.The expression of GABAAR,GABABR 1,and GABABR 2 genes in the cervical 1-3 segments of the spinal cord 80 min after modeling was detected by using reversed transcription-polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR).Histological changes of the tissues of the thyroid region were observed by using H.E.staining.Results After subcutaneous injection of formalin,the animals' FG times in 5 min were increased considerably and the thermal pain threshold was decreased obviously in the model group(P<0.05).Concomitantly,the expression levels of GABABR 1,and GABABR 2 genes of the cervical spinal cord were upregulated significantly in the model group(P<0.05),and GABAAR expression was increased slightly(P>0.05).Compared with the model group,the FG times in 5 min in the LI 18 and LI 4-PC 6 groups at 40 min and 70 min after modeling were decreased significantly(P<0.05),and their thermal pain threshold values were increased markedly(P<0.05).The expression levels of GABAB R 1 mRNA,GABAB R 2 mRNA and GABAA R mRNA were significantly higher in the LI 18 and LI 4-PC 6 groups than in the model group(P<0.05).The expression level of GABABR 1 mRNA of the ST 36-GB 34 group was obviously higher than that of the model group(P<0.05).The inflammatory cells in the formalin-injected thyroid region were relatively fewer in the LI 18 and LI 4-PC 6 groups than in the model group.Conclusion Both EA of LI 18 and LI 4-PC 6 can significantly suppress formalin-injection induced pain reactions in the thyroid region,which may be closely associated with its effects in upregulating expression levels of cervico-spinal GABABR 1mRNA,GABABR 2 mRNA and GABAAR mRNA,and reduce regional inflammatory reactions in the thyroid region.

      摘要:Objective To observe the influence of electroacupuncture(EA) intervention on liver function and retinol binding protein 4(RBP 4) in nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD) rats,so as to study its mechanisms underlying improving liver function.Methods A total of 44 SD rats were randomly allocated to normal control,model,EA and non-acupoint groups,with 11 rats in each group.NAFLD model was established by feeding the rats with high glucose and high fat forage for 5 weeks.EA(2 Hz,1.5 V,15 min) was applied to unilateral "Fenglong"(ST 40),"Zusanli"(ST 36),"Sanyinjiao"(SP 6) and "Taichong"(LR 3),once daily for 4 weeks.Serum RBP 4 content was assayed by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA),and serum glutamic-oxaloacetic transaminase(AST),alanine aminotransferase(ALT),total cholesterol(TC),and triglycerides(TG) contents were detected by chromatometry.Results Compared with the normal control group,serum AST,ALT,TC,TG and RBP 4 contents in the model group were increased significantly(P<0.01),while in comparison with the model group,the levels of the abovementioned 5 serum indexes were down-regulated considerably in the EA group(P<0.05) rather than in the non-acupoint group(P>0.05).Conclusion EA intervention can lower serum AST,ALT,TC,TG and RBP 4 contents in NAFLD rats,which may be responsible for its action in improving NAFLD in clinic.

      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of electroacupuncture(EA) on expression of phosphorylated(pAkt) and caspase-3 proteins in the skeletal muscle in mice with diabetes,so as to provide experimental evidence for treating diabetic myopathy in clinic.Methods Eighteen C 57 mice were equally randomized into control,model and EA groups(n=6 mice/group).Type 1 diabetic model was established by streptozotocin(STZ,i.P.,200 mg/kg).EA(1 mA,20-30 Hz) was applied to bilateral "Zusanli"(ST 36) and "Yanglingquan"(GB 34) for 20 min,once daily for 14 days.Damp weights of the musculus soleus,plantaris,gastrocnemius,extensor digitorum longus and tibialis anterior were measured,and Western blot was used to measure the expression levels of pAkt(ser 473),pAkt(Thr 308),total Akt and caspase-3 proteins in the aforementioned skeleton muscles.Results Compared with the normal control group,the weights of the musculus soleus,plantaris,gastrocnemius,extensor digitorum longus and tibialis anterior were decreased obviously in the model group(P<0.01).After EA treatment,the weights of the 5 skeleton muscles were all increased apparently compared with the model group(P<0.05).In comparison with the normal control group,muscular pAkt(Thr 308) protein expression level was down-regulated significantly in the model group(P<0.01),while that of muscular caspase-3 protein expression of the model group was up-regulated considerably(P<0.01).Following EA,the expression levels of muscular pAkt(Thr 308) and pAkt(ser 473) in the EA group were upregulated apparently(P<0.01),while that of muscular caspase-3 protein was down-regulated obviously(P<0.01).No significant differences were found between the control and model groups in the expression levels of muscular pAkt(ser 473) and total Akt proteins(P>0.05).Conclusion EA intervention can effectively up-regulate expression of pAkt(Thr 308 and ser 473) and down-regulate expression of caspase-3 protein in the skeleton muscle in diabetic mice,which may contribute to its effect in inhibiting diabetic myopathy.

