the acupuncture and drug anesthesia group applied manipulation of acupuncture and compound vein anesthesia for reinforcing the effect of acupuncture during the operation of lung removal. 40 cases were studied and 40 cases treated with general anesthesia were kept in control group for comparison. As a result
the acupuncture and anesthesia group used less compound drug liquid than the control group by 45%
and the fine rate of acupuncture anesthesia was 78%
the successful rate was 100%. This method is different from the auxiliary medicine for it is an improvement from passive drug using to active drug using.
