electroacupuncturing Renzhong point were perfo- rmed to observe the changes of repiration.The results showed that(1) breath were clicited at the same time of stimulation to animals that were in apneoa;(2)respiratory rate and amplitude were increased following stimula- tion to animals that were in low frequency respiration;(3)rhythmic breath were evoked after stimulation to animals that were in periodic respiration.On the contrary

eletroacupuncturing other points on the facial area didn't have the same effects.The study concluded that electroacupuncturing Renzhong point might have effect of respirationstarting an(?) effoct of respiration-modu- lating.