      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of electroacupuncture(EA) intervention on expression of signal transducer and activator of transcription 3(STAT 3) in the focal ischemic cerebral tissue,so as to study its mechanism underlying improving ischemic stroke.Methods A total of 150 SD rats were randomized into sham operation(control) group,cerebral ischemia(CI) model(model) group and EA group which were further randomly divided into 2 hour(2 h),1 day(1 d),3 d,1 week(1 W) and 3 W subgroups(n=6/subgroup for immunohistochemistry,n=4/subgroup for Western blot).CI model was established by occlusion of the middle cerebral artery with electro-coagulation method.EA(3 Hz/20 Hz,2-3 V) was applied to "Baihui"(GV 20) and "Dazhui "(GV 14) for 30 min.The expression of cerebral STAT 3 was detected by immunofluorescence histochemistry and laser-confocal microscopy,and Western blot,separately.Results Compared with the control group,cerebral STAT 3 immunofluorescence intensity values at the time-points of 2 h,1 d,3 d and 1 W,STAT 3 protein expression levels at the time-points of 2 h,1 d and 3 d in the model group were increased significantly(P<0.001,P<0.05).After acupuncture intervention,cerebral STAT 3 immunofluorescence intensity values at the time-points of 1 d,3 d,1 W and 3 W,STAT 3 protein expression levels at the time-points of 1 d,3 d and 3 W in the EA group were down-regulated considerably(P<0.001,P<0.01,P<0.05).No significant differences were found between the control and model groups in STAT 3 immunofluorescence intensity at 3 W,and in STAT 3 protein expression levels at 1 W and 3 W,and between the EA and model groups in STAT 3 immunofluorescence intensity at 2 h,and in STAT 3 protein expression at 2 h,3 d and 1 W(P>0.05).Conclusion EA therapy can down-regulate the expression level of STAT 3 protein in the regional ischemic cerebral tissue in cerebral ischemia rats,which may contribute to its efficacy in the treatment of acute and chronic ischemic stroke.

      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of fire-needle intervention on serum IL-1 and TNF-α contents in rheumatoid arthritis(RA) rats so as to study its underlying mechanism in improving RA.Methods A total of 40 Wistar rats were randomized into normal control,model,methotrexate(MTX,medication) group and fire-needle groups,with 10 cases in each group.RA model was established by injecting Freund's complete adjuvant(0.1 mL) into the rats' right hind paw.Fire-needle was applied to"Jiaji"(EX-B 2),"Zusanli"(ST 36) and "Ashi point"(the most severe site of the swelling joint),once every three days and 8 times altogether.The rat's right hindpaw swelling volume was detected by volumetric method,and serum IL-1 and TNF-α contents were determined by double antibody sandwich ELISA.The pathological changes of synovium tissue of the right knee-joint were observed by optical microscope.Results In comparison with the control group,the swollen paw volumes at time-points of 12 d,19 d,26 d and 33 d after modeling and serum IL-1 and TNF-α contents were increased significantly(P<0.01).Compared to the model group,the swollen paw volumes on day 33 in both medication and fire-needle groups were decreased considerably(P<0.01),while serum IL-1 and TNF-α contents in the medication and fire-needle groups were reduced significantly(P<0.05,P<0.01).No significant differences were found between the medication and fire-needle groups in the swollen paw volumes on day 12(P>0.05).The pathological states(synovial cells' arrangement,inflammatory infiltration,synovial membrane thicke-ning,etc.) of synovium tissue of the right knee-joint in both medication and fire-needle groups were relatively lighter than those of the model group.Conclusion Fire-needle therapy can down-regulate serum IL-1 and TNF-α contents in rheumatoid arthritis rats,and reduce the degree of arthroncus of the affected joint,which may contribute to its effect in improving synovial lesions.

