Recent studies have provided substantial evidence indicating the participa-tion of the caudate nucleus in acupuncture analgesia partly via endogenousopioid peptides
The present work investigated caudate stimulation produced inhibition on neciceptive response of the parafascicular nucleus and the possibleinvolvement of opioid peptides in the inhibition.
