The influence of the electro-acupuncturing Neiguan point on ischemic myocardium has been studied through the analysis of adenine nucleotides and two components of monophasic action potential . The experiment was carried out on the rabbits with ischemia of the left ventricular wall. These animals were dividied into two groups . the ischemia and ischemia add EA (EA). The animals Performed false operation was as normal control group.The results suggest that ATP and ADP of ischemic myocardia were greatly lowered and electrical disturbanse appeared . Electro acupunturing . Neiguan point could obvously an1eliorate the above conditions. Namely the levels of ATP and ADP in marginal area of ischemic myocardia in EA group was much higher than those in ischemic group

and the electrical stability was improved as well.