      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of electroacupuncture(EA) intervention at different time in a day on the expression of tyrosine hydroxylase(TH) and c-fos in the Nucleus Accumbens(NAc) so as to explore its mechanism underlying improvement of ketamine addiction.Methods A total of 56 Sprague-Dawley rats were randomized into normal control,normal saline(2 mL/kg),model and EA groups.The EA group was subdivided into Zi-Shi(23:00),Mao-Shi(05:00),Wu-Shi(11:00) and You-Shi(17:00) subgroups.Ketamine addiction model was established by intraperitoneal administration of ketamine(100 mg/kg),once a day for 7 days.EA(2 Hz,3 V) was applied to unilateral "Zusanli"(ST 36) and "Sanyinjiao"(SP 6) for 30 min,once daily for 7 days.The expression of TH and c-fos in the NAc was detected by immunohistochemistry.Results Compared with the normal control group and normal saline group,the numbers of TH and c-fos immunoreaction(IR)-positive neurons in NAc in the model group were upregulated significantly(P<0.01).Compared with the model group,the expression levels of both TH and c-fos IR-positive neurons were down-regulated significantly in the Wu-Shi(11:00) and You-Shi(17:00) subgroups(P<0.01),rather than in the Zi-Shi and Mao-Shi subgroups(P>0.05).Conculsion EA of "Zusanli"(ST 36) and "Sanyinjiao"(SP 6) at 11:00 and 17:00 of the daytime can down-regulate ketamine addiction induced increase of expression of TH and c-fos in the NAc in ketamine addiction rats,which may contribute to its effect in relieving ketamine addiction symptoms in clinic.

      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of moxibustion pretreatment on the expression of leukocytic T-box transcription factor expressed in T cells(T-bet) mRNA and trans-acting T-cell-specific transcription factor GATA-3 mRNA in athletes undergoing heavy load training,so as to study its mechanism underlying prevention of imbalance of immune function.Methods Twelve male middle-long distance running athletes were equally randomized into control group and treatment group.The althelets in the treatment group accepted alternate moxibustion pretreatment of Guanyuan(CV 12)+bilateral Zusanli(ST 36) or Guanyuan(CV 12)+ bilateral Sanyinjiao(SP 6) for 30 min,once a day for 4 weeks,and beginning from the 1st day of the heavy load trai-ning on till the end of the modulatory training.The althletes of the control group were asked to conduct simple heavy load running training.Leukocytes in the collected venous blood samples were acquired following erythrocyte lysis,centrifugation and removal of the supernatant.The expression levels of leukocytic T-bet mRNA and GATA-3 mRNA were detected before,3 weeks after the heavy load running training and 1 week after the adjustment training.Results In comparison with pre-training,the expression levels of leukocytic T-bet mRNA were increased slightly after heavy load running training(7.24%,16.84%) and after adjustment training(4.52%,14.8%) in both control and treatment groups(P>0.05).After heavy load running training,the expression le-vels of leukocytic GATA-3 mRNA were dow-regulated mildly(13.14%,34.04%) in both control and treatment groups(P>0.05),but upregulated considerably in the control group(59.12%,P<0.05) rather than in the treatment group(-17.02%,P>0.05).The GATA-3 mRNA expression level of the treatment group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).The ratios of leukocytic T-bet mRNA/GATA-3 mRNA were increased by 13.58% and 75.16% after heavy load running training and decreased by 29.63% and increased by 35.4%,respectively after adjustment training in the control and treatment groups in comparison with pre-training.No significant differences were found between two groups in the expression levels of T-bet mRNA and the ratios of T-bet mRNA/GATA-3 mRNA at the 3 time-points,and in the expression levels of GATA-3 mRNA before and after heavy load running training(P>0.05).Conclusion Moxibustion pretreatment can inhibit the expression of leukocytic GATA-3 mRNA after adjustment training in the middle-long distance heavy load running athletes,which may contribute to its effect in regulating imbalance of Th 1/Th 2 after heavy load training.

