200 cases of chronic asthma were treated mainly by the therapy of catgut embedding in acupoints

the total effective rate was 85%. Comparing the types of the disease and Zhen of TCM

the result showed that the method had a good effect on simple asthma

and judgment on the effect of asthma with complications still needs to be further researched
