The authors treated 50 cases of chronic pelvic inflammation by the complementary dynamic acupuncture therapy.Sanyinjiao and Diji were the primary points used in this study. Supplementary points included Zusanli for cold deficiencies and Ligou for damp-heat. Ten days consist of one treatment course. Note
the treatment was discontinued during the menstruation. The second treatment started after menstruation. Of the 50 cases
31 patients fully recovered. The other 19 patients were marked improvement.This study used fewer acupuncture points than traditional methods but obtained the better result.