      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of electroacupuncture(EA) stimulation of auricular concha region(ACR) on behavior changes of depression rats.Methods A total of 80 male Wistar rats were randomized into depression model(model,n=6),EA-ACR(n=12),preventive EA-ACR(Pre-EA-ACR,n=11)and EA-ear-tip(n=12)groups.Depression model was established by chronic unpredictable mild stress for 21 days and isolated breeding.Open-field test and sucrose solution intake prefe-rence test were conducted to assess changes of the rats' behavior activities before modeling and on day 22,36 and 50 after star-ting model.For rats of the pre-EA-ACR group,EA(2 Hz,1 mA) was applied to the bilateral auricular concha area for 20 min,once daily for 14 days,beginning from the 8th day on after starting model preparation till the end of the modeling,and for rats of the EA-ACR and EA-ear-tip groups,EA was given to the bilateral ACR and ear-tips respectively,beginning after modeling,once daily for 14 days.Results In comparison with pre-modeling,the percentages of sucrose solution consumption in rats of the model group decreased gradually from day 22 to 50(P>0.05).Compared with the model group,the percentage of sucrose solution consumption in the EA-ACR group was increased significantly on day 50(P<0.05),suggesting an inhibitory effect of EA on the reduction of sucrose intake preference at this time-point.No significant differences were found between the pre-EA-ACR and the model groups and between the EA-ear-tip and model groups as well as between the EA-ACR and model groups at most time-points(P>0.05).Open-field test showed that in comparison with pre-modeling in the same one group,the total scores,crossing and rearing scores on day 22 were decreased considerably in the model and EA-ear-tip groups(P<0.05,P<0.01),rather than in the pre-EA-ACR and EA-ARC groups(P>0.05),suggesting a suppressing effect of pre-EA-ACR and EA-ACR on depression behavior.Compared to day 22 in the same one group,the total scores,crossing and rearing scores on day 36 and 50 in the pre-EA-ACR and EA-ear-tip groups were decreased significantly(P<0.05,P<0.01).Conclusion EA of auricular concha region can restrain the development of depression behavioral status in depression rats,which is superior to that of EA of ear-tip.

      摘要:Objective To observe the effect of electroacupuncture(EA) on levels of T-lymphocytes,spleen index,thymus index and lymphopoiesis in strenuous exercise-induced immunosuppression rats,so as to study its mechanisms underlying improving immune function of strenuous training athletes.Methods A total of 43 SD rats were randomly allocated to control(n=10),model(n=17) and EA(n=16) groups.Immunosuppression model was established by forcing the rat to swim for 150 min in a water tank,once daily,6 times a week and for 8 weeks.EA(2 Hz,<1 mA) was applied to bilateral "Zusanli"(ST 36),"Baihui"(GV 20) and "Guanyuan"(CV 4) for 20 min,once daily for 7 weeks.Spleen weight and thymus weight were detected after killing the anesthetized rats for calculating spleen index and thymus index,separately.Peripheral blood T cell subsets were mea-sured by using flow cytometer,and lymphopoiesis was detected by using 3H-thymidine deoxyribonucleotide(3H-TdR) incorporation.Results In comparison with the control group,spleen index,thymus index,lymphopoiesis and CD3+ levels of the model group were decreased significantly(P<0.01,P<0.05).Compared with the model group,peripheral blood CD3+,CD4+ and NKC levels,and thymus and spleen indexes were increased considerably in EA group(P<0.01,P<0.05).No signi-ficant differences were found between the control and model groups in CD4+,CD8+and CD4+/CD8+and NKC levels,and between the model and EA groups in CD8+and CD4+/CD8+ levels(P>0.05).Conclusion EA intervention can effectively upregulate peripheral blood CD3+,CD4+and NKC,and thymus and spleen indexes in strenuous training rats,which may contribute to its effect in relieving strenuous exercise-induced immunosuppression.

