The dynamic changes of Ca2+ in the points along the Pericardium Channel in the arrhythmia rabbits induced by aconitine and the influence of acupuncturing Neiguan were observed

point 2cm apart from Neiguan) decreased and then restored gradually

but can' t get the level as normal. Acupuncturing Neiguan could inhibit the decrease of Ca2+ in the points mentioned above

and restored the level of as normal. The control points(Quchi

point in the Lung Channel) has no changes as that mentioned above. It demonstrated that the Ca2+ along the Pericardium Channel changes specially during the period of arrhythmia

and acupuncturing Neiguan can modify this type of changes. The authors consider that the calcium ion has some important functions related to the activity of the meridians.