      摘要:Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of acupuncture of five Shu-points of the Liver Meridian plus bloodletting for depression patients and its effect on hemorheology.Methods Thirty depression outpatients were randomly and equally divided into medication and acupuncture+bloodletting groups.Patients of the medication group were treated with Fluoxetine(20 mg/d,PO.in the morning) and those of the acupuncture+bloodletting group treated by acupuncture of Xingjian(LR 2),Taichong(LR 3),Zhongfeng(LR 4) and Ququan(LR 5) first,followed by pricking Dadun(LR 1) to let a little bit of blood out.The treatment was given once every other day,two months altogether.The therapeutic effect was assessed by using Hamilton Depression Rating Scale(HAMD) and the Clinical Global Impression Scale for Severity of Illness(CGI-SI) before and 1,2,4,6,and 8 weeks after the treatment,respectively.Changes of hemorheology were detected by using a blood rheology detector.Results Of the 15 outpatients in both medication and acupuncture+bloodletting groups,6(40.00%)and 6(40.00%)were cured basically,5(33.34%) and 4(26.67%) experienced marked improvement,2(13.33%)and 3(20.00%)were improved,and 2(13.33%) and 2(13.33%)invalid,respectively.No significant difference was found between the two groups in the therapeutic effect(P>0.05).On the 6th and 8th weeks of the treatment,the CGI-SI score of the acupuncture+bloodletting group was significantly lower than that of the medication group(P<0.05),suggesting a better therapeutic effect of the acupuncture+bloodletting group.The low and high shear viscosity of whole blood,erythrocyte aggregation index and rigidity index,and fibrinogen levels of the two groups were decreased significantly after the treatment(P<0.05).No significant difference was found between the two groups in the changes of hemorheology indexes following the treatment(P>0.05).Conclusion Acupuncture of the five Shu-points of the Liver Meridian combined with bloodletting is effective in relieving depression symptoms and improving blood rheology in depression patients.

      摘要:Objective To observe the relationship between the cutaneous temperature of the acupoint area and the environmental temperature and humidity in healthy female undergraduate student volunteers.Methods Forty-nine healthy female undergraduate student volunteers experiencing menstruation were enrolled in the present study.The cutaneous temperature of the acupoint region was detected for 60 min by using a "dynamic skin temperature detector" and under room temperature of(22.15±1.47)℃ and indoor relative humidity of(50.12±4.52)%.The detected acupoints were Xuehai(SP 10),Diji(SP 8),Zhongdu(LR 6),Sanyinjiao(SP 6),Taixi(KI 3),Taibai(SP 3),Taichong(LR 3) and Shuiquan(KI 5)which have been well documented in effectively regulating uterine activity,and Xuanzhong(GB 39) and non-meridian acupoint nearby GB 39.The skin temperature measurement was conducted on the first day of menstruation.Results The skin temperature levels of Xuehai(SP 10),Diji(SP 8),Zhongdu(LR 6),Xuanzhong(GB 39) and non-acupoint near GB 39 were apparently hig-her under higher temperature,showing a significant relevance between the acupoint skin temperature and room temperature(P<0.05).No significant diffe-rences were found between skin temperature levels of Sanyinjiao(SP 6),Taixi(KI 3),Taibai(SP 3),Taichong(LR 3)and Shuiquan(KI 5)and the indoor temperature(P>0.05),between the skin temperature difference of the bilateral isonym acupoints and the indoor temperature,and between the skin temperature difference and the indoor humidity(P>0.05).Conclusion The skin temperature of some acupoints is influenced by the environment temperature rather than the indoor humidity.

      摘要:Of the mammalian transient receptor potential(TRP) superfamily members,transient receptor potential vanilloid 1(TRPV 1),TRPV 2,TRPV 3,TRPV 4,melastatin transient receptor potential(TRPM) 4,TRPM 5,and TRP ankyrin 1(TRPA 1),are mostly permeable to both monovalent and divalent cation channels and are able to sense to changes of the temperature.Cutaneous TRPV 1,TRPV 2,TRPV 3,TRPV 4,TRPM 4 and TRPM 5 are sensitive to warm stimulation.Moxibustion,a type of physical thermal stimulus,can bring forth some curative effects after applying to certain acupoints for a period of time.Therefore,it is possible to reveal the underlying mechanisms of moxibustion in improving some related clinical disorders through studying activities of transient receptor potential family members.In the present paper,the authors summarize various characteristics of the activated TRP family members in the cutaneous tissue.Moreover,the authors also put forward some researching ideas about the local triggering mechanism of moxibustion stimulation and the resultant cascading effects by combining with its characters of local special responses in experimental studies.

      摘要:Objective To analyze the potential learning and regularity characters of clinical application of acupoint in-jection in modern literature of Chinese medicine by using data mining technique,so as to provide a reference for clinical application of this therapy.Methods A database was established first by computer recording of the standardized information data after collection of papers about acupoint injection therapy published in modern medical journals,collections of theses of medical academic conferences,dissertations for medical master's and doctor's degrees.Then,the data mining technique was employed to conduct cross link design about the types or categories of illnesses or clinical conditions,categories of departments,selection of Chinese materia medica,acupoint recipes,and clinical outcomes,etc.At last,the rules and characteristics of the acupoint injection were summarized and analyzed.Results The acupoint injection therapy enjoys the first rank of therapies for the treatment of diseases or clinical conditions of the internal medicine,and the second rank in the treatment of surgical problems.With respect to the types of illnesses or clinical conditions,it is used most frequently for hiccup and backleg pain.Generally,about 4 acupoints and 2 categories of medicines(Chinese herbal medicine or western medicine preparations) are selected in one session of treatment by using the acupoint injection therapy.The acupoints used are those close to and remote to the loci.The drugs predominately employed are single or compound western medicine preparations.The total effective rate is up to more than 93%.Conclusion The acupoint injection therapy has some obvious advantages in the treatment of clinical conditions or illness of the internal medicine and surgical problems,especially for hiccup and backleg pain.It is simple in clinical application and has a higher therapeutic effect.

      摘要:In the present paper,the authors review the development of researches on acupuncture therapy with functional magnetic resonance imaging(fMRI) in recent 5 years in both China and foreign countries.The current researches mainly involve 1) specificity of efficacies of acupoints,2) mechanisms of acupuncture intervention underlying improvement of various clinical conditions or illnesses,3) individual difference of the subjects,and 4) sustained efficacies of acupuncture.In the early stage,researches on acupuncture therapy mostly focus on the immediate efficacy and the specificity of efficacies of acupoints.Along with the actuality of sustained effect of acupuncture,new test design paradigms agreeable with clinical practice are necessary in the future.In addition,more attentions about the stability of the tested results should be paid.

      摘要:In the present review,the authors sumarrize current situations about application of acupuncture and moxibustion therapies in the maternity department in countries outside China in accordance with 68 articles in English published from 2000 to 2011.The clinical application includes:1) dilivery processing,2) lumbo-sacrodynia,3) dilivery pain,4) pregnancy problems,5) problems of post-dilivery,6) conversion of fetal breech presentation,7) nausea and vomitting during early pregnancy,8) safety,9) depression during pregnancy,and 10) blood supply of fetus.In addition,the retrieved papers include 13 review papers,4 survey papers and one animal study.Although the purposes of those clinical trials are different,most of them focus on acupuncture analgesia.Despite most of those clinical trials achieved positive results particularly in pain relief,nausea remission,etc.,and majority of the pregnant women were willing to accept acupuncture intervention,most systematic reviews or meta-analysis do not show conclusively positive results,and stress that further well designed researches are warranted for providing convincing evidence
